Kite

time for some PEAK

1999

Guess I’ll give this another shot

Kim 555

Grady

This show is arguably the best animated show there is. Actually peak animation and insanly solid story line. Just wait till season 2 so 4-6 literally the most insane animation I have ever witnessed

Cryptcat

Is it going to be 1 episode each drop after this one or is it going to be 2 episodes at a time after this

Mitch

A.G

atseku

a_daichi

I only watched maybe the first 2 or 3 episodes so I’m excited to watch with you guys! I don’t really remember what happened tbh

jessiefungirl

Get ready wake your psyche up mob get ready

VIcK

Yayyyyy

Spoons

Just some background on the show: - It is created by the One Punch Man author (he also does the art for this manga and for one punch man he just does the writing) - Season 1 came out in 2016 - Season 3 which is the last season came out 2022/2023

Kim 555

Oh then I fear this is not for me. I like Seinen animes

E L

🔥🔥

SIIver

I haven’t watched the show either. I literally don’t know anything about it. I’ll gladly watch along.

Nick K

This will probably become one of your guys favorite shows.

yio

Crystal

I know they’ve mentioned watching it but i literally can’t find the vids anywhere 😩

Mahti

Same

kai

guess i’ll finish mob with yall

Dragi

Yessss

jessiefungirl

ngl mob made me forget opm existed 😭

Mitch

After season 3 there are a few extra manga chapters that give kind of an epilogue that are worth checking out imo. They probably won’t ever be adapted too.

Mitch

Anime wise I could def agree.

Enma

Mob Psycho is one of the best anime I have ever seen, it's truly such an incredibly special anime. The amount of care and passion that Studio Bones put into it is absolutely ridiculous. It's important to tell you guys that this story is not centered around the battles or even heavy on the plot. The main focus here are the characters. The characters are the heart of the story, and their emotional growth, struggles, and relationships are what make this anime unique and a masterpiece. Genuinely 1 of 1. 10/10

testing 44u328

that streak lasted from Dandadan ep 3 to Harry Potter movie 7 part 2

Dragi

Give it a shot

Michael H

Cannon: “All of our reactions are uncut, unfiltered—” *Immediate cut* Editor: 😏

jessiefungirl

🤦‍♂️✋✊👋👆🤙🖐 🙄👎"Melt him."

bondbond53

Reigen is the best!!! His VA is Suzaku, Geto, Sasori, Giyu etc.

Grady

Well first off I said arguably the best. And also not even close 💀💀💀💀💀

Mitch

One of the FEW anime where the dub is truly fantastic. Dub reigen is prob my fav performance ever

bondbond53

I dropped OPM but really love Mob

Betsy

For sure, the animation is so unique and I love the absurd humor lol

AvaRISE

Dub is definitely not necessary to understand the humor as it has the same tone as One punch man. The sub is better, though Reigen's VA in dub is great.

studiogek

Looks like I may have been ahead of the curve with the reigen love👀

Red Robin

Reigen the GOAT, Carter recognizes peak

Lari

So glad you guys are finally watching this! I feel like EVERYONE enjoys Mob Psycho despite having different preferences in anime. This anime has something for everybody.

studiogek

We do it was streamed for juicy tier patrons and will be posted for only juicy tier patrons soon

Betsy

I was meaning the humor with Reigen's voice. It's just weird hearing it in Japanese. Because, I love the english dub so much and I personally think it's more funny and extra. And I like Mob's voice in the dub too. But that's just my opinion. It's one of the only instances where I actually prefer the dub over sub. Haha

jessiefungirl

Will the next episodes be on Thursday?

Cryptcat

If we're going by specific episodes, I'd say some one piece episodes, some jjk s2 episodes, some csm, some frieren and some demon slayer episodes have better animation but I agree mob psycho is just so consistent with high quality animation and when it pops off its crazy.

