Revenge is bad, m’kay.

Pekorap

Glad this shit show is over with. Time to watch a better show 🥱

Yoshi

It doesn’t matter how much you push the envelope. It’ll still be stationary

TheBookerDeWitt

I am absolutely floored by the quality of this adaptation. I cannot wait for the next season.

TheSauceGuy

And so it begins... (the time to stream the games)

gabi felix

Ellie loses Joel and Jesse: OMG, SHE SUFFERED MORE THAN JESUS. Abby loses her father and literally EVERYONE, including her children: 100% deserved. I can't understand

TheBookerDeWitt

"It was self defense" "Well it was was provoked self defense" Welcome to the quandary of Part 2

Slizzle

Pls play the game asap

JoLen

7:04 ok cannon I see you

Alex

I think you'll enjoy both the show and the game more if you wait to play until after the show ends

Conk

5.9/10 show. They need to take editing and makeup and directing more seriously, the walkers attacking the fortress looked like people at times, you could see someone standing in the forest plain as day last episode, I think they were wearing a green puffer jacket. And then the walkers ran past Tommey during the attack, like, who thought that was a sound decision? You want Tommey to fight the bloater to save his wife, but that was the best you people came up with? Just make Tommey invisible to all the clickers running past him? There are multiple narrative issues I have but that'll take too long to get into. Way better than Severance S2 though

Daisuke

I know I'm being a little closed minded...trust I get it but damn it. I could not care less about Abby dude...holy

leah

i rated each episode out of 10 individually and averaged it by how many eps are in the season and my overall rating was an 8.2! there are definitely things i had major issues with as someone who’s played the game (ie. the pacing and the writing) but overall i thought it was a pretty decent adaptation! obviously with it being an adaptation, things are going to be different than the source material so i was prepared for that. a lot of the changes made were good changes! but the ones that were bad, were abysmal LOL. the last two episodes in my opinion are written the best out of the whole season and they are the only two episodes that neil druckmann and halley gross (the tlou2 writers) have writing credits on so it makes sense. to me, it feels like craig mazin has never played the game(s) before and he’s just writing the characters (more specifically ellie) just based things he’s heard about her from other ppl. as someone who’s got over 500 hours in tlou2, i feel like even i understand ellie more than craig does LMAO. anyway, i’m complaining a lot for a season i thought was pretty good. hopefully they either get rid of mazin altogether for the next season or just have neil and halley in the writers room a little more. i’d like to see the writing quality in season three be as good as it was in these last two episodes.

a_daichi

I’m ready for s3! In the meantime, I’ll be watching more gameplays to fill the void

Judy

"I don't want her POV!" Well, in the game they make you play as her😂

a_daichi

I’m still not over his death after all this time 😪

Conk

Quality could have been so much better

TheBookerDeWitt

How so? The sets are gorgeous, and match the game's to a T. Some of the scenes and shots, even of actor's FACES are perfectly mirrored. The acting is great from every single cast member. The story aligns perfectly with the game in show form. What exactly needs to be improved upon?

TheSauceGuy

I'm glad Ellie didn't need to kill a dog this time lol.

pineapplegreg

knowing it was coming made it so much worse for me 😭

Saki 🏴‍☠️✨❤️‍🔥

in terms of cannons 'hot takes' i agree more so with jesse fs, but i see what both him and ellie are saying. also for the argument of self defense i think carters technically right, in the sense that if it were being tried as a crime i dont think that ellie could actually claim self defense (idrk tho) because she initiated the encounter, but also get what cannons saying in the sense that it doesn't seem as though her intention was to actually shoot them if not for owen pulling the gun in return, at which point of course ellie would shoot in defense of herself

TheSauceGuy

THESE RATS, I knew this would be where they ended the season! 😭

Conk

Bella killing 3 bums with 1 bullet, holyyy

Sinbad

So, I think the craziest part about The Last of Us Part 2 is that by the end of the game, Abby became not only my favorite character in that game, but one of my favorites in video games period. Without spoiling things, Abby's half of the game is without a doubt the strongest part of the game for me. I hateddd this character and was against even trying to emphasize with her perspective but I quickly found those walls coming down the more I went through her story. The moment I let go some of that angst and just allowed myself to be open and emphasize and go on this journey was when everything truly just fell into place.

