I really hope Horikoshi decides to do more with this story and these characters one day, although I think he gave everyone a good ending and wrapped everything up beautifully. Can’t wait to see your reactions to Vigilantes it’s such a great expansion on the world he built and the characters are so well written.

Such a beautiful moment between Deku and Uraraka. As Carter said, they truly deserve each other. Not every shounen author can portray the development of a relationship so purely the way Horikoshi did with Izuocha…genuine, gradual growth of feelings for both characters. It doesn’t feel like a last-minute pairing added just for the sake of romance. It feels earned, natural, and never forced.

I also love that he lost OFA because it comes back full circle to the first episode when he asked All Might if he could be a hero even without a quirk. The entire message of the show is that anyone could be someone’s hero if they just reached out to help no matter how big or small the problem is. It’ll matter in the end to the person receiving it. You don’t need powers to ask if someone’s okay.

That moment between Deku and Ochaco was so beautiful, i think this was the first moment where he's really said how he much he appreciates her and everything she's done for him as a friend. I'm glad Horikoshi didn't make Ochaco's personality all about her feelings for Deku (which is typical in anime) but how she cares so much about other people's happiness and feels so guilty that she couldn't 'save' Toga, best girl in the show for me. Also apparently there's going to be a special episode or OVA coming out so it's not officially over just yet but there's no release date for it :)

I agree that Deku losing OFA makes sense. OFA existed to stop AFO, and Deku fulfilled that. The story starts with him asking All Might if someone quirkless can still be a hero, and it ends with him proving that he can. Even AFO said the difference between Deku and All Might is that Deku carries the “power of weakness.” All Might was crushed under the weight of being the Symbol of Peace and had to retire because he never leaned on anyone, but Deku had to rely on others, grow from it, and eventually surpass him. Deku became so strong that if he kept OFA, he’d inherit the same burden of the world relying on him alone. Losing it doesn’t take anything away, it completes his arc.

Now that we’re heading into the final episode, It does seem like we might not get those extra epilogue chapters adapted. As someone who knows the manga’s content but isn’t a manga reader myself, I would’ve loved to see those animated. Regardless the conclusion is going to be great! I’ve heard the OVA rumours floating around, so if they don’t fit the extra material into next week I hope those end up being true.

✨You are forgetting nothing! Just go with it. ✨A lot of people already mentioned this but I love it so much too 😭 Bakugo and Todoroki hiding behind Iida is just so cute and so sweet. They rely on him like the class president and spokesperson he is! ✨This episode totally got me emotional. It was so painful to see Ochako hiding that pain. Deku too. Then he gave her the space she needed to cry, it just touched me. ✨Nothing's wrong with wanting Ochako and Izuku to be a couple (it's a popular ship and it's cute!) but I'm in the camp of "don't expect it like it's the right and natural thing" and I think it's worth examining why you want that outcome (in any story really). To me, Ochako is not a prize to be won. And neither is Izuku! Also, using their trauma as the reason to push romance is just....😬😕 Idk, I don't care for trauma bonding (as valid and as real as it is).

Yea im kinda disappointed they’re not adapting them into the main series. I feel like we’ll most definitely get them in an ova but it really doesn’t make sense to just not adapt everything at once

For real it’s honestly disappointing, but I didn’t want to come off as too negative.. But yeah I don’t get why they wouldn’t adapt it either, it makes no sense to just leave out canon content. They could’ve easily made it a 12 episode season 🤷‍♀️

It is super important and easy to forget - Even without a quirk this little kid was literally hauling around All Might on a goddamn fridge through sand. Midoriya is as peak human performance as one could get and he would be a very formidable force completely without powers.

And there's the true tragedy of Himiko Toga... Like Ochako said she had the ability to share her blood with people. If someone had been there to help her find the good in her quirk and how to channel it in a positive way (instead of ostracising and rejecting her for her quirk) things would have been different :')

Yah at the end of s5 when they’re getting ready to go to the first war they show a small kid with and endeavour toy staring at the allmight statue getting ready for his first day at school symbolizing the start of the new school year and the end of their spring break so yah the first war happened a day before or the day there second year was supposed to start lol.

So just found out that this weekend will be the final official episode HOWEVER there is going to be a MHA OVA episode released on December 20th as well that will adapt the extra chapters that Horikoshi released after the ending of the main story… so technically two more episodes! Plus! Apparently at Jump Festa 2026 they will be making a “plus ultra” announcement! Maybe another movie? Who knows!

I’ve never understood how people called the ending “trash” just because he lost the OFA. They state multiple times throughout the whole show that the whole purpose of OFA is to take down AFO. Naturally with him gone it only made sense that the power would be gone to. From a story perspective.