Grady

No way you just said one piece has better animation scenes than mob😭😭 or even remotely close

Grady

I think the new bleach and jjk has arguably the same or better animation give or take really. But no chance I’m taking one piece cgi over either of those

JayCnY

I went into this with an open mind and I'll be honest I do not see the appeal. I'll be watching along with Gek though to give it a fair shake, but considering there are only 37 episodes the first was a bit of a let down.

SIIver

Very true idk man but ima give it a chance.

Kite

I'm so hyped, this show is so fun

Mr. John Kagurabachi

If u didn’t enjoy the first episode, then I wouldn’t watch. There’s a deeper theme that gets unraveled but this is pretty much the vibe the whole show.

Michael H

The character growth is what makes this show peak

Mahti

One Piece and Mob on the same day? Thursday just became the best day of the week

Mahti

Reigen is hilarious don't talk shit about my boy 😤

Hector

Dude I swear I just got bored after like episode 8

Michael H

I don’t know if you guys are still doing the thing where you save the ops for the end of the year, but if not, you should definitely watch it in one of these vids. Like One Punch Man, Mob Psycho openings are bangers and don’t have spoilers.

Hector

There is better animated episodes in one piece bro...

Kyle

I'd be a dub warrior if they didn't change the mc va for season 3 over some bs. I switched to sub s3

Unlucky Trandon

nah he right tho one piece been cooking with some of the latest episodes.

Kyle

narrator goes hard in sub can't lie

Grady

There 1000% is not. One piece cgi isn’t better..not even remotely close not 1 episode out of the 1200+ episodes better than the season 2 ep 4-6 episodes and there’s more I can’t say without spoil

Sam TV

It’s a shame they won’t be watching the intros for this show

AvaRISE

They recently posted what I assume is a part of a session where they watch the OPs of the animes they have reacted to.

Mahti

Mob has fantastic animation but it's not the best, Arcane has the best animation I've seen, and some of the latest One Piece fights are definitely up there.

Michael H

@Sanji Eh, I don’t think I agree with that. The first episode captures the aesthetics and general tone, but that’s not why people love this show so much. Stick with it for a season and see how it goes.

Mahti

It's goofy alright but has well done serious moments in it

Ninjinzo

mob peak 100

Mahti

you did it man!

Kim 555

Alright I’ll watch this one with the geks 😭

Michael H

@AvaRISE Ah, cool, thanks for letting me know. I’m not a fan of that personally since I think OPs should be watched with the shows, but I’m glad they are at least checking them out.

Ninjinzo

dawg stop being a hindsight merchant

Tyler Smith

I know you all save opening but I HIGHLY recommend only listening to the first opening it’ll play a role at some point and would be worth hearing

Kim 555

I’ll give it a shot. Cause my main problem is how my brain is wired with cartoonish looking art, it doesn’t make me feel enthralled most of the time cause of the comedic style washing down the serious emotions

Secretly

One episode is criminal

Secretly

yeah, Haikyuu movie next tuesday

zaphyre

It means stop telling them things in advance

greyxwaren

carter is a cultured man for investing in the reigen stonks

Jude

I’d recommend watching through the whole series with the geks. It just gets better and better

Hannah

As someone who usually doesn't like dub, this one is actually really good! It's prob my favorite dub ever tbh

Mitch

All time great anime character.

Jude

I think they know? They made some comparisons to OPM and saw the Saitama easter egg but not completely sure. If they don’t they’ve definitely can tell the similarities

Diplex

you will come around I think especially if you like dandadan or one punch

Miitei

Mob Psycho 100 was done with sooo much love by the production team and it shows. The story is really simple but so good and with a message too! I love my child Mob 😭❤️ Btw Reigen has the same voice actor as Suzaku and Geto, I know you probably won't notice since they are very different lol I'm so excited for this!!!

Niffol

I'm sure others said, but the mangaka known as "One" created both one punch man, and mob psycho 100. His artwork was really not great. One punch man got picked up by others and the art beautified basically. I had heard with Mob Psycho when they did the anime they wanted it to still have that rough look that One's art has, but obviously... complete?

