Gotcha thanks! I figured since today is Friday so i was seeing if it was coming out today

Major

I cannot wait for the last episode of this season and the first of season 3! I’m camping so I’ll have to wait until I get back 😭

Sasha (Yare Yare Daze)

Jack yelled "Rain fire" as if he's the one attacking them😵‍💫

humbleandkindness

The comments complimenting drip the Geks have on are some of my all time favorites

humbleandkindness

It’s the way I tried to binge the rest of the series today and had to go to work before I could see the last episode, and now I can’t even watch this because I’m STILL AT WORK

.

good day to be a math major

Kim 555

Caden just gave birth mind you

Major

What do you mean gave birth?

McKay Carter

Oh hello greatest of all time

Chivi Moon 🌙

I'll be cooked in the first game. That math problem was hard as frick. It would take me at least 25-55min to solve it and I might even answer it incorrectly.

Alex

The flaming arrow game was actually originally the first game Arisu and his friends played in the manga but they didn't use it in season one! Glad we finally got to see this game!!

Alex

Jack saying this game would have never happened in the original when technically it was supposed to be the first game in the source material XD

Anya

Yes yes Carter remembered! It's the fighting spirit! haha McKay also mentioned consciousness. Remember, the Borderlands is the place between life & death. Your consciousness is tested to determine if your worthy of living or dying. The games forces them to confront their deepest fears & desires. It's all connected to your will to live! Fighting!

Anya

There's actually more source material y'all! There's so many games that weren't adapted from the manga, like this one! There are also two spin-offs. One is a direct sequel following Arisu 8 years later. The other spin-off introduces new characters in a different timeline. Good Fortune, Bad Fortune is the original 3♣️ game. This was the first game that Arisu, Karube, & Chota played & where they met Shibuki. The better Shibuki lol she actually helped them clear it. The live adaptation used Dead or Alive as the 3♣️ instead. Was soo happy & surprised to see this game being adapted! Excited to see if they adapt any more!!

Anya

YES! TY ALEX! SAME! Yeah, I was like uhh sir you take that back cuz the manga did it first! Hahah I hope they adapt more!!

Tivy

I made a comment under your 3x1 reaction that might answer your questions, McKay. I haven’t finished this season yet so I don’t know if things change (since it goes beyond the manga ending), but as of the end of season 2 it's revealed that the Borderlands aren’t meant to be sci-fi or anything, it’s a fantastical space. That’s why so much nonsensical stuff happens, like millions of flaming arrows or lasers that can get you from anywhere. The first season leans you toward thinking it’s a simulation or apocalyptic, but the end of season 2 reveals it’s more of a dreamlike “what-if” limbo between life and death. The meteor didn’t cause the games, and no person created or controlled them (this isn't like Squid Game lol). It’s just a brutal concept of where we fight to live while dying. The reason so many people appeared in the Borderlands at once was because the meteor caused mass casualties. And as they even discuss this episode, not everyone is there because of that event, it’s anyone who ends up in a near-death state. This season with people suddenly remembering and returning to the Borderlands does raise new questions, but as of the end of season 2 this is the understanding we’re meant to have. All this stuff with the Joker guy is supposed to be a mystery. I went into this much better in my last comment :)

Anya

0:48 "The whole rest of the K-pop world.." Is K-pop in Borderland too? hahah It's been soo long.🥀 We are in the waiting room & many of us are camping over there. 😞

Tivy

11:21 The collective jaw drop LMAO

christina

Without saying too much i'm still unsure on how i feel about s3. I'm still processing everything ig lol but i will say the games this season are by far my fav out of the entire show

Saki 🏴‍☠️✨❤️‍🔥

everyone getting zombified def seems like the easiest way to win, but i think the reason no ones willing to do that is even if everyone verbally agrees to go zombie theres an inherent lvl of trust required seeing as once people know ur a zombie literally anyone can kill u at any time, which is obvious of course but then u hafta account for all the different groups spread out across the building - even if ur group has that basis of trust, would u trust totalll strangers from another? and bcuz theyre spread out it could also b harder to know the true number of zombies vs humans and which is actually in the lead bcuz zombies can be killed or cured at any moment along the way

humbleandkindness

I KNEW IT,, I haven’t read this manga in years but I was like 85% positive that was the very first game

Poragami

not a hater but i couldn't care less about Alice in Borderlands, where is stranger things lmao

Kim 555

like after the 9th trimester he popped a baby

Luffers

Sorry but I couldn't care less about Poragami

Lil Mimi

Poro fckn gami let me touch you

Lil Mimi

Nah this season pretty hype I’m intrigued with these games

Lil Mimi

Does Jack drive a Subaru WRX?

Oscar

you guys are the best !!!

