Hi everyone!

If you've been following my blog for a while, you probably know that in the past three years I have been posting weekly tutorials quite regularly. 2018 has been quite exceptional, since I only managed to release one.

The past three months have been incredibly busy. I had to find a new house, applying for a new PhD, relocating my office and surviving the flu. I could have posted some filler articles, but I decided not to do that; I care more about quality than quantity.

There has also been a discussion with Unity to start a more formal collaboration, but sadly we did not reach an agreement.

Now that my situation has stabilised, I'm looking forward to bring tutorials back. After asking on Twitter, the next series will be about face-swap technology using Deep Learning. From theory to practice, I'll explain how to create your very own deepfakes videos. And yes, there will be an entire post about the Ethics of face-swap.

TL;DR: Tutorials are back. πŸŽ‰

sad to hear we did not reach a more formal agreement with you - your tutorials are great and a service to the Unity community. but happy to hear that tutorials are back!

Hi Stella! Thank you so much for your kind words, they mean a lot! It was really sad to hear that Unity, as a company, does not think the same about the work I have been doing. I'm still trying to figure out if and how to continue making Unity content after this. But yeah, it feels good posting again! :-)