Qhoa

W

Marlon

these guys will love that one school club

Miitei

You always have w takes 🙂‍↕️

jrnoodles

Thank you! I dropped Mob Psycho during the last season so I guess I'll finish it with you Geks.

Betsy

Agreed. I was super impressed with how good the english VA's sound. And I usually hate the dub with how cringy it can be. Haha

Whyrie

Mob! Mob! Mob! I love the intro lol, glad y’all are checking this out and liking it already!

BigManSirob

The crazy part about this for me is that I remember on Dandadan ep 3 I commented something about Dandadan basically just being horny Mob Psycho and then you commented saying they should totally watch it and then from that day you started asking them every day. I was the inspiration for this whole thing its so crazy 😭

CC

YESSSS WE'RE WITNESSING PEAK

Mahti

fine taste, all of these in my top 5 as well

Hannah

Ikr!! I loved Mob & reigens voice actors, they made the dub sound soo similar to the sub :) I've watched both versions and it's one of the first times I've loved a dub other than dbz/dbs

Marcus D

Let’s go!the show is based on the web comic by the same guy who created One punch man. He says this series is what he wanted to do the most. He goes by the name ONE

peachy af

this is what people did with tsukki. it's annoying. let them watch.

aubrey

PEAK IS HERE YES GODDDDDDD

jblakk

I know why they skipped the intro but that gave me the biggest blueballs ever lol I think mob psycho is a 8.9 on the anime scale. Very good show. But the openers are like 89/10

jessiefungirl

i started bobbing my head and then it cut 💀

Man Lit

The creator of Mob Psycho also made One Punch man

jessiefungirl

the switch isn't as bad as everyone makes it seem

Betsy

Reigen's english dub is what really sold it for me. Dragon Ball Z's is amazing too and one of the best in my opinion. Part of it is nostalgia too lol

Marcus D

Mob psycho is in my top 10 anime of all time and the first anime I ever watched during it’s airing of season 1. It came out in 2016, s2 was 2019 and season 3 in 2022. Hope you guys enjoy something that maybe come a future classic.

E L

he knows whats up

aubrey

I second this!!! in this case the first intro is important to watch

E L

lmfaooo i think we all did

OkieDoritos (Jen)

I was thinking the same thing the whole time lol.

aubrey

aura farming off mobs power... hes so shameless

OkieDoritos (Jen)

Haha. I when he said he liked him I was like Carter knows what’s up

OkieDoritos (Jen)

Absolutely. He is delightful and surprising at times.

OkieDoritos (Jen)

I am so happy you guys are watching Mob. One of my fav mangas and animes. Like others have said you should def watch the ops for this while watching it because they’re amazing but I understand you do that at the end of the year. From all of your reactions I think you are going to absolutely love this show.

Poragami

do we only get 1 episode drops?

Ninaly

Adding to the hype. So happy about this. If you guys liked the first episode you will love the whole show

ginabella

I have Haikyuu withdrawals lol so I'll watch this...

Clover

i was literally searching for your comment, what does it feel like to be a winner? 🎤

kuza

yesss finallyyy

Osiris704

Perfect show to follow up Haikyuu when it comes to character development!

kuza

mobs theme is so damn peak

Nash

RAAAAHHHHHH

vaughn

this whole show is animated beautifully

vaughn

Once they switched Mob's VA in the dub I disliked it, reigen in the dub is so good though

ash

PEAKKK SHOW LETS GOOO.. also one of the few anime where the dub is pretty good, i actually think it's funnier in english lol

Dio

For real, especially for MHA too… wish they’d try the dub at least once for the anime they watch

zak

mob in my top 30 fr a nice lil anime

Conk

And bums tried getting MHA over this 😂

beannie

tbh I got really into the show until ep 5! if you pass ep 5 and still don’t vibe with it then it’s probably not gonna be your thing, but it truly gets better and better!

