Shadow

Stand ready for my arrival

Ladnon

The peak

Aaron

YESSSS!

Alex Ramirez

The intro did not age well lol but I'm glad to see the reaction

Liptrouski

My nights sorted. Cheers boys

BROCODEDUDE

Double Invincible before Breaking Bad is crazy. 😭🙏

Alex Ramirez

The Invincible War is unfortunately 10 times better in the comics because it was a huge crossover with a ton of Image Comics heroes. They had Spawn kill one of the Mark variants.

Shadow

I mean it was one floppy issue and most cameos just a single panel

WhynefineT

You were given time You were given orders You were given more leeway than most and I found you prepared. Good job geks

Frosty

filler?????????

Alex Ramirez

They were cracked panels. Usually 2-4 panels

Shadow

I mean now we arguing inches lol. Just saying ain’t no way it’s “10 times better” that’s just wild. But yea the the lil cameos were cool. Very comic book

Alex Ramirez

Midmortal: "I want to retire and start a family with Kate" My glorious king Rexsplode: 💣💥

Qhoa

Alex Ramirez

R.I.P Business Baby, your parents shouldn't have sent you off to war.

Philbo

before i start this reaction lol i just want to put this out there cause you guys were kinda getting jumped on the other video Saying marks stock has dropped tremendously was kind of crazy cause he character in my opinion has only gone up since season 1 and Carter lol - Calling mark a bot was kind of insane as far as the Mark vs Cecil (and i guess allen lol) debate - im team mark - i do completely understand both arguments and the entire situation shouldve been handled differently on both ends. BUT i do believe Cecil didnt necessarily try to get mark to understand why he is still using Sinclair and Darkwing. He instead tried to gaslight and strong arm him into accepting what he was doing by bringing up Angstrom (which even he knows is not even remotely the samething) and Also saying he is helping Nolan which also wasnt even the case either.

Goldyz

Half this show is filler, idk why 5 got skipped

alexis ♡︎

i’m so lonely… take it to your grave. on everything i love, after that dialogue, i turned to my bf giggling like a freak and i was like, “wait i think i love him” and he called me a psycho by association but i just CANT HELP IT I LOVEEE 😭😭

Shadow

“I wouldn’t even keep you as a slave in my empire” is one of the funniest things in this show lol. And steven yeun is a goated voice actor “Big-ass beatdown coming up” into getting the shi slapped out of u is the best tho😂

Cannon Andrus

Mark is so circular it’s crazy.

Alex Ramirez

To come to Jack's defense. Viltrumites DO have to hold their breath in space. We got a meme out of Omniman saying it in season 1 "That's the neat part, you don't."

Shadow

Duplikate is like Naruto shadow clones if every time they died it was full gore 😂

nocomprendo

why would you skip ep 5? You "heard" it was filler? The events of ep 5 are gonna come back later in the story you're gonna be so confused. its not like the season had 100 episodes....

Prince

LFG BEEN WAITING FOR THIS

Alex Ramirez

I just finished the full reaction. To answer the last part Carter talked about: we ended off season 3 of Invincible on issue 65 out of 144. That's roughly 45% done with the story. I think we're only getting 7 seasons max.

Dreamknight942

The answer to some of your questions about eve are in the atom eve special. Definitely worth a watch, you get to see a lot of imaginative use of her abilities.

Nash

Icchi

No episode 5 is diabolical… this ain’t a mid show in the slightest, peak all the way through. Skipping any episode is nasty work. None of the mid Severance episodes were skipped 💀

Alex Ramirez

He definitely had the best reaction to episode 8 lmao. I was worried his eyes were gonna fall out of his head.

