Mona

DAY ??? Of recommending the Geks to watch 20th century girl (Movie) after this show & When Life Gives You Tangerines 🍊 please 🤗 i really want y’all to watch something wholesome and sad but so good and so peak 😤‼️

Betsy

Yaaay it's here guys!!!

Mona

🍊no villains just life 🥹

floo

Aaaaa

serena

another episode of PEAK, here we go

Amira

ITS HERE

Tivy

WLGYT is the best drama of the year! Maybe of all time for me 👀

Amira

I was in a bad mood but not anymore 🤗🤗🤗

Mona

Same!!! Its been a while since I genuinely enjoyed a new kdrama.

Mona

Oh and bonus for WLGYT 🍊 our favorite auntie is in it!! 🥹

Ayoodude

😈😈😈

Ari

This show is a freaking masterpiece

Ari

It's my 3rd time watching it with you guys. And I am loving it just as much

Sho

Im so happy U CANT UNDERSTAND

Ari

Really? Is she in it? I loveee love IU. And I love the auntie as well! I really need to watch it now

floo

Poor Louis can't catch a break

a_daichi

Can’t wait to watch later!

Mona

YES!!

HaNo0onat

My goat is the doctor 😌

HaNo0onat

I wonder if the doctor and yeon jin is still dating irl I remember they announced they were after filming the glory

Betsy

I lost it when I heard The Boyz cameo with Thrill Ride. I completely forgot about that scene lol Aww Hyeon-nam and Sun-a can't catch a break... I feel bad for them. They deserve peace anf freedom away from that slimy husband/father's clutches. But it's awful that she has to leave her mother behind for the time-being. And when Yeon-jin stepped on Hyeon-nam's hand, it made me so freaking mad. I'm glad Sun-a can stay with Moon's old teacher to be in a secure safe place until things are settled. But she'll be the most protected in the U.S. Also, Yeon-jin, you can't outsmart my girl, Moon. She's more clever than you think. You better watch out.

floo

I freaking hate dongeuns mom every scenes she's in is so unbearable to watch

T.Yaseen

Finally we saw how Yeon-jin killed Son Myeong lmao, Please give me more scenes of Yeon-jin in total pain and stress lmao, as a first time watcher every episode is a guaranteed 9/10+ at worst lmao, what a fking show.

Merry

You know, for me this scene was both very satisfying and scary when the doctor talked about air embolism—saying to inject a bubble into the bloodstream. This thought is so deep—that just like a doctor can save your life, they can also take it within a few seconds or minutes. Someone who has actually gone through such moments in real life can truly explain it properly. 🙂

floo

33:28 what was that Carter🤣🤣 so hilarious and Cannons side eye is killing me

Mikkeai8908

If bob haired teacher had the length of his hair even, he would have the same haircut as dongeun. Lol.

Merry

The way Moon showed her scars, she demonstrated how cruel and merciless the world can be—and that the person who has gone through this has no need to hide, because it’s not their fault. They shouldn’t feel bad or ashamed the ones who should feel bad and hide are those who committed such vile, inhumane acts.

Tivy

In many countries, there’s a bigger emphasis on having clear, unmarked skin, so scars can draw more attention in Korea than in the US. Historically, monarchs would be considered illegible for royalty if they had scars, and many k-pop idols are forced to cover up their tattoos. That’s partly why everyone reacts so strongly when Dong-eun takes off her jacket, along with the fact it’s obvious they are resulted from abuse. Add to that what you guys said about the upscale setting, these wealthy people get more shocked by visible “flaws” and imperfections. For Da-young, it was this along with the sickening realization of what his wife did to her.

I’m Tired

When I was rewatching the jjk reactions, yall realllyyyy hated Mahito

Betsy

I keep saying this but I really love the duo and friendship between Moon and Mrs. Kang. They are too adorable. They make such a great team. I just want them to have a proper meal together after all this is over... But I know, it can't be that fast.

Merry

Yeon-jin’s husband is reacting in exactly the right way. Even after such intense situation and mess, he’s still thinking about his daughter making sure that this bitter reality doesn’t affect her. I like the depth of his character👍

James

Death’s game or moving should be the next show you guys react, lets continue this K-peak

jemmy

The power of the truth serum!

