let’s gooo I haven’t seen this fight in like more than 5 years

accomplice

So locked in his revenged and did a 1 vs 1 in confidence!

accomplice

waiting for Alice in Hoboland..

every upload this is said.. lmao. This coming from someone who loves the show so I get it I guess

@G @Lydia Imma tag u guys in some generational peak later on this post in a bit 👀

KrisSto

Congrats on getting married man

Jimmy

Oh boy the next 50 episodes are gonna be a wild ride. Gonna be interesting to hear the thoughts of the left side of the group afterwards cus so far they have not been converted. Time will tell 😈

LuvStarburst

I'm glad Carter caught on that without Kakashi, Shikamaru and the other two would have died so fast without him.

Niffol

Someone tell Jack if he finds himself saying something shikamaru is doing is dumb. he has no faith. come on.

Lucas Chaves

GUYS PLEASE CAN ANYONE LET ME KNOW WHEN SEVERANCE IS OUT???

Niffol

Only halfway through and Jack has been so close to crashing out. too many mountain dews.

Gunder

Ain’t no way that’s how the fight ends☠️

PST3

Another reason the DUB is better: it has Shikamaru's famous line "I don't hide in the Shadows, I become them" Shikamaru's & Hidan's English dub actors are better than the original.

Niffol

Idk how many times you have to see the ladies in Naruto get tossed aside, before you stop expecting anything. Exceptions to the rule are out there, but they are exceptions for a reason lol.

Niffol

Based on how thick the trees they are running past are.. they probably are still moving fast. those trees are massive. Big enough to fight on.

Juan Avila

Let’s go, good arc. But we keep moving forward 🗣️🔥🔥🔥

Darrell Henry

I forgot how cool this fight was but no it’s definitely not top 5.

Storm

Peak Dropping At The Best Time We Moveeeeee

G

The dub specifies its is clans deers , and only members of his clan can go there

BadCo.

You aren't going crazy. the animation does change every once in a while. Mostly scenes that are very fight intensive vs casual scenes. They become more fluid in big fight scenes. Shippuden used different animators based on the overall content of the episode. Much like OG Naruto, if you noticed the fight between Naruto and Sasuke was a completely different animation than the rest of the series.

Lucas Chaves

hope u sleep on the cold side of the pillow today

Kesendo

Ghost Asuma smoking on that Hidan pack 😂

Kite

doubting Shikamaru in big 2025 😭

Niffol

Shikamaru's family harvests antlers from their deer for medicine and probably for income. If you go back you can find multiple times where shikamaru mentions having to go grab antlers for his dad or tsunade. stuff like that.

Juan Avila

The pfp killing me 🤣

Kite

best character in hxh 🐐

Kite

just finished watching The Substance and now I have to look at Kakuzu's body horror transformation 😭

FerociousSpark .

I'll be honest the dialogue in these episodes were SO much better in dub. A lot of these sub lines for the big moments were very generic

BeautyWillSaveTheWorld

Yea, fight is not even top 10 but atleast it's better than anything in Shippuden before this moment. Shikamaru's revenge is pretty cool tho

BipolarKitten

I bet there's a whole plastic bottle graveyard behind their camera. Every upload, someone throws a bottle behind the camera.🤣

BeautyWillSaveTheWorld

Hey, Ino got in that bird and found them so atleast she did something! 😂

BeautyWillSaveTheWorld

That deer isn't just randomly there. Shikamaru Nara's name has a connection to deer in Japanese culture. The name "Nara" refers to the Nara prefecture in Japan, which is famous for its deer. In the Naruto, Shikamaru's family owns a forest where deer live. I read somewhere that deer are also symbolic in Japanese culture, representing peace, and spirituality. I always loved that scene, especially where Asuma appeared because I love that background music so much. But favourite for me is always when Naruto shows up 💪

Kite

nah

Kite

is the audio out of sync at 1:08:15 or it's just me?

PST3

In the DUB Shikamaru tells Hidan 'I am your god now' like how Carter wanted.

