Jenu

cant see the schedule post for some reason, will they be posting anything else today?

Karlsefni

1:59, I apologize for being one of those hindsight merchants 😓, thought one of you guys mentioned the antidote in the post discussion though - but some of us mentioned it cause y'all were bashing sasori about his iq but none of you guys brung up the point that how would sasori ever know that this random pink haired girl has an antidote to his never seen before poison allowing her to move

Haven518

SIIver

Sorry buddy but they ain’t doing that. A little too late for that.

Storm

LETS GOOOOOO PEAKRUTO

Xoul

Has it really only been 29? I think you skipped a couple

Brig Andrus

Regardless the smart thing to do is just use your ranged attack so that there is a 0% chance of anything happening. That being said the plot just continue not like Sakura gonna die here😂

Xoul

For it being mid you really like being first 🤔

Xoul

We all hear stuff with so much running through our minds, it's the Naruto passion, hopefully we learn from this.

Karlsefni

for sure - in that regard I guess you guys are completly justified in bashing his decision making, poor choice from Sasori but I guess all I’m trying to say is it’s not necessarily poorly written since Sasori is portrayed as an impatient & arrogant man who hates to be kept waiting so it’s in his character to make such a hasty & uncalculated decision. But despite that being his character, given the circumstances - it wasn’t an over the top egregiously stupid moment.

More Naruto Reactions

The Upload Time was peak. If you could keep it up for Naruto it would be super nice, so people from Europe can also enjoy it before they sleep

Micah Seer

The thing is, you’re right he is an impatient man that hates to wait. But what would be faster than using the puppet for the final blow?? The iron sand right next to her😂😂 the boys are right on this one. No risk high reward if he went that route. Sasori made many dumb mistakes in this fights that makes it just meh. I get your points but it just could have been much better

Micah Seer

For real. Too much mid in a row. Feel like we’ve been edged for the best part of the show for so long. Can’t wait to get there

Brig Andrus

Need Micah on the couch fr

Lydia

OHMG SHIPPUDEN DAY. I missed the notif 🥲

Lydia

He’s on day 259 lol

Lydia

Yayyyy

Storm

Another Peak Reactions Boys Sasori is Actually OP it's insane Lowkey if sasori fought against anyone other than chiyo/sakura he would have won nobody really has a answer for his poison/iron sand/ and his 100 puppets he was just hard countered throughout the entire fight and was still winning Regardless of the issues its still a dope fight with interesting abilities Also loved the ending as imo perfect ending for sasori character

ether

this upload time is great europe gang friday night sortedd

FerociousSpark .

The pacing of this arc definitely hurts it a lot. If it was 15 episodes instead of 30 it would be fantastic. Fortunately it's only uphill from here

ether

by the way idk if i missed this, but did you guys decide to wait until the later arcs to watch the Kakashi gaiden?

Matthew Valentine

sasori was dope, this arc isnt as good as the rest of shippuden imo but hes a crazy first main akatsuki fight (not counting the kisame/itachi encounters in part 1)

G

He let himself get killed

Lydia

its guna be glorious

Mitch

TRUE

jrnoodles

Thank you! The slander on Sasori my man at the end is unreal.

lian

my exact problem with this arc, it did not to be 30 episodes lol i know they probably had to drag it out for airtime reasons but still

Izaya

They probably gonna watch it when it naturally comes in the episode order

Alex Ramirez

There is a consequence to Granny Chiyo using the life force jutsu. Sakura wasn't dead so the jutsu only took some of her life energy away. Meaning she lost years in her lifespan. She didn't say there was no consequences, she just states that she got off without "serious injuries".

Ari

it's been so long since i watched Shippuden so everytime i see Mckay and Brigg glances to each other, im thinking what will happen haha. Also, the symbolism of scenes in Shippuden always gets me, the way characters die just like Sasori just brakes my heart somehow... The emotion the show gives to you is insane, if you didnt feel anything after watching 500 eps, i say you're Sasori's puppet lol

Lydia

Man I love hearing Geto’s voice again 😭

Karlsefni

Well, now you guys know why Sasori was so impulsive & hated being kept waiting - imagine being lied to by your Grandma, hoping for so long that you'll see your parents some day again to just eventually come to the realization they were never alive to begin with

FerociousSpark .