Conk

I dropped Severence after that one episode 2 episodes ago

Liptrouski

They do hold their breath in space, covered when mark first meets allen. Mark and conquest were not supposed to pant in space ahahaha

Shoelace Ace

The Invincible atome eve special episode goes into more detail about the origin of Atom Eve and her parents. You guys should watch it.

alexis ♡︎

sinister mark by far had the best drip but omni mark was probably my fav cus his hair was fire, the omni drip was fire, and i feel like a lot of the marks were like obtrusively crazy and/or evil but he had such a calm and almost mean energy to him, plus i really liked steven’s voice for him. also really liked the mommy-missing mark’s costume design with the full face mask.

Alan

Yuion

Literally listen to the first 5 seconds of the reaction xD

JayCnY

to be fair if they knew how mid and short the cobel episode was they would have skipped it. Literally summarized by saying she created severance lol

JayCnY

it was really bad though

traplikemaxxx

I really don’t get how Carter thinks Cecil is just completely in the right and Mark has no reason to be mad at Cecil lmao

Bob Loblaw

That was upper atmosphere not outer space

nocomprendo

i personally loved ep 5, i feel like the only reason its disliked (especially here in the comments) is because it noticeably had the worst animation of the season.

WhynefineT

and that'll be cecil's worst mistake of his life iyky 👀

Grimm

Viltrumites hold their breath when traveling in space. They can hold their breath up to 2 weeks. Which people have asked why didn't Mark travel to another planet when he was stuck in the desert dimension because he doesn't know the nearest planet to catch his breath.

Grimm

I will also say not giving Mark more credit than he deserve is wild. He also had to worry about Oliver and Eve. He also was nerfing himself because he didn't want to kill which is why he said at the end he will kill with no hesitation for now on.

Grimm

You guys also have to watch the Atom Eve special it is really good.

Comments in the Louvre

I gotta be honest. I think the final episodes of season 3 are a little overrated. They are really good episodes but IMBD having them at 9.8/9.9 out of 10 is a bit much.

Alan

I think the other invincibles are so weak because they really haven’t had the need to get stronger. Our mark has been preparing for the viltrumites to invade but all of the other marks sided with the viltrumites so they’ve been on the winning side this whole time

Juicy D. jaloomba

55:25 Dang it jack, what’s this about cold pizza being better than warm pizza? 😩

Comments in the Louvre

Favorite Episodes: 1. Season 1x8 2. Season 3x8 3. Season 1x7 4. Season 2x4 5. Season 3x7

hajurcan

This isn’t anime boys there’s no filler y’all gotta watch episode 5, shouldn’t skip an episode because you don’t think you’ll like it, it’ll tie back into the story. I mean I personally wasn’t a fan of the mars plot in season one but look how much of an impact that’s already made

Justin ⟢

Yeah my jaw was on the floor during the whole of 3x8, it was insane

Tim Carpenter

I gotta say I think you got tricked hard. Episode 5 isn't filler like anime filler. I wouldn't even say it's filler, plot happens and progresses.

Kale

Yes it comes back into the story but not until like mid next season 😭 which HOPEFULLY is more than a year away so they got time

Kale

Are you saying you dropped severance after the episode you literally see mark and Gemma’s back story in? 😭 arguably one of the best directed episodes in the show?

Kale

They’re apparently exploring an original idea for the show next season with mark and Damien dark blood so 8 seasons is def possible too

Kale

Unless you’re some MASSIVE spawn fan it’s really not better at all in the comics 😭 if anything the show version is better cause you get amazing voice acting for the whole thing 🤷‍♂️🫢

mal

there is no filler you have to watch every episode. this isn't like anime guys lmaoo

mal

we lost the meaning of what filler actually means

Nrock23

I swear every reactor expects Mark to be perfect. I don't get the hate

Conk

They always expect Mark to treat villains like Nolan treated Mark when they fought lol

Conk

It not being a 10 out of 10 is a disgrace!!!!!!

