2025-09-20 01:54

Jack

We didn’t skip anything, and it is 5….

Earthshatter

pain, itachi, obito, jiraiya and naruto no order tho cuz i would spend too much time thinking

Aden

Oh hellllllll yeah

jemmy

I thought I was tripping when I saw 362 - 364

Earthshatter

i respect carter for stayin true to his OG fave gaara

Earthshatter

they cant count its all good XD hahaha

Rayanh Shequinah Nansha

In the spirit of your intro’s conversation, my top 5 is: 1. Sasuke 2. Itachi/Kakashi (I can’t choose) 3. Naruto 4. Madara 5. Gaara And I can understand Gaara being before Naruto. It’s not a bad take at all. As for Pain, he makes my top 10. What about your top 5 McKay?

Juan Avila

Fun facts, obito when he was a kid in rage is gons VA. She did two goated rage scenes, so cool to see anime VA’s that are iconic in other anime’s 😄

Sam Cam

Did u title the post wrong than ?

Sam Cam

The title says 362-364

victoria t

No dude you can’t read lol

Kesendo

PEAKRUTO

Sam Cam

Why would I lie i took a pic of it saying that so I was confused why it said that

Darrell Henry

Kobe slander while wearing a Lakers shirt is unacceptable. Still I think Carter has the best top 5.

zak

Sasuke first is PEAK

MCor

No mention of shikamaru in their top five is a bummer 😭

G

Day 73 asking for dub

Ashley K

It did say 362-364 earlier and they quickly edited the title

Marques 🗡️

Carter I’ll drive to wherever you guys live and fight you respectfully for that Kobe opinion

McKay Carter

No idea where to put Kakashi

Kesendo

My top 5 is 1. Sasuke 2. Kakashi 3. Itachi 4. Naruto 5. Jiraiya

Earthshatter

carter the master chef with the obito prediction since ep 119 and bro never folded stuck to his theory

Rayanh Shequinah Nansha

I do understand the Kakashi dilemma. I couldn’t place him either, but I also couldn’t not put him in my top 5, so he had to go side by side with someone… and now I’m realizing Kurama also makes my top 10.

Riley

Me: "Carter not having Itachi in a top 5 is kinda crazy". Carter: "I know I have a 0% chance of winning without Itachi". hahaha

Chrissy

Itachi Pain Naruto Jiraiya Kakashi cause he’s my boo Also honorable mention to madara cause obvi

Earthshatter

obito didnt use his rinnegan much cuz bro doesnt really spend time mastering it unlike nagato who spent years and madara who is just a G

Chrissy

Haven’t watched yet but I can’t wait for the reveal especially since Carter called it immediately a million years ago hahaha

Ashley K

Yess Cannon and Jack, defend our boy. Cannon’s list 👍🏻

Alex Ramirez

When Naruto was airing, I'm pretty sure 90% of the people watching it new fake Madara was Obito lol. McKay's desktop saver of Fake Madara spoiled he was Obito because it showed his mangekyo sharigan lol.

goblin.bones

Let's goooo 🔥🔥 gotta agree on the Naruto side too, Naruto is on top of the character list for me also!

Argent6

was waiting for this, I love how locked in the other 3 were and McKay's just smiling lol, this made my night thanks guys

Alex Ramirez

15:44 YES, Kakashi's Kamui is for long range while Obito's Kamui is for short range.

Alex Ramirez

Not that it spoiled anyone, it's just that it would have spoiled one of the Geks if they noticed his sharigan.

Jimmy

My top 5: 1. Madara (Dubbed VA is my GOAT) 2. Pain (Ideals + Villain who listens) 3. Itachi (Trolley Problem Legend) 4. Jiraiya (His death fucked me up) 5. Changes every minute

Earthshatter

56:04 congrats jack you found a plot hole!! ♥

The Void

Zetsu isn't speaking it's just Obito copying Madara voice, Shinobi can do that..... remember way back when Yamato transformed into Sasori at the bridge to talk with Kabuto and he had Sasori voice and everything?........yeah

Shon

NO NEJI IN THE TOP 5 PICKS?

Earthshatter

madara gave his eyes to nagato so that he would be rinne revived since he cant rinne rivive himself. also remember how kabuto said that madaras reanimation was special well its special in two ways no1 is the hashirama cells, (he showed us hashirama's face on his chest) and No2 kabuto reanimated madara young since the normal reanimations are brought back at the moment of their deaths.

EezzyFeezyCash

After that shippuden performance, the whole Hyuga clan needs to stay out of everyones top 10 except Hinata

Yusuf Riyandi

My top 5: Itachi, Naruto, Jiraiya, Minato, Pain.

Alex Ramirez

54:30 It was an animation error. In the manga he has the marks on the correct side of his face.

Jack mayfield

"what even is jutsu anymore" we all said this at one point LMFAO

Low

WHERE'S THE SHIKAMARU LOVE!?

Melizé

You COOKED, Jack! 🔥

jemmy

I just realized that even if Obito was manipulated, everything that happened after, whether he caused it or not, just continued to reaffirm Obito's beliefs about the world. Sort of like a feedback loop that only just exacerbated his nihilism. And before you can 'save' people like him, it would take A LOT. So it kind of makes sense they saved him till the end as a sort of the last villain if that makes sense.