Vixen

Yeah it gets fixed a bit after though

Vixen

Kakuzu clowning Hidan for getting tricked by a clone just to get got by one 💀

Kite

the moment is already ruined tho 😭

Vixen

Yeah unfortunate timing 😭

Secretly

Sai's in the ANBU, I'm sure he's mastered his justu, if he were to train something he'd have to create it from scratch by himself. Only reason Naruto was training was cause Kakashi hand crafted a training plan for him to learn a jutsu.

Secretly

Sharingan drains Kakashi's chakra so he keeps it covered

Juan Avila

Lmao this debate will never end indeed, tho I do agree with the take

Storm

Lmao the dub and sub both have their pros and cons but for first time experience the geks made the right decisions to watch sub. If they really want to they can just simply rewatch the scenes in dub

cade-carter

Sai IS NOT in the Anbu. The foundation is an underground group in the leaf that in general has above average members. But they are not the Anbu and mostly, not as good

Secretly

The woods are for Shikamaru's Clan, the Nara Clan.

cade-carter

Kakashi cannot turn off his sharingan so it always drains chakra. His eyes would also be out of sync if he used both at the same time

Secretly

Shikamaru with Prep time >>> Gojo

Heather 💕

You guys need to eventually watch the filler episodes where they try and look at Kakashi’s face. They’re hilarious 😂 One episode in og Naruto and one in Shippuden!

Karlsefni

translators were definitely tryna clock out early with these episodes 😭 - so many lines were so dull & generic

Lydia

i dont think thats a hot take Carter i HATED Hidan when i first watched 😂

Karlsefni

noticed this aswell - wish the geks would stick with the Japanese voice acting but have the dub script as the subtitles

Conk

Haha 😄

Thomas

Now that we are weeks out from THOSE episodes ❤️‍🔥, it’s about time. To provide some new perspective and enhance the experience of people here who have finished Naruto and are rewatching the show with them, watch this video (spoilers warning): (Wear earphones, trust me) https://youtu.be/eb6XZneBUxQ?si=W6TxyHOhBe1e9W1j This video captures the soul of Naruto and is one aspect as to what makes the series so legendary, emotionally impactful, and memorable: the depth of the story, the way things tie together, what things mean in the end. It’s like Brig said in their most recent ranking video: once we have the full story, the show really elevates. And it’s also why first-time watchers fail to realize Naruto’s essence: Naruto is structured in such a way that it’s greatness is realized late into the story, and this structure is different from new-gens like AoT, which are instantly impactful. But Naruto’s soul is unmatched, and it breaks the scale in ways that other shows do not reach.

Lydia

"I will pass down judgement" is pretty good imo, but "Im your god now" is tooooooo mf cold. like im a tride and true, til the day i die sub girl, but there are some scenes i want them to see in dub. like for example there is an episode coming up where i would maybe sell my kidney to watch them hear just one line of dialogue in the dub. its in the 130s. iykyk 😏

Rayanh Shequinah Nansha

Dang, I was starting to worry about whether I had the wrong recollection of how dope that little speech Shikamaru gave Hidan at the end. When Brig said it hits harder in dub and then said the subs were different, I felt relief because while I only watch animes in subs, what they were looking at in this reaction was not the version I saw the last two times I binged Naruto. I really wish subs were much more accurate. It's like the whole "nakama" thing in One Piece. Subtle choices like that change the depth of your feelings about the scene. Still amazing though.

Marcus D

Not sure if this has been said but Asuma’s VA is Arlong , it’s weird hearing such a menacing voice on a good guy 😂

Michael H

I really wish Shikamaru had gone to Kakashi to request his help, rather than Kakashi volunteering at the last minute. I love Shikamaru’s plan here, but it is hard to overlook just how effortlessly the three of them would have been wiped out without Kakashi there. And after Shikamaru’s epic shogi montage too…

jrnoodles

Thanks Geks! I like Hidan, he's so unhinged lol. I am your god now.