J. Arwen Jade

First time watching the show and Husband is indeed the GOAT. Man is soooooo fine, shipping him and Moon. As an aside, Moon has amazing drip, dare I say the best in the show 👀

Betsy

Sorry but I found that Louis part really funny when Jae-jun looked at him after that guy informed him of pet allergies. Petition for Louis to have a better Dad! Jae-jun is desperate to keep Ye-sol all to himself like a prized possession. There's no love there. He's only doing it to spite Mr. Ha and have complete control on everything. He doesn't deserve sweet angel, Ye-sol. She's too pure and kind for his sleeziness. It's a miracle that she turned out to be such a good person with parents like hers both different levels of evil and vanity.

floo

Them in the first episode why u rat recommand shows like this : Them now, this show is so damn good 🤣

Ayoodude

BLEACH MOVING

Tivy

Everyones loves Dong-eun and the Doctor (Yeo-jeong) and wants them to have their happy ending, but there are for sure some people who ship her with the Husband (Da-young) too—partly because it’d be the worst thing for Yeon-jin, and partly because of their chemistry. I think with a show like this, a lot of people gravitate more toward tension-filled dynamics than the more wholesome ones. Realistically, I don’t think Dong-eun and the Husband make sense as a couple, but I see the potential. It might also be because their characters and actors are closer in age, whereas there’s a noticeable age/maturity gap with her and the Doctor.

Rayanh Shequinah Nansha

Not my first time watching and you guys are my fourth or fifth reactors to this haha. And yes, husband is definitely my goat and I lowkey shipped him with Moon as well, but I didn’t mind our surgeon being her love interest either. The way you guys cheered, saying there were sparks in that elevator scene cracked me up. Your reactions have been so fun, I’m looking forward to your next drop!!

Anya

31:23 Cannon & Carter lmao Moon & Mr. Ha's first baby & then flexing their eye test 😂😭 Yes, the sparks are there between them, but I prefer her with Yeo-jeong. Yeo-jeong, the headsman at your royal command, too romantic! Poor Mr. Ha, she did warn you not to open that box. Park is a menace, but she's also a great villainess.

Mimi

Bro literally got her to confess to killing myeong oh!!

Anya

Carter over there having a seizure, surprised he didn't drop something on Cannon again 😂😂

Mimi

Such a good episode!!!

Anya

Same🥹 & don't forget the soju!

floo

From now on every episodes gonna be piece of art 🎨 be ready for wildness

serena

carter singing hero out of nowhere was gold

vicc

Can’t believe there are only 6 episodes left

Betsy

The guys hype for Moon and Mr. Ha's love to happen is hilarious. The tension is incredibly strong... I see sparks too and wanted it to happen as well. However, her and Yeo-jeong are so sweet and lovely together. Our boy needs his savage queen. He would do anything for her and truly cherishes her. With Mr. Ha, he's only physically atttacted to her and is a bit smitten with her allusiveness and trying to figure out like a puzzle. But Wow that elevator scene as well when our girl took off her coat to reveal her scars to everyone is so good. The suspense is crazy. Poor Mr. Ha is shocked and terrified. He didn't realize what kind of witch he was acttually married to.

Betsy

Yes of course, it's the quintessential beverage of choice in Korea 😉

Ari

Yeeeees pls

Betsy

When Yeo-jeong had Yeon-jin under anesthesia and when the teacher was by his side, I got chills. Then, when she woke up freaking out after having that lucid dream of murdering Myeong-o unbeknowst to her, actually confessing to him what she did. The writing is so well written with that ending scene of him looking at her with that devious grin on his face. Sorry my dear, but your cover is now blown. But you weren't as clever and sneaky as you thought.

Sari-chan

Wait no lol Louis got a trim, he is the only one being treated well in this show...

