TrueCrisp
>>149744004

if ur gonna watch one piece u might as well watch it with them. No point in watching the whole thing twice since its so ling

ttchoppa

Jimbei 🤐🤐

Zechree

This journey will be epic

JD Galbraith

This is gunna be fun. I just started Skypiea tonight. Man this anime has been fun. There is so much more to get to guys!

Isaiah

Im glad even when the boys are talking carters locked in. He'll definitely appreciate the writing if he keeps paying attention like this

JD Galbraith
>>149744004

I started watching before they started. Already at the Skypiea arc. I’m loving it so far. I’d suggest watching!

Zipzzty

YES Peak Arc

Veronia

OH LETS GOOOO

Isaiah

Im sure you know as well but just in case Johnny and Yoasku arent zoros blood brothers

Liam Carter

As a long time one piece fan lemme say this: What you guys have seen up to now has been good, at some points it's great even! I'm not one of those people who will say any series is a 10/10 all the way through, everything has it's peaks and valleys you know? But NOW. Now you're getting into the TRUE one peak. Now you're entering a world unlike any other. I consider this arc to be the point where OP really starts to hit its stride and continue down a path that made it the legendary series it is today. Enjoy geks.

Crystal

OMG LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

MEW1023

i need more One Piece. This is where the show goes from "good anime" to something really special. MMMMMMMM PEAKK

Zannen Da

Episode 34-37, Jackson! Please watch those four together with the boys!

Izaya
>>149745644

they already putting some 10 or so episodes per week... If anything its a shame Haikyuu is getting sacrificed over One Piece

Nat_off

Your reactions are just an other excuse for me to rewatch one piece again and again

sabreen

me stopping my one piece binge to watch this 🥸

Zipzzty

Remember East Blue Is the Weakest Of All the seas

Budats
>>149745644

That's fine. They will still finish Haikyuu first. But I love both Haikyuu and OP the same so I'm fine with whatever they upload as long as it's one of the 2. 😅

april 🍏

The dress to impress shoutout was wild lmao

Kesendo

13:58 wtf I forgot about usopp and johnny being such rats 😂

Isaiah
>>149745644

Spoke a little too soon huh lmao be happy they always deliver

Niffol

The real world equivalent of the seven warlords are privateers. Navies throughout the years would employ pirates to pirate only other pirates or enemy states ships during war. Basically mecenares honestly. But a fun part of the world building reflecting real world stuff.

Max__

next 4 episodes are crazy

Alex Ramirez

Power scaling in One Piece is extremely inconsistent. This is a response to the discussion at the end about how strong Arlong is if he comes from the Grand Line.

Gaboxxy
>>149745644

@ttchoppa if they keep at that pace, it will take them more than 4 years to finish it. Even if they stay consistent and watch 10 episodes a week, it'll still take them more than 2. I have no idea why they chose a show this long when they have so many shows to watch as it is.

Emily

love hearing the takes. devil fruit doesn't equal strong by the way. I;m glad to see you guys just enjoying the show even with its comedic moments

Niffol

I see Cannon is a foot guy.

Zannen Da

Strength is important, but so is having a strong ambition and resolve. If you have all three, you could survive in the Grand Line.

Nat_off

Usopp is the funny friend and he's god tier

TheOG

The warlords are not the same strength- some are stronger, some are weaker

Icchi

LeBron

ttchoppa
>>149745644

@Gabriel because it’s the #1 popular in Japan it’s great Jack loves it and they want to watch it? After One Piece live action many YouTubers start the anime and many are watching at similar pace, 4-6eps per week and are doing pretty well.

ttchoppa

Although they are all fishman doesn’t mean Arlong is as strong as Jimbei. I don’t think Arlong is that strong as a warlord.

T

Dude I love hearing all the theories and discussion about the plot and worldbuilding. It's so fresh to hear what they think and predict from a pov that hasn't been spoiled yet - makes these reactions a lot more interesting and enjoyable!