Lydia

btw i was guna tell you those lines are literally 🔥🔥🔥 and i would also love for them to hear those as well. kk im done hehe

Karlsefni

Kakashi without the vest & headband, he really got it on 😮‍💨

Karlsefni

Kakashi "stand on business" Hatake - top 2 Naruto character & he not 2 🗣️🗣️🗣️

Michael H

Jack was so distraught over that Shikamaru/Hidan fight 😂 I thought my guy was going to leave the room in disgust for a second there.

Ashley K

The best filler episode ever hahaha

Julio cruz

The woods are special to Shikamaru's clan. His name "Shika" also means Deer. His wallpaper in his room was full of deer as well.

Lydia

half dead kakashi with the hair down tho 🥵

Lydia

we gotta get them to watch the kakashi face filler 😭

Xoul

Did he even know Kakashi was in town? He's always busy with missions its understandle he didn't think of him IMO

Xoul

The questions is, is the dub dialogue more accurate or are they making up lines to get "cool" phrases and hype the scenes "more"?

Liam

Get a room

Michael H

@S0uL YgR Yeah, I just feel like it would have shown Shikamaru in a better light had he factored Kakashi in at the start, realizing that they absolutely needed him. After that shogi montage, it made it seem like he had a foolproof strategy for taking them down, but under his original plan with Ino and Choji, they would have lost almost immediately. Granted, he was still very badass in this arc, so it’s not a big deal.

Lydia

😂😂😂😂😂😂

Liam

His huge lips are filler?

Liam

Another reason why dub mogs

Marcus D

Was not the translators, most of what they did was pretty accurate to the original audio. The dub just does their own thing a lot.

Yugi

Jack doesn't deserve the „hate“, his reaction is exactly what the writer wanted from the viewers. There was a lot of talk about underestimating during the fight and no one thought Shika could beat an Akatsuki 1vs1 at that time

Karlsefni

mb - commented this only having watched the first episode of the reaction - I agree, the dialogue was good for the last 4 episodes. For the first one I’m not necessarily talking about the accuracy of conveying the same message as the Japanese but the word choice

Yugi

I believe that Hidan will die after a while. He talked all the time about having to make sacrifices to Lord Jashin and since he can't make any now, he will lose his immortality too

Yugi

For me, the last scene always feels like there was no time or pages left in the manga to end the fight more spectacularly. But I think a real Naruto vs Kakuzu fight would have overshadowed the actual story of Shikamaru and his revenge. Since this arc went down in history as Shikamaru Shippuuden, I think it's actually okay, especially since we got a crazy animation for 80% of the fight

SIIver

Hot take. I think ino takes the cake for useless character.

TrueCrisp

thats not a hot take at all that's just true

Brent Mahasi

When did Sakura become a bum after being an aktasuki😭

Secretly

Bro forgot about Tenten

Secretly

I love how you guys are expecting a low Chunin to do something vs an Akatsuki

Secretly

who's Jake ?

Secretly

They also mentioned something about Deer antler medicine in Part 1 when Choji was injured

Secretly

Kakashi is one of the best charcters and one of the best Ninjas in the verse

Secretly

they didn't know enough about Kakazu. Most of their plan was based on Hidan's ability and how to defeat him

Secretly

I respect the plug for ur edit bro

Secretly

they're a division of the ANBU. The foundation is under Danzo's command whereas there are ANBU black ops under the direct command of the Hokage. They are both considered ANBU. And ANBU isn't a rank, it's a division. there are Chunin and Jonin in the ANBU

Secretly

I love how rewatching Naruto it was obvious Kakashi used a clone, but as a first time watcher you don't catch it.

Secretly

I think the clip used vs what they watch were slightly different, cause near the end it's the same

Secretly

yeah that was her part. If she had done anything to Kakazu it would feel like a stretch. I'm glad that all of the friends aren't goated ninja.

