I get people upset about ep 5 but realistically that ep doesn't provide too much story wise for the rest of this season as long as they go back and watch it later they'll be good whenever we get back to that storyline

I think a lot of the budget goes toward the VAs, but I imagine something could be done to make the animation better. However, the animation doesn't bother me like it does others, but I can some of the complaints. I'm more bothered by certain character/pacing elements, but that's about it. As for episode 5, I imagine it's setting the stage for future events.

if you look at the season 2 teaser it foreshadows the eve special (eve and the doctor guy are in the background) and it looks like the season 3 teaser foreshadows a rex special (rex and cecils old boss are in the background)

The gap between season 1 and 2 was pretty large tbf. The trend of making those deadlines is common and unfortunate, but I imagine there are other issues at play. With western animation, you don't get the animators being worked to death as much as with anime either.

Yes it’s not as bad as anime… however we are talking about Amazon, one of the greediest companies in the west. They don’t treat them like how castlevania treats it’s staff. Amazon is absolutely the type of shit company that forces them to over work and rush for a release

The show's power scaling is all over the place. Why would Mark hold back when he's on the brink of death and his teammates are being killed? In Season 1, he stopped a meteor, but now he struggles to one-shot a street-tier villain. The same issue applies to the ReAnimen. They seemed much stronger in Season 1—Omni-Man himself had trouble with them, even older versions of them. Even though Mark has gotten stronger, he's still weaker than Omni-Man, yet the Guardians were able to take out some ReAnimen relatively easily. Since when were they stronger than Omni-Man? Makes no sense.
