I think it's just an instinctual response, but giving it thought if he did use his powers that doesn't mean he gets to ignore the laws of physics, if he used to much force to push the kid out of the way he could kill the kid and like they stated if he made himself too sturdy he could kill the guy in the vehicle

Whoaah that was intense.... What a cliffhanger. Poor Mob. He has such a big heart always trying to save people and do the right thing. This season has been really good. I can't believe we're almost to the end of the series. Somehow, it feels bittersweet. It's still been a beautiful emotional journey. And it still doesn't feel the same without Cannon. 😭

Yeah also the first car he stopped he had to drop his bag to empty his hands and the car was far away so he could slow the wheels down. The second car was a lot closer by the time he noticed since he went to pick up hi bag. If he but a barrier on the kid the sudden stop could've hurt the person in the car too so his body just moved reflexively to push the kid out of the way at least that's how I always viewed it.

Explanation as to why Mob didn’t use his powers to save the kid: I think it was a combination of just pure human instinct and Mob not wanting to rely on his powers for everything (he’s gotten more comfortable just living without using them every single second of his life)

The Tsubomi arc! Where nothing bad happens (: Tsubomi is a really interesting character, the entire series we only see her through Mob’s perspective, and it isn’t much to go off of. The brief time Mob questions why he likes Tsubomi is very interesting. We see Mob fixating on the good childhood memory he had with her, and he gravitates towards that happy feeling. I think Mobs been closed off for so long, he just wants those happy feelings back! But will Tsubomi feel the same? As for the elephant in the room! It’s not stated but I think it can be assumed that the reason Mob didn’t use his powers to save the kid was because he was distracted by the cat, and by the time he noticed the car and the kid it was far too late to think. His hands were full so his human instinct to push the kid with his body overtook his psychic instinct to use his powers. A lot of factors lead up to it, the cat happens to cross before the light turns red, and a half a second later a negligent driver happens to not see the red light. Poor Mob ☹️

I was just thinking this was a nice episode and a good way to start the morning and then boom! Great reactions! I hope Tsubomi does visit him. I wish they had shown her more so we could see her personality a bit more and determine whether or not to ship her with Mob. I can't believe we are almost at the end. I doubt he's dead, but i guess that would make for a shocking end. It looks like MHA might win in the poll. I haven't watched that series, but I'll give it a chance. I didn't think I'd like Mob, but i ended up enjoying it. So who knows!