Diamantes 💎💎🇲🇽

Greatest rage scenes off the top of my head are: Yuji, Gon, Guts, & Mob. If there are more, these are in the top 5

SirCatelot

I know, and people who don't like this show want to shit on it for no reason. This show is fucking awesome and it's consistantly good

a_daichi

This is literally me when I open crunchy roll & it’s not automatically on sub 😂

ash

i love that carter already loves reigen.. man knows what is up

Marsuvies Black

man they had me thinking they were going to do dub I was so hype then they broke me lol

Nash

I need moreeee😖

Zess

You definitely havent seen the one piece animation people are referring to if you think there's such a gap lol but I agree that mob is fantastic. S2 is so fucking good

Ben.

I have Mob in my top 10 so I'm delighted to see you guys react to it. On a side note, will a new poll go up at some point for the Seinen playlist? Code Geass finished over a month ago. I realize that with the holidays and Brigg's wedding, you guys didn't have the time but is there a chance it will return now?

jessiefungirl

never thought I'd see so many dub stans for mob (W MHA dub mention as well)

Luke Fox

Damn, I forgot this show even existed lol

beannie

naaah if ya'll liked ep1 this much, i just know that this is gonna be one of your favorites! i'm so excited, this is one of my absolute comfort animes, and carter being a reigen apologist since the beginning🙏 i know that's right

CHIEF

I really like this show in dub in general, I usually give both a shot and veer towards sub mostly but the dub is great here

Nash (edited)

2026-10-07 09:00 Carter’s a real one for liking Reigen 🙂‍↕️
2025-01-10 07:18

Betsy

Thank you, Ash. I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks that. I don't feel so bad now. Reigen's voice in dub is absolutely hilarious. lol

Jamin

I prayed for times like this

Asbjørn Kennedy

Mob!!!! If you think the show is insane, you should watch the opening, it’s even more chaotic lol Brazenly fast first episode indeed. Glad you guys seemed to like it 🤩

Fatipapi (Byakuya’s Girl)

They did, their Fullmetal Alchemist watch was in Dub. I, for one, hope they stick to sub now lmao

Fatipapi (Byakuya’s Girl)

This is gonna be a first time watch for me tooo!! Cant wait to start tonight, im trusting the hype in the comments 🙏🏼

DonDuh103

Never seen this show the animation is soo good! Cant wait to see the rest with the gek boys.

ooAlmondMilk

I wonder how the rewatch is gonna feel, I really like the show but I cant say I love it like others do, hopefully I can get a better appreciation for it this time around

Quisel

I love Mob so much, I remember watching this in highschool and literally wanting to adopt him lol this is such a fun show and if you loved One Punch Man then you'll definitely love Mob Psycho too. I personally rate Mob Psycho higher though, I have a soft spot for all the characters and the story was just too relatable during the time I watched it.

1999

Is there gonna be a seinen poll or did the comments lead me astray

hugoruix

The ultimate gaslighter appears

Poragami

MHA also has many peak moments, what's so wrong about wanting MHA?

AvaRISE

I agree but I get why they do it this way, some openings can really spoil major plot points of the story.

Maj

I am about to tap into my first mob psycho episode ever, let's see what all this hype is about

Isaiah

LETS GOOO BOYS! I love this show and I'm glad none of you have seen it. I'm sure it will hit some great and relatable emotional beats for atleast a couple of you. Enjoy the journey

Maj

Couldn't be further from what I was expecting 🤣🤣🤣🤣 But I fw the vibe, got a feeling I'm gonna be a big fan of my boy Mob

Keeka 🍰

My first time watching Mob Psycho, very interesting !

