Askeladd was serious about asking Thors to be their leader lel. He just said he was joking to save face in front of his men. You can tell he regrets having to kill Thors. Also Koby really hates Thorfinn 😭 I’d give Thorfinn some slack. On top of being a literal kid which makes it easy to throw around concepts like killing and death, Norse culture glorifies violence. People WANT the chance to fight so they can die a warrior’s death to enter Valhalla– might be good to remind the boys of that in the next video so they’re not confused why everyone’s eager to pick up a sword.

i love how yall are silent during the serious moments, shows how genuine the reactions are to me. Thors death hit me like a truck again and the soundtrack is peak. Askellad easily one of my favorite anime characters of all time, he's such a complex character