Golladan

How do you go from 4.5 peak episodes to filler? It's Naruto, of course.

Carter D. Andrus

His name being Tobi just made it way too easy😂

Carter D. Andrus

His work ethic is worth 3 mvps right?😤😤

Carter D. Andrus

I’m a lebron lakers fan😂😂 but thank you darrell 😈

Spideycain

all of yalls top 5 list is valid want know why ? because its a unique list to YOU who cares about what other people think about your top 5 as long as you like it then i love it!!

Rohan

CINEMAAAAA

Nikki Pierre

Next 8 episodes will go crazy as well

Jack

A sad one

Jack

Makes perfect sense

Mitch

My personal would be Sasuke, sasuke, sasuke, sasuke, and prob sasuke 🙏🏼🙏🏼

Earthshatter

I for the longest thought it was Madaras younger brother

Jack

Makes sense, tbh Madara got the better deal with the reanimation, he’s young, immortal and has infinite chakra. Like what else could you want

Matthew Valentine

My top 5: Naruto, Sasuke, Shikamaru, Sai, Kakashi

Enma

Obito's kid va is indeed Gon from Hunter x Hunter and his adult va is Bellamy from One Piece

Jmo

Top 5: 1 Obito, 2 Minato, 3 Madara, 4 Pain, 5 sasuke

jblakk

I think alot of people sleep on JUST how enticing of a pitch Infinite Tsukiyomi is. Everyone on earth having their own paradise? Be it artificial, but still. Gotta be the most altruistic villain goal lol. It makes Pains look juvenile in comparison.

Michael H

Gotta go with Carter’s list, but they are all solid 👍

dancc7

2 HOURS 🕺🕺

Earthshatter

the reason i love obito so much is that he gave up on living he was supposed to be a matyr for the better of the ones he loved but he was given a second chance and his only hope inside that cave for months or even years was to go back to rin and kakashi. and to see the only thing that kept him sane be taken from him is so sad. you can imagine how someone that goes thru that believes that this reality hes living is nothing but a naightmare, that a genjustu is the true reality

Shon

Jack not beating the prewatched allegations 🧐

Shon

Now.. what did Hinata do in shippuden😭 also in Neji’s defense he shines a lot in the shippuden filler arcs that they probably will never watch

Alex Ramirez

Whoever has Kakashi in their top 5. Kakashi #1!!!

Earthshatter

also the reason madara gave nagato his eyes is that nagato was an uzumaki (an off branch of the senju) due to this he has enough chankra to wield the rinnegan. it wasnt given at random

Earthshatter

fun fact since nagato and kakashi had eyes that didnt belong to them they werent able to turn them off like the owners which is why madara could turn his mangekyo and then rinnegan and then go back to sharingan

Alex Ramirez

2:01:51 Nagato isn't Senju, he's an Uzumaki. However, the Uzumaki clan is closely related to the Senju clan, just like the Uchiha are.

McKay Carter

Top 5 lists are impossible with Naruto

Alien9

Tobito I think benefits from a second watch once you see his story to the end. Underrated villain imo. “So no more masks huh?”

Kesendo

Obito didn’t slip through the rocks. Madara was just trying to highlight how miraculous it was that Obito survived being crushed by the boulders when he said "It’s as if you slipped through them"

Alex Ramirez

I don't think that is true for the Rinnegan. The Rinnegan can't be turned off by anyone who has them. Try to remember every Rinnegan user and how their eyes never go back (Reanimated Madara doesn't count because it was an animation error)

Earthshatter

now we wait for 375 the best fight in any anime

Marcus D

6:25 my goat in HD. All of those goats in HD 🙏

Marcus D

I love the current opening these episodes are on

Earthshatter

true but the fact that he can turn it on opposed to him being reanimated already with it since his body had both clans implies that has control over it. nagato obv couldnt since it was his and the other.... he didnt awaken it, it was also given to him although thru diferent means. although you could be right

Liptrouski

Madara did say that nagato was a senju

BeautyWillSaveTheWorld

My favourite character is finally here! 🔥🔥🔥 What hurts the most is seeing how little and innocent he was, just like Naruto. Obito is what Naruto could've become

🪐

TOP 5: 1-Jiraiya 2-Kakashi 3-Might guy 4-Itachi 5-Tsunade Also, can we talk about how insane Obitos screaming was? I get chills every time I hear it. 💀

O

didn't realize how much I liked konan until we got to see her again

Earthshatter

Also spoiler! when Madara is defeated you do see him go back to his sharingan after the "ten tails" is extracted from him

Juan Avila

Debatable with another fight coming up, but cinema nonetheless

Codysz1

What a callback Carter, lol. I remember back when he called it sooo early on, from day one he knew it was Obito.

Juan Avila

My list 1. Kabuto 2. Kabuto 3. Sasuke 4. Sasuke 5. Kabuto My real list 1. PAIN 2.SASUKE 3. Kakashi 4. Jiraiya 5. Madara. And 6 through 10 is all debatable.

