Jackson Carter

Such a lore heavy episode on 151, I freaking love it 😍 I honestly forgot how much stuff they included in these episodes

Ryker

peakkkk

Zipzzty

PEAK IS HERE

beannie

IM READY FOR PEAK

Mob

@Joey told me it would not be posted within the next hour and I just finished all my food. What a catastrophe :( You are my number #1 op 😡

Marcos
>>165964444

It showed us so many important new characters. I love these episodes where it world builds!!!!!!

Jude

Back again for some PEAK

Nash

PEAAAKKKKK

Mitch

151 was my fav ep of the series at this point. So iconic so many insane reveals and lore. And of course luffys goated punch to end it off is to this day prob top 5 most satisfying moments of the anime. Excited to watch this in the morning!

Zoro’s Enma!

its almost 6am was about to sleep but cant wait until i wake uo to watch this peak!!!!

EspyPlayz
>>165964992

LMAOO same i was just about to go to bed but decided to check one last time and here it was

Zannen Da

They didn’t hear it but Blackbeard said ‘Haki’ when he was looking at Luffy’s bounty poster. Haki means ambition.

Niffol

I believe he means the ying yang twins dichotomy. famous among philosophers.

Jeff

Stoked to see this in the morning.

Hector

The pacing on 151 was just 🤌🏻🤌🏻

Marcus

Alternative title for episode 151: ‘Can we get much higher?’

MrP

So excited to see Brig hyped about the story

Jan

No discussion at the end? 😭

Mauricio

Peak piece doin' it again.

Eiden Porter

Brig I had to hit the 10 sec skip on patreon

kuza

peaaakkkkk

Jan

Have they decided whether to use One Pace for Skypiea?

Zipzzty

Goatbeard is HERE

studiogek
>>165966891

i think most likely we are going to, just like Post time-skip arcs it is gonna help clean up the episodes and allow us to get through it without missing anything important as well.

beannie

jack laughing at those interesting looking characters in the background😭same

Seda

NO OUTRO?!! of all the episodes to not have an outro, 151 is a diabolical choice😭

Josh

LETS GOOOOO I love these eps Just a warning though, Skypiea WILL be gruelling to get through. This is the arc that made MoistCritikal make his video about how boring he finds One Piece to be I hate to anti-hype like this but people keep hyping up arcs that'll inevitably lead to disappointment for the boys. YES, it has some AMAZING moments and episodes but that's all people seem to remember it for. People forget how long this arc is and how slow a large portion of it is. This seems to be a common theme with people's memories of the One Piece anime Basically, the arc takes a significant amount of time to get going, but once it hits its stride it has a pretty great run Some later arcs are genuine peak through-and-through that you won't be disappointed by so there's plenty to look forward to

Fatima

NOOOO why is there no yapping after these special episodes😭😭😭😢☹️

Crimson Fire

Doflamingo has finally been introduced! 😭 Also, would you like to know their bounties? A lot of characters bounties are not revealed in the anime or manga.

Nonos

Damm no discussion when I really needed it for 151. Still fire reaction regardless tho, so much introductions in that episode 😂

Hansen

W episode, see y’all in W7 🫡

Guy
>>165967538

YEAH WHAT DID YOU ALL THINK OF THE CRAZY AMOUNT OF LORE????

Fatima
>>165966698

It was literally THE eps where i was hoping for a discussion at the end the most☹️

ahmad
>>165966891

Yeah, good choice. I know there are some doubters, but I feel like it's only fair for you guys to give it a try for an arc and form your own opinion on it. A lot of people really underestimate how bad the pacing is in these early arcs, and One Pace helps while not removing anything important. Biggest complaint I see are the choppy edits with music, which I never even noticed when I watched it, so I'm curious to see what you guys think.

Mal

The way the world opens up in 151 is so peak. Just a taste of the incredible world building to come! No outro was diabolical though 😭

Mauricio
>>165966891

But my question is, are we gonna get 2 one pace episodes ? I know that one pace put episodes together, but I still want my 50 minutes of One piece, and not just a 20 minutes drop of a single one pace episode because there are 2 "normal" episodes in it. So hype for what it comes!