T
>>149751734

Also, please watch 34-37 together. I trust you jack 🙏

april 🍏

Obligatory justice for Momoo comment

JD Galbraith

Also. Not sure if anyone said it but tattoos are looked down upon in Japan. It’s associated with the Yakuza. Basically the Japanese mob.

Nic_

Ep 37 is usually when people see the beauty of one piece, I would say that’s really the turning point of the show and oda shows people that this is not just a goofy manga about pirates but something much more than that.

Mai

for next op reaction video, i recommend you guys should watch 34-37! it is a perfect time to end and yall might be more hype believe me!!!!

Mitch
>>149749922

Yea early parts of any long running animes are always gonna have issues like that.

Niffol

Usopp is annoying, becomes even more annoying and ridiculous. But then.... Theres a moment that flips a switch in your brain and then you get it. Don't worry about it, it'll just happen when it happens.

Fatima

please watch ep 34-35-36 together🙏

rhett donaldson

THANK YOU FOR FEEDING ME. Arlong Park is great, it's my 9th favorite arc of the series and has an episode many people say is the episode that started to truly hook them on the series. And that is episode 37. I'm so excited

pink turtle

First of all, happy early birthday Carter! 🥳 Please watch eps 35-37 together guys, you HAVE to end on 37! This 3 video drop kind of threw the schedule off if y’all are adamant about dropping no more than 3 videos at a time. Personally, I wouldn’t mind getting just a single video (34) next drop if it meant we get 35-37 together, but it’d be awesome if you guys surprised us with eps 34-37 (4 video drop). 😭🙏

Jed

Momoo is big but there is always bigger

Rayanh LaNansha

I'm up to date with both the anime and the manga. Personally, I accept Usopp and I can appreciate his potential, but I don't particularly like him. So it's really not something that happens for everyone. I have friends who still can;t stand him just like I have those who love him, which I still struggle to understand. It's a person-to-person thing.

Qhoa

W

Sandi

Zoro is so cool tbh.

Yerr

God Usopp

TheGoonCommander

Highly recommend to watch the next 4 in one sitting!

MEW1023
>>149745644

Lmao, i would take a One Piece upload over volleyball any day of the week

Matthew Valentine

Zoro is the obvious GOAT of the other crew members but Sanji still my fav

LoneCourier21

The first truly goated arc begins!

LoneCourier21

Next 4 in one go. Highly recommend. Sometimes the anime just has batches that naturally occur with great pairing.

Hansen

Ussop has never grown on me. Sorry.

Enma

How many episodes do you think it will take for them to say Usopp's name correctly? 🤣🤣 Usopp is an endearing character, meaning he might not be your favorite right now or even later on in the series, but he will hopefully grow on you as you continue to watch, as he did for me. And honestly he's like if you transported someone from our world to One Piece, I'd be freaking out too if I saw a giant shark man grab a house by its foundation and throw it like it's nothing.

Alex Ramirez
>>149749922

This isn't an early parts issue, the entire story has powerscaling inconsistencies.

Loyd M

after arlong park arc, we can now watch the Live Action right?

Nick K

You will not grow to like Usopp, he will grow into a better character, who you will probably like more than you like him now. Oda has a way of showing you something, you thinking "well I don't like this" and him finding a way to win you over

T
>>149761082

there are major characters that are revealed way too early in the opla though. gotta get through at least the water 7 saga

Nanashi

I miss the comedy in early OP, so goofy. You guys got me really hyped about it, I was thinking on just rewatching on my own cause I can't wait between uploads lmao

Arallius

YESS KEEP THE ONE PIECE COMING

sil

arlong park has begun!!! one of the best arcs in op for sure <3 and hard agree zoro with the blue shirt >>>> the prettiest

Vallll

I think the Geks confused the navy with the government. I’m not saying that the government isn’t corrupted, but in ONE PIECE these two aren’t quite the same.

Michaela Igl

When is naruto coming again ?

Super Novice

The idea of pirates working for the government is a real life historical occurrence, the Privateers. So the warlords do have a basis in reality :) Also I say this every week but I’m so happy your guys are enjoying the show!