Marcus D

Obito’s Voice actor is the same one who did the silly Tobi voice, he’s also Bellamy from one piece.

Carter D. Andrus

I see tobi 3 times…the name should’ve been more different😂😂

Dakota

My top 5: 1. Naruto, 2. Shikimaru, 3. Minato, 4. Kakashi, 5. Jiraiya, HM: Itachi & [Redacted] and [Redacted] Gotta love when the filler sneaks up on you lol Also the sheer amount of times they show the same scenes of backstory over and over. I love this show, but it has that issue a lot. The "Zetsu Clones" are made of Hashirama's cells, but they were activated/given life by the Gedo statue's chakra. The reanimation is sorta weird but basically yeah its just a random body, and then you need some dna from the one to be reanimated. Not sure why the dna is just able to bind a soul to another body but thats up to the jutsu I suppose. Don't worry boys, answers will be given. Patience is a virtue :)

Aden

This is crazy 😭

Chrissy

Hahaha it’s so true! But I remember KNOWING and when it was finally revealed it was a relief and I was just ready for that backstory 😂

🪐

The amount of recaps is insane—they're recapping the recap! How is that even possible? Naruto is my favorite anime, but the studio is really testing my patience with all this rage-baiting.

Chrissy

Hahah I remember thinking the same thing, and I watched all filler 😩 It was taking sooooo long I started doubting myself lmao, like it was gonna be a big brain chess move. Of course it wasn’t 😂 but finally getting the back story, just to have more questions was great haha!

Chrissy

Nice shirt McKay!

Chrissy

It’s been ages and I think hashirama just died of old age? Honestly can’t remember lol. We’ll see!

Gyt

*Uzumaki

Patriicia

Good morniing, I have been waiting so long and finally its happening!

E

My top 5: 1. Naruto(the goat and best mc in anime) 2. Pain( my fav villain in anime) 3. Sasuke 4. Obito 5. Shikamaru

bigdog

Ohhhh YES!!!!

holyfuckingobito

You FINALLY get to see my husband. I love him to death <333

Rayanh Shequinah Nansha

lol why put your real list after and so down low, one would think it was a spoiler?

Hayden Ton

Are yall gonna do another mha binge? kind of need to, to catch up in time for season 8

Ashley K

You 🫵🏻

Kesendo

Damn Jack ate the Prediction Prediction Fruit. The Kakashi killing Rin prediction was crazy 😭

kuza

OBITOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Merry

I liked the top 5 ranking of Cannon and Jack🔥

Merry

I think now Hashirama should make an appearance, because there are too many daydreams being cooked up about him😂Love hashirama🔥and his nickname

Scarecrow

Please tell me we are watching Anbu Kakashi

Yusuf Riyandi

Nooooo, I hope they do not, 13 eps of filler is too long, which means 3 weeks we have to watch filler, they can watch it in their own, Kakashi isn't even in Geks top 5

Scarecrow

It’s so good though and adds so much to his story. If they watch it then that means we get to watch more Naruto with them. Why rush it?

Scarecrow

And I don’t agree with watching all the filler but that one in particular doesn’t ruin or contradict any of the main story

ooAlmondMilk

TOP 5: 1. Shikamaru 2. Gaara 3. Naruto 4. Jiraiya 5. Rock Lee

jblakk

I agree with you but Yusuf is right. They're not Kakashi stans like us. Its not worth. But It really does complete the character and help characterize Yamato too.

Scarecrow

Maybe they just need more of kakashi’s development to put him in top 5. When you see what he went through to overcome everything it makes future stuff hit so much deeper

Den Wolf

I never liked Obito, I honestly feel that out of all naruto villains, he is the most ridiculous and least justified. Of course I understand that every person feels and reactions to the world differently, but still.

Yusuf Riyandi

I never say that Kakashi Anbu is bad, please don't misunderstand, it's just that the pace is currently good.

Agc

Jacks doing doakes level predictions today lol

Rayanh Shequinah Nansha

The last bit of the outro seriously cracked me up: 1. Cannon going “I need to know why Kakashi killed Rin, how the F Hashirama died and then I need to know if Konan has time for a relationship outside of the Akatsuki’s goals”. 😂 2. Jack questioning the most obvious thing was the strangest of things. Everytime he watches Naruto, he never takes what characters say as fact. Even when more than one character confirms it. His back and forth with Cannon had me in tears. Then Carter saying “wake up to reality” 😭 Jack, it’s like Kakashi not being a Uchiha and having a Sharingan. Same idea. That’s how Nagato ended up with the Rinnegan. It’s that straightforward.