Brig Andrus

Peak all the way through is insane 😭

Nrock23

I was watching YaBoiRoshi too and only roshi had some naunace when watching it. Realizing mark is 19 and not perfect. Also he’s a young viltramite

Conk

Lupa got cooked in the comment section on patreon so bad the comments ratioed the likes

McKay Carter

We didn’t skip because we don’t like it, read the earlier comments 😂

Philbo

man you guys DO NOT like mark at all lol which is fine cause thats your own opinion but damn - giving mark damn near 0 credit for how much work he put in to the fight - saying he was "bailed out" by eve which is not even the case since he still needed to be the one to take out Conquest even after eve's attack. she definitely greatly assisted him. Nolan coming and taking over and finishing the fight would be mark being bailed out. - saying eve was putting in more work than mark when ALL of her attacks were doing absolutely nothing to him aside from keeping him briefly occupied.

Philbo

he did on twitter as well cause he then doubled down on his perspective lol (i also joined in the cooking)

Spideycain

Sorry guys but jacks right viltrumites can old they breath in space for two weeks it’s confirmed in the comics but mark was breathing in space that time i guess they still was in the atmosphere ? But either way yeah lol

Kyle

I didn't care too much for ep 5 but I just wanted to see Carter's reaction to a scene that happens iykyk

studiogek

I never said this and explicitly stated in these videos that it’s not black and white

Shadow

Yea that was weird

Comments in the Louvre

Great episode just not a 10. Funeral was weird especially since the only emotion we see from anyone is Eve? Post credit stuff was eh. Conquest vs Mark-Oliver-Eve… PEAK

TheSauceGuy

Invincible can't keep getting away with it! He can't keep getting away with it!

Bernerrr

You guys should watch Invincible: Atom Eve Special, also on prime video. It goes into Eve's past and how she got her powers.

jeekolo

Rudy is my least favorite character. I don’t get how more people don’t think he’s weird af.

TheSauceGuy

I feel like you guys should go back and watch episode 5, even if you don't upload it.

TheSauceGuy

Are you guys joking about the animation? It's not perfect, but a lot of season 1's animation was terrible in comparison.

Ram.

Guys there is only 1 Angstrom with abilities. He told you this in the first episode you meet him in S2. He has the teleport power from our Mark's universe. He gathered all the multiversal versions of himself, who didn't have powers, to connect them to the mind machines he made, so he could download all their knowledge, remember? There is only ONE Angstrom in the multiverse with teleport powers, he killed all the other Angstroms without powers and has all their knowledge. IDK why you and so many creators forgot this and thought there was another Angstrom with abilities from another universe lol it was clear that wasn't the case.

Icchi

It is. There isn’t a single moment or side plot that doesn’t add to the overall peaks of this show. No wasted content.

TheSauceGuy

Jack, the Angstrom we know was "mad" because his mind is merged with all of the other Angstroms. In all or almost all of the realities, Invincible becomes a villain in some form, with or without his father. The Angstrom from our Mark's world has had his memories drowned out by the hundreds or thousands of others, whom all suffered under Invincible in their own realities.

WhynefineT

Nah im playing I don't know what happens lol

Mysterious Figure

Cannon, this beard at 1:46:00... are you sneakily trying to make me watch Invincible? - a show I don't actually like... because if you keep this up, I might start having a really tough time resisting 😉

Ninjinzo

well his character is meant to be weird. He never had to have emotions as most of his life he was a robot. He aint my favourite character but i can see where his 'weirdness' comes from and it makes sense.

Belly

why haven’t you guys watched the atom eve special? it’s her backstory.

jeekolo

I see. I think him having a body already before and then also stealing Rex’s DNA and name just left a weird taste in my mouth. He is trying his best now, but always has been off putting to me.

