The Weirdest and Most Explicit Movie Premiering at TIFF 2025 (Patreon)
Content
Toronto International Film Festival is upon us, and as always, it brings some of the most explicit and weirdest movies—and this year is no different.
In this post, I’ll reveal the weirdest, most explicit movie set to premiere at TIFF:
"F*ck My Son" — premiering on September 11. It’s based on an adult comic book by Johnny Ryan and features a bizarre mix of sex and twisted plotlines.
The story follows a young, attractive mother who gets kidnapped by a devious, Machiavellian elderly woman (often described as a "grandmother" or "geriatric hag"). This elderly woman is cruel and manipulative, keeping captives in a prison-like setting. Her twisted motivation comes from her obsession with getting her abhorrently ugly, mutant-like adult son (wart-ridden, grotesque, and socially repellent) laid.
Trapped and facing torture, the mother is pressured at gunpoint to engage in sexual acts with the son. She complies, but secretly plots her escape. The ending is bloody, ugly, and filled with violence.
Sex and Nudity
The comic book is loaded with graphic sexual content, including full female nudity and over-the-top illustrations featuring body fluids like spit and urine. The mutant son is introduced with graphic nudity, and explicit sex acts between him and the mother are shown in disturbing detail, including awkward and grotesque positions—all while the elderly mother watches.
There’s a heavy amount of nudity in the comic, and it looks like much of it will make its way into the live-action version premiering at TIFF on September 11. If the filmmakers keep the explicit and grotesque elements intact, the movie could stir up major buzz—similar to The Substance—though its plot is far weirder and more grotesque. Hopefully, they stay true to the comic, because this movie definitely has the potential to build a strong cult following.