Aidan Ross

Is the audio not synced up correctly with the video during episode 87 for anyone else or just me

Aidan Ross

Not the whole time just at points

G

Accurate , directly from manga , soooo

jessiefungirl

sakura passed the baton after og

Kyle

to be fair she may miss 100% of the shots she takes but at least she takes them 😭😭

jessiefungirl

Nah i forgot how sad choji and especially ino looked here, i didn't even remember him getting pieced up the way he did. the geks getting increasingly irritated had me weak 🤣 and 🐐 shikamaru respect

2026-10-07 09:00 Not that yall were supposed to remember, but in part 1 Tsunade actually requests deer antlers from Shikaku (Shikamaru's dad) for a medicine. Shikamaru's name translates to "like a deer" "Shika" meaning deer. Almost every Naruto character's name has a meaning behind it. Kakazu means "bishop" and Hidan means "rook" both being Shogi pieces. If you look closely back at Shikamaru and Asuma's shogi game, Asuma identifies himself as the pawn and sacrifices the pawn to defeat the rook (Hidan) and bishop (Kakazu).

Patriicia

Carter that T-Shirt is creeping me out hahahaha

Marcos Ibarra

Kakazu’s death is more satisfying in dub because he screams in agony while Naruto’s jutsu rips into him lol

Patriicia

Cannon sleepwalking again

Patriicia

thats so sick, I didnt know this!

Fatipapi (Byakuya’s Girl)

Time stood stiiiiiillll the way it did befooooore, its like im sleeepwaaaalkiiiiiiiinnnggg 🤘🏼

Fatipapi (Byakuya’s Girl)

Ice cold take! I hate it when people in the fandom constantly shit on Sakura when Ino and Tenten are literally right there 🤡

Lukash

Dattebayo :)

Patriicia

omgg thats actually a banger I forgot about 😭😭😭

Patriicia

hahaha enjoy!! I already watched it and after I finished ep 87 I was like damn what a cliffhanger and then realized they gave us 5 eps 😭😭😭❤️

Fatipapi (Byakuya’s Girl)

Its not the actors writing those lines.. the lines may be better in dub, but the acting quality is still beneath jp actors imo

Fatipapi (Byakuya’s Girl)

Such a nice lil surprise ♥️ I think im gonna get up first, make myself some breakfast and watch it on the bigger screen instead 😂 more enjoyable that way!

ReaperCome

ITS LIKE IM SLEEEEPWALKINGGG 🤘

kuza

shikamaru the goat

holyfuckingobito

Fun fact there's a place in Japan actually called Nara which is the same as Shikamaru's clan and it's famous for having deers

Shadow

We love smoking the hidan pack

Patriicia

That part 1:16:00 where Kakashi sees The Fourth Hokage is so sick, gave me goosebumps

kuza

man i love these fights

kuza

so underrated

BeautyWillSaveTheWorld

My favorite scene from this batch is when Kakashi sees the Fourth Hokage in Naruto. It hits even harder on a rewatch when you truly understand what that moment meant for Kakashi and when you know everything about the characters 🥹

Ante

Nah, Jack had to be trolling with the Shikamaru slander. The character's entire personality is 3D chess. Trashing the setup immediately without letting it play out was a fools game. Unwinnable matchup.

Ron Jackson Jr

nah if he opened his Sharingan and his normal eye then it won't work properly. So he has to close one eye in order for his Sharingan to work. its for the drip too.

Albdre

The mangaka apologized for the ridiculous way Naruto defeated Kakuzu because he was in the hospital at the time and wanted to end the fight before taking a break to rest.

Bambina

Now that’s a lie

kuza

cannon stay awake for a peak moment damn man 😭

kuza

kakazu "fell off" after dueling with shikimaru and kakashi then getting hit by a rasen shurikan point blank 😭

BeautyWillSaveTheWorld

I don't like both of them but if I had to pick I like Hidan more because atleast his stupidity is entertaining 😂

Lydia

He’s definitely more entertaining but he was so mean 😭😭 he said all that stuff about asuma! and weiirdddd lol

Izaya

Its not randomly Shikamaru's family's woods. He obviously led Hidan there and purpose and it was obviously part of the plan form the beginning to intercept them near that location.