McKay Carter

Yeah my main confusion is the close ended way season 2 ended, it was very final and very well done. Then you add this new concept of being able to enter this consciousness willingly which I find weird, it wasn’t a “game” because it happened at random and during a natural disaster but now that people are seeking it, it feels more controlled and game like

Poragami

oho, light, slow down

Poragami

Kwisatz u care enough to comment, dont u

Tivy

Yeah I feel the same. The season 2 ending was so final and satisfying that I’ve always argued a third season isn’t needed. I’m still excited to see where it goes, but I just hope it doesn’t take away from how perfectly season 2 wrapped things up. I think the Joker card and the whole idea of going back into the games is probably meant to stay mysterious rather than fully explained, but hopefully this season gives us a bit of closure by the end 🙏

Catie C

I haven’t read the manga or finished s3 yet so anything I say is only speculation. From my understanding you enter the borderland when your heart stops and you are between life and death. It’s not specifically caused by one event so that’s why people enter the borderland at different times. Please feel free to correct me or tell me to delete my comment if I’m wrong.

❣️ Vladlena ❣️

I’m exactly that person who refuse playing this game, because it’s too complicated 😅

Tivy

You are correct. I haven’t finished season 3 either, so I don’t know if they changed it.. but this is supposed to be our understanding of how it works as of the end of season 2 lolll

Venus

just saw ep 3, im def not surviving ep 3 games

Venus

i think entering it willingly is just keyword for suicide. there actaully are people who purposely look for near death experiences as well

Tivy

This is what I assumed too. It’s not like it’s some special drug that takes people there, it just brings them close to death. The only thing confusing me is how the Joker guy is infiltrating the real world, but I haven’t finished it yet so I’m hoping to eventually find out.

Nyx

U care enough to comment under a Alice in Borderland episode 😆 🤣

Poragami

yeah, it was paired with another question lmao

Ko_Kuma

does anyone know if they have an upload schedule for this?

Nyx

😆

SuperChuckABoo

Yeah, I haven't finished this season either so I'm not entirely sure what direction they are heading with the borderland. I think from what we are suppose to understand from the last 2 seasons is that the borderland is just the border between life and death. So anyone that is near death is basically in this "border" land where they participate in these trials to have the ability to bring themselves back to the life. Whoever is in charge of the trials or "games" I think we are just to assume is some cosmic or spiritual entity, but now they throw in the Joker this season and I'm not sure. I don't think them entering willingly is a super strange concept either, there's been a lot of media around near death stuff and people trying to simulate it to "see the other side". There's like an older movie called Flatliners that is basically this concept of some university students that flatline themselves so they can see what the afterlife is like.

Tivy

I agree! Great points

floo

I think is everyday except week end

ninie

Fire arrows sound brutal

Betsy

Thanks guys! I'm finally getting caught up. Sorry traveling got me a little behind. I hate that I didn't get to join the conversations when the episodes dropped but I'm here now and looking forward to talking to everyone as well as some old friends, my AIB pals of course. Love you all 🤗

Betsy

I'm kind of tempted to binge the rest of the season or I might just wait and watch with the geks instead. But I'm very curious about the rest of the games. Ahh I can't decide haha

Venus

i went ahead and watched it lmao

Betsy

I might do the same lol

rvsty

This reminds me of Exploding Kittens card game, were they use lots of special cards.

Adri

dying for the next episode

Anya

More Alice in Borderland pleeeassee!! 🙏

Anya

Soooo did you binge it?👀

Betsy

Anya, I'm going to sound bad but I'm not completely feeling this season like I did with the other two. I still haven't finished episode 2 with the guys. It's taking me forever lol I feel like a fake AIB fan... But maybe if I binge the episodes, it'll change my mind. I felt so connected and intrigued in the first and second seasons. I was fully immersed. I feel kind of torn with this one but I love Usagi and Arisu, though. Did you binge the episodes? 👀

Fatipapi (Byakuya’s Girl)

that being said tho, this fire arrow game WAS insane and did have me on the edge of my seat

Zoë

why does Jack sometimes talk through the entire reaction, i get its a reaction but still, they miss some stuff cuz hes constantly talking and its kinda annoying

Zoë

yeah nah i couldnt finish this reaction and i probably wont continue this series with them cuz the constant yapping was ridiculous, so many stupid questions too like why dont you be quiet and watch the show then maybe you would know whats going on. literally asking whats the rules of the game as the show is explaining the rules smh

Pulse rifles suck in pve

this is a reaction. they are reacting. Are you just using them to watch shows for a discount or something? Otherwise you could just.... watch the shows... without the reactions....on netflix.....

Yo Dani

thank you.. at least im not the only one getting annoyed... and its with anime also.. with everything. I even notice some of the guys telling him to stop yapping.

Yo Dani

imagine he answered 7bil or 6bil hahaha 1-2bil arrows would've been insane to see

Yo Dani

The show explaining that there's a zombie in each team, meanwhile Jack saying "No" xDDD okay buddy, i guess you made the game lol