Lenny Wikberg V

They’ve mostly evacuated the city cause of the invincible war

Kale

1:20 Cannon it was NOT "just her leg" she got her head slammed into asphalt hard enough to shatter the ground like 40ft away :/ she put a tiny weak ass shield down last second but it only covered where her back hit so she absolutely got insanely concussed at the least

Bean

Brig is marks #1 op😂😂

Mason Schutz

Is lowkey kind of crazy how the show is in English and so short, but people somehow manage to retain even less when they don’t even have to read anything subtitle wise 😭

Mysterious Figure

I guess you havent mastered "that" forbidden jutsu just yet. 😂

Nathan

If you dont understand what Eve is talking about the blockers you'll have to wwatch the Atom Eve special episodes going over her background

Jmann

These last 3 eps were PEAK

Jmann

I’m glad you guys posted this 🔥

Jmann

Why’s brig such a hater 😂

Jmann

…Hawk. Two

Jmann

Spot on

Jmann

Yeah their takes were horrible

Jmann

Hopefully LESS than a year 😭

Jmann

🔥 I 100% agree

Jmann

Valid but I don’t think the funeral scene is really enough to tank the score like that. The action and dialogue up until then was 11/10.

Jmann

Please enjoy each episode equally🙁

Conk

NOT EVEN THE CASE??? I agree he did a lot but he stood no chance against Conk and was going to die if it werent for Eve. And tbh Eves singular attack really did more work than all of Marks combined 🤣 Most of his damage to Conker came after Eves attack. Mark is still the 🐐but facts are facts.

Philbo

did i say he didnt need any help? no, Eve greatly assisted him in defeating conquest. they wouldve died without each other as they both stated in the hospital. but he did not get bailed out. Getting help and getting bailed out are two completely different things

Osiris704

McKay be smiling through it all lmao. He loves that stuff. There’s not a show on their Patreon that I’ve seen where he wasn’t like that

Golden Pants

You're splitting hairs over wording. Fact of the matter is Mark would have been low-diffed without Eve. As long as we all agree on that I think we're good.

Golden Pants

I mean, he doesn't have a valid reason to be mad at Cecil. Cecil's decision to use Darkwing and the reanimen saved the planet at least once. Arguably twice. Which is crazy for such a short time frame.

Philbo

like im so confused why this point is being so nitpicked right now?? like i said she GREATLY ASSISTED him and like BOTH EVE AND MARK stated in the show they BOTH would have died without EACH OTHER.

Golden Pants

The amount of cognitive dissonance it takes to defend Mark is actually crazy. "I do believe Cecil didn't necessarily try to get mark to understand why he is still using Sinclair and Darkwing". Dawg he tried literally every explanation he could, including: "You don't waste people like that, you use them." "Darkwing went crazy from fighting endless crime in midnight city." "They went through heavy psychological reprogramming." "Let them repay the heavy debt they owe to society." Mark ignored all of that and crashed the fuck out lmao. Followed Cecil across the pentagon while making threats. Started tweaking and screaming "You're scared I'll blow the whistle!" while punching the reanimen's heads off. And once the fight was over? He throttled Cecil and threatened to kill him. I don't know chief, seems pretty black and white to me.

Osiris704

Conquest dogged out

Golden Pants

I mean, for a show that has the insane budget that Invincible does, the animation is bad. There is like 2 total minutes of good quality animation in the whole season. Everything else is just bland as hell. Lots of scenes are just a character being slid/rotated across the screen without actually being animated. It's not the animators fault though. I imagine they were rushed, and I don't imagine they hired many high level animators. So they did the best with what they had. But goddamn they need to spend more of the budget on animation and less on Hollywood voice actors.