𝓓𝓪𝓷𝓪

First time watching this, i'm scared lol but here we go

More Naruto Reactions

Will Cannon who is in Dubai right now be in the Naruto episode drop? I really wanted to see his reaction to these 5 episodes. 🥹

EightNights

this will be amazing!!! let's goooo

Dalton

Mob is gojo

Marcus D

The music is such a vibe too man 😂🥲. You’re in for a good time

G

First time watching , investing in arataka

miuliu

instant dopamine rush when i saw you guys post this!! pls try dub for an episode, see if you like it, i think it’s great and also easier to follow the dialogue and humour

Betsy

For real!

Betsy

No pressure, but hope we get episode 2 today but in dub maybe just for a trial run lol P.S., the Mob community is really fun. It's been nice meeting everyone on here. I love kind hearted Mob and will enjoy watching his journey with you guys. ☺️

miuliu

can’t wait to see more of my volatile baby shige🥺 also reigen’s talk no jutsu is a forced to reckon with, don’t underestimate his power.

beannie

seeing all the first time watchers in the comments is so cute lol😭<3

Amare D.

y'all going to show the new schedule for drops now

Anton Sakshaug (Jancked)

this show is just so fun and enjoyable! let me ask you this Brig, have we ever missed?

Zenah

Can’t believe this won over the other suggestions

M1GZ

easy its the best show on the list lol

JayCnY

I agree I don't see the appeal of this show but it's okay at least it's only 37 episodes

Zenah

Yeah i was hoping for frieren since it will be a new and fresh anime for them and different from all the shonen they’ve been watching

Jeff

Woop Next journey. LETS GO

Albin Limani

The author is One Punch Man, the studio made Fullmetal and My Hero.

JayCnY

I'm basic and voted for MHA I will agree I think the majority of the show is mid. Definitely has some high points, but the rest of the list looked that way too.

Dasha

Reigen is my goat

JayCnY

Is naruto today?

Dasha

When I first met my Japanese teacher, he asked me what anime I liked. I said One Piece is my favorite, and he immediately responded 'what about Hunter x Hunter and Mob Psycho 100?' He was so happy when I ranked both 10/10 haha I already knew Hunter x Hunter is loved in Japan, but seems like Mob Psycho is also considered a national treasure :)

Zenah

Don’t get me wrong. I liked and enjoyed MHA. It’s fun and creative and ment to be watched lightly. And it had some original plot lines that you don’t see in other Shonen. And if I got to choose I will choose it over mob.

Dasha

Carter liked Sanji despite the simping and Reigen despite all the scamming. He's just built different 💪💪💪

Albin Limani

The anime is finished, 3 seasons. And this might be some of the best animation I have ever seen, the peaks in animation this anime reaches are insane. But outside animation the characters are really well written and grounded, considering the world they are placed in.

Zipzzty

YESSSSSSSSS

Lydia

EXCUSE ME that might be one of the best 1st episodes of anime ive seen. the opening scene?? i already LOVE Mob and Reigen too 😭 and how did they make just walking look so epic??

Zipzzty

U got what u wanted goat

rvsty

505

Betsy

Mob Psycho is an epic anime with a lot of heart and humor. That's why it's my favorite. Mob's just too adorable and Reigen's too smooth. Haha

Lydia

yesss im excited to start this!! i may have to watch ahead tho lol

Betsy

It's okay. You can lol Trust me, you're going to love this little gem. The animation is what really drew me in with its unique and striking visuals. I just adore the story and watching Mob's journey with Reigen and their friendship as it deepens.

Cation

LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOO. Studio bones was treating this anime like a passion project, so much love put into it and it's so colorful. Be prepared to be amazed by Mob Psycho 100, worth every penny. The comedy, the heartwarming scenes, the animation and the OST chef's kiss. And... Reigen MVP supporting character. Edit: I see some people are not satisfied with this anime lmao. You have two choices: Watch until episode 3 to 5 and then see if you like the show (in my honest opinion, better story than OPM) or buy table salt from the store and perform a salt splash on yourself.