Niko

HUGEEEE, the world of one piece expands so much in 151 and plants so many little seeds for the future. This is why I was waiting for jaya, its not necessarily a top 5 arc in the traditional sense, but this is when I vividly remember my daily episode pace getting much higher. I got sooo sucked into the world!

Rhettoric

This one might be my favorite OP reaction from you guys so far. Everyone on the couch made me laugh at least once. This is the first type of some of my favorite One Piece episodes throughout the series, and they only get more consistent and elevated as the series goes on. Doflamingo, Kuma, Whitebeard, and Blackbeard/crew are insane introductions to have in one episode, plus the Navy/Government names as well. Definitely an episode worth rewatching if you think you missed anything (names especially). Hoping you guys saved the discussion outro for the end of the arc next episode. (And Luffy would be proud of the Dorito conveyor belt)

Marcus

Carter with the unserious pie guy=Blackbeard call 2 uploads ago 😂🤯

Michael H

No discussion after those episodes? Craaazy

Michael H
>>165966891

@ahmad How bad the pacing is in the early arcs? How did you survive the later arcs if you think the pacing is bad already? Lol

rene

finally getting introduced into some of the worlds big names

Rayanh LaNansha
>>165968109

They might have gone on straight to the next episode and then spoke after that. If that’s the case, I do wish they would’ve uploaded it.

beannie

"the strongest man in the world" will never fail to give me chills ngl, 151 is a masterpiece, i know ya'll probably saved the discussion for the next drop but, now i can't wait for the next 2 eps😭

Rayanh LaNansha
>>165966891

@Mauricio: Good point. The last time they used one pace, the length of episodes dropped had been reduced so that was disappointing because I would’ve hoped they’d watched at least one more episode. @Jack: I do personally believe that you should use the one pace for the second half of the arc and for post-timeskip arcs, but it’s ultimately up to y’all. I’m here regardless

Rayanh LaNansha

About the bounties: a Warlord’s bounty stops rising once they go from regular pirate to Warlord. So the ones we’ve seen now, for Doflamingo and Kuma, are just frozen from who knows when. Same goes for Crocodile’s. His too was frozen.

Jude Rahim

Please y’all I’m itching for some mob psycho

El

151 is PEAKKKK! It’s crazy how they introduced a lot of the characters

Nick K

This episode is probably one of the best in the whole series. When people think of Jaya, this is THE episode. The uniqueness of this fight is that Luffy only throws a single punch but it's way more satisfying than if it was all long and drawn out with a bunch back and forth and different moves. Also I think is significant, is that Bellamy is really focusing on his devil fruit, where as Luffy doesn't even use his power in this fight. He just punches Bellamy with perfect accuracy and enough force to put a god damn dent in his face. Then it's followed up with an insane amount of world building. This is peak Luffy to me and the world you get a tease of is peak One Piece.

Crimson Fire
>>165967452

Yeah, but I think Ace's bounty would be a good time to tell because it was revealed at an exhibition rather than in the manga.

Jackson Carter
>>165968808

Uploading is much slower now with the stream able, but it should be up within the next hour

Jackson Carter
>>165966891

Depends on the length of the One Pace episodes, they look to be 20 minutes mostly but some are 30, I think we will have about 50 minutes per drop as usual

Marcus
>>165967452

No way. right now There’s no bounties to reveal other than aces, and that wasn’t told to us until after hundreds of epsiodes until now.

Nash

No outro after a peak episode ? 😭

Benjamin Knock

No post show talk after episode 151 is criminal. Dropped nearly as much lore as chapter 1138 did

Crimson Fire
>>165967452

If you're talking about Ace's bounty, it was already revealed at an exhibition 7 years before that episode was released, and Ace's bounty does not appear in the manga.

_Wyvernn

Crazy how many big names they just dropped. I also like that they showed Kuma and Dofi's bounties so that the Geks didn't get the wrong idea that all the warlords were as weak as Crocodile with his puny 81m bounty.