Jonas Teigen

Are they gonna watch Sakamoto Days? First episode was fire!

Cookie

W upload can’t wait for next week ‼️‼️

Gyt

That’s y they should have watched the gaiden first

Vallll

Carter, you don’t need to feel bad if you aren’t ‘loyal’ to certain characters when you watch shows like Naruto. It’s quite normal to change your favorite characters if shows are hundreds of episodes long. Some people’s goats might have not even appeared yet. There’s so much that you guys don’t know, even when it comes to characters that have already appeared on stage.

Jeff

Oh nooo audio sync😭

Richie Sour

This fight and arc cooked, love these episodes The ending never bothered me but I can see what Jack wouldn’t like how easy it was for Naruto to get that attack off, but it also makes sense that he got absolutely destroyed by his new jutsu

Patriicia

haaahahahahahahaa

Mysterious Figure

I just want to put Cannon to bed. Poor guy. That looked like pure suffering. Where do we sign a petition for someone to let Cannon finally get some sleep? 😂😂 he probably did it to himself tho LMAO

Mysterious Figure

I would just have some animals eat the dismembered Hidan body parts. He would then continue to "live" through their digestion in many tiny pieces. Im sure there are other ways to PERMANENTLY kill someone as "immortal" as that trash of an Akatsuki wannabe. Lowest tier worthless member. I was always surprised that the Akatsuki even allowed him to join. He basically has nothing to offer besides not being able to die... and even that he cant really do properly when faced with a proper opponent. Hidan doesn't really excel at anything, he never showed any special elemental jutsu, his taijutsu is just average, so his only other gimmick is his one-and-done trump card where he can kill you if he has your blood, and even that takes forever for him to execute because of the ritual taking time. He cant mass murder anyone. He has no other useful skills. He can honestly be killed by any well rounded taijutsu user like Rock Lee no problem if Lee would just never let himself be hit by Hidan.

More Naruto Reactions

We need to switch the schedule shippuuden should be in the morning

Vallll

I don’t think Hidan is as bad as you said. Kakashi’s taijutsu is way above Hidan’s, but fighting Hidan is hard because he has a menacing weapon, while Kakashi can’t even get scratched, so he has to be very careful when fighting Hidan. Hidan’s secret ninjutsu can almost kill any ninja that doesn’t know about his secret.

Gyt

6:26 that would be crazyyyyy🤣🤣

Vallll

Sometimes I feel Kakashi is nerfed. There were so many instances when he could’ve used his Mangekyo. I know he has chakra issues, but it doesn’t make sense that he never even considered using it during the battle. When Kakutsu was holding Kakashi and trying to take his heart, Kakashi should’ve tried to use Kamui, instead of waiting for Shikamaru. Basically that ability is just too op, so Kishimoto bans Kakashi from using it most of the times.

BeautyWillSaveTheWorld

If something went wrong after he was immobilized from using it, he wouldn’t be able to protect his comrades, and we all know that protecting them is what matters most to him

Kesendo

Tbf, he was strong enough to contribute to the capture of the 2 tails and the 7 tails. He was also the only one who could be partnered with kakuzu, as his immortality prevented kakuzu from killing him like he did with all of his previous partners.

Vallll

I know what you mean, and I’m a Kakashi fan. But the three of them (Kakashi, Ino, Choji) almost died before Naruto and Yamato appeared, Kakashi also almost died if Hidan didn’t stab himself in time. I get Kishimoto wants to make those times more thrilling, but it would have made more sense to make Kakashi think about Kamui when he is on the verge of death. I almost forgot that he had this ability.

Mahti

At least Tenten throws shit at the enemies Ino literally did nothing

mal

next arc is my favorite arc in naruto. this bout to be peak

Picasso
>>160980261

Yeah it’s like a depth perception thing. One eye can’t read movements, and the other eye can, so I’m sure it would be weird to look through both at the same time

Picasso

Accuracy ≠ better Both sub and dub are better than the other at different points in the series.