TheSauceGuy

Cannon, you have no idea how familiar this is for people who've played/watched the game 47:21

a_daichi

If they could at least play part 1 that’d be really fun

Alex

That's true

a_daichi

will forever wish jesse didn’t get got 😭

TheSauceGuy

They did a great job with the WLF stadium.

Alannah Caldwell

Trust the process, I hated being forced to play abby at first (especially after just killing Jessie) but I fell in love with her character and she has great character development and story arc.

TheBookerDeWitt

Bro I literally said out loud to Mel "THATS HOW WE ALL FELT CANNON" when he said this LOL

TheSauceGuy

I typically get bothered by odd moments like the infected running past Tommy, but it didn't get to me that much in this show. My rationale was that the infected were targeting those on the roofs because they were a larger threat, but idk. Honestly, these sorts of moments pop up in media way too often, and it's typically for plot convenience. Also, Tommy would be invisible to the clickers running past him because they're blind, unlike the runners ☝️🤓

TheSauceGuy

The only thing that I felt was kind of odd was the quick cut in the theater; it just looked a little goofy to me lol.

TheSauceGuy

That moment when TLoU fans have to see things from another perspective hahaha. I'm so excited for them to start the games. Now hopefully, the King Carter Skipz doesn't skip the first game's DLC lol.

TheSauceGuy

That's some James Randal self-defense logic from Cannon lol. If you know, you know.

Conk

I just watched the scene back and Tommey is screaming HEEEEYY HEEEEYY HEY HEY HEEEEEEYYYYYYYYYYYY. And shooting. Id expect the clickers running right next to him to hear that, I dont know though

TheSauceGuy

Abby's story is not going to be at all what you think it is, at least if they keep to the game.

JoLen

Really hoping you guys play the game since it’ll probably be another few years till the next season.

Mobcujoh

I liked the game better personally

BipolarKitten

McKay: "I want every Scar to die. Even that little kid." Bro’s gone full villain arc, no coming back now.

pineapplegreg

Owen is easily my LEAST favorite character in the game

GreetswithJudgement

Jessie has every right to be cold to the girls. And the nerve for Ellie to be let in by Jessie, ignoring him, not showing concern for him and going straight to Dina…like F you, I would be cold as frick to you to and then the next day you try speak to me like we should be friends? You got me Fd up. And then Dina being like I don’t want to die after going on a mission for revenge, pretty much a mission to die…really?

Grimm

Holy hell they are just really trying their hardest to not make Ellie be some revengeful savage like she is in the game. Like what is the point. I get the nerf of Joel's savageness in the 1st season but come on. She is meant to stab Mel with a knife in the neck on purpose. They are so scared to make Ellie into a "bad guy". When there's no "bad guy" or "good guy" in these type of world.

NMP

Thank you lol

NMP

Yea I just replayed it for the first time since it came out last weekend and I came away surprised at how much I liked Abby. I was never a pure hater when it came out but this time I was even reaching the point where I think I like her as a character more than Ellie… which is just insane to say.

NMP

There’s no way you guys are gonna be able to resist playing the game lol. The story won’t continue from the theater until towards the end of the next season which won’t even start for another 2-3 years

GreetswithJudgement

I know Squid Game is the next show but I can’t wait for The Penguin, whenever that may be!

GreetswithJudgement

Carter if you can’t handle this then Walking Dead is not for you. This is tame compared to that show. 😂

James Burge

Ahahah Ellie hated her life when Joel was alive but now that he’s gone she’s having the time of her life

C2-H5-OH

?? Squid Game is finished with the Geks, no? We're all waiting for season 3 I think

GreetswithJudgement

Yes, that’s what I meant. Season 3 is being released in June. So they might fit another show in by the time it airs or they may not. I wonder if we’ll get a poll.