Nic_

so many GOATS introduced in this episode. When i first watched 151 i had to rewatch the last 10 min right after cuz they pack so much stuff in there. first of all, Doffys drip is unmatched. So far we know 4 characters in the story with the Initial D. in their name. Monkey D. Luffy, Marshall D. Teach(Blackbeard), Portgas D. Ace and Gol D. Roger, so just something to keep an eye on as the story goes on. The Pirate(Rockstar) who came to negotiate with Whitebeard was a newcomer in Shanks crew, and he had almost a 100m berry bounty, and the fact that whitebeards subordinates didn't even care who he was just tells you the different level of power and influence that legends like Whitebeard and Shanks have compared to rookies like the Straw hats. Sengoku is the main man of the entire navy and the four elders are the pillars of the world government and they essentially oversee everything that is going on in the world(very important figures).

Emily

no post talk in one of the most important eps yall watched so far ???

Nash
>>165970104

What’s crazy is that it’s just their FORMER bounties 😭

Blake

It sucks that Brig wasn't there today hope he catches up

Neant
>>165970121

Carter might got spoiled lol. Moist Critique mentioned Doffy and that arc name in the video glazing One Piece.

DAI

For context, the warloads of the seven sea are government hired pirates who got granted the authority to do anything they want, so basically they are government employees. That's why their bounties are all "former" because the government isn't hunting them thus no bounties. The ammount of "former" bounties displayed was the bounties they had when they got hired by the goevrnment.

_Wyvernn
>>165970104

True, I like that they still don't have any idea how big the bounties get. They were shook with Dofi's 340m bounty which to be fair is the highest they've seen dropped so far.

studiogek
>>165970121

?? I say doofy sometimes cuz it sounds like people pronounce it like that in the anime, I don't know a single spoiler about this series

Marcus
>>165970104

This statement is kind of wild, these are just bounties of when they got frozen. We don’t know how far along in each of the their pirating careers they became warlords.

Marcus
>>165968109

They probably did just that Rayanh. So many of us told them to watch the last 3 Jaya eps together so they probably listened but wanted to keep to the uploading structure.

Solo
>>165970166

I'm guessing they watched 152 right after with the immediate cut and the reactions and talk will be Thursday

_Wyvernn
>>165970104

Your right, I only just realized after reading some of the other comments that the bounties were "Former" I completely forgot that they were frozen when they became warlords. Which means that crocodiles bounty should probably be higher than 81m, but still, I think we both know that compared to the other warlords revealed so far he is quite weak.

beannie
>>165970121

carter has been calling luffy “doofy” since arlong park, you’re trippin

Marcus
>>165967452

I know it was revealed outside of the manga/anime first, but that was after hundreds of chapters and epsiodes had released from where the geks are now. Just leave it be for now.

draeonic 🪼

Bellamy's crew doesn't seem to realize that a bounty isn't an absolute measure of a pirate's worth/fighting prowess. They're just taking the government word (numbers) for gospel and really... what kind of pirate does that?

Neant
>>165970121

Guys I’m just saying Carter watched that upload by Moist Critical. Moist Critical mentioned that name in the video. That name is not Doofy. But if Carter didn’t notice it’s fine.

Amare D.

pirates can't turn in bounty's only marine and bounty hunter btw

Starkfern

I feel like this episode starts a new chapter for one piece because the world just doubled in important characters

Amare D.

and the warlord bounties are froze because they are warlord so they the bounty they had is when they first join and they can't get more bounty becuase they are warlord.

YourGuy

No discussion after that episode is kinda crazy

Ryker

is it a hot take to say 151 is in the top 3 episodes they’ve seen so far personally i only have 126 and 37 above it and maybe choppers backstory

Frozzen Edge

Please, One pace for this arc, so that your one piece experience is not ruined

AV

Been looking forward to this episode. Can't like, I'm disappointed. Honestly don't think I can keep watching these reactions with Jack just yapping the whole time. He's trying to explain, but is just distracting them even more. There should be no reason he should be talking at all during the episode, save what you have to say for end of episode or rewatch and explain. There is 0 reason to keep distracting them by talking during the lore dump. Also no discussion at the end of the episode. I don't think any other reactors have ever done that. Makes 0 sense. If you watched 152 after this, you should have stopped and discussed at the end of 151 anyways, or at the very least dropped 152 as well. Jack should be doing what Cannon and Brig are doing during Breaking Bad reactions, waiting until the end to give his thoughts. No one is trying to watch the only person on the couch who has seen the show yap the whole time. Before some white knights come at me, I would have the same take if say Brig has seen the show and was yapping the whole time. It makes for terrible reactions.