Karlsefni

@Vall Funny that you mention this cause I think next episode he says that he was gonna have to resort to using kamui on Kakuzus Fire/Wind attack before Yamato & Naruto came in last second

Vallll

Definitely forgot that, cos I never rewatched the next episode. But it now makes sense.

DonDuh103

goated arc Hidan and Kakuzu are my favorite Akatsuki.

bondbond53

Is Canon the Rob (RTTV) of Studio Gek with falling asleep? Get some rest my guy

bondbond53

Kakashi in his turtleneck and dishevelled hair no headband is DADDY

Lydia

This. It might be easy to forget bc he’s goofy and slow on the uptake but Naruto is insanely powerful.

bondbond53

where is the source for this? I'm sick of fans putting words into mangakas mouths 'Gege said this, Togashi said that etc.' Source?

Lydia

Ah maybe half..clothed? 😂😂😂

studiogek

I’m with Jack tbh. We know Naruto is powerful but it makes no sense how kakuzu was 1v4 everyone and is super old and smart and then gets out smarted by Naruto who just isn’t that smart in one second. Kinda unsatisfying

Lydia

I just meant it made sense the attack worked on kakuzu from a power standpoint. But I agree with you that what led up to the attack was definitely iffy lol so it’s fair you feel that way

brog.

Naruto is brilliant battle IQ he isn’t smart normally

brog.

I’m sure someone said this since it’s common knowledge but it’s the Nara clan’s forest. shikmaru’s name literally means deer

brog.

Not saying that this plan was particularly brilliant but to say naruto isn’t smart is not accurate

Albdre

Google it bro why are you so angry👀

Lydia

Yeah Carter not too much on Naruto 😂😂 every battle we’ve seen he has found a way to outsmart his opponent. He just can’t learn for shit.

kuza

fair enough

JaJa

😂

JaJa

lmaoooo only if he starts simping for Yamato 😂

Secretly

Well to be fair, He made it easier by merging. They killed him twice already. A diversion in a fight doesn’t necessarily mean outsmarted. Even Mayweather could “outsmart” an opponent in a fight, and bro can’t even read

Secretly

Bro was fighting for his life 🤣

jessiefungirl

only if he jolts awake to yap about willpower

Gingerinono

Yes! I’m pretty sure it’s also referenced after the Sasuke Retrieval Arc when Choji and Neji ar evening healed by Tsunade and the other medical ninja. Tsunade thanks Shikaku for maintaining the clan’s deer forest which was key to the medical treatments 💚

Mitch

Insane to even compare the two. Rob has been physically unconscious for 70% of every single reaction he’s been apart of.

JaJa

Yep Shika in shikamaru means deer. & in Nara, Japan thats where deer roams freely and you can feed them treatw

JaJa

i thought it was just me 😔like for 4mins, for the best scene too, with shikamaru capturing/burying Hidan

kyle

no shot the audio desynced right at the best moment in shippuden yet

Lydia

Right? 😭😭😭

kyle

i was in disbelief 😭💔

Karlsefni

would have never expected mayweather to be catching strays underneath a Gek Naruto reaction 😭😭😭

Alec Raatz

I googled it I can’t find anything

kuza

man everyone in rttv be falling asleep at one point

Dugong

I’m pretty sure the author was rushed to finish up this fight. That’s why Naruto had to one tap :/ I want the last part of the fight to be redone so baddd

Storm

I lowkey agree with the Jack Take. Kakuzu was HIM. I was expecting some big type of cinematic endboss fight lol. Besides that hiccup this whole arc and fight was peak. First watch I didn't really like hidan either but the rewatch made me appreciate him way more. His personality makes him stand out more compared to the other akatsuki. Carter switching favs is nothing new. My top 1 never changed but I had friends who switched between who their favorite characters were throughout shippuden. Great Reaction Onto the next batch

BeautyWillSaveTheWorld

I was wondering, do you consider comments like "I can't wait for the batch of episodes in __ weeks" to be spoilers? I just want to make sure, so I know not to say things like that 🤔

DietCocaine

How the hell would those three handle this without kakashi. Ino an Choji are literally just cheerleaders

Sloth

Jack, if you punch Hidan while Shikamaru is doing shadow possession jutsu, he feels the punch. If you cut his head off you cut off Shikamaru's head as well lmao. You'd have to time it to just when he lets go of the jutsu which would be risky since he could dodge and turn the fight around.