Super Novice
>>149761082

I wouldn’t. I’d rather them have more of the anime and not stall to watch the LA. I don’t hate the LA just want them to continue with the anime.

Vol
>>149749922

It's inconsistent all throughout. Oda does not care for power scaling. It personally does not bother me as it usually doesn't affect the main cast, but it is a weakness in relation to fights. The anime adaptation recently has not been making it any better: for the sake of longer cool looking fights, they end up making certain characters look more goated than they actually are.

Vol

Big fan of your discussions!

Maj

I'm up to date on the anime, and as much as my Sunday mornings are COOKING every week, rewatching this does make me realise how much of a fun vibe the early parts of one piece are. This has honestly been way funnier on the rewatch

Maj
>>149754011

Even before that moment, the guy's a comedian. That trio of him luffy and the character that hasn't been introduced yet are my favourite in the show. Those 3 never fail to make me laugh

1999

The Usopp slander is crazy 😭

Sandi
>>149757901

Sanji is my fave character. You can like both👍🏽

corLeonis

stream playing dress to impress hahaha and theme is Strawhat Pirates hahaha

Mitch
>>149749922

Oda most definitely cares for powerscaling what are you talking about. Basically every single arc is categorized by groups of people with clear Hierchial rankings based on power.

Ari
>>149760649

He is like the most realistic character tbh so if he grows I'll grow some affection

Yerr

Arlong park is good, but idk how some people are saying its one of the best arcs in the show when marineford, water 7, and saboady arcs exist and thats just within the first. 500-600 eps. Arlong park is good, but please please dont think its like this amazing incredible masterpiece that some of these comments would have u believe. You’ll just be left underwhelmed. Way better and more interesting arcs to come. The show is still building at this point and hasnt quite found its groove. But its getting there and this arc is a great part of that natural progression. But far from “the best”.

Josh
>>149786636

Yo btw do u mind editing this a bit so they don't know which arcs are pre-timeskip? want it to be a bit of a surprise

Yerr
>>149786636

Yes, sorry didnt even think abt that. Thought i was being spoiler free but u are right will edit now! Thank you!

ttchoppa
>>149786636

I agree. It’s good but speaking of story complexity, number of characters involved, theme, world building, it’s a simpler shonen story not close to some future arcs. Btw Sabaody is so underrated.

Yerr
>>149786636

No prob thanks for catching it! Im sorry for the mess up!

Yerr
>>149786636

Completely agree 100% ttchoppa🫱🏾‍🫲🏽

T
>>149786636

It's def not the best arc, but I think it's the first arc that gets most viewers hooked into the show. And then it only gets better from here

Nash

Ahhh the arc that got me hooked 😌

Marcos

Also Jack might want to skip those 2 buggy episodes after Arlong. Technically they are canon cover stories but not really important to the story. Also I think 3 fillers in lougetowb

Sanji

I never liked usopp when I first started watching and… I still don’t LMAOO. But you do eventually learn to respect and care for him! He does grow a ton as a character👍

Sanji

Arlong and Mihawk toying with east blue randoms 🙂‍↔️😂🤣

Lydia

This arc is the one where one piece hooked me ♥️ then at skypiea it lost me..then got reeled back in at 💦🌊🛶⭐️🤩 arc

Marcos
>>149806417

Never seen a truer comment but hopefully Skypiea with one pace will be a better experience for them

Lydia
>>149806417

I’ve never used it but def interested to see what it’s like

Alex Ramirez
>>149749922

Stop glazing Oda for one second. Even he's honest with how inconsistent he is on powerscaling.

Mitch
>>149792209

The loguetown fillers are pretty solid tho, especially with Daddy and Usopp.

Matis
>>149772196

it makes me feel so nostalgic tho xD it's nice to see how everyone grows both within the show and us as viewers

sahme

DRESS TO IMPRESS MENTIONED SLAY

Fedei

Yall, love the reactions as always but please if you guys could do 36 and 37 together. I know it's a 3 ep thing for you guys but it would be good with the momentum of the story, that's all I'm asking.

