Brig has had this idea for awhile now, and after the end of the most recent season we figured now would be a great time for this video. Hopefully the final trilogy will shake this up a bunch!

Ale

Didn't expect this but glad to have it!!

snoobcat

WHAT IN THE PEAK JUST DROPPED RIGHT NOW

Max Demian

Tengen vs Gyutaro > all

Shadow

Yall gonna have to do this after Naruto is finished. (No spoilers dummy’s)

‎

You guys should do JJK one as well

Sanji

The final trilogy is probably gonna be the best animation ever made icl 😭

Cannon Andrus

I don’t mean to be biased but my top 5 is the most accurate

BipolarKitten

They like to rate and rank. Next upload, The Gek boys Top 10 moments.

Legendarygamer

My personal favs are s1 finale, tengen, rengoku and Mitsuri fights. I will say tho I skipped to see Mitsuris and it was cut and you guys say she got packed up when she was stalemating him for 3+ hours 😭she did not get done dirty lmao she walked out unscathed unlike tengen who had to retire cuz of up6 😳 Also I forgot that the only hashira who has actually killed a upper moon at this point is muichiro, tanjiro took the other two lol Anyways ill go back to watching now

yio

Rengoku will forever have a special place in my heart, my one and only aniki 🩵

Ana

Nooo they said Mitsuri got packed up? Hoooow? 😩😂😂

Mason Schutz

This trilogy is going to absolutely decimate this list. 😭 I can’t wait to see how it all goes down.

Ana

My top 5 1.Rengoku vs Akuza 2. Tengen vs gyutaro 3. Zenitsu and inosuke vs Daki 4. The whole spider family arc. 5. Mitsuri vs upper moon 4

Legendarygamer

Idk even before the mark she was lowkey stronger than up4, but once she realized her attacks wouldn’t kill it, she switched to more of a defensive role to stall out for tanjiro. I think if zohakuten was just the main body she would have beaten him solo like mui did with up5 considering how easily she was parrying his attacks, but this is just my interpretation as a Mitsuri fan

Nonos

Tengen vs gyutaro gotta be the best animated fight imo. Though, emotionally that rengoku vs Akaza fight is a bit better. That’s my top 2 for sure.

Ana

I wish they watch MHA this would be a super fun video for that show. This season has been straight heat

nans

love when you guys do videos like this! it’s always a fun watch :)

GreetswithJudgement

This is honestly a great and fun way to keep your audience happy especially those who are waiting for more content from their favorite shows that are over for now! This is an awesome idea Brig!

Ben U

ngl I didn't realize just how bad the yapping and flashbacks are in this show.

Lydia

being on the brink of death and saying "we're going for the win!" is crazyyyyyy

Ana
>>144206865

That's what makes it so good. And puts the emotion in the fights

Lydia

rengoku has my heart but when i watched the uzui fight i legit couldn't believe my eyes

Mason Schutz

Fun fact to what I believe what Cannon said at 1:13:16: Ufotable actually does use Unreal Engine (alongside After Effects, Houdini, Photoshop, and a couple of others major software) I imagine they will continue to use it especially for the Infinity Castle.

Ana

I love muichiro but his fight was the most boring

aubrey

aahhh love this idea!!!!! i can say this with 100% certainty that the final trilogy will bulldoze these lists, lol. my personal top 3 are all in the final 2 arcs

A_Daddy Daichi

I love Rengoku & his fight with Akaza was great but Tengen vs Gyutaro was absolutely insane. That takes my #1 spot rn

Ale

I do have a very different view than you guys when it comes to watch anime (a little context I've been watching anime since I was 8 yo) I'm used to the cheese and the yapping and I feel this is part of why I enjoy DS so much, I feel the flashbacks get my fellings involved and not only the good animation, which is amazing but it's really not that important for me. My top 1 is definitely Rengoku vs Akaza, even up to this point I can't watch it without tearing up, but 1x19 Hinokami does exactly the same to me, the "Never give up" episode was amazingly animated and I sure enjoyed it, but it doesn't even get close as the other 2 for me. It got me curios too that you guys all rank them based on different things, it brings different perspectives which I really liked! You guys should do more videos like this for other shows too!! It kinda bothered me that Brig said Mitsuru got packed tho lol Remember she fought for +3 hours against a demon that couldn't be killed and she survived without loosing anything, she held pretty well by herself imo.

Jimmy

All Imma say is we gonna have to do this for Shippuden 😈

Kite

is the tokito fight audio out of sync? or am I trippin

Nope

Gyutaro (upper 6) is clearly weaker than Gyokko (upper 5) otherwise it wouldn't make sense, but Muichiro is stronger than Tengen AND he had the mark, so it looks like Gyokko sucks but in reality he just got a worse matchup than Daki and Gyutaro

Kite

this but with AoT scenes or HxH 🧐 (or any show you've watched)

Kyle

I love the backstories even on rewatch 😮‍💨 but I loved zenitsu on first watch and I watched in dub so I'm definitely the outlier 💀

Ana
>>144215594

It was for me. But then it started working right

Josh Ashford
>>144216156

I heard that gyutaro was actually around upper 4 level on his own, but was held back to upper 6 because he wanted to keep daki safe. If he had abandoned her and continued to fight on his own, he would have obliterated them most likely, Muzan says as much himself

Nope
>>144216156

Muzan did say daki held gyutaro back but I've never read anything in the manga about him being upper 4

Nope
>>144216156

The internet says this: Short Answer: No. Daki held him back not in power, but in mercilessness. Gyutaro could've and would've won if he decided to kill Zenitsu & Tanjiro right then and there, but chose not to. Gyutaro is not stronger than Gyokko or Hantengu !