Alex

they've already said they'll do another one or maybe two mini binges don't worry

harls

TOP 5 Gaara Naruto Kakashi İtachi Shikamaru/ Minato

Alex

Uzumaki but he's a descendent of the Senju clan also

Rayanh Shequinah Nansha

While I agree specifically because I think Sasuke’s reasoning makes more sense to me, I think that as far as Obito goes, it’s important to remember that: 1. He’s young 2. While he wasn’t alone, he was essentially confined in a dark room with only good memories and hope for the future playing a loop in his mind. So seeing what he saw broke him and simultaneously convinced him of the futility of life, so embracing project Tsukoyomi made sense for his character. An all out war against the entire world is still crazy though.

atseku

Now that we know the backstory, we need to know if the geks are more of an obito or itachi. Would you sacrifice the world for your loved ones or sacrifice your loved ones for the greater good

holyfuckingobito

At 1:38:27, no it isn't Zetsu talking it's Obito. Let's not confuse them

Maj

That scene of the moon slowly turning red and raining blood at the end of 345 is unbelievable man. I don't remember it being so cool when I first watched it

Marcus D

Don’t really have a top 5 so here’s my top 4, not in any order: -jiraya -Killer Bee -might Gai -Minato

Den Wolf

I just find that, in a world where souls truly exist, he is after an AI generated girlfriend at any cost. Causing wars, genocide, killing his clan, his sensei, his sensei's wife and so much more. Compare that to nagato, kakashi, sasuke, itachi and others who had much worse lives and he just looks so pathetic.

mako_

5 episoders are always a treat thanks geks

stako

im surprised nobody said Shikamaru

Thomas

Obito is most comparable to Nagato (inverted), I left a comment above explaining his ideology.

Thomas

Obito’s ability to escape into his own world is symbolic of his ideology of escapism. By erasing free will and human desire (the desire to live in reality and achieve peace in reality), rejecting reality itself, and escaping INTERNALLY into a world of only dreams (infinite tsukuyomi), shinobi can reach true salvation. Free will leads to desire (to protect, to love) which leads to conflict (war) which leads to suffering. So the only way to truly end suffering is to erase free will itself. Nagato’s answer to the cycle of hatred was to turn hatred outward: his solution was to establish peace through fear and shared trauma, i.e. “those who do not understand pain will never know true peace.” Obito’s answer is to turn that hatred inward: his solution is for shinobi to escape out of reality and into illusion (this is essentially inverted Plato, i.e. escaping out of illusion into reality). His solution is to negate desire entirely. Nagato is the curse of hatred projected outward, and Obito is the curse internalized. This is why Obito’s ideology is so chilling: unlike Nagato (who wanted to reshape reality through fear), Obito wanted to abandon reality altogether.

Thomas

One common misunderstanding is that Obito started the war for Rin. First we need to understand how hatred manifests in the cycle of hatred: love -> loss -> hatred -> action. Both Nagato and Obito truly love the shinobi world, and they both believe that salvation can be attained through extreme means. Madara too possesses love, though his action and version of infinite tsukuyomi is more around authoritarian order (solution to warring states era). That said, his ideology is the same—“wake up to reality” is the idea that reality itself is an illusion that one must awaken from. Where Obito and Madara are similar is the absurd and psychotic willpower to make it happen. Obito’s connection is more personal and he wants everyone to be able to live in their ideal reality, which is only possible by rejecting reality. “I’m no one”— to be someone would be to embrace reality, and that goes against everything he is trying to achieve. His name and his identity are irrelevant, and his rejection of reality mentally and physically makes him a ghost that haunts the world with peace through Tsuki no me as salvation. I love how Kishimoto portrays Obito’s ideal through his thoughts and symbolically in Kamui—the way it ties into the cycle of hatred is beautiful.

Ninjinzo

yh and he can handle rinnegan cos he's a senju decendant, from the Uzumaki clan and their chakra.

Jonas Teigen

Cannon cooked so hard in the intro both with character list and the take on Naruto as a character

Devam Jaiswal

Obito is so powerful because: 1. He is an Uchiha (two 2 clan in the world). 2. He has Hashirama Cells (white zetsu body). 3. He was also trained by MADARA UCHIHA personally for months. 4. The fact that his Mangekyo ability is so versatile and strong (which every Uchiha gets randomly, its luck based). 5. Extremely motivated because of the pain he suffered.

Frosty (edited)

2026-10-28 12:00 someone needs to explain to carter that not every shinobi can learn every justsu ever created... every 2 episodes he says "why dont more people just use x jutsu?"
2025-09-20 11:36

Frosty

also surprised 500eps in, were still confused about people like orichimaru and kabuto (and now madara) having peoples cells... their entire life goal was to know EVERYTHING justsu related in the world, so just on a really surface level, its not that wild that they would go out of their way to grave rob for some dna or whatever other very feasible way they would gather something like that

Golladan

Who even mentioned Kakashi anbu?

mike wiz

I feel like obito did awaken mangekyo to escape the boulder and just didn’t realize it from the shock of what happened to him, just like how kakashi awakens it when rin dies and is only able to use it once he’s much older. Obito probably just reawakened it when he saw kakashi kill rin.

MCH

Kakashi Obito Jiraya Minato Shikamaru

MCH

Please watch the kakashi chronicles, it adds a lot of context to his story.