Philbo

all mark literally wanted was for both Darkwing and Sinclair to be punished for the shit they did ESPECIALLY Sinclair. did he want them dead? no. he was told one thing and something else completely happened and were given jobs instead and allowed to live life. even in Cecils backstory, he himself got punished for killing those 2 criminals that his boss turned. and you're also excluding the fact that 1. he was also constantly telling him to go go home and then he attempted throwing angstrom in his face which mark was quite literally forced into that situation but he tried using that gaslight him. Also, was tricked into meeting with nolan and then forced into helping since the Viltrumites were invading them. he didnt willing go there to help nolan 2. crashed out? the most mark did was walk into the pentagon and into cecil's office, lightly slammed on cecil's desk while he was raising his voice. according to cecil that was enough to immediately lead him to the white room. he made 0 actions leading anyone to believe he was going to attack cecil. MAKING THREATS??? what threats?? when mark asked him what threats he is making, his response was "you are scaring the shit outta me right now" which just because you are in an uncomfortable position doesnt mean you are being threatened.. and he followed him because they were HAVING A CONVERSATION? the situation was then escalated cause he lead mark into the white room and immediately brought out the reanimen which is one of the main reasons he was there mad in the first place. he started tweaking when the reanimen grabbed him then got even worse when cecil showed he had that device in his head. "you're afraid ill blow the whistle?", "you dont think they dont already know what were doing here?" cecil saying that is so damn funny cause as soon as mark brings up to the guardians they 1. have no idea what he is talking about 2. would like to hear mark out only to be immediately shutdown by cecil "this isnt a democracy" its also pretty funny that when cecil asked for the reanimen to be shut down 2-3 times, did they shut down? no they didnt.. so who knows how much actual control he has over the reanimen and after that point cecil 1000% deserved to be threatened and he was then let go. Now when mark came back and BROKE INTO the pentagon, bro was definitely tweaking while i do get how he assumed the Drone camera was his. he was doing a little much. like i stated already, they both couldve went about the situation differently. it definitely didnt need to be escalated as far as it did. i blame both of them for it getting to the point that it did ive typed way too god damn much and im not here to convince you when they both are right and Wrong

EFFect_Phantom

You guys should definitely watch the Atom Eve special that came out before S2, at least on your own time! It gives more insight Eve's background and her abilities, and some of your questions would be answered there.

TheSauceGuy

I'm not saying it's good, but it doesn't bother me to look at. Something like Code Geass bothers me to look at, but everyone has different preferences, ofc.

TheSauceGuy

what are you talking about

TheSauceGuy

There was a large gap between seasons 1 and 2, but the pacing/subplots are kind of all over the place in this show as well.

TheSauceGuy

You make it seem like Angstrom intentionally killed them. He just took off his headset or whatever to help prevent Mark from getting killed by the Maulers, because he didn't want to "build his utopia out of blood."

Ram.

Yeah of course but they still all died fusing into one.

TheSauceGuy

I thought about them panting as an instinctual reaction, but they still can't breathe. It's probably some sort of oversight, but it is a superhero show, so it essentially requires suspension of disbelief. If they are in space, they shouldn't be able to make sounds in the first place, but that obviously introduces a lot of limitations.

Rumaki21

You guys have to watch the atom eve special.

Comments in the Louvre

If you said Season 1x8 was a 10/10 episode I would get behind that. The dynamic of father son fight. Mark learning that Nolan killed the Guardians and isn’t the person he thought he was. Us as viewers getting the reveal of who Nolan really is and the purpose of the entire tv show. Season 3x8 does not have those layers to it besides Mark getting full rage once again like in (2x8) and mushing the character’s face that’s trying to kill his family.

Kim 555

Oh so yall did not watch the Eve Special... heh

TheSauceGuy

McKay, why do you hate Angstrom so much?

TheSauceGuy

Yeah, you guys should watch the Atom Eve episode along with episode 5 of season 3. A reaction to episode 5 isn't necessary at this point, but it's worth watching as it likely sets up several pieces for future events.

Enzo Becherel

Yeah agree with everyone, the atom eve special is really good and helps understand Eve so much more.