Betsy

It's actually my third time watching this epic crazy show but it's still so freaking good and even more enjoyable with my favorite boys, the geks. The Glory has so many glorious moments. There's way too many goats on this show such as Moon, Mrs. Kang, Yeo-jeong, Mr. Ha, and Ye-sol, the old teacher, and also the one school friend. love them all. Yeah there's much to be unraveled in these last episodes... Can't wait for you guys to witness all its peak!

Betsy

True I forgot that part when I typed this. I haven't watched this show since it came out. He got trimmed but not because he wanted to lol

Kim 555

I watched the first 4 episodes with you and I had to wait for episode 3 and 4 to drop and it felt soooo long. After that I binged the rest of the show in 3 days by myself and now I'm re-watching y'all react to it

S Moonchild⁷

Jaejun being nice to dogs and being funny are his only redeeming qualities. Ha Da-young is my GOAT as well!! In Asia having scars is a big deal, historically you couldn't even be a king or queen if you had any scar on your body. Even now scars, burns, even tattoos are seen as bad things tainting your skin. Having so many burn scars all over your body is really shocking for people and they will look at it and maybe judge you without even knowing how you got them. If you remember when Moon was young working in factory, everyone assumed she had cigarette burns or her being problematic somehow. In mafia circles, yakuza and stuff they will scar people as a punishment as it is worse than dying sometimes.

S Moonchild⁷

Actors who play Da-young and Moon have so much chemistry, I wish they played a couple in other show, cause here their romance is not possible and would ruin the revenge storyline and character of Moon.

Ayoodude

I hate the mom character. She almost makes me want to stop watching ..so annoying 🙄🙄 I’ve seen the show already

rvsty

😎

raeven b.

Imagine getting a “Who Tf Did I Marry” story time from Ha Doyoung on TikTok? 😂 in this universe? I would’ve been SEATED, man! He’d have thousand of bachelorettes in his dms A lot of me feels like TikTok would be beneath someone like him, but goodness, just imagine lol

raeven b.

I really thought that as a possible direction for the story early on, and it would’ve been fun to see—Dongeun seducing and having a steamy love affair with yeonjin’s husband. I would’ve LOVED to see it too. I was hoping for some kind of scene of her making out with doyoung and looking straight at her while his back is turned. Lol I wanted her to steal her man AND have the doctor, at the same time! 🤣👏🏽 But the direction they went was genius—I love this masterpiece. A girl can dream though

raeven b.

I think that’s the most ironic part about jaejun or any of his “friend” group is that no one is treated well around them. But jaejun and Louis? That’s his precious baby.

Betsy

It's bittersweet 😭

Betsy

It is pretty funny. Louis is the only exception. He's Jae-jun's ray of sunshine while the rest are literally dirt to him lol

Betsy

Me too, Merry. He's such a well written character and is a good person that loves his daughter with all his heart. It's beautiful.

jrnoodles

Thank you! This episode cooked. This is my first time watching this show.

mane

can't wait for the next drop aahhhh

Mona

Omg crazy idea bring the ladies to watch these kdramas pleaseee ‼️

mina

bitch who'll end up in a ditch was so good hahahahaha, love auntie kang

MADHOUSE

My first time watching the show along with you guys. I always heard good things, but had no idea what it was about until you guys started reacting. I'm debating if I should binge the rest on my own because of how good it is lol

ash

second time watching this show and it is soo crazy, the pacing and the way the show is structured really keeps you on ur toes

Madison

gonna be so sad when you guys finish 😭😭

Misfai

Next Kdrama should def be „My Name“ it has only 8 ep. Pls pls do check it out. I’m 100% sure your not gonna regret it

Misfai

Some recommendations for the next Drama/Movies: 1. my Name (K-Drama) 2. 20th Century Girl (K-Movie) 3. the witch: subversion (K-Movie) 4. Twinkling Watermelon (K-Drama) 5: A Business Proposal (K-Drama) 6. Bloodhounds (K-Drama) 7. It’s okay not to be okay (K-Drama)

Betsy

I couldn't agree more. They both make the other stronger and are each other's light. Well said, Amira.

J. Arwen Jade

I want them to watch When Life Gives you Tangerines sooo bad 😭

chris

I recommended it in last vid too haha! it's so good right, han so see was phenomenal, ps: they both have the same haircut!

raeven b.

