NEW ANIME POLL DAY😈

With our glorious Mob coming to an end, it is that time. HERE ARE THE RULES:

The top 4 results of this poll will go to the FINAL poll in a few days. The winner of that poll will be our new replacement for Mob Psycho and our next anime!

IF your vote is looking like its not going to make the top 4, we would suggest changing your vote to one of the projected top results you like.

🚨NOTE: Frieren is not on this poll because we will be watching it a bit later before season 2 airs!

LET THE VOTING BEGIN

Geks I can't do this anymore I'm foaming at the mouth for aot

LovetheDove

Some of y’all are wildin in the comments if yours didn’t get picked try again it’s not that deep 😩 I wanted Castlevania to win last poll but I wasn’t butt hurt when it lost it’s ok I promise😂😂

Albdre

my hero academia is for children

greyxwaren

im saying it now since i see there’s a little alliance forming in the comments, if in the next poll jojo’s is not doing well i’ll gladly change my vote for steins gate but yall better vote for jojo’s on the next poll! if you can promised that you have my allegiance 🫡

cozo

just drop the next poll we got top 4 😭

Chalène

Honestly, I just hope that, in parallel, they’ll consider watching more short anime and maybe even make a poll about it. They’re currently reacting to a lot of long anime (like One Piece, Naruto, etc.). I’d love to see them watch more “chill” or short anime like Mob Psycho — things like Assassination Classroom, Kuroko no Basket, Spy x Family. That kind of vibe. In my opinion, that’s something missing from their content. So, since My Hero Academia is probably going to win this poll, I hope the other pick will be something shorter, more relaxed, and fun.

safaricat

damn i wanted to recommend a short anime but i can't find it for streaming anywhere T-T it's only 13 episodes long but it's goated. it's called Haven't You Heard? I'm Sakamoto. I really do hope you guys get around to Black Clover and Jojo's eventually. I def thing Bleach and Black Clover are def your style, however, I think Jojo's is everyone's style. It's crazy, gross, intense, emotional, fashion, manly, ratty, everything in one.

I’m planning on watching jojo’s. Is there a specific order to watch it?

Chalène

By the wayy… What’s about sakamoto days 🧍🏾‍♀️ ? Still have no news since 2 months

Jamin

RAHHHHHH

Sloth

People are sleeping on JoJo's. It has a slightly slow start but altogether it's a beautiful work of art.

Kyle

my goat Asta getting disrespected

Isabella Anderson
>>172130896

The beauty of reacting to jojo's comes in the parts as well; if one isn't to your taste, the next one might be

I’m Tired
>>172126287

Idk if Sakamoto is still releasing eps or what but geks said they’d bring it back when it was fully released cause I think their schedule was super packed at the time

Yam

My hero academia have some peak moments, its a really good show to react

よ ち

Personally, I think "Monster" or "On the Movements of the Earth" would be good choices, based on your taste in TV shows and movies. But these two would be hard to get many votes in the polls.

diavolo

Just start the other poll already man top 4 is not gonna change now

Freedom

Voted for Steins;Gate! As of the moment, the top4 are MHA, Bleach, Steinsgate and Jojo… only Steinsgate has one season (i dont consider 0) and seinen… so i hope you give it a chance since it doesn’t take that long to finish while the rest have at least 5 seasons and mostly shonen I hope even if it loses, it still gets its chance someday 🙏🏻

Freedom

These are my dream reactions from the Geks 1. Steins;Gate no contest 2. Run with the Wind (another goated seinen anime, another sports anime to add to ther arsenal, but it’s really more than just sports, it’s about life, and the creators of Haikyu made it which they also loved) 3. Nana seeing some comments here from other Nana fans hyped me up for real, coz it was out of the question for me since i knew the Geks would never even touch it, but if they do? It will be their first Josei anime i think, and it might be their first “music”-focused anime ughhh why am I being hyped for no reason

Freedom

Just realized Apothecary diaries is also in the poll wow Frieren and Apothecary are on the same level for me, the should watch both at some point And they are both new and popular these days

Saphira

Minster would have been my choice but it’s not in the top 4.