TrueCrisp

i think they mentioned that they like comments like that

Sloth

Also, the the woods belong to Shikamaru's family. They mentioned it in OG Naruto when Tsunade came to the village. Tsunade told Shikamaru's dad she would be counting on them for their medicinal deer antlers from their land. The Nara family has that land where they keep a bunch of deer for medicinal purposes essentially. It wasn't a convenient plot point it's been in the story since OG Naruto.

Lydia

Can we just appreciate how damn good Naruto fight scenes are? 😩 some of them are THE best in all of anime.

Lydia

I’m glad Jack was hype 🥹

MegMegMegg

To be fair to Ino (though I'm not a big fan of her character as written) Her jutsu are not at all made for combat, especially not against mentally strong opponents like the Akatsuki. They are really meant for espionage and interrogation. Other than her mind jutsus, she has medical ninjutsu, which is also not suited to combat and means she has to stay out of the fight as much as she can because if she gets got, she can't heal her squad which leaves them at a disadvantage.

Bambina

Yup. We have to remember not everyone is the type of ninja to be good at melee fights, they all have different roles. Her mind transfer jutsu is pretty cool actually, but not suitable here, so the next best thing to do is to not get in the way and potentially make her team lose their healer which is ultimately worse than her not joining the fight.

Yugi

If you dont know his ability’s: 8/10 very dangerous fighter If you know: you know 5/10

Oromis

It's his clans woods, Shika literally translates to deer, which is why we're often randomly shown deer when the story is focused on Shikamaru and his clan(Nara). When Rock Lee needed to have his surgery the Nara clan also provided certain medicinal resources only found within their forest. Basically Shikamaru is saying he led him to an area that his family line will watch over forever to make sure Hidan can never be put together.

Oromis

that's just not true? Unless there is a part where that's explained that i've missed in multiple rewatches. Shikamaru uses his shadow possession in OG Naruto to have someone else infict self damage by knocking her head into a wall while he is fine because there is no wall behind him. If it worked like you said, he would have knocked himself out too. There is another fight where threatens to have someone stab themselves since he has no knife in his hand while the shadow possessed person does have a knife in their hand. Also, how would shadow stitching not kill himself when he is literally impaling people? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oyIURJHG_Zc

Shockbile Gaming

I think the while fight Kakashi was doing what advanced shinobi do, preserve energy and maintain stability and control over the situation

Brig Andrus

THEN DON’T SEND HER OUT TO THE FIELD ☠️

Vallll

Kakuzu: “It can’t be. You snuck behind me without me sensing you. In that instant, you read the speed of my seal? And using Lightning style at this level… I see, you are the Sharingan Kakashi.” This reminds me of: “Is this Levi?” - Zeke. “Is that Ackerman?” - Porco. Moments when your enemies recognize you instantly.

Bambina

But they need her to be close to heal if they need her to, she can’t just wander off in the forest and wait for them to call or not to call her😆

Cannon Andrus

Thank you mitch 🙏🏽 I have still always been cooking these Naruto episodes

Cannon Andrus

Don’t worry guys it won’t happen again 🙏🏽

Juan Avila

I’m lowkey with brog, Naruto’s battle IQ is insane, but he’s just a bum out of it, kinda like Luffy.

Kesendo

Geks, just so you know episode 90 has only a few minutes of canon content starting from 05:43 to 09:48. Also, the website you're using has incorrectly marked episode 112 as filler. It is actually mixed, with the canon scene starting from 13:38 to 19:39.