I agree about My Name, but I think it's pretty clear the guys need a lighter drama after this one lol at this point, they believe every kdrama out there is just depression. I want them to see My Name, too though, because it's phenomenal. I just think there should be a break from the dark/grey/low light/ grimy mood.

raeven b.

Cute little detail: Looks like Dongeun has Mrs. Kang on her phone as "emo-nim" which would translate to something like "miss aunt". But I'd like to believe it's "missus auntie". may as well right? so cute.

지원

SO GOOD I CAN'T WAIT BETTER AND BETTER

jared

First time watching; and, husband is the goat; and, this show is so good 👀

Melissa

i watched this show back when it came out and i forgot like 80% of it so this is such a fun rewatch lmao

LaurAbroad

Are they gonna cut her lips off?? 💀 I swear the dark places this show takes their minds haha

Joie Dianzon 🇵🇭

42:41 - 😭😭😭 Cannon is so baby boy. I love his animated reactions. Has anyone already mentioned that actors of Dr. Joo and Yeon-Jin are real life lovers? 🥰

Misfai

Yes Han soo hee in My name was such a baddie 😮‍💨🤌🏽

Anya

Yeo-jeong so devious, I love it! I love her crashing out even more!

humbleandkindness

49:47 Cannon's scream too, got me lol,, and i remember when the news first broke hehe it was chaos

humbleandkindness

32:52 all four of them making the same face made me laugh

mini

It’s not really a cuter tone- it’s just a general tone, more like the “Miss Aunt” you first mentioned

mini

43:45 “Thank shibal” Carter LMAO 😭😭😭

vicc

Craving more 😭😭

raeven b.

Thank you for the clarification. I figured it wasn’t a cuter tone since she’s a very straightforward character, but I thought it was still cute that she had her as aunt on her phone instead of just her name.

katie_belle⁷ ⟭⟬

We owe the Geks a lighter K-drama after going back-to-back with the stressful (yet amazing) Weak Hero and The Glory. I’ve been strongly recommending and campaigning for "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" It’s inspirational, heartwarming, and still has just the right touch of tension. Such an incredible show!! ✨

Rubyjane

people are saying that they are planning their wedding after he returns from his military service(rumored)

katie_belle⁷ ⟭⟬

Those shows were amazing, but we’re going for something lighter this time, they deserve a break from the heavy themes 😅. Hopefully, they pick Twinkling Watermelon or Business Proposal first!

a_daichi

I LOVE the moment Moon takes her jacket off. Such a power move and for Husband to finally see the atrocities Yeon-Jin did

Betsy

Me too!! It's so good! She's starting to lose it and crumble apart now Hehehe

LaurAbroad

Auntie Kang is the GOAT. Angel in a show full of devils 💗

sofi ✿

I watched until episode 8 when it first came out, but when season 2 dropped (ep. 9–16) I was so busy with college that I missed it and never went back, so now I’m finishing the series with you guys. The plot is cooking right now, and I can’t wait for the next episode!

Nikita

I personally don't think it would ruin the character of Moon but I know some people do. What is your reason for thinking this?

Nikita

Carter on Moon x Husband ship! 😄 YEEESSSS 🥳 Jack, to me, it would be terrifying to hear someone question about a murder you committed as you're about to pass out before an operation. He also probably did it for the other reasons you guys mentioned too. But originally, when I first saw that scene, I just took it as him wanting to psychologically torture her for that moment. Especially with the comment about the air in the syringe. This is my 3rd or 4th watch and I'm still noticing things I didn't before 🧐 lol Yeah Cannon, HUSBAND is the GOAT. He's my favorite character. NOOOOO it's almost over! 😭😭😭

Lil Mimi

Hope u enjoy it bro its so good

Lil Mimi

Shibal shibal shibal!!!!