GreetswithJudgement

With Jessie dead, this surely will have significant consequences for all involved especially Ellie. She can either get her revenge or be humbled. I have a feeling the show will lead her down the road of being humbled. Which imo would be more predictable than getting revenge but it will still be an interesting take. I’ll have to give this show a 7 rating. I’m just not intrigued enough to know what direction the story takes. The only characters I care about aren’t mains, or don’t have enough screen time (Jessie/Tommy, I’m looking at you) and the ones who take it up I don’t care about and maybe that’s my issue with the show. I do not care about Ellie or what happens to her or Dina. The acting I find to be awful at parts and I’m having a hard time relating to the personal relationship. It feels extremely forced. Hot take, I know. But that’s just me. Some of the decisions they made were just idiotic. Concerning Jessie and Ellie in the end, why would they run to the door not knowing what threat is in the other side? Why was Jessie and Ellie not prepared for an attack? Where was there stealth? Jessie didn’t need to get shot so that was imo bad writing but we all saw it coming because the writing was on the nose. But again, it’s a solid show and I see the endearment. Someone said it best, it’s beautiful and awful at the same time.

Kite

At the end of the day you can't take most of the haters seriously, when the first game came out there were people hating on it, when the second game came out people hated on it because it wasn't like the first game, and now with the show people are hating because it's different from the second game. The only problem this games/show have is that they're popular and popular stuff will be hated no matter what. So just play the games already we're waiting 🤑

James Burge

Please play the game 🙏🏻 I would pay for gaming gek just to watch that

Vextipher

Likely with how the game ended, so this will be less jarring. I'm trying to avoid phrasing in a way that can lead to spoiler/conclusions but IYKYK.

PST3

> why would they run to the door not knowing what threat is in the other side More poor writing or that they are just useless. No one guards, they are too busy getting emotional. Jessie was dead man walking when Ellie claimed to be the father of the baby.

jared

Ellie criticized Jesse for being selectively protective; ie protecting Jackson, Dina, but not that young scar which they encountered before their altercation, nor Joel; and then she ended up killing a pregnant woman who was her enemy; murdering an unborn child; therefore ending up not being a protector of all children, but just her lover, Dina's, child. I was hoping she would recognize the hypocrisy of her comments to Jesse in light of this and apologize; disappointed that she didn't :/ Also totally with you Cannon, so rude of Ellie to ignore Jesse's question and to wake Dina up early on in the episode! I'm a fan of Ellie generally, especially in light of the penultimate flashback episode, but these are on the list of things that bother me 😤

Pats

Please play the game Abby is a GOAT

Yannick Schwarz

PLAY THE GAME(S)!!! Seriously though, I highly recommend playing both games. It will not hit the same otherwise and the first one is not that long compared to the second

NMP

Just not true at all, the first game was an instant classic and had universal hype when it came out. People are allowed to have criticisms.

NMP

It’s funny to see you guys recreate a lot of the emotions that gamers went through five years ago. Everybody was furious they had to play as Abby right after that cliffhanger. If you want me to be honest though, after replaying the game last weekend. I was surprised walking away how much I liked Abby. Honestly even more than Ellie. Which feels blasphemous. And given how the show butchered Ellie this season and Dever is a much better actress than Bella I think that will be even more pronounced here assuming they get Abby’s story right. The issue is with a 2 year gap many people will leave off with this anger and then forget about the show by the time it starts up again. It will an even harder sell to get people to follow Abby than it was in the game. Plus I’ll be that guy again and say the way they wrote Ellie this season really soured me on the whole show. I don’t know whose idea it was to write her as incompetent. I didn’t realize until I replayed the game how much storytelling and character is told just by it being a game, for example the game makes you solve so many environmental puzzles and pull stuff out of your ass to survive the encounters with the enemies, so Ellie just inherently feels that much smarter and more resourceful. Show Ellie feels like she spent all season bumbling around and then accidentally stumbled into the big moments and scenes that game Ellie worked her tail off and slaughtered her way to arrive at. Long story short play the games.

NMP

The fact that carter even as a show watcher can feel how off Seattle was should say it all

Milan Jovanovic

@NMP clearly werent around when the first game came out, the number of people who were furious that joel killed everyone at the end was crazy but that reaction has just been forgotten when people look back at the game now

Ayoodude

Ellie sucks for real. She wanna be tough and go and get her revenge..what she think was gonna happen? It was going to be smooth sailing, and no killing?? Well guess what yee wrong dummy

Finja

Do you guys know the show called duty after school, it’s a Kdrama and it’s soooo good!