Shaun V

151 IS PEAKKKKKKK. The amount of characters or plotlines that have just been introduced is actually insane. We're up to where One Piece is now branching off into so many different stories within the show, that there's always something happening regardless of what we're being shown. All characters have an ambition and are working towards it offscreen regardless of what Luffy and the crew are up to. On a serious note guys, the discussion for this episode was WAY too long, like could we shorten it a bit. I mean I know we just got one of the best and most information heavy episodes you've seen so far, which is literally the ideal type for a discussion, but the whole 0.1 seconds we spent after the episode ended was just too lengthy. Maybe we could try and shorten that next time

Nonos
>>165971263

Yeah me personally, lowkey 151 is my favorite. 126 and 37 probably better impactful episodes tho but 151 so good and rewatch is just as good, I kinda forget how much stuff is introduced finally.

Ryker
>>165971263

man imagine if they did introduce whitebeards bounty in 151

El
>>165971730

Maybe they watched 152 after this episode, that’s why there’s no yapping. Hopefully. And that’s just Jack—he gets too excited easily, so he can’t help himself sometimes. Let him be.

Markus

Why didn’t y’all talk about this episode afterwards like usual? I wanted to hear what y’all had to say

El
>>165970121

carter probably only watched the viral clip w/o spoilers

Nonos
>>165971263

Yeah Oda knew it’d be too early, he had to save the hype 😂😂

farkzzy

this is just insane on rewatch wow

T

These two episodes are kinda crazy on rewatch. Especially after chapter 1138.

TT1000

So satisfying. Was waiting for that punch. Still good no matter how many times I see it

DC
>>165971263

peak for worldbuilding and expanding the universe by introducing some of the major characters

Marcus

I love how Oda did the Blackbeard reveal. Introduced us to the whole crew separately in the first episode on Jaya and had luffy harmlessly beefing and sharing the same beliefs with the implied-to-be-bad guy his brother has been hunting to capture this entire time, all unsuspectedly. It’s also worth noting that out of all of the routes you can take on the grand line, Luffy and Blackbeard started their individual pirate journeys on the same one…

psychotaco343

Ep 151 just open up so many storylines! Thank y’all for the grind much appreciated.

Ante

If they watched 150/151/152 together then the discussion/thoughts are probably at the end of 152 (Thursday's vid). My guess anyway.

psychotaco343
>>165971730

Bro wasn’t even explaining that much. Everyone was asking questions and Jack didn’t spoil anything, he just said “I don’t know”. It seemed they got lost in the dump anyway a lot of information, even Brig got a lil confused who Blackbeard was. Also they probably didn’t have time to do a outro talk. They busy having to go on to the next show?

Marcus

One of my favourite moments still to this day is luffy going from a menacing face raising his bloody fist, to his normal non-chaluant face pointing up and saying “the sky” ✊🩸☝️👁️👄👁️

Trznk

i love the World Government lore 😈 the lore in general in this series is so good. The depths that this show goes into is UNREAL. Also crazy how far back we were introduced to the 5 Elder stars. theres so many layers to be peeled im so fking excitedddddd

Marcus
>>165970789

The type of pirates who get one punched by a scrawny 5’8 dude who didn’t want to fight in the first place.

Marcus
>>165970104

I disagree, I think crocodile is around the same level as most of the other warlords, but let’s stay away from that topic for now.

Fatipapi

YEAAA let’s fucking go

Marcus
>>165970104

@McKay Carter, Oda really puts a lot of thought into his story and treats it like it is it’s own real existing world. It’s fire.

Jonesy

such a good episode. where the outro at

Fatipapi

Bellamy looks like a blond Chucky

Sid

well that ended abruptly...

Marcus
>>165968077

Yeah, it was in the 146/147 upload, either when Bellamy passes Blackbeard to go into the bar or after Blackbeard’s speech when he and luffy are parting. Crazy call.