Lil Mimi

Mckay that young doctor and Yeon-jin are dating irl 😮 just a bit of tmi 😈

Sriju210 Gamer

please watch Itaewon class next or its okay to not be okay

raguoc00

For your consideration, “arguably” the best Kdramas of: 2023-Moving, Twinkling Watermelon, Revenant 2024-Lovely Runner, The Judge From Hell, Marry My Husband 2025-Trauma Code, When Life Gives You Tangerines Older shows including Happiness, Bloodhounds (season 2 coming soon) and my all time favorite Itaewon Class, a drama very similar to the one you guys described at the end of the first The Glory reaction. One where the revenge is about proving your worth and not taking down the bad guy per se. Disclaimer: “Arguably” is based on critical reception, viewership, and overall popularity. These are not necessarily my favorites, but ones I do think people would watch again with you guys.

S Moonchild⁷

I think love storyline overall goes against revenge plots, she is very focused on her goal to even think about love. Especially with her enemy's husband. I don't think she likes him, he is part of her plan and she was just intriguing for him. I can't see them working at all. Also not everything is about finding a man, some people are better without them. At least doctor is understanding of her revenge.

chaosmerchant

Second best! Jae jun as an adult wears some of the fiercest clothing

Jaydashed

I'm really looking forward to Study Group, so PLEASE watch that next!

Saggy

study group study group study group

raguoc00

Great show! Maybe too similar in theme (not in style) to Weak Hero? Maybe?

Ari

My kdrama recommendations (from a korean culture lover +15 years): Coffee prince, Crash landing on you, Vicenzo, Moving, WLGYT, scarlett heart ryeo moon lovers. I'd recommend boys over flowers but the original in japanese is 10 times better. It is called hana yori dango. The manga was so successful in japan. And then the live actions in japan and taiwan were superb as well.

Nasty

Mercy for None is also a recently released show, that is really good and brutal.

raguoc00

Agree….also Trigger! Check that one out!

jemmy

I love IOTNBO but they have really strict copyrights. It might have to be patreon only

Anya

Crash Landing on You is my favorite K-drama ❤️ Moon Lovers mention! 🙌

Anya

Lovely Runner!! ❤️

❣️ Vladlena ❣️

“Bitch who’ll end up in a ditch” — I love Auntie Kang! Let me tell you, I HATEEEEE Dong-Eun’s mum with all my heart, more than I hate anyone else in the show. She is the worst! 21:27 — Carter’s reaction when Yeon-Jin came into the plastic surgery clinic killed me 😂 It was as if he expected Yeo-Jeong to immediately rush at her with a scalpel

❣️ Vladlena ❣️

30:48 — “I lowkey want Moon to end up with husband” — I also wanted that on my first watch, but rewatching the show I started rooting for the doctor. They understand each other’s traumas so well, but Do-Yeong lives in a completely different world. So Yeo-Jeong is the better choice for her! 31:23 — “What if she and her husband had a baby and that’s his first baby” — Cannon is ready to start writing fanfics 😂😂😂

❣️ Vladlena ❣️

32:55 — Your reaction when the husband hit the table was priceless! Yeon-Jin drove the most calm man to the end of his rope! That’s a talent, honestly. 37:10 — “What if he killed him?” — Why am I not even surprised by this assumption? 40:10 — I knew you’d go crazy in this scene 😂 40:56 — “That’s the craziest thing I ever heard” — You just don’t know about Korean beauty obsession and how intense lookism is there, McKay. So it’s actually a pretty common statement in that society. 41:42 — “Sparks flying everywhere. Can you see it?” — Yes, I can, Carter! The chemistry is definitely there. 42:56 — When Dong-Eun took off the coat and showed her bare arms, that was such a brave and badass move. I have so much respect for her!

❣️ Vladlena ❣️

46:06 — “She’s gonna kiss him, she’s gonna make out with him” — Why the heck would she do that? The fact that she did this with Jae-Jun doesn’t mean she’s ready to lie down under anyone. She and Jae-Jun had a long fling. But she’s a villain, not a slut! Unfortunately, you once again misunderstood the character 😩 47:45 — “There’s no way she takes him” — McKay, you greatly underestimate Yeon-Jin, adrenaline rush, and, in general, female rage! 55:07 — “McKay was turned on” — That was a crazy comment, Cannon 😱😅

❣️ Vladlena ❣️

“What did you do to Son Myeong-o?” — This is one of coolest scenes in the whole show! The entire set-up with the filler infection was genius!!! I was totally gagged! And I love how you all froze when Yeo-Jeong asked the main question! And your theories about what he would do with Yeon-Jin were absurd and creative at the same time 😅 The ending of this episode might honestly be my favorite one! Just pure epic!

