I feel like if it had ended in that first initial punch it would have been too cliche cause you, me, the world were saying no way, it ending in that first punch would have seemed too easy for this determined evil guy cause he has so many cheap quirks and knows how to coordinate them. Especially cause he seemed so shook it didn't feel right even as a baby he wasn't shook to his core he was still calculative. The writing really leaves you on the edge of your seat that whole final two punches.

Yes! You did see Shigaraki (clearly as it showed his final moments) but because One for All was passed onto him, leaving Deku with only the Embers. The last person to hold One for All was Tomura Shigaraki.

Great reaction! This was such a great episode. I do agree that it would have been cooler if it had all happened from just that one punch, but it also shows how strong AFO is and how he is determined to keep his grip on this world Curious to see what the next few episodes are about as well

Yeah I feel like if it had all happened at once it would’ve carried all that built-up emotion straight through to the end, which would’ve been cool. But at the same time we probably all would’ve been like, ‘wait… that’s it? just one punch?’ It would’ve felt too easy or cliché. At least that’s how I felt when I momentarily thought that it really was the final punch lol.