Segen

yea she's way more realistic in the game, like more ready to kill people

Segen

but you guys should definitely stream tlou2! Abbys such a goat

jrnoodles

Thank you! That's how the season end?? Man.....

Sasha (Yare Yare Daze)

I'm not watching the Star Wars streams. My brain couldn't keep up with the game🤣

Kale

Man this was one of the worst episodes adaptation wise ngl, Ellie washing ashore an island like MILES away from where she capsized just to immediately leave and go back across the water minutes later after an unneeded scene of the seraphites learning they were being attacked?

Jessica

The story about who’s really the villain and perspective etc is really cool! But honestly I just can’t forget how Abby beat (our)Joel with a golf club to the point that it broke and then stabbed him to death with a broken piece… it’s a sad and tragic story both ways sure but Joel was my goat I played as him and followed his and Ellie’s story for so long I emphasize more with them… Does anyone else feel this way that played the game? Because I just can’t care about Abby the same way I’m sorry I get her perspective but man it’s Joel🥹

intra101

(had this under the wrong vid) For Jack wondering why Tommy is shooting at and picking off the WLF's. I'm sure it's been said but in the game he went to Seattle before Ellie and Dina and was on his 1 man army shit just leaving bodies everywhere.

DAI

Man, I know you guys like Joel, Tommy and Jessie and stuff but you barely know Abby (you only saw the glimpse of her for the entire season). The way you are wining "My GOATs are dead I'm done I'm out." without watching the next season is kinda lame ngl. The show literally ended with the hint of her perspective to build up. What if Abby is more GOATed than all of your favorite? You just dislike her because she appeared out of nowhere and killed one guy out of revenge? Well if you put it that way, Joel killed all the "innocent" people "just because". I hope you understand what I mean (My english isn't that good).

DAI

For the record, I think Both Jesie and Ellie were right. Jessie was right about Ellie always being selfish, Ellie was right about Jessie being hypocrite about "community".

Jessica

I think it’s hard to just side with a whole new character who also brutally killed the main character that is so loved by everyone. The creator of the game also said that he wanted people to be angry having to switch to Abby’s perspective and then as the game continues get an understanding once you follow Abby’s journey + i feel like everyone’s initial reaction to Joel’s death was that they didn’t wanna continue playing/watching lol

DAI

I get that you are supposed to be mad ane if you are playing the game by yourself or watching the show by yourself then sure, but for the reactive contents creater, I gotta say "trust the process", you know?

Kim 555

DO NOT PLAY TLOU2 ALL THE WAY THROUGH PLLLLEASE 😭 finish the show first, maybe don't play the game to begin with or play till the point the show stops at. I want you to not be biased until all is wrapped

Kim 555

Nora's last words were Wagon Wheel Watusi in a cher accent

Kim 555

"I don't want her POV" LMAO this reminds me of something

vicc

If the show gets the game right next season, you won’t just learn to like Abby, but maybe even cheer for her 😌😌

vicc

*SPOILER* Exactly. They even left out Alice, the dog, 'cause Ellie killing an animal would've been 'too much'

vicc

They changed Jesse’s personality, especially how he interacts with Ellie, but I honestly thought it made sense and felt true to the situation. He’s been upfront with her from the start, so I wasn’t surprised by how he acted in Seattle. What did feel weird, though, was how cold Dina was towards Jesse, which was the total opposite of what happened in the game.

Saki 🏴‍☠️✨❤️‍🔥

I mean to be fair, I hear its different in the game, but she clearly didn't mean to kill Mel here. She also never claimed to be the protector of all children, but rather just wanted to try and help those she sees in immediate danger in front of her. It was pretty unsettling in the silence to see her give up on saving the baby as Mel wanted, but its also true she had no idea how to do the operation alone, and unfortunately the baby /was/ incredibly likely to just die. If not from Ellie messing up on the operation, than from its crying drawing enemies when they're not in the safety of Jackson, the elements, or very likely starving without its mother and no readily available baby food :(( Jesse and her also still had a very nice moment imo, where Ellie reaffirms that Jesse is a good person despite their disagreement before, and that they would both do anything to protect each other Also I could be wrong but I didn't interpret the brush of her hair as an attempt to wake Dina up, but rather a reassuring sense of contact after seeing her for the first time after they separated, that Dina happened to wake up to I'm fairly neutral on Ellie, but I just didn't read many of these things as intentional