Matis

even tho i love this arc i really can't wait for logue town

Zannen Da
>>149792209

I would argue they should watch it cuz of that one returning character. If they just watch Loguetown, the four of them might be confused on the who and why of that character showing up randomly.

Zess
>>149806417

Im excited for you and others to rewatch skypeia. It's become a top tier arc on rewatch for me, when I felt the same way as you at first. (beyond it's world building elements of the arc, which was always good)

jrnoodles

Thanks! I was not a big fan of arlong park arc in my first watch, but it has grown on me

Icchi
>>149786636

It’s not far from the best at all, still in many fans’ top 5 for a reason… East Blue saga in general is peak One piece, and it just keeps going

Rayanh LaNansha
>>149786636

Personally I think it's just the best arc in East Blue, but not overall. Especially not if we're talking top 5. At least for me, if we ignore the sometimes bad anime pacing, Water7/Ennis Lobby, Thriller Bark, Sabaody, Marineford, Dressrosa, Wano and now Egghead top the Arlong Park arc any day.

Yerr
>>149786636

Completely agree, also think there isnt much competition in east blue either. Part of that is simply because its the first real arc of the show. But yes definitely not close on top 5. The purpose of my earlier comment was really just to manage expectations. If the poor geks go into this arc expecting world class greatness they are going to be left wanting more. Because they wont get that. If they go in with more realistic expectations i think they’ll love it and enjoy it for what it is. Just think sometimes people throw around the word “peak”. Its good. Dont get me wrong. But its not god tier as some of these comments would have them believe.

Alex

If ur waiting on usopp to cook it’s gonnna be a minute, I love him because i love hating on him

Freedom

Usopp definitely balances the crew coz he’s so useless lol, but he definitely contributes for the comedy, he’s relatable in that way coz everyone else is crazy strong, this is a great backstory for Nami, cant wait for you to witness the amazing scenes and dialogue

maddie bloom

the outfit comments are so funny because some characters have the most mismatched, horrendous outfits while others have super drippy outfits

Trznk

No Arlong is NOWHERE near warlord level, but also the power systems are not so black and white and straightforward. Just remember what Mihawk said- the east blue is the WEAKEST of all the seas, the villains they encounter here are really weak

PGT
>>149792209

Daddy is actually the only show exclusive canon; he's not filler!

zoldaic

You guys believe too much from the word of mouth of Arlong as strong as the other fishman, never stated as a fact. Could be or not be. This is not like hxh where all narrator said is the fact.

Veronia

Can’t wait for the next drop!! Hoping for 34-37, even though I know that won’t happen🤣

Mauricio

Are we gonna get One piece drop today ? I'm here just waiting for the notification hahah <3

N P

I'm praying for that One Piece drop tonight 😩 🙏

Mitch
>>149886223

Yea the comparison of Arlong being on par with jimbei is kind of a mistranslation if I’m not mistaken it should be more accurate to say “Arlong traveled alongside Jinbei”

JT

I started One piece in 2006 and Ussop was 1 of my favourites, but if I started it now as an adult then my opinion of him would be very similar to you guys.

rhett donaldson

I need this next One Piece drop like Luffy needs meat😮‍💨👀

maw
>>149806417

Skypiea is one of my favorite arcs for some reason. I found thriller bark and alabasta slower

N P
>>149995064

One Piece gets good at episode 2 when Luffy meets Zoro

Brandon Bryant
>>149995064

I think that moment is good but falls off till Arlong park. Even then watching mc underwater for 7 episodes isn’t that exciting considering the moment before.

Ghedo
>>149995064

no it does not, Baratie Arc is good too, its to long but not mid. Dont try to be different, not a good look

Brandon Bryant
>>149995064

I’ve all ready watched but when I’m paying on the highest level for a patron allowed to have an opinion on what I want to see but thanks

studiogek
>>149995064

One Piece not getting good until 400 episodes in has to be the biggest lie we were ever told

Chan0G
>>149995064

you're allowed to have an opinion, but what's the point of saying something that doesn't add any form of sustenance? just " one piece is mid" just seems like troll bait