Kale

Every time the boys start a new show there’s ALWAYS mfs in the comments saying “can’t believe this won over the other options” or “at least it’s only __ episodes” Bro let them watch 😭 if you didn’t like it when watching then either rewatch it with them or just don’t watch other content it’s really not that hard 🫢

neko

nice catch! The walking scene is definitely the underrated part of the episode, the animation is UNREAL

Cation

I am so hyped!! Reigen for life lmao

notchrisramirez

LFGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG GET READY FOR PEAK OF PEAK ANIMATION.

Lydia

i believe you! also the extra af/nonchalant character duo is my absolute favorite in anime so im excited.

Lydia

yesss i love little details like that. also the scene where mob walks further in the tunnel and all the wind blows out. if this was only the first episode i can't imagine how good the animation gets further down.

Yamato

Mob has such amazing animation Im so glad they are enjoying how unique it is

Betsy

You're in for a ride! It might just become your most loved anime. Aww wow that's my favorite too. I also love all the small details :)

Saphira

Studio bones is goated (sometimes). Another recommendation of them: Bungou Stray Dogs. Its Characters based on real life writers having powers that are based on the writers most popular book (like the great gatsby etc.) fighting crime and mafia organizations (who are also based on writers and have powers based on a book. Its interesting to see how the real life of the writers the characters are based on also influence the dynamics of the characters. Currently has 5 (6?) seasons and 2/3 movies.

Fatipapi (Byakuya’s Girl)

The animation style is very unique 😂 i love the colouring, but it also kinda looks like its made by some amateur highschool hobby drawer on Procreate Dreams 🤣 in some scenes you can almost see every frame haha

Betsy

Oh I've been curious about that anime. It sounds so interesting. And since I love to write, I'm even more intrigued lol

Alex

The author of One Punch Man and Mob Psycho (ONE) has a new manga for anyone interested! It's called Bug Ego and it's one of the weirdest/craziest manga I've read in a while XD

#1diavolofan

How many are we getting per week 🥺

Betsy

I can also see the geks liking The Promised Neverland. But season 2 kind of sucked if being honest :-(

CoLdBITeR

I am interested in their reaction to beelzebub anime, it would be wild 😂 kind of similar to the crazy things from dandadan, it's an older one though.

Betsy

Aww love Beelzebub!

Ty

I can’t wait a whole year for reaction to this intro

CoLdBITeR

What if the reason why he explodes is from constantly bottling up his powers? Like what happens to normal people with their emotions?

beannie

istg I can fix him🙏

Red Robin

PLEASE try dub, I think you guys would rlly enjoy it, and I have seen a lot of people say that too

kkcat

One of my favorite animators and director of all time ♥️. I love this series so much.

Kite

dub ruined Fullmetal for them so they'll probably never do dub again, or at least I hope so

FerociousSpark .

That's crazy cuz Fullmetal has a really good dub

studiogek

It didn't "ruin" fmab for us as it still ranks high for us but we do believe that overall the sub wouldve been better but we don't know that for sure. The dub does have some amazing voice actors like Roy that i doubt are better in sub

Sam M

The Promised Neverland is amazing, I'm sure they'd love it. You must be confused though because they never made a season 2. Pity, what could have been

lola

I need the dub community to never speak again pls

AvaRISE

There is a 2nd season though?

Sam M

First time watcher. I'll be honest I'm personally repulsed by the art style and it's what prevented me from watching sooner, but I'll give it another shot here. Not the art during the action scenes btw, that actually looks awesome, just everything else

Frank Miller

the dub for FMA is good, but the sub is better imo. But some anime have a equally good or better dub like Code Geass or Black Lagoon, which you guys should definitly watch

Albin Limani

I don't think sub would make it better for you. FMAB is my favorite anime and I have seen it a lot of times, in both sub and dub, and dub always comes out on top for me when I rewatch. Which is surprising because I vastly prefer sub on the majority of anime I have seen. Mob for example is way better in sub for me.