Mufufu

The writing and direction, ohh man, just play the game

Mysterious Figure

Ok, Neal, now I realize it's time for your Uchiha eyes transplant because your sight has dimmed beyond salvation. Or did you take up comedy as a new hobby which I somehow missed? Because if so, ok I'll give it to you, you got me good. 😅

NMP

That’s the same way most people reacted when they played the game for the first time lol. Abby has had like 15 minutes of screen time in season 2. Obviously they don’t know anything about her

Yara

i can't believe Cannon had the same reaction screaming like every one of us who played the game "i don't want her POV". Im with you Mckay too you'll get through this but yeah they keep killing everyone we like

a_daichi

Literally 😂 although I’d still love to see his reaction to twd

KrispyKenny

Ngl this entire season was kinda jarring, felt like it had extremely rushed pacing and compressed storytelling, undermined the emotional weight and character development that S1 had. felt like Ellie’s characterization lacked the emotional intensity expected after Joel’s death... and it usually doesn't take a lot for me to like a character but I don't think I like a single one so far other than Joel not even Tommy or ellie or Jesse it could be the acting but it's also the small things they say and do that make them feel real and literally no one feels real in this show, at least in s2... idk if I'm the only one that feels like that 😕 the dilemnas in the scenes are thought provoking tho S1: 8.2/10 S2: 6.5/10

a_daichi

Overall I enjoyed season 2. I’m always open to adaptations being a bit different. I will say they could have done better with writing Ellie’s character being more resourceful and revengeful. It definitely would have hit more for sure. I’ll give it a 7/10. I’m very excited for season 3 starting with Abby. I can’t wait for you guys to play part 1!!! When you’re done with that, you guys will just have to decide if you want to stay blind to season 3 by not playing part 2 or not.

TheBookerDeWitt

I hate to burst your bubble Mr. Stranger, but other than the fact that Bella shouldnt have been re-cast for older, darker Ellie, I think the show has been great. I think the games are still a better medium for TLoU story, but as far as adaptations from video games go, Id love for someone to point me to a better one lol

Sasha (Yare Yare Daze)

It was clearly self defense on Ellie's side. There is no other side to that. I also agree with everything Jesse said in this episode.

Juan Hector Gonzalez

Literally said the same thing as Cannon that I do not want Abby’s POV

Sasha (Yare Yare Daze)

"I let you live" is crazy line. Abby actually thought Ellie would be pleased with that. What an idiot. This episode actually makes me so mad because why did Jesse and Ellie just barged through the door with zero precautions

Guy

Yeah like Carter mentioned they were a little too frivolous in the first half of their time in Seattle acting like they were on a field trip and not a dangerous revenge mission. They were a little bit too unserious for a lot of the time, and then Ellie would just randomly lock in every once in a while which is the opposite of how the game goes

Guy

if it's any consolation, the portrayal in the game is much more realistic. the acting of each character is phenomenal there too. I'd recommend checking it out or watching a Let's Play

Guy

this ^^^

Guy

The game is split up just like the show is so they could easily pause and wait if they wanted to

Guy

that was super random for sure. felt like it was a deleted scene or something

Guy

I HIGHLY recommend that you guys play BOTH games. Or at the very least, you can pause after you get to the point where this season ends. They are split up in the same way. I think getting to know Ellie in the first game is important to enjoying the second game if you decide to play through it. Her characterization is similar but slightly different from her portrayal in the show, so I'd recommend getting to know game 1 Ellie and then following up with the second part

Guy

Game Ellie feels like a mini-Joel but in the show she feels barely capable of anything on her own

Guy

bro couldn't commit to anything

Hayden Ton

what time are we expecting MHA and Aot today?