Qhoa

W

Fatipapi

“Oh?? LeBron???” When they showed that little goat w Sengoku 😂😂😂😂

Fatipapi

Nahh this outro cut off was illegal 💀

wanira 11

There are a lot of satisfying punches in One Piece, but this one still remains one of my favourites. Just the impact of it alone, man's face was dented lmao

Nope

Thats the one episode where we needed an outro

Marine Piece!!!

I love the Navy, man. Good characters getting introduced: Fleet Admiral Sengoku is him, and Vice Admiral Tsuru. And Doflamingo and Kuma so peak 🔥

kivu_king

151 is probably the best episode thus far

Trznk

Please use ONE PACE FOR NEXT ARC! 😭 no need to suffer through toei’s dragged out 42 episodes. You guys already were haunted by the southbird hunt in the forest - much of the drag in skypia is similar to that

brog.

"i'm tired of 50 episode arcs lowkey" oh no

brog.
>>165982822

one pace for post timeskip. really not necessary before then.

Trznk
>>165971374

Fr I remember watching this arc after reading it in the manga and was seriously disappointed with how they dragged it out in the anime. In the manga the arc felt more lore heavy I guess cause more emphasis was placed on the lore. But in the anime I felt like the fights had more emphasis that was unnecessarily dragged. I enjoyed Robin scenes the most

Trznk
>>165971263

I would say so far yes but would not be possible without the context of all the previous episodes laying the foundations. This episode in itself lays foundations for far more future plot points to develop. It’s definitely one of those episodes that gets u excited for what’s to come & reminds you this world is living & breathing with interesting developments taking place outside of the strawhats adventure

brog.

🐵☝️

Danil

No thoughts/analysis afterwards for an episode that everyone would clearly want that. Jack not being able to control his emotions, confirming things before they're 100% revealed or accidentally showing his bias of what's more important and what's not instead of everything naturally playing out for the newcomers. Randomly eating crunchy snacks with it all going into the mic during a scene. Guys, what is this? Indifference is the worst form of hate. This isn't about liking One Piece or not, It's about respecting people's time. The quality in the 'effort' you guys have for the reactions has overall gone down.

Trznk
>>165982822

These guys would defs enjoy one pace more tho. There is really no need to watch non canon dragged moments in skypia, these guys are definitely gonna suffer and will take longer for them to reach peak.

Trznk
>>165984179

But they are enjoying it more and it can be hard watching early one piece. But yea I defs wanted that discussion at the end tho ! I reckon if they switch to one pace next arc things will be less of a sleepfest

Luca

yall just ignoring the no outro comments, most of us were looking forward to the discussions for this particular episode, cant lie pretty disappointed

Luca
>>165984179

This is why they shouldnt watch 8 shows at the same time and blame it all on that, like bruh i couldnt imagine keeping up with 8 shows at the same time, wheres the common sense

Marcus
>>165981978

Read below, they already said yes and they’ve used it before

brog.
>>165984179

This is the second one piece video in a row where I’ve read one of your comments before seeing the name and thought about how badly this person needs to go outside. Read the way you are typing here. Does that look like normal behavior to you? You can express concerns in a normal way as many others have regarding post episode discussion but the way you type and the overblown Jack hate is not normal. It ain’t that serious champion.

Mahti
>>165975165

really hope so, very interested on their thoughts with all the lore drops

brog.
>>165984179

and if anyone thinks I’m being dramatic go ahead and read this guy’s comment on the previous one

Fatipapi
>>165982822

HAHAHA i thought the same thing when he said it 😂 “welllllll 🙄”

Mahti
>>165971730

didn't have time for outro? gtfo bro 😂 no way they don't have 5 min to spare after such a huge lore dump

Luca
>>165984179

hes dead on, were paying for a service and that comes with certain expectations for quality, i was literally thinking wtf am i paying for when watching this

Mahti
>>165964444

Jack can you make sure that we get your thoughts on the lore drops this episode one way or another?

brog.
>>165984179

He’s not dead on at all. If you think you aren’t getting what you paid for then don’t pay for it. The no post discussion complaint is valid but acting like the other things are somehow wasting your time or money is just complaining.

adabkooo
>>165984179

Yeah this is just weird criticism for the most part. "Jack stop having fun!!" "Guys stop eating!!" 😭 The only thing that's fair is the criticism about the lack of outro, but even that's not a big deal. If they didn't feel like talking, then so be it, at least they're honest and not rambling about bs just for the sake of talking.