I think this Sasori fight might actually be the longest fight in the series

Shockbile Gaming

I'm annoyed you didn't skip or atleast put another episode after 28 lol. That episode was useless lmao

CoLdBITeR

I love Naruto, grew up watching it when they still had it on tv, but man did I forget how long it takes to get anywhere. It's times like these that I prefer the manga version.

Goat

I think Deidara had more clay in the cave so he wasn't really running out. Also when they keep repeating the same phrase in the anime, it just means they are trying to waste your time

cade-carter

im sure someone else has said it but her reanimation jutsu isnt for puppets. she made it incase Sasori or ever got killed or injured, she wanted to be able to save him. But that never happened and it cant reverse becoming a puppet. Sakura wasnt dead so the justu likely took years off her life but not costing death.

Ari

the way i understand it, the clones of Team Guys's strength were based on their level of strength the first time those clones appeared. So they just have to be stronger from that time, they have to keep getting stronger.

Tubasmitty2

The Sasori fight in these episodes is the high point of this arc action wise, the 10 vs. 100 puppets choreography is crazy. The rest of it is pretty awful. It has a lot of good world-building and character development, but it's quite the slogfest overall. Also, puppets are the most unsettling things to me in both media and real life, so that doesn't give this arc any bonus points haha

Niffol

Jacks just out here reading manga.

Marcos

Just want to thank you studio gek right now I’m in tears since I just got horrible news that my parents are getting a divorce. So I’m watching your videos to feel some happiness.

N P

Hang in there man, you'll be okay

Karlsefni

Rewatch the scene, Chiyo states her reanimation jutsu can somehow even bring life to a puppet - most likely it needs to be some form of human puppet with some human bodyparts so the soul can be retrieved & returned somewhere and chakra can be used but the intention is not completely clear if she would have used it directly for Sasori or his parents. It's not even made clear if Sasori made The Mother & Father puppets from there actual corpses but considering Chiyo makes sure to specifically point out that her jutsu can even reanimate a puppet while the Mother puppets face is directly on screen -think it’s heavily implying that her intention all along was probably to bring back one of Sasori's parents

Marcos

Thanks dude 🥲

David Ambroson

Boruto clears every single naruto character

Karlsefni

Carter, to answer your question - Lady Chiyo can reanimate puppets as long as they're human puppets that have been made using corpses so the soul can actually be retrieved & returned to the body. So, that scene sort of gives us the answer that Sasori did indeed make the Mother & Father puppet from the corpses of his actual parents cause that would be the only way that Granny Chiyo would have been able to revive one of his parents. The sand probably retrieved their dead bodies for a burial or funeral but Sasori instead decided to use there corpses to make human puppets, don't know for sure to be honest though - wish this was a little more fleshed as the anime doesn't make it completely clear. Not sure if it's clearly shown or stated in the Manga either.

Karlsefni

Boruto Manga is pretty good right now but that's still a crazy take David

Frosty

i thought hindsight merchant meant people saying stuff only cause they know whats going to happen later? sakura said she made 3 in previous episodes no?

Frizen

Granny's jutsu still has consequence, I mean she's literally giving her life energy. Probably took off most of whatever time she has left, she just doesn't instantly die unless she uses it on a dead person.

McKay Carter

This means a lot Marcos! DM us if you need anything

Marcos

Thanks McKay but I will be okay!! Just you guys keep being awesome since for a lot of us who struggle with stuff on a daily basis you guys mean the world to us.

Senbujohns

I remember these episodes made me realized how crazy strong each individual from the Akatsuki was gonna be. If that's what it takes to kill the first one and he even gave up at the end. He could have won. It made me excited to see how they were gonna defeat the Akatuski

Brig Andrus

I’m sorry Marcos. My parents got divorced a few years back. Things will get better with time! Hang in there

Monte

Yes, Carter was correct. Your kidneys are there and believe it or not you need them, they're vital. Technically you only need one and not both but if you get stabbed in the kidneys you can bleed out very quickly and d*e

Marcos

Thanks brig i appreciate it and I’m sorry about your parents hope everything is better for you now!

studiogek

This is Carter, and Cannon and my parents got divorced about 13 years ago and it was super tough at the time. I'm sorry you have to go through that. I came out the other side glad for the hard times because it made me who I am! Don't forget that the bad times never last!