Nivek

Canon looking at the camera when Eve showed up is fucking golden 🤣🤣🤣

Micah Seer

One of the many reasons I love Studio Gek is if not at least one of them always shares my exact feelings about these shows. I felt very underwhelmed with season 3 at times but then at other times I felt overwhelmed in the best way. Season 1 narratively to me is miles better than 2 and 3, but the show overall is still in a great place

Sid

Y'all messing with my OCD skipping episodes and specials 😭

Sid

tbh don't even feel like finishing this reaction knowing y'all missing information, ruins it for me ngl

Goldyz

He was in the hosp, he lived

Golden Pants

I mean, Code Geass is almost 20 years old. It was a different time and a highly stylized show. That said, it STILL had more high quality animation then Invincible, just with an artstyle you might not like. But on a technical level, the animation was better despite being made with tools from nearly two decades ago, and I'd imagine it had a MUCH smaller budget. That should really give you some perspective on why people are upset at the animation in Invincible. They really have no excuse.

Golden Pants

The problem is that Mark is demanding control. Imagine if a superhero showed up on earth right now. He walks into the pentagon, and starts telling the military how it will do things. From their perspective, they have weapons that are at LEAST as strong as that superhero. So why would they have any obligation to take orders from him? He isn't bringing anything to the table that is substantial enough to let him make the decisions. And he's consistently shown that he makes HORRIBLE decisions. He took 3 fucking seasons to decide "Hey maybe killing these people that could destroy the world or entire dimensions if they escape prison is a good idea." So why should they be taking orders from Mark? He's a teenager who consistently gets his ass beat by every villain. He's not much good as anything other than a weapon, and even then he's not much better than most of their other weapons. And he gets taken down by a .mp3 file played over the loud speaker. So again, why should Cecil give a damn what Mark has to say when it comes to defending the planet? From Cecil's perspective, using Darkwing and the reanimen saved the fucking planet after Doc Seismic low-diffed Mark and Eve. Mark by comparison won't even take orders, and loses every fight he takes, which consistently gets shit loads of people killed. Then he comes barging into the pentagon, making demands, and when Cecil tells him to chill out he says "I'm not going anywhere". When he tries to escort him out (the reanimen literally just grabbed dude by the arm. Not even in like a mean way, just a "woah there buddy" kinda way), Mark starts crashing the fuck out. Imagine you're watching the son of a mass-murderer, who has the power to decapitate you in an instant, start having a mental break down in front of you. Who wouldn't be fucking terrified?

TheSauceGuy

I think the art style typically matters more to me, unless the animation is distractingly low quality, but I didn't feel that way for the most part of the season. I'm not saying it couldn't be significantly better though.

dylan

if ykyk

Marsuvies Black

You guys missed so much character development of Oliver you would be less scared of him if u had watched episode 5.

Marsuvies Black

well, I was going to watch this but brig complaining ruined it for me still love you guys, but I'll watch a different reaction.

Frosty

All 4 really snowball their emotions, once they get a whiff of stuff they dislike they start picking at everything and anything even if it doesn’t make sense. Some of it is definitely fair but so many whining comments about things that are either wrong or misunderstood. Glad they still had moments they enjoyed at least

Josh Viz

Like all the comments say. Stop skipping content! Lol

Josh Viz

The way you speak to Jack WHEN HES RIGHT is aggravating. Like atleast pay attention....

Kite

someone got a counter of how many times Jack has asked if Atom Eve can heal herself? 😂

Kite

2:13:59 what was that rumbling 😭

rayman

they really should have watched it before this point

rayman

skipping a 50 min episode is so wild, idk how they got misled, why would the show make a 50 minute recap episode, that’s absurd. next time yall need to verify before you skip a whole episode. ep 5 wasn’t insanely critical rn but it for sure had character building that you need to see

Nick

Where's episode 5...

forthwanderer

episode 5 was good y’all tweaked

Bob Loblaw

You guys know that Cecil can't teleport as a power, that it's technology the GDA has and the taxpayers fund a couple million per teleportation yea?

Legacy

just watched ep 5 it wasn't filler?

Thomas Holman

MVP - Eve … Mark you have earned my respect … finally! Enjoyed the reaction. Keep up the great work fellas!

Zipzzty

Just have to come back and rewatch peak here and there

Samuel

Bruh Eve just going super saiyan and being in god mode is some bullshit