#1diavolofan

Also I really do hope yall watch jojo at some point 😩

aubrey

seeing some comments talking about dub... the japanese voice acting cast for this show is way too stacked for yall to change to dub. u cant make everyone happy but i really thing dub is not the move for this show imo

aubrey

reigens va takahiro sakurai does suzaku (CG), giyuu (DS), geto (JJK), and a bunch of other fantastic roles im not sure yall have seen the shows for. his english dub voice is great but his japanese sub voice is way too great of a performance to pass up

Michael H

@AvaRISE Very true. Some openings are pretty shameless.

JayCnY

Pretty much my sentiments exactly. For a show that only has 37 episodes the first one really fell flat for me.

Betsy

Honestly, I don't think there's anything wrong with liking dub and sub. I know the Japanese voice actors work very hard and are super talented with carrying their reprising roles but so are the english voice actors. I just thought the guys might like the dub for something a little different. Plus, they can always revert back to sub if they absolutely hate it. With Mob Psycho 100, the dub is pretty good surprisingly. Hope I don't get a lot of hate for this :-( lol

ash

yes like this show is sooo funny when it’s in english cause u can look at the visual humor more because you’re not distracted reading the subs. it’s good either way but i found myself literally laughing out loud when i watched it in english & yes reigen’s VA is goated🙂‍↕️

selena

I LOVE MOB

𒉭

just finished and binged watched season 1 and decided to try dub for the first time since people said it was good and it’s actually great, the comedy was like rick and morty. gonna watch season 2 in sub to compare the two but dub didn’t disappoint, the show succeeded my expectations 10/10🔥

Jenny D

Yeah, the art style is odd. I figured I'd try and give a chance because it seemed similar to Dan.da.dan.

jessiefungirl

nah Sam M is right, there's only 1 season released and s2 has never and will never exist

Jenny D

Hmm, I'm not sure how I feel about this anime. The first episode didn't grab me much. And the art style is a bit odd. But, I'll give it a shot for a couple of episodes.

Jenny D

I watch most of my anime in dub. Mainly because it's hard for me to focus on the action and subtitles at times. I'm not sure why people hate dub so much. It seems like they do a good job with the cast for both sub and dub. But, to each their own. That being said if they prefer sub then that's their choice. We should all watch it in the format we want.

Boi

Sometimes I can't believe people dislike the art style. It's definitely fun and unique and the simplicity of the art style feels like it allows for more expressive and crazy animation. It's a style that's pretty refreshing to me honestly. The art style also improves as you continue watching. This is just simply my opinion! I love MP100 very much and it will always be one of my Top 10. Excited to see more reactions towards more episodes as I think all 3 seasons are bangers 😎👍

Marlon

Every new show the dub beggers come out of the woodwork lmao

jessiefungirl

I'll be honest, back when i watched ep 1 i thought it was weird but it grew on me. I've realized the error of my ways

Pats

I heard them mention Erased 👀 have I missed them watching this?

Reed Stevens

"If you're going to get pork, limit it to two pieces." --> last frame of Mob's bowl with 2 pieces and Regen's with a bunch lmao his rage went up 3%

Rahaf

You won't regret it! Try to watch until the end of season 1 and you'll realize how great the story and the character writing is in this show which is just a preview to the other two seasons. I was also skeptical in the beginning but it's genuinely one of the best animes I've seen!

Keeka 🍰

I searched but couldn’t find their reaction. Does anyone know where can I watch it?

SirCatelot

They had a discord watch party and they reacted to erased there.

Jude

Just to give some context as to why the Mob Psycho art style is different is because ONE the author of One Punch Man and Mob Psycho didn't have any traditional background in art prior to his stories. Even without that though he created One Punch Man which became a major webcomic despite his more simplistic and unrefined art due to the storytelling and characters. I'd recommend giving Mob Psycho another try because I myself put it off for so long with how it looked but the characters and story itself were amazing and the art grew on me. Also the animation goes nuts.