Lemonsqueeze

Top 5 characters: Tenten Sakura Tonton Udon Kabuto

Hafsa

in conclusion: the mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell lmao

BeautyWillSaveTheWorld

I always love to mention the symbolism related to Obito. In art, it's very common to depict people with only one eye visible, as a sign that they are incomplete. For example, Judas is often shown in profile because he is not a whole person. Since Obito took on the role of deciding who lives and who dies, he has always had only one eye visible. And when he turned around after the massacre to look at Kakashi over his shoulder, it was beautifully portrayed. Also, the symbolic moment where he couldn’t touch Rin at first—besides the fact that this is related to his Mangekyo Sharingan—also ties into the idea that, in his sin, everything pure slips away and is out of his grasp. By receiving the mask, he truly becomes what he once said he was: nobody. A person without an identity. And what hurts the most is the direct similarity to Naruto. They are absolutely the same—this is why this episode is so impactful, because we have the contrast between the lighthearted atmosphere at the beginning, and the absolute devastation at the end

Patriicia

Obito is such a great character

hawa

i cant wait for next weeks eps omg

Kalizarin

Never really thought about my top 5, think it'd probs be something along the lines of: 1. Kakashi 2. Jiraiya 3. Nagato 4. Minato 5. Naruto huh. laying it out like this kinda exposes how much i like that teacher-student lineage lmfao

jemmy

That's some AOT-esque question. We already know Eren's answer.

Izaya

If you wanna have more context about all this just make sure to watch kakshi Shinden later on on the show. DO not skip it. Its cannon content about all of what happened to Kakashi before, during and after all this

Izaya

Bro, Jack just called Nagato, one of the only remaining direct descendants of the Senju clan, a random kid... and only few seconds after they explained it too... Then yall wonder why i complain... Sometimes bro watches the show with eyes closed... and im suppose to stay quiet? lol.

Dub_quinn

I agree with Carter, Naruto causes the change but it doesn’t feel like he’s changed too much. At least not to the extent of Gaara

Izaya

Everyone with with red hair could be potentially from Senju and Uzumaki bloodline. Hashirama's wife Mito was Uzumaki. Karin and Nagato are Uzumaki descendants so they could have Senju blood too if they were descendants of Hashirama. If Madara gave the Sharingan to Tsunade she could awaken the Rinnegan too. Its that simple.

Cerv

yes. you need to relax brother

Gyt

Kakashi will climb up y’all list if y’all watch 349-361 ‼️ it ain’t fillers , u not only gonna get his story but young Itachi and Shisui as well , it’s a great backstory that answers some questions and expand the actual manga

Carter D. Andrus

This is why I said he had to have gone slightly crazy with Madara or something because I lowkey agree

holyfuckingobito

Bro what? It shows how Kakashi lived through all these years after Rin and Obito died, and what happened during the Kyuubi attack and what happened to Itachi and Shisui. Correct me if I'm wrong but from what I noticed the geks LOVE a good backstory. So I don't see why not

Pablo O

Y'all NEED to watch that the end credits for this arc when you finish it! Don't even care if you don't film it. It gives me CHILLS every time I watch it!

kuza

been so long since my first naruto watch that on the rewatch alot things feel "new" in a way, this is so good man 😭😭

bondbond53

Obito is Naruto's most polarising villain. You either love him and find him the most representative of the show's themes or you dislike him

bondbond53

Now you must question what Kakashi felt when he stabbed Haku through the chest in the Land of the Waves. The Hidden Mist shinobi in this episode is a subtle throwback to Haku too

kuza

my goat finally revealed ! 🤧🤧

kuza

young kakashi and obito are so drippy dawg

Earthshatter

Guys was it ever confirmed what Mackay said, the whole Zetsu being tobi cuz I always thought it was Obito just changing his voice similar to what Yamato did when impersonating Sasori

Earthshatter

Bro imagine if Hashirama died from cancer 🤣 His regeneration is tied to cell division. That means his body is constantly replacing and repairing cells. In real biology, more cell division = higher chance of mutations = higher chance of cancer. So ironically, his ability might actually make cancer more likely.

kuza

some good jack cookage in here

JAN NARUTO

rewatching all of this was utterly painful im so depressed. this show makes me feel something that breaks me inside. I LOVE THIS SHOW LOVE THIS SHOW LOVE THIS SHOW

JAN NARUTO

Obito is one of the best written characters in the naruto verse. His actions are all justified. Fuck this take me to the dream world

JAN NARUTO

My man Kakashi suffered all these years visiting Obitos and Rins grave every single day he deserves his backstory to be watched

kuza

I'm In Hell.

JAN NARUTO

I also heard that in the myth Izanagi washed his right eye and Tsukuyomi was born or smth. Obito sees the world through his right eye and sharingans are the eyes of hatred and his Kamui is his ability to escape rality and live in his own tsukuyomi

JAN NARUTO

and also re symbolism when the MS is activated both Kakashi and Obito fall, Kakashi physically and Obito morally. And like how Obito is portrayed here the right side of him is covered in blood dark Obito, while the other side is clean his true self which is dead. Or like when he asks “Where am I? where in the world is this place?” while turning into a beast. He might say this bc he’s in the Kamui dimension but it also means that he’s completely lost himself

JAN NARUTO

Obito passing through Kakashi (technically stepping) to reach Rins body is diabolical

Kite

my list: Kakashi Naruto Jiraiya Gaara Sasuke (he was my goat when I was a kid so I can't take him out of my top) HM: Guy Sensei

terror squad

I LOVE Cannons genuine disgust for filler lmaoo

Benjamin Knock

Very glad I checked in last week to see what episodes y'all were on. Peak

JAN NARUTO

Thanks to the goat from discord for getting 345 uncut and to McKay and the Geks for making it happen this is premium shi fr

Richie Sour

You guys can finally watch the obito rin edits that was my entire childhood 😭

Richie Sour

“I’m in hell” is one the best episodes in the show… it’s insane

Gyt

Kurama definitely top 5 for me 🦊

JaJa

Jiraiya 🐐

Richie Sour

Also there used to be a huge conspiracy video on youtube saying tobi was obito, it was such a cool watch as a kid!