Uros Vesic

The upcoming fights are gonna go crazyyy

TheSauceGuy

Geks, the blood demon art that immobilizes Muzan is NOT Yushiro's. If you remember in season 1 when Tanjiro sensed Muzan in Asakusa while eating noodles; upon encountering him, Muzan turned a random dude into a demon. This demon that Muzan turned was later healed by Tamayo so that he'd no longer be under Muzan's influence but still required blood.

TheSauceGuy

It's not the most insane fight or best in terms of animation, but I think Tanjiro vs Daki was my favorite. We've seen Tanjiro be epic after this point, but we haven't really seen him in that state since that episode.

Brig Andrus
>>144204278

I said she got packed Up but it was an impossible fight bc he wasn’t the main body!

Mattchu

I was sad we didn’t get a reaction to these fights last year you guys are awesome for coming back to it for us🙏

Ty Bean

Came to reply to the last comment, because I agree. Mitsuri did not get "packed" up. She was going toe for toe with UM4 for HOURS with literally no win condition hoping and praying for Tanjiro and company to behead the main body. If Hantengu didn't have crazy hax in his abilities, Mitsuri could have beheaded that form probably multiple times. It was an endurance test, which demons are obviously always going to win in. It sucks that Mitsuri is reduced to a fight where she's viewed as a side character when the reason Hantengu was able to be beheaded in the first place was because she was holding back the most powerful version of Hantengu for literal hours.

Artemipsyche

I love this. Great idea!!!! I needed to rewatch some of these scenes.

Ty Bean

I think the 4x8 fight with Gyomei vs Muzan (kinda) feels less like a fight and more like a plot point to drag things forward. In each of the fights listed outside of it, there is clearly and decisively a winner, and while that episode was incredible and amazing, having it ranked so high on the list feels strange because Gyomei swung a spiked ball and did one breath and that was kinda it. Like the animation went crazy, but it feels weird to call that scene a "fight" in itself when you could make the same argument for Zenitsu vs. tongue demon and Inosuke vs. big dude in the same episode because they lasted about as long. Even the Susamaru/Yahaba fight lasted longer. I think you could do an entirely different ranking of "favorite demon slayer episodes" which would include fights but also all of the other animations besides fights because 4x8 was obviously an amazing episode but the fight between Gyomei and Muzan lasts literally less than 60 seconds total if you consider the active time of the fight. If this was about which episodes made you feel goosebumps and stuff, 4x8 would certainly be top three, but as a fight, it's definitely lackluster compared to the other things being ranked.

Tbf to them the video is called “top 10 DS fight scenes” rather than fights so gyomei’s does fall under that, also why they showed rengoku’s ending fight scene rather than the whole fight scene

YourGuy

Fire Force mentioned by Jack!

Lily

Hope you know Kurapika and Daki are same VA!

Sasha

Rengoku❌ Rengoat✅ No need for top 10 1. Rengoat 2. Uzui 3. Zenitsu vs Spider 4. Sun Halo Dragon Head Dance 5. Rengoku flying through the train 6. Giyu infinite void But honestly top two are way above anything else.

Sasha

I could feel Carter's frustration with the vase guy. Lmao. What kind of secrets he hid in that tablet😂

Sasha

Why not show the moment when Tanjiro said something like "Rengoku won because you are running away" because the second last fight scene wasn't even a fight scene. Kinda annoying.

Sasha
>>144206865

It's about 50/50 for me. The vase guy yap is one of the worst minutes of demon slayer. But Rengoku vs Akaza and Zenitsu vs Spider had the most epic flashbacks of all time(for Demon Slayer)

Sasha
>>144204788

I don't know what season I was on when I dropped it. It was so boring😂 there was like some huge dude destroying half the city or some shit like that?

Wadzi

Great video guys thanks for doing it. My number one so far hands down is Never Give Up its just on another level animation wise especially when Uzui and Gyutaro are screaming and going hard at it. It is just jawdropping stuff. My second favorite is my beautiful man Rengoku I will never get over his death such a beautiful fight it will always hold a special place in my heart. The s4 episode 8 fight with Muzan is 3th. For me I had my jaw open the whole time it was beyond EPIC I couldnt believe what I was seeing. After what I saw of Gyomei the Stone Hashira in that ridiculously great episode I have a feeling his future fights have the potential to change up the top 2 but time will tell.

JustADad

Doesn’t even matter what the rest are but honestly the top 2 in demon slayer should always be #1) Uzui vs Gyutaro #2) Tanjiro unlocking Hinokami I feel like you can’t downplay the significance that episode 19 had to this shows success as a whole plus it was amazingly animated and mixed with the moment it’s top tier.
