This is a great intermediate anime between Haikyuu and whatever you watch next. It will be a long journey though since it’s 2 eps per week 😅

Emmanuel

ITS JUST PEAK FROM HERE ON

aubrey

if everyone is not special maybe you can be what you wanna be !!!!

cozo

this is nothing so far

Cryptcat

I forget where but I saw they replied to a comment with something along the lines of "When Cannon gets back", so it should be soon🙏

Dylan Roy

to explain the art style, its meant to be an homage to the original author of mob psycho and one punch man "one" whose, for lack of better word, shitty art style still lead to some of the most iconic stories of recent anime. One has no professional art training and honestly no more art skill than the average person, but his webtoons garnished so much attention that they got top class anime and manga adaptation. Mob simply chose to keep the simple designs more similar to the webtoon but that doesn't mean you have to like it either that's just why it looks this way

Cisvo

Any chance we could get two episodes per week?

Miitei

I get what Cannon said at the beginning, I watch almost everything as long as I feel is entertaining, but there are some shows that are hard bc I don't like the characters design, it didn't happen with Mob Psycho tho

Enma

I love when it cuts to a different frame and its just the most abstract yet exaggerated and visceral visualization of a character's emotion. 🤣🤣 Like that whole sequence of Mob drinking that spoiled milk, they didn't need to add that, but it was a creative and funny way to express his discomfort. Small artistic choices/interpretations like that really make this anime so unique to me.

SuperChuckABoo

Yah, I only got a couple episodes into Stampede before i dropped it. I was hoping for an actual adaptation of the manga and they just kinda did their own thing for it. Vash is pretty different from what he is in the manga and the OG 98 anime. I feel like the new anime doesn't really capture the wild west/western vibe of the original anime or manga

Imran

yall need to watch the rest of 86 before i get mad

Imran

also mob psycho is peak

Mysterious Figure

Cannon's stamina this episode: 100% 👌 YES, its a meme at this point. Stay tuned

Grady

10000000000% do NOT do all singles.... please start doing 2 and watch a few in bunches bc some of these episodes are like movies and need to be watched in 1 sitting

DonDuh103

love the animation plus mob is dope.

Flubbedsquid

What they're actually saying when the subs say "get a clue" here is basically the japanese equivalent of "read the room." I prefer that translation because it's a lot less ambiguous than "get a clue." It better shows how the characters are explicitly criticizing Mob's inability to identify with the emotions of those around him, rather than simply calling him dumb or clueless for not catching on to a joke. And that in turn ties into Mob's whole complex about repressing his emotions, which explains why someone telling him to read the room makes him so angry.

yio

huge drop

Marlon

the less detailed art means they can go all in on the actual animation, also just a stylistic choice to make the show look unique

Jamin

I think they already do. They drop one Tuesday and another Thursday

Chosos Wife

Look I adore fire force but I don't think they'd be able to get past the fan service

miuliu

I love reigen, he might be manipulative (which is a trait i actually love in characters, like Askeladd for instance lmao) but he sometimes says things that do help mob, like “you’re the main character of your own life” , “you helped people only you could have helped”

miuliu

I remember watching MP100 for the first time and this episode was the one that really did it for me. I’ve been interested in Mob’s character from the beginning but the whole percentage thing really got me intrigued! Mob is at his most zen/calm when the counter is 0, and the higher it gets the more agitated he becomes (internally, it doesn’t really show on his face), whenever he reaches 100 the emotion that he feels at that moment comes out (in this case anger) and his trash talking lmao “the mask had a trick too? it was so weak i didn’t even feel it” like damn who r u??! whole new person also love the whole concept of mob suppressing his emotions because he suppresses his powers, and love how this episode reveals that he has lived most of his life being scared of hurting others with his powers because it can be dangerous, and we’re talking about a 14 years old kid here which is even more messed up because him being a teen he should be experiencing many different types of emotions and fully feel them rather than locking them away….

Albin Limani

Dimple's VA is one of the best VA's in the industry. Blackbeard, Kyoraku Shunsui, All for One, some of the most iconic villains in anime are voiced by him.

Janina

Yeah I hated it too. They can just skip it. It’s less in the later episodes. I just want some appreciation on Fire Force because it’s so good 🥹

Nah I’d win

You’re right. The official sub messed up there, as almost NO ONE I’ve seen reacting to this moment understood that they meant that.

HikiFan

Couldn't have said it better

SaltyFish

doubles would go crazy tbh

bondbond53

Mob Psycho 100 is one of the greatest achievements of the anime industry in terms of consistent stellar and innovative animation and it is all possible due to the very fluid and sketchy art style. Absolutely fine and understandable to have a preference and simply not vibe with the art style, but I personally rather prefer it and say the animation of the SukunaVSMahoraga and what is possible because of it. Much prefer it to the lights and beams and great detail of say Demon Slayer.