1999

It’s actually insane how similar the actor for Jesse looks to the game version

Sasha (Yare Yare Daze)

Ellie is too annoying and seems like having some teenage tantrums but she's a little too old for that. She should've gone with Jesse to help Tommy 100%

1999

Also aside from resemblance the actor is just killing it in general. He kinda sounds like Keanu Reeves 😂

Sasha (Yare Yare Daze)

I don't think you were supposed to spoil the game for them. And most importantly for me🙄😁

Jessica

We need Tommys pov !!!

Sasha (Yare Yare Daze)

Your comments are very relatable but why are you writing Jesse's name as Jessie?

Jessica

Abbys mark on her neck 👀 honestly im excited!! All the things that have been hinted throughout the season is gonna get shown ahh can’t wait that long 😭

a_daichi

Yeah agreed. Hopefully they do a better job for Abby

a_daichi

Kind of same with his voice

Mitch

Zero percent chance literal zero.

a_daichi

I also wish everyone would stop with these 8 episode season format 😭 give us moreee

1999

Haha the thing with the map is what Joel did when he was interrogating those guys in s1

Animeke

I think most guns would work after being underwater, my best guess is potentially some kind of mechanism failure.

Slizzle

There is prolly a s4 to the show and they haven’t even started filming s3, why should they wait all that time for the show to end when overall the game is the better and the original experience, I really wish they would play the game

Slizzle

I can’t believe how much they downgraded my girl ellie compared to the game

Slizzle

For me it’s manny, I hate that bozo

GreetswithJudgement

Yes and I think he would fall absolutely in love with Rick Grimes!

GreetswithJudgement

Agree!!! And sorry Sasha I know I’m spelling Jesse as Jessie but it keeps autocorrecting and I don’t care to change it 😂

Slizzle

Regardless of whether you like the show or not, we all gotta admit the set designers in this show are absolutely goated, they absolutely went crazy, some of the sets feel like they were literally teleported from the game to real life

GreetswithJudgement

The most entertaining members for me are Conk, Mysterious Figure, TheSauceGuy and Sean. I never know what epicness I’m gonna get from them. They’re like the four horsemen of the apocalypse for me 😂

GreetswithJudgement

Rick is my live action GOAT. He’s such a hot mess 😂

vicc

Bookmarking this for 2027 when you’re cheering for her 😂

a_daichi

we love our hot mess king

Nasty

The only good thing about the show tbh which is sad since the games are pretty good. Ellie is really great in the games.

Nasty

I would call it mediocre like a 5/10 most of thoes points are for set design and the zombies. Nothing else is memorable.

Chrissy

As a show only watcher for the second season, I really enjoyed it! I don’t think it’s perfect even without having the game to compare it too. But there were a lot of really great moments and I’m excited for the next season. Versus some other shows that I’ll watch but more meh on. My take on Ellie going on revenge, is that it’s definitely the reckless thing to do but I do understand it. I do think she made a good point with Jesse when she said “if you were in my position.” I think it’s really easy to judge people’s actions when you’re not the one going through it. The same reason she can’t let it go is the same reason Joel did what he did. It took away humanity’s hope, took away Ellie’s purpose, and on top it all, lied. But we can all understand it to a degree even though it was a horrible thing to do. And that understanding is the same I give to Ellie. But then of course, that would be extended to Abby as well. I mean at this point in time I cannot stand her lol. But even so her actions are understandable. I think it’s more sad than anything. How these kinds of things just breed more hate and the cycle doesn’t end. But realistically, it would be hard to be that person to put an end to it and move on.

jared

I totally hear you, I don't think she was intending to wake Dina up, and this is a personal thing, but if someone was sleeping, especially when recovering from something, I would avoid any contact for fear of waking them, and if I was the one sleeping, I would want everyone to avoid contact with me to avoid any chance of waking me, so it was frustrating for me to see her contacting Dina even if not with intent to wake her. As for the rest, I don't feel critical of Ellie for not saving the child's life (I would be completely overwhelmed in that situation and likely wouldn't be able to either) and I agree she definitely didn't mean to kill Mel; my only frustration is that she didn't think her earlier comments to Jesse were unfair, and I think they were, and that she should've thought so too in light of the catastrophic results of her actions, *especially since she did not intend to cause those harms but did so anyway inadvertently. I wish she could've seen that she might've been expecting too much of Jesse and that she was being overly critical, and that she too was limited in the scope of her ability to care, which is what she was criticizing him for. I also agree that they still had a nice moment and I liked that for sure. And I haven't played the games, which I know are the authoritative source material for all these characters; so I can only currently respond to what we see in the show 🤷‍♀️