Marcos

Thanks guys I really appreciate you!!!! You’ve all been so kind and so supportive. Thanks for telling me about how it happened between your parents. I will get through this and your guys videos will be a great pick me up 😊

David Ambroson

Who in shippuden beats current boruto?

Nicolai

Is it possible to do 2 uploads a week by this pace gonna take years

Karlsefni

Ohhh, I thought u meant as in like there actual character/writing - that's why I mentioned Blue Vortex getting better as I like Boruto's character more with each passing chapter - in terms of strength I agree with you

Gaboxxy

We literally saw Sakura preparing antidotes for Sasori's poison to help out Kankuro. Don't understand how someone pointing it out is possibly a spoiler or being a Hindsight merchant. Matter of fact, episode 25 literally shows a flashback of when it was previously shown, literally the exact same scene.

BeautyWillSaveTheWorld

Yes, Sasori vs Sakura and Granny Chio fight is the longest, the most stretched out fight and possibly the worst or second worst fight pacing wise. Peaks of fight are great but constantly going back to Kakashi and Naruto chasing Deidara isn't helping it at all. Also, Carter, I agree with the unappealing part of puppets because I hated them ever since we saw Kankuro use them. They were cool when we reached 10 vs 100 fight though

Dale Thomas

What's your guys discord? Also ease watch assassination classroom and parasite...

Ada

🏅a medal of courage for surviving episode 28 for geks

Billie

C: LET HER COOK JACK 😤 J: I AM LETTING HER COOK 😠

Secretly

Little backstory on Chiyo and the hidden sand : Because the hidden sand were low on population and Ninja, they came up with puppet justu to make up for the numbers, and lower the risk of death. Granny was actually one of the sand’s strongest ninjas in the 2nd great war.

Vol

is this your Superbowl is crazyyyy

JaJa

🥴🥴

Alex

Do you mean Parasite or Parasyte: The Maxim.... because those are two very different things haha

Crogadile

Sakura is irrelevant from here on out, enjoy.

Dale Thomas

Shit....I think it's parasyte...right?

RapidStar

isnt this pretty much spoilers

Ninjinzo

dawg stop being an hindsight merchant. I do agree but ur lowkey spoiling

Ninjinzo

nah boruto manga rn cooking hard as hell

Ninjinzo

it's still hella lame icl would've been better if they swapped

Ninjinzo

i still think Sasori made it harder for himself and took longer than he needed it to be. Given with his impatient nature it makes 0 sense why he would give them time and not just end things with blatant openings

Bambina

So not true but whatever I guess

Karlsefni

She’s definitely relevant moving forward and throughout the rest of shippuden considering she has the third most amount of screen time out of the Konoha 12 - regardless moving forward - please try to avoid writing comments like this just for the sake of the geks

kyle

odds of cannon not reading ep 29s title is +10,000

Gyt

1:15:16 don’t hide ur true feelings Carter

Paul Rogers

Granny asked him to wait for his parents to return… probably why he hates to be kept waiting

Ladnon

When is 86 going to come back?

Richie Sour

Yeah that adds a whole new layer

Richie Sour

Sasori is lowkey underrated because that’s facts with a different matchup he’s way more powerful, the plot armor putting him against someone to counter the poison and granny had to be done

Richie Sour

These episodes were good tho imo and I enjoyed the fight even if this arc is dragged out, the episode with the animation change was fire

Big Brother 2

yeah wasnt she comparable to Hanzo in power in her prime?

Cookie

the emptiness after catching up with every new upload...

Lydia

You know when the episode looks all wonky and the characters look off that a peak animation episode is coming 😭😭

Nick K

When Carter mispoke and said the clone fight was sick I was genuinely concerned for a moment so thankfully they cleared that up quick

Michael H

Sasori is a difficult member to rank

Alex

Karlsefni

These episodes were solid, no reason to be a hindsight merchant aswell

Poragami

One piece coming today?