Richie Sour

They should watch it, there’s too much good stuff in there especially for his character

Richie Sour

Also shoutout jack man what a call

Richie Sour

My og king downgraded to a filler main character 💔

Scarecrow

I’d say they love a good backstory*. But yes, I don’t think it will ruin the pace to watch it at all. There’s no other good spot to fit it in moving forward either.

bfc2307

Sasuke Deidara Sasori Itachi Obito

Richie Sour

I just watched the end of the video LOL that’s it mckay

Nanami's Wife

My top 5 are: Naruto Itachi Kakashi Minato Obito Honorable mentions for #6-#13: Jiraiya, Shikamaru, Pain, Guy Sensi, Gaara, Sasuke, Tsundere, Sakura I’m surprised none of the geks said Kakashi tho

Nanami's Wife

I caught up to Naruto reactions at the perfect time. On my first watch, I made the same assumption as Carter and guessed Tobi was Obito early on. It just made so much sense, but then the show would trick you soo good thinking it’s Madara 😂 Also I'm just now realizing Carter is wearing the Lakers x Luffy shirt, the goatttt

Synapse Surge

"Descendant of the Senju", but they've already said in the show that Nagato is an Uzumaki. Which means someone else we know also has Senju blood...

KrisSto

We got the same except i have sasuke instead of jiraiya

Gyt

Bruh Zetsu is not doing Madara's voice it’s Obito 🤣

Mona

I’m so proud of Jack and Cannon lol they understand the sharingan so well. Jack’s theory by watching the flashback so spot. Cannon idk if he’s aware but he called it long ago that its the same eyes, during Sasuke’s and Danzo’s fight. When Kakashi arrived and saw fake Madara. He called it and said it was the same pattern. 🙂‍↕️

Mona

Cannon u actually noticed that kakashi and madara’s eye were the same long before during sasuke’s and danzo’s fight. !!!

Mona

Jack u cooked!!

Mona

“The mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell” LMAO WHY CARTER

Mona

I’m glad you guys aren’t comparing this story with other shows or movies! Like this villan arc is like Star wars 😔

Kite

tbh everyone knew back then that it was Obito

LuvStarburst

I agree with Carter and since the beginning Naruto has been crying for Sasuke for too long when Hinata is right there wanting him.

Yo Dani

im sorry ya'll, but Kakashi is my fav. I do like Jirayia, Itachi, Minato, Shikamaru, Orochimaru, Pain and Neji, but if i had to choose one, it would be Kakashi.. (im not counting Naruto cuz thats obv) also im upset you complain about some characters being irrelevant or not showing up much, when you literally skipped fillers that are about side characters and their development..

Yo Dani

Freaking Kakashi becoming Jounin at 11-12 y.o is crazy

Stanley Snyder

These episodes really got Cannon and Jack so stressed 😅. And of course, the Uchiha men with their never-ending deep love… they always get me 🥹💕

Yo Dani

Jack for fk sakes.. Madara already said in the beginning that he gave his real eyes away and the ONE that he HAS NOW is a transplanted one.... they also explained why they gave it to Nagato.. cuz he's of Senju descendant clan (also as we learned a Uzumaki like Naruto.. and UZUMAKI clan HAS BIG CHAKRA POOL) ..... So... Big chakra pool + senju + rinnegan... just pay attention. You start talking 24/7 again without listening

LuvStarburst

There's only theories on how the 1st died and one of the favorite ones that i heard is how his body just heals by itself without weaving any signs is that his body just naturally broke down from his own healing factor. Just like how Tsunades 100 healings jutsu is forbidden cause of how it works is basically how the 1sts body worked.

Yugi

He is literally one of the best Naruto reactor out there

Yugi

🫡🫡

Jeff

Naruto will always be amazing and all, but it was definitely towards these latest arcs that I also wondered where ninja style naruto went and when it started to really become more of 'powers and magic' style.

JayCnY

jack pisses me off sometimes,

Chris Schwirz

Obito my favorite cannon I think the infinite tsyukiyomi is such an interesting plan

JayCnY

one of the few back stories deserving to be watched

JayCnY

same.

McKay Carter

What are you cookin in there

JayCnY

im in the same boat. i love kashi and his backstory, but postponing more peak for 13 episodes does sound bad lol

JayCnY

I meant this totally insincerely. I have been a fan of the Geks for quite a while now. I have defended this man in the comments more times than I am comfortable admitting too. He is by far my favorite Gek. No shade. I just relate a lot to his personality. HE JUST PAYS ATTENTION SO WELL. In other shows like Dark, My Hero, AoT, etc he just has fantastic recall/theories, but he's just so on point with Naruto it's insane. He almost guessed the entire MS awakening by Obito off such little information.