Conk

Remember for the final poll, IF YOU DONT WANT MHA TO WIN YOU HAVE TO VOTE FOR STEINS GATE, THAT IS THE ONLY CHANCE YOU HAVE FOR THEM TO NOT POST IT.

James
>>172158598

I would also point out that Carter has been waiting two years to watch Steins;Gate, and it's the type of show that would make it in his top 5. If MHA were to win, I'm assuming they will want to complete it before the new season premieres in 5 months, so that'll be about 8 episodes per week (good for MHA fans though). If Bleach were to win, it'll take them about 1-3 years to complete it assuming 2-4 episodes per week. Steins;Gate would be a quick 24 episodes (not really necessary to watch the other content unless they decide to).

Chérissa

MHA is good, but so mid overall 🫠🥲

Mia Fisher

PMG I LOVE MY HERO ACADEMIA, I’m actually rewatching it rn

zak

MY HERO YESSIR

Heather

Voting for Apothecary Diaries on principle 😤

TheSauceGuy

It's not too late to make Castlevania the only choice on the second poll, dw guys

G

NEW POLL‼️

AA

I've been wanting them to watch stein's gate ever since they were watching AOT. I hope they actually do it even if it doesn't win this poll :(

Takari

JOJO FANS WHERE YOU AT?!

xSaorix

Why don’t you guys go with a more Seinen anime this time? I’m voting for something like Berserk (even though it’s not listed) or Monster.

Ali
>>172315133

Consider voting Steins Gate, great story and character based show. And super short. Will definitely be a fresh change of pace. (Ok, I feel like I'm running a presedential campaign. 🤣)

Izak Zendejas

RE:ZERO!!! wouldnt be mad at my hero either, the highs are peak

JulioLG

Hey Geks, maybe maybe polls should have comment section, just saying 😬

G
>>172331124

they definitely should its what makes it fun

よ ち

Although it's not on this poll, I'd like you to watch "PSYCHO-PASS" someday. There are several series, but I think just season 1 and the first movie will be enough.

Major

im so tired of the 100+ episodes action based shows

Alexander

Bleach is - The only show none of them have seen before - The big 3 show they agreed had the best 1st episode - A huge inspiration to JJK, a show they all absolutely love

Uros Vesic
>>172335938

I dont get why people keep choosing it. I see them champion Bleach and MHA but that is not different from everything else they watched + would take a long time to finish

Welch

i feel like yall are finally ready for jojos. its not an anime that's easy to get into for non anime fans but after watching as many as yall have at this point Jojos would be such an amazing journey!

Zachary Dennison

Everyone here does realize that the top 4 from this poll will be voted on again for the anime they choose or did no one read the top at all. Also, you guys do see how much anime they react to, I wouldn't be shocked if they pick another anime after they finish the AOT rewatch. Personally I would love for them to watch Bleach, It's only 200 episodes without filler and TYBW has some of the best animation in all of anime.

vic

BLEACH

JeanJean
>>172350417

Jojo is to anime what anime is to everything else. such a wild but epic ride. We'll get the reaction some day but hopefully sooner than later cause I just can NOT wait. I can't think of a show more suited for reactions too, the narrative structure feels like it's practically made for it.

Nivek

My new favorite trend in the comments sections. Complaining about shonen as if it’s the only thing anime watchers consume or you’re the only person here who watches a different genre of anime.

James
>>172352044

I don't think they are going to pick another one after their AoT rewatch as they have a lot of on their plates. It looks like MHA may win in the final poll, and if so, Carter has said from a couple of weeks ago that he wants to complete before the new season, so that'll be about 8 episodes per week for about 5 months. Also, they are planning to watch Frienen and will most likely watch Kaiju No. 8 when the new season premieres. Lastly, they are still doing their Juicy Watch parties as well. All of this will be in addition to One Piece and Shippuden. To top it off, they still have their live action content which has shows and movies uploads every week.

YoungMaki

From what I’m hearing if y’all choose MHA they said they’ll catch up before the new season, that’s a good amount in a short amount of time. I feel like that stipulation is worth picking, especially since they’ll zoom past any weak points people might have with the series. That’s why I’d choose it with this in mind.

BigManSirob

Give us the final poll already, it's been over 3 days at this point 😭