Doesn’t ep 112 have that scene of tobi? Is it canon, don’t want them to miss it..

Kesendo

Yes it has that tobi scene and it's canon

GooberM

shikamaru has been my favorite character since the chunin exams, and the first time i watched this arc, its only cemented his place as my #1

Stanley Snyder

I lowkey hope they watch first half of ep 89. Shikamaru smile at the end is so endearing 🥹

BeautyWillSaveTheWorld

I just hope they skip everything and go right into Kakashi's chronicles 😂

Lydia

Can you share the filler guide you’re using? Mine just says mixed cannon

BeautyWillSaveTheWorld

It would be great if you could skip some parts in the next 4 episodes and just watch what comes next because very little of it is actually canon. Someone in the comments provided a guide on what to skip, so you can save time.

Lydia

ooo this is nice. thank you! i hope they see the comments

Karlsefni

Geks, Only need to watch 4 minutes of episode 90 - 5:43 to 09:48‼️‼️‼️

Karlsefni

Also only need to watch 7 minutes of episode 112 - 13:38 to the end‼️‼️‼️

Karlsefni

Since episodes 90 & 112 are only 11 minutes of canon material combined is it possible for you guys to watch 113 & 114 in the next batch aswell 🙏. In total (episodes 89, 90, 112, 113, 114) would be 71 minutes - usually the 4 episodes you guys drop on Friday are 80 minutes of watch time so it would be around the same, even less.

Lydia

Thank you for doing the lords work

Sloth

OG Naruto is pretty inconsistent with those things, but go watch the scene where he used shadow possesion on Gaara and Naruto punches Gaara. Shikamaru responds with "Hey watch it when you punch him while I'm using shadow possession you are punching me too". My guess is that in the case of your clip he releases the jutsu before the shurikens reach and they both essentially dodge backwards while one dodges into the wall. Shadow stitching is a completely different skill so not really bound by the same rules as shadow possession and he also uses the shadow strangulation jutsu on Hidan so that they could stab him and cut his head off without him feeling the pain. I think it's supposed to be one of the con's of shadow manipulation that he would also feel the same physical force / inertia as the punches and hits, but I can't really say.

SHIPPUDEN DAY

Lydia

I’m so happy it’s Shippuden Day!!!!

Bambina

I honestly can’t imagine they’d watch an episode and just skip parts of it since it’s not canon but I sure hope they do 😭

G

Me either 😭

G

Manifesting early drop🙏🏾🧘🏾‍♂️

Secretly

Man Friday has become the best day of the week with these Shippuden drops 🙏🏽

Lydia

truer words have never been spoken 🙏🏽🙏🏽

Lydia

I think they did it one time for one piece no?

Karlsefni

They’ve definitely done so for one piece a couple times - haven’t watched to many of the op reactions but Jack is usually on top of things & directs the geks watch through pretty well - Brig has been great with making sure we get a certain amount of episodes to finish an arc properly but unfortunately I don’t think he’s seen the comments of skipping through episodes.

Wondering if I should go to bed as it’s 1 am where I’m 🥲

Bellaa

its fridayyyy

BeautyWillSaveTheWorld

Ngl, it's funny. If we are waiting like this for these episodes, imagine how much we would be camping in comment section when actual peak starts 😂

More Naruto Reactions

Its always us btw we need to start a agenda so these episodes get watched together: 119-120, 130-133, 134-138, 139–143

like wind should be also strong to fire... if you remove all oxygen then there is legit no fire.

Yo Dani

jack stop yapping

Yo Dani

jack shut up with your "chop his head off" you wouldnt have a show if everything was just simple like that. you'd have 10 sec fights with 0 story.

Yo Dani

Shikamaru is from the Nara clan. In Japan there's a park reservation called the Nara park (deer park) which has protected deer.

Kp__

Bro this is so funny, im so behind on Shippuden eps and Cannon looks cooked every single time, guy just wants his bed

itachi813

I'm not satisfied. I'm never satisfied ugh . Hator