Neant
>>165984179

Chill. Let’s see why no outro. I’ll wait for the next upload for the answer. Ofc if it’s the worst case that they just don’t want to spend time discussing I’ll quit. But if it’s bcs they watched 152 directly after 151 but due to time concern on editing uploading and hold back 152 I think it’s fine. But hate on Jack is insane. I like his passion for One Piece and let’s appreciate that he did all the editing for One Piece.

Gilster

They cooking yall again btw

Luca
>>165984179

The other things are just added on top, they could at least adress why theres no outro, is that too much asked? Seems like it

JeanJean
>>165984179

Rarely even seen such an overreaction lol. All these points are at most mild disturbances. It's comments like these that turn internet content and shows into generic insincere slop. What you want in reactions is sincerity. Most reaction channels come over as insincere because of dumb comments like these, and I can't blame them. If Jack wants to say stuf or if they don't want to comment at the end because that's how they feel like, then that's how it is. I prefer this a thousand times over them forcing themselves and not enjoying themselves, ruining the moments were they actually do. Reaction channels are typically the kind of things you never want to see get too professional or formal.

Amare D.

Yes, brig white beard is tall af he's 21'10 lol

jrnoodles

Thanks Geks! Bellamy got clapped! Also, crazy amount of lore drop.

cozo

The lore on 151 is absolutely peak... Marshall D. Teach

Olive Branch
>>165984179

This whole "you need to go outside" or "go touch grass" is not necessary. you can agree or disagree with a comment without the fan defensiveness or bullying tactic. Is it a crime to watch a reaction and comment on something you like or don't like. I may not agree with what Danil said and that should be ok. People work and have a level of service expected of them so they earn money to pay Patreon for entertainment, is it wrong if they also expect a certain level of service. The Geks can choose to take action on a comment or not. You have no idea how much grass people make contact with daily. This could be the only available time they have for entertainment and hence voice their opinion. Some people love the geks and want to fight for them but that is no reason to pressure people into only having positive opinions in fear of being scorned.

Luca
>>165984179

Exactly, watch hes gonna refer to how many upvotes hes got and how everyone agrees with him. The original comment wasnt even bad or super aggressive. Most people are just sheep.

Neant
>>165984179

@Jeanjean saying never want to see reactions channels be formal or professional is wild. I’m not saying they should be formal, style like Gek here is also very good. But I also love channels that get good background settings, good mics, making opening videos, get invested, even taking notes for big lore drops and prepare for discussions. The attitude of doing all these is already a form of “sincerity”. Compared to a channel for example lay on bed looking at phones, and immediately turn off the video when episode ends, you think the latter one is more sincere? Such a disrespectful comment on those who work hard.

Amy M
>>165984179

Totally agree with you, I think the amount of shows they are watching is too much. Would be nice to spend more time focusing on a few shows instead of watching so many at a time. Might help them upload things on time too. Quality over quantity.

Flubbedsquid

Love Episode 151. Master worldbuilder Oda is finally beginning to show his power.

Mitchel

Bozos and clowns in the comments hating on the goat. The geks are always eating snacks during their reactions. And if you watched alabasta and little garden without One Pace you don't need it for Skypiea. The people telling you to aren't real One Piece fans, they're just ban wagoners who started watching in 2020.

Ari
>>166036751

They were actually frustrated when watching Little Garden lol. Watching Skypiea with One Pace is a must because nothing of the original story is missed

GreetswithJudgement

I’m cracking myself up picturing Mitchel with his deathnote writing down every Gek name all epically in the dark of the night with only one lamp on. But Jacks name is written first for some reason 😂

Brig Andrus

Whoever it is that’s being a rat in here I have two words for you. “Later bud”

Mauricio
>>166183978

And it's written in the original form, godforbid if its pace diferrently from the og filler that some studio put in there to avoid catching up with THE real piece of art that is The manga, not the anime. Poor guy, he was crashing out hahaha.

beannie

don’t worry geks, I’m taking mitchel to the vet today to put him down❤️

Mauricio

Rewatching peak piece while waiting for the Naruto drop. Absolute cinema 🫡