Jack

Ohhhh 😂 I was just sitting there and I knew Kakashi had to have killed someone who was his friend and they had never talked about Rin so it made sense that she was dead and it was a very sensitive topic, idk it just made sense I guess. Although the actually moment was way worse than I thought

Nashi

Mckay you could help them a little with some information now and then. Like on the nagato rinnegan discussion lol.

JaJa

Lmao same McKay 😂I didn’t realize shit but it made the reveal better for me

Cannon Andrus

Oh let’s go. Thanks for keeping the receipts

Gyt

1:38:24 I swear I heard it fam

San

Ur not understanding the full concept of sharingan. Sharingan can only be used to its potential by only a uchiha. It's in there blood line. Kakashi isn't a uchiha so he doesnt have that special blood to be have certain think that true uchiha will. Next sharing use alot of Chakra. Even a base sharingan it self use a lot of chakra, thats y Kakashi doesn't use sharingan that often. Cause it takes pretty much all his chakra to even maintain sharingan. Next comes mangakyo sharingan which even more powerful that base sharingan. Which means it will require even a greater amount of chakra. Now to clarify you guys thought Kakashi and obito uses same sharingan and they did turn into mangakyo at the same time but the only reason Kakashi couldn't use it until later on cause he didn't have that vast amount of chakra needed to use mangakyo sharingan.

March Natapat

Not sure if this info is obvious or not. Also, correct me if I’m wrong. Each mangekyo sharing-an/eye contains different ability depending on the user. Itachi: Amaterasu & Tsukiyomi Sasuke: Amaterasu & Flame Manipulation Obito: Short-ranged kamui Kakashi: Long-ranged kamui Madara: still unknown til this day

Joey Zero

I mean, they were throwing water dragons at each other in episode like 7

Joey Zero

Not everyone. There were countless YouTube videos guessing who it could be. Other popular theories were a Danzo clone, and future Sasuke.

Joey Zero

I'm almost positive it's just Obito using the transformation technique to change his voice

holyfuckingobito

It's Obito changing his voice, you think Zetsu has any control or authority to move like that

Groggysaurus

Remember kakashi telling sasuke that everyone he loved was already dead? ...

zoldaic

The good old times when the Ichiraku guy was Tobi

Gyt

Akatsuki means new dawn btw

Earthshatter

I might be burning the kitchen 🤣

BeautyWillSaveTheWorld

I mean, it's obvious he went crazy. No one would remain normal after everything he witnessed and went through. First, sacrificing himself for his friend, then giving him his eye, and then seeing Kakashi kill Rin. After that, in a fit of rage, he slaughtered every Mist shinobi present. We heard him scream his lungs out—he was definitely gone at that point. We also have to remember that after all of that, he had nothing left. He was just a pure-hearted kid when Madara, the ultimate manipulator, conveniently appeared and told him that there might be a way to fix the entire world—to eliminate hatred and create a world where everyone could exist in peace. After everything he’d experienced, he had no choice but to cling to that last glimmer of hope. That perfect world Madara spoke of became the only thing he could believe in. And when someone truly believes in that kind of world, they can justify any sin they commit as being for the greater good

Dub_quinn

Anytime McKay looks at the camera grinning I die laughing hahah

Volt

I liked the discussion about characters but I think subtle change like Naruto is undervalued these days. A lot of people give hype to characters like Endeavor and Eren for good reason but characters like Izuku and Armin for example are fantastic in their own way in how they mature as the story goes on even if it's not a crazy jump in character.

Rayanh Shequinah Nansha

Jack doesn’t believe anything Madara says lmfao. Even when other people say it’s true, he still doubts it just because Madara said it first. He didn’t even believe it when Itachi confirmed the truth about his past at first. I don’t know what it is, but something about Naruto characters (especially Madara) just makes Jack distrustful so I think he just dismisses stuff.

jemmy

If I had a nickel for every time Kakashi killed a character with lightning thru the heart, I'll have two nickels.....etc etc

Alien9

I love the recognition of Guy by them in these episodes. I’ll take to my deathbed that he was the most powerful ninja in Naruto from the beginning of the show to this point.

Gyt

Lebron this Kobe that……..Lionel Messi the 🐐

Gorira Kujira

I'm in Hell is probably my favorite episode, the rampage is legendary and the shot with the moon and blood raining down from the corpses impaled on the trees, it's so good

Ordinary Guy

Are we only getting 3 episodes next week? Cuz in my notification, you guys uploaded the wrong episodes which are 362 - 364. So, I assume that you guys have already watched them and ready to upload

David Debow

the funniest part of this to me is Carter giving biology lessons towards the end 😂

jrnoodles

Thanks Geks! This whole of Naruto started because Obito got his heart broken, lol

Jack

This was such a good batch of episodes, they did the twist and backstory so well guys. I love Naruto’s storytelling

BeautyWillSaveTheWorld

One of my favourite episodes for sure! Obito's rage is peak cinema 🙌

Richie Sour

Yes I think Naruto’s character development is actually underrated and very well done considering the length of the show

Argent6

fun fact: the hideout that Madara uses which later Obito uses is called the Mountains' Graveyard, at the north-most region of land between the Hidden Waterfall and the Hidden Sound villages.