Ninjinzo

yeah this season was ass

AirCord

So I've never played Part 2 of TLOU but I watched a no commentary playthrough of it that matched my decision making at least 90% of the time... The show has deff decided to tell the story in a way unlike the game, and in some ways I think the approach would have benefited the game... but I think the characters in the live action fall short compared to the game EVEN when they get more context than in the game. (Pedro highkey an exception) I would expand on my opinion of the actors but, to keep it short, I think Bella Ramsey is okay in general but only if I look at her performance as an average or something. She seems awkward I guess I'd say in certain more "mature" moments of the show. Game Ellie is more consistent and imo a better performance at all levels. Hope to see y'all play the games, and would like if y'all started from the very beginning if possible!

Oscar

I'd rather watch you guys chatting than watch TLOU..This show is so bad….

Rebecca

Ellie's my favorite in both games - the 2nd game ripped my heart out so I'd love to watch them play

Rebecca

Honestly, I love who we meet through Abby so I really hope the writers do her storyline justice in season 3

Rebecca

but that's all hindsight - i had to pause the game for a week before I could start Abby's play through. And reaction creators are giving their actual reaction, I'd rather they give their honest thoughts then pretend not to be mad. Everyone had the same reaction during the game, so it makes sense that viewers would too when watching the show

Rebecca

an injustice rlly - they couldn't commit and sanitized her character. I had whiplash this whole season

Rebecca

the WLF stadium looks so good

Datta

I liked a lot of things about this season except for Ellie’s writing and that’s the biggest thing that needed to be on point in my opinion. That one thing ruins it for me, where’s the vengeful Ellie we know who didn’t feel bad about killing Nora and who didn’t try to save Mel’s baby like wtf lol

Sari-chan

The amount of locations, the attention to details, the world in TLOU is just so mesmerizing. It makes me want to go full survivor mode haha my face was so tense the whole episode, I always have to remind myself to chill. I have not played the game but I cannot wait to feel just as bad for Abby and confuse my little heart!

a_daichi

Seriosuly. Can’t wait to see my goats

Alex

hey if someone knows why and doesn’t mind saying why did they stop posting reactions on here to breaking bad?

If I remember correctly there was a post mentioning how it wasn't working out for their schedules atm! I believe they said they wanted to get back to it at some point though, but with no date planned still as far as I'm aware

While I know its not an apology in the sense you were hoping for, I do think that moment prior to them running out is somewhat acknowledging that she was being unfair to him earlier, and that him prioritizing themselves and Jackson doesn't make him less of a good person!

I'll have to rewatch that scene! I know I definitely did like that moment they shared and I did find it satisfying. Upon rereading my initial comment I see that the language I used does sound pretty critical, but I didn't really mean to make an objective criticism as much as I wanted to vent about something specific I would have wanted, like, if I was in Jesse's shoes, and with my own particular psychology. I feel like saying, that moment may have been enough for him, and, it may have been enough to most people if they were in his shoes, and maybe even objectively, but, for better or worse, on this initial watch at least, it didn't feel like it would have been enough for me. But I will rewatch it and reevaluate! I appreciate these points you're making and your evaluations, and engaging with my rant 🫠

Oh no worries, and I'm not trying to attack your viewpoint either!! I just thought it was interesting because it was fairly different from my own~ I can totally understand wanting a little more out a character or scene sometimes

Everyone hates this show and ending but but I think that’s actually great, the show has guts. What’s the point of keeping strong characters alive if it’s more interesting to watch the development of flawed main ones?

Thank you so much and totally, it's so rich and interesting how different things land for all of us, I'm so grateful you engaged!! ☺️

Does anyone know if they have seen the serie Band of Brothers?

Any new US/English series in the pipeline? I think “The Day of The Jackal” would be great 😀