LaYami・砂漠の子

40:57 Carter fav Japanese words "doitsumo koitsumo" brig "yappari" waiting for the rest of yall

BleachWhenPlzzz

Damn that never came to my mind :/ nice one

BleachWhenPlzzz

See this is the kinda stuff that’s better to know beforehand so to be more appreciative of the arc

Jenu

yall should watch the LoL finals, itll be so hype, there will be like 500k live viewers as well

Hechy

they can watch their goat faker get smashed by BLG live on stream

Jenu

Next saturday 2pm gmt, this match has a great storyline and will be hype regardless of the victors. If you guys are interested,id advice getting some kinda knowledge bout the game, u wont regret it

Jenu

Wont happen cuh my rat zeus will clean house

AlecSinWonderland

Granny Chiyo’s battle IQ is amazing. Sasori was a puppet genius but fell short with the amount of battle experience that Chiyo has accumulated throughout her life. She did survive a war and it’s no surprise that she became a much respected Elder of Sunagakure

Xoul

Very interesting point 👌i never even thought of that possibility because I was like Granny would never used her own son as a puppet to fight but i guess given her old school ways maybe she would have if only just this one time against Sasori 😵 thanks for this POV

TouPT

9am cst. #1 Chinese team BLG vs 4 time Worlds Champion Faker and T1. Best of 5.

Hechy

bin gonna cement himself as the toplane goat and knight as the new age top midlaner with this worlds win

Max Demian

T1 gonna smash them buddy

Hechy

T1 Fan Minions even invading studio gek. the plague is everywhere

Kai Hagemann

Hechy buddy ur delusional af if u think this gonna be a one sided match, im not saying t1 gonna stomp them but 2 things, t1 doesnt lose to the LPL at worlds (proven on all occasions, especially against JDG last year) and they confidently beat Geng yesterday, the team that they went 0 10 against regionally in the last couple years. T1 aint losing homie

Audreyldo

Im so ready for this 🥹

G

Why don’t you guys watch openings ?

SirCatelot

ikr, they should at the very least react to the openings once

DontFailArtSchoolEren

all that matters is not performing bad on the matches that count, its anyone's game.

Mauricio.

They react to them at the end of the year. They make a video reacting to every opening of animes that they've finished. I think this year with One piece and Naruto is gonna be different but I would assume that the will react to at least the openings that are not related to the arcs that they're on.

Hechy

T1 fans use these cherry picked statistics as if it has any influence on the outcome. if we are gonna use cherry picked stats how about: bin has never lost a bo5 vs T1 before, hes currently 4-0. BLG has never lost a bo5 to T1 before, currently 3-0, twice of those just this year. u see how braindead yall sound? also i was just trash talking T1 im obviously aware that the gap between BLG and T1 probably isnt huge.

Hadi Almohammed

Btw Sasori waiting for his parents to return is the reason why he keeps saying he hates waiting to Daidara

Faris Alamin

Yeah, I feel like the openings are such a big part of a lot of anime.

G

They’re definitely missing out

Ameth

Chiyo is such a fucking legend. Also its so funny how Team Guy beats the encounter. Lee: "Guys, just do better!" Everyone else: "oh shit youre right" and they just do it

Lydia

One more day! Next batch should be exciting 😬

SIIver

Surely they’ll upload….

Xoul

No way! 🤯 why am I so horrible at connecting the pieces 😭

Xoul

Exactly, I hope they can realize this as they move forward because they seem to have confused Sasori losing with being a bumb. IMO an Akatsuki fight demonstrates VERY powerful characters and in this case also an eye opener to the sleeping giants out there 👀

Riya

I really liked Sasori’s different puppet techniques and attacks from the beginning of the fight to the end. He literally pulled out every single attack from his arsenal from smoke bombs, knives, to big iron steel objects etc, using his own body and fire bending, to 100 puppets. Goated fight

G

Feening

G

Yesss

JoLen

48:16 god damn shippuden OSTs giving me depression all over again

Terry C

I noticed you guys don't like the recaps and all the fillers.. when the anime was airing, it was so on hot, that they demanded an episode each week, of course this made it so that the anime would constantly catch up to the manga. So they added all these recaps and fillers AKA time wasters just to fill in the time slot without progressing the anime so it wouldn't catch up to the manga. You guys should watch "Naruto Kai", it's a project made by fans that edited down the anime removing all the recaps and filler stuff that wasn't in the manga, keeping it as true as they can to the manga. It makes the anime so much better.

lenagumihohime

Does anyone know why I can't watch the next batch of episodes? Its already on yt… I also scrolled directly through the last uploads on the home page and it won't appear anywhere. Does someone have the same problem as me? Thanks in advance!
