Some of these are really long and don’t hold the same quality all the way through, which means they’ll take forever to react to. You’re already watching One Piece and finishing up Shippuden, so starting another huge series like TWD feels like it’d eat up a ton of reaction time, especially since it’s a show people often drop a few seasons in.

Not exactly comparable. Like the other guy said, Game of Thrones has 73 episodes compared to TWD 177. For a channel whose content is reacting to different shows/movies, an extra 100 episodes is a lot of watch time that could be devoted to a wider variety of shows. Its only worth a try cause its your pick. Here are the out comes if they "give it a try" 1. They dont fw the show early on and drop it. 2. They like it up til it drops off then the drop it. 3. They watch the whole thing The only good scenario is they dont try it now and give the other good shows a chance first. if they drop it now im sure there are gonna be some ppl mad and if they drop it like in s5 or 6 then the ppl who didnt want it just had to sit through like 3-5 months of their show not getting a chance. And if they like it well then we just got sentenced to a year of a show that will slowly become mid. Yeah, Mike Flanagan is an incredible filmmaker. I love all his stuff, but Hill House is a near perfect show, in my opinion. The casting, story, direction, cinematography…they just hit it out of the park in every category. And it’s just one of those shows that lends itself perfectly for reactions. Alright hear me out. I used to be a big TWD fan, watched Ep1 the day it premiered and kept watching weekly up until S8 Ep8. The reasons to watch it are : Rick Grimes ( S tier character ) The show that made Jon Bernthal Rick Grimes again and the many iconic scenes he has. Reasons not to watch it : It starts slowly descending into the horrible writing territory after S7 Ep1. Some characters start having stupid plot armor like crazy, illogical storylines, bad production. All in all gets worse as episodes go by. My honest opinion ? F all these shows, react to Barry. Great watch, great for reactions, short episodes. Absolutely great, S tier show.

Well they started the live action part of the channel on the premise of wanting to watch peak cinema. It is frustrating to see what are objectively better, more well made, and critically acclaimed shows continuously getting mogged by stuff like this. These polls always include shows that could genuinely make a case for being one of the best ever made and they almost always get the least attention. I feel that you guys should just bite the bullet and start the walking dead. I agree. Walking Dead needs to be treated as its own separate thing. It’s basically the Naruto or One Piece of live action not how good it is but in the sense that you have to watch it with a different perspective and frame of mind knowing it’s a ride that you need to be on for years. War movies have been on decline this decade in terms of how many are made and how well they do. Its no coincidence. A show about soldiers in 2001 hits different than the public relationship to war and soldiers in the modern era. Band of brothers has an insane cast, great set pieces and war visuals. But narratively speaking its not that unique among other war movies/shows. Band Of Brothers both in quality and in genre is far more niche than youre making it out to be. Ignorance and age is hardly the reason. Someone below mentioned Emmys, and although BoB won plenty and was nominated for more, TWD was also nominated for quite a few during their tenure. (They even share some of the same actors which is neat). Every show here took the zeitgeist for storm during their era. We don't need to pretend one show is "slop" to praise another. I think the notion to disparage one vote for another is lame to simplify my point lol. Theres more nuance to it than that.

Nothing elitist about my post. I watch and love TWD and Supernatural. But suggesting it to reaction channel Studio Gek where guys really want to watch peak and can actually appreciate and comprehend is such a waste. It’s like suggesting to watch harem seinen instead of AOT for a person who is trying to watch anime for the first time. Like I love TWD, but it’s even worse than Naruto. Because Naruto has peak all over the series which outweigh the slow pacing and bad writing. TWD on the other hand has a bit of peak at the beginning and from around season 7 it’s absolute garbage. Majority would rather watch twd as they should, because it’s their money also calling the show terrible as if it’s not based on your own opinion. It was an incredibly well written and produced show with excellent performances too. Succcession is the only thing better on the list. Others are just fan favorites/nostalgic because of some things but not because the show was top tier from beginning to end.