Jude

I mean you're not far off. ONE didn't have any training in art in the traditional sense. He had the passion to write the story for One Punch Man and despite the more simplistic and unrefined art became a major hit due to its story and characters. Murata worked with ONE to do the art for One Punch Man but the art for Mob Psycho is much more akin to ONE's art style.

kiiturii

let's GO finally a show I'm really excited to see your reactions to

G

Liking this show , so glad it’s gonna be MHA after this

2026-10-07 09:00 This right here is one of my all time favourites. I have a juicy tattoo of mob, I just adore him. As someone with borderline personality disorder, I really relate to mob and they way he handles his emotions. One of my top 5 easily. You're all going to adore him I promise, the whole cast even, yes including Reigan. ❤️

Mr. John Kagurabachi

“The dub is actually really good for this show” has been said for every anime they’ve watched haha. (Code Geass and death note dub is actually goated tho 👍)

Azquidif

Literally my favorite show of all time. Really hope you guys enjoy it! Some of the best action and characters with some of the most touching moments. Love this show to death.

Avery Nordbye

Considering it's taking the place of haikyu and they are supposed to be doing the movie Tuesday, probably not until this Thursday

CRIME HAS BEEN COMMITTED IN THIS VIDEO! You did not react to the intro. MP100 INTROS ARE NOT TO BE SKIPPED ON FIRST REACTIONS! Hand over your anime cards.

MissJodles

Guys I am SO excited for you to watch this show, almost as excited as I was to watch your Haikyuu reactions! Trust your viewers' judgement, we gave you this show because it is 100% worth the journey and my praying you guys love it as much as I do. This is a 10/10 masterpiece show for me, alongside AoT, Haikyuu and FMA. All that said, I really hope you guys enjoy the watch!!

MissJodles

Definitely watch until the end of the season. I put MP100 off for years because I wasn't sure I liked the art style or the goofiness, but the insane reviews and super high scores got me curious. And I have to say, this show is LIFECHANGING. Absolutely a Top 5 show. The writing and characters are unmatched.

MissJodles

I felt the same way when I first watched. But the art style really grew on me, so I hope it does for you too. Plus, this is genuinely one of the best anime out there, no cap. It's worth those 37 episodes without question

MissJodles

All you first time watchers are in for the journey of your lives <3

MissJodles

Genuinely can't believe they've watched like 4 of my top anime now, I'm so happy the viewers have been leading the boys to peak.

MissJodles

Only other I can think of is Kaneki (or Naruto (iykyk)), that's the top 5 list right there

MissJodles

Have you seen Mob before? Haikyuu and Mob both sit in my top 5, so who knows you might love it!

MissJodles

All of you guys in these comments who aren't sure but do stick with it, please update later on cos I need to hear your thoughts at the end of S1!

MissJodles

This is absolutely NOT a spoiler for the show at all, but anyone else remember when Reigen won Hottest Anime Woman in multiple polls on social media

MissJodles

I think this is one of the reasons they will LOVE it. They adore the characters in Haikyuu and I think Mob has that same vibe. Except it has the exceptional highs of crazy shounen action and the most incredible animation to grace our screens

MissJodles

Also agree with a lot of the comments in here, do NOT skip the intros for Mob. They’re actually surprisingly important for this show and part of the story’s creative vision, and definitely majority spoiler-free.

Kite

mb shouldn't have worded it that way.

Melly

Omg mob psycho!! So good. And Reigen is HILARIOUS he’s the GOAT honestly.

Quisel

Bungou Stray Dogs is soooo good, I hope it'd come up on a poll one day so I can vote for it

Marwa Hassan

Mob psycho 100 has a lot of similarities to one punch man, but it's 100 times better

Rawaby 1204

They do watch some movies in dub

Rawaby 1204

the dub scared me more than any evil spirit in the show 😂 glad it was a mistake

Pats