Jenny D

The "LoL" club was creepy! Normal smiles are nice, but forced smiles just make you look deranged. I did like seeing the emotions coming out of him. I'm hoping if he uses his powers more he can also express himself more. Reigan is manipulative, but i think in his own way he does care about Mob. I'm curious to see where things go.

kuza

next 2 gonna be heat 🙌

John D. Acebes

it's funny in a naive way titling this the ultimate crashout. Looking forward to more episodes

beannie

same cannon, when mob psycho was airing I literally didn’t watch it because of the art style😭 now I regret it because this story would’ve helped me a lot when I was younger ngl, but it really grows on you, because of its uniqueness and how much it adds to the humor. it really became one of my favorite art styles mob is such a cutie, dimple said such horrible things to him and all he can think about after is how he ruined some people’s “fun”😭

notchrisramirez

As an all-time OPM glazer: I can confirm that Mob is indeed a better show objectively than OPM. OPM is more so a fun turn your brain off kind of show, and Mob Psycho is more nuanced and better writing imo.

notchrisramirez

Welcome to just the first of many PEAKS and CRASH OUTS of Mob Psycho. Can't wait to see yall's journey with this show.

notchrisramirez

especially a certain one 5 episodes from now...

notchrisramirez

Idk if they will be able to look past all the sussiness of Fire Force. Might be too off putting for them. I hope thats not the case tho...

Zu

Hindsight merchants back at it again

Hector

Keeping track

Ryker

bro stop hindsight merchanting

Cation

This is where this show just gets better and better. This is more than a comedy anime and truly has that "slice of life" plus the amazing animation and OST. The thing I love about Mob is that he has all these amazing powers yet they are not the answer to everything. It get's deeper and I'm sure by the end of it you'll guys have this as one of your favs!

Cation

At what percentage are you at before you hit mad 100%? I better call Reigen to calm you down..

Mitch

Thorkell!!!!

Ladnon

what does this mean? i've alwaYS been curious

Monty

You guys should watch tower of god

aj1294

2 eps drop pls 🥲

Albin Limani

Yes, forgot. He just has so many iconic roles impossible to list them all.

John D. Acebes

I think that noting that mobs going to crashout again is being considered hindsight merchanting. Imo dumb take. No dip he's going to crash out again. No spoilers there. But ppl seem to think that ppl mentioning it is somehow spoiling the watch experience

John D. Acebes

I could be wrong, but the ppl who think this way are getting on a nerve

John D. Acebes

Like they haven't considered maybe there's a percent marker each episode that kinda tells the audience it's going to happen or something 🤔

mina

i would rather they read it. anime didn't do the justice to the story🫤

Cade

the first season is really good imo tho, but yea i totally agree as someone who has reed/watched they ruined it with the second season in the anime

Monty

Reading it is definitely better but I think it’s still worth the watch the story is very compelling

MissJodles

Oh boy this is when the show very first starts cooking. And we're nowhere near done ️‍🔥

kkcat

I love how the Body Improvement club goes back for Mob ☺️ so wholesome

KenpachiKam

Simply cannot stress enough how this literally could be the best anime of all time. It deals with themes that other shows only wish they could scratch the surface of. Every single episode of this show is purposeful, and builds upon each other. I remember being at this point though ang thinking it was silly and just had some cool animation. But oh my god I was so wrong. Truly a masterpiece of fiction you will realize by Season 2 Episode 5.

Alan

The caractrr designs where a bit jarring for me too at first I don’t mind it on the second watch it’s got pizazz

SaltyFish

What does that even mean?

Ryker

it means alluding to something in the future or giving them hints about something that they shouldn’t know yet

roczilla_2000

The story and character development in Mob Psycho are PEAK. I can't wait until you guys see the action, drama, comedy, and heartfelt moments the anime has to offer

MissJodles

SPOILER ALERT This one is for the MP100 fans who have watched the whole show (Gek boys stay away). TotallyNotMark just dropped a 3 hour video “Mob Psycho 100 - The Best Anime I’ve Watched” so if anyone is like me and loves a super long video essay and wants something to watch before next Gek drop, here it is.

MissJodles

Should also note the video itself has spoilers for other anime including Naruto so if you’re not caught up on those either be wary!

Man Lit

Watch the penguin. Ik unrelated but seriously you guys would enjoy it, especially since you like The Batman

Luna Meow

Love his channel need to check this out. Thanks jodies

Luna Meow

I ended up dropping anime. Manga read so killed it for me.

Luna Meow

Love Mob. Show has so much heart, and more depth then I thought.Another one that's going to exceed's their expectations. Couldn't be happier with this replacing Haikyu.

Luna Meow

dude why.....people that name ep ...erk me. You know One of them will see it and not as fun.

Cemelss

the thing about Mob is that you as a watcher will want to protect and keep him safe

Cryptcat

I've just realised every episode after this is straight fire expecially my personal favourites of like 4 5 6 7, I hope its double drops

Marcus D

I forgot how goated season 1 is. Might be top 10 best season 1s of anime

Teaq

It's mob day!

MissJodles

Same here! With how much they love the characters in Haikyuu and the action in their usual battle shounen/OPM this was an obvious choice for them, so glad they're watching it <3

MissJodles

I'm so hyped for the next few eps, they need to start double episode uploads!

Red Robin

fr, these next eps only reach the full potential when watched in succession tbh

jrnoodles

Thanks Geks! Mob's crash out are always a sight to see.

Johnathan Nilsen

Been working out for 4 years now and I would've started so much later maybe not even at all without Mob pushing to improve himself. This series is so simple and funny but is my favorite anime for its depth on mental health and strength.

Shikhar Srivastava

Hi Guys. Mob Psycho episodes 4-5 are still locked for me on Patreon (legacy uncut tier) while they have been released on YouTube already.Same goes for some of the Severance episodes. Can you please look into it?

goldleader42

does the camera lens need to be cleaned or something?

ace

I came back to finally give this show a full watch and BRIG IS HERE OMG