❣️ Vladlena ❣️

I also shipped hard Dong-eun and Husdand on my first watch, but I totally agree that in real life that can’t make it!

❣️ Vladlena ❣️

Something like this happens in K-drama “Eve”. It’s also a revenge story!

Mary_

I’ve been watching kdramas since 2015 but I never watched The Glory (idk why, but I just wasn’t interested in it). So, this is my first time watching the show, and I can’t believe I never watched it sooner. It’s so good!! I have the urge to binge watch the rest of the show, it’s so difficult waiting for 2 episodes a week, but I like watching along with you guys. (I actually do like husband and moon together, but I love the doctor too.) Please react to TWINKLING WATERMELON after the glory!! It’s one of my favourite kdrama. I know you guys will love it. Baku and Suho (from Weak Hero) are in it

Nikita

I agree I personally don't like when there's a forced love storyline in revenge stories. Which is why I actually am not a big fan of the doctor being the love interest, especially since he comes off very stalker-like in the beginning. In the real world, his behavior would seem creepy. Obviously they develop the character for us as an audience to like but I don't really see why Dong-eun would like him. She just finds him charming and caring I guess but overall their relationship seems random to me. SPOILERS AHEAD! . . . . . . . I saw that the show had no plans of continuing the husband being a love interest storyline after the first Go game they played because they showed us that the interest was one sided after that. And Yeo-Jeong was given a much more prominent role as a love interest so it was obvious they were going that route. However, if they were to develop Dong-eun and Do-yeong, I don't think it would ruin Dong-eun's character. She clearly respects him and doesn't want to harm him and he respects her desire for revenge.

Talia_Al_ Ghul_I

49:45 he said "nauurrrrrrrrr" why do I feel attacked 😂😂😂 don't be like that mate. No shrimp on a barbie for ya yeah nah

Anya

🎉HAPPY BIRTHDAY CANNON!!🥳 🥂🍾May you be Blessed with many more & may all your wishes come true!! Get the geks to sing happy birthday to you, Marilyn Monroe style! 🎤🎶 Mr. President You guys didn't stream today :( so I posted it here!

Kaydee

tbf, its not that shes a slut who would sleep with anyone, but its because the story showed that shes a female character who is capable of playing up her feminine charms in order to get what she wants from jaejun, but the moment hes not looking, her facial expressions say that she doesnt actually feel any romance/attraction toward him.

Ghada

Day 1, with 7 episodes left dropping a comment to check out Bloodhounds. Gotta be the first to recommend it once this show done.

Saggy

YES

Mim

Jaejun’s shop literally never has customers is it me or

Mim

“What if dongeun and the husband have a baby and it was his first baby 😏” lmfaoooooo once you become a shipper there is no going back

Anya

Because everyone is excited about them getting into lighter dramas, it's inevitable. Usually first and last episode is heavy with it. Unless one of them tells us to stop, it'll keep coming. Not all saw McKay's focus on current show comment or heard Cannon say let's focus on the glory.

Jaz

I low-key expected a better reaction to her getting manipulated under anesthesia lol it was a big W for them.

Ninjinzo

my first time watching the show but with yall

Amira

Tomorrow!!🫣 I can’t wait for the next two drops

mina

it's still not an excuse. i am also excited and have so many dramas i wanna recommend, but i'm keeping quiet bcs i don't wanna ruin the experience for them.

Anya

Wow Amira I wasn't there for the got watches. They actually mentioned it recently in aouad and streams. People are just gonna keep doing it I guess lol

Anya

NEVER said it was an excuse mina! I just get both sides. I also want to rec but just stick to responding. That's why I said unless one of them say stop it'll keep coming!