Dub_quinn

These are the episodes where Jack just coooooks haha

itachi813

I won't say my top till the end.

Alexa Vera

I never once guessed it was obito till it was obvious

Alexa Vera

How tf did jack get it spot on as frick I hate him

Sage

Lol obito has a justified crash out but sasuke being manipulated since childhood is too out of pocket ?

Earthshatter

Fun fact after seeing rin die Obito eventually takes control over the mizukage and causes the mist village to fall into an era of extreme brutality and suffering, although he didn't make it the blood mist village his tyranny thru the 4th mizukage did embodied the worst of the blood mist village. so he made them suffer as retribution for the whole Kakashi/Rin situation

Earthshatter

Also this reign was the one that zabuza wanted to overthrow due to the gruesome circumstances the 4th mizukage(Obito) had the village in

Gyt

Haha righttttt

holyfuckingobito

Anyone knows if they're gonna watch kakashi anbu?

itachi813

You are comparing Madara to fake palpatine in that cuck Star wars movie. Blasphemy.

GooberM

my top 5 in no particular order is Naruto, Itachi, Jiraya, Shikamaru, and kakashi

GooberM

37:38 hey he cant say that

𝖘𝖑𝖚𝖒𝖕𝓏

Seeing the uncensored version of Obito vs the mist shinobi made me forget how brutal the original audio was😭

brog.

jiraiya and naruto in all 3 top 5 yep my goats

brog.

cannon best list jack 2 carter 3. leaving itachi out is fine if you want but naruto at 4 is where you lost me. mine is naruto jiraiya kakashi pain itachi.

DonDuh103

McKay be like guys this is just recap filler I just really wanted y’all to watch it again Obtios dead!

Zess

Well filler is ass, so side characters being truly developed through canon material is all that really matters. Non canon development doesnt matter in the slightest lol

Yo Dani

Thats just your opinion and thats fine. It doesn't mean that it is like that. Just because fillers are not part of the Manga, it doesn not mean that it cant be part of the story as a whole.

Patrick Wisdom

Carter's list is definitely the most based. I don't agree with it in any way, shape, or form, but sticking to your guns when you know it's not popular? So based

mochilikesmavis

confused how cannon agrees with obitos mentality and not sasukes, not disputing obito watching kakashi kill rin wasn't enough to send him over but sasuke seeing his clan murdered by his brother is the same no?

Sloth

That moment with Kakashi's hand piercing Rin's heart while everyone is staring at the screen horrified, but Mckay is just smiling lmao

MissJodles

Naruto, Kakashi, Jiraiya, Sasuke, Itachi, and Minato honourable mention. I stand by this list!

Naruto

When carters says it’s crazy that people put kakashi in a top 5 I almost crashed

alizé

I think saying that Obito is the most justified villain out of all of them when there’s villains like Nagato exists is funny 💀💀 all Obito did was lose his girlfriend that wasn’t even his

Ari

honestly, the truth about who is tobi is kind of an open secret. So it's not like wow you found out who he truly is, it's the how and why he became like this is what amazed me

PIRATE_QUEEEN

I don’t know, I definitely feel like it is deeper than that. Obito, the whole time he was down in that cave recovering, was thinking about getting back to Kakashi and Rin and being with them again. Wanting to grow stronger with Kakashi as the “ultimate tag team” and be able to protect Rin together. That was his whole drive for like a year. The only thing keeping him going and helping him recover faster. He had this whole view of the ways things would be once he got back home to his friends. And that all came crashing down when he comes across the moment his best friend kills the girl he loves. His sanity is literally shattered, which is why he claims he is in hell. He literally can’t comprehend how reality could have so different than what he had been dreaming of this entire time. I think that would break anyone. He was away from everything and everyone he knew for a year, down in the dark, his body hurt and weak, hearing a bunch of BS from Madara and Zetsu. He wasn’t in his right mind. So he was even more susceptible to a mental break. So him then declaring that nothing in this reality matters anymore, makes sense. I think both Nagato and Obito both have completely justified reasons for becoming villains. But I think I just feel more strongly for Obito. His backstory episodes are some of my top favorite episodes in all of Naruto. Nagato had an accumulation of a bunch of awful shit happening to him because of the war and eventually was tipped over the edge with Yahiko’s death. So his villain arc is completely justified as well. But again, it just didn’t hit as hard for me. And that is probably a hot take, but I stand by it. I can understand both sides of the argument on who is more justified, so I think it’s actually pretty even at the end of the day.

Justin ⟢

Might just be the greatest batch of episodes ever

Riya

Kakashi's backstory is one of the those flashbacks that really bring emotions with obito and rin introduction. I would even consider it the best flashback in any anime

Mark

I know its been a while since you commented but im pretty sure the flame manipulation is inferno style that sasuke uses which is the same 2 abilities that madara had amaterasu and inferno style which is just control of amaterasu and I assume they are the same bc they are both indras reincarnates
