Kekoa Grimes

Can you guys keep up with Mr. Beast watching One Piece?

Alien9

I’ve never watched One Piece but stopping by to say Merry Christmas all!

Marcos

Merry Christmas to the chat and geks!!!!

Maya 🌱

Merry Christmas thank you guys!!

Ayo

same, merry christmas yall

victoria t

Glad you guys are loving Marineford!! Luffy’s officially made his mark on the Whitebeard Pirates FYI eps 478 & 479 go together so is there any way we could get 5 eps next drop??

Max Demian

Peak, merry christmas bros

lixo

haven't watched it yet (obviously since it JUST dropped) and i probably won't get to until later but i just wanna say that i've been a patron since june, so not that long tbh, and i almost never comment. cause i either just don't feel the need to or i don't have anything to say. during this arc though i almost feel obligated to comment because of the arc and also the community. i'm always reading through the comments and i wanna say the op gek community that's been built is incredible and y'all (geks AND their supporters) are awesome!!! very glad to be here and a part of this journey/experience :) merry christmas to everyone and even if you don't celebrate have a wonderful day!

Hansen

Merry Christmas!

Zipzzty

MERRY CHRISTMAS

EmlovesOP

Merry Christmas everybody and thank you to the geks for this upload 🎄🎄🎄🫶🏽🫶🏽

farkzzy

christmas piece

Dreamknight942

Merry Christmas guys! Peak as usual! McKay giving the finger when he sees Akainu is so funny 😂

Alan

🫡🫡🫡

Spidey

MERRY CHRISTMAS.

wanira 11

Very glad to have you here <3

Dasha

“The most likeable hateable rat” is the most accurate description for Kizaru lmao

Vextipher

One Piece on Christmas, it's a Christmas miracle. Don't got family to spend it with so this helps give me something to enjoy. Hope every having a merry Christmas/holiday!

Murasaki

Merry Christmas

sil 🧸ྀི

MERRY XMAS 🎀🎄🎄🎄✨✨✨

Nanami's Wife

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!🎄🎄🎄

Gorira Kujira

What a wonderful gift, Merry Christmas Geks

Dasha

I’d be so bad at the midcard game, I just always think sanji 🥀

Dasha

No way they assumed Buggy being the only person to show this war to the world is filler😂 they are traumatised fr

Spidey

MCKAY IS TAPPED INTO AGENDA PIECCE? HOLY PEAK

Spidey

/slander piece lol

Marcus D

Thank you for the Christmas upload ❤️ Merry Christmas and happy holidays to you all.

Mr. John Kagurabachi

When I’m in a bum competition and my opponent is Yuta Okkotsu 😱

Tyrell D. Rose

THANK YOU, 🙌 MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE !

christopher

i mean white beard is the commander he needs to give command if not sengoku plan would have worked and they would have lost right there

Justin ⟢

Reliving all these legendary moments during Christmas season…You guys really are the best reaction channel of all time 😭😭

Zipzzty

10:30 That’s tuff

Zipzzty

10:45 So Mihawk colors his sword 😭😭 Mckay Maintaining the Agenda

Zipzzty

13:15 👀

Vinny Deluca

Just to be clear the Gates just let you use that specific current to move between the Navy islands quicker. You can to any one of them on your own without going the through that gates of justice it just takes significantly longer to do. If someone wants to leave they don’t need to go through the Gates, they just pick any other direction and leave

Ella

buggy being a twitch streamer is so funny

Marcus D

Wouldn’t say sentonaru leading the pacifista is random. When he was introduced he was given the title of ‘Captain of the Special Science group’.

wanira 11

Not Buggy and his crew filming a whole ass reality show on a battlefield 😭😂

Zipzzty

22:00 Cool shot

Jimmy

MERRY CHRISTMAS LADS THANKS FOR THE GIFT WE LOVE YALL

deep365

Wooo merry christmas

Zipzzty

29:10 Akainu bro 😭😭

Qhoa

W

Jovë

yo chat does anyone know where jack has left off in one piece like arc or eps? or does he continue on his own?

Marcus D

Episode 1015 as of a month or so ago. He has been continuing on his own

Zipzzty

35:35 GOAT WHITEBEARD. Carter side eye frying me 😭

SavDog23

Amazing batch. Yet each batch onwards keeps getting better then the last.

Zipzzty

41:25 Mifraud 😭

Nanami's Wife

The scene with Luffy vs 3 admirals IS SO PEAKKKKK!! The amount of goosebumps I go through each episode in this arc should be studied.

Cyrill Attakpah

well obviously luffy is gonna die, dragon takes over the straw hats and leaves the revolutionary army behind, ussop becomes dragons first mate, zoro never makes it back to the crew and accidentally finds the one piece (but doesnt recognize that its the one piece), rayleigh and garp open a fishing scool together with whoopslap (the mayor of windmill village), sanji marries boa hancock and simps away for the rest of his life until she looks like the amazon granny nyon-baa, then he makes it back to the crew .. yea. but i dont wanna spoil too much so ill leave the rest up to your imagination .. and to everyone who read this crap i wrote until now: happy holidays :D

Zipzzty

47:45 GOATED WHITEBEARD Scene

Cyrill Attakpah

whoa i dindt know he was that far behind xD and how can you just stop after 1015 which is the adaptation of chapter 1000?! obviously he continued but he had to stop to tell anyone that hes at 1015 xD wild!

Jovë

Ohh okay thanks! I was always curious if he was waiting or not

Zipzzty

52:20 3 Admirals

Can’t touch this Gold

52:23 This pie is so good I could die. This pie is so disgusting I could die.

McKay Carter

I randomly kind of respect him

SavDog23

11:55 Gotta remember Whitebeard's power is insanely destructive. If he joined the battlefront too early then he would have to hold back, as spamming quake attacks would cause harm to his own troops too. It's the same reason why the admirals aren't going all out, they don't want Marineford itself to be destroyed.

Scarlet

Have a wonderful Christmas everyone! 💕

Jordan Mowrer

Merry Christmas Geks. Thanks for the post as always.

SavDog23

15:04 Vista is indeed HIM

Hector

Merry Christmas everyone

Zipzzty

1:14:50 PEAK SCENE

Zipzzty

1:17:50 Fr Carter 😭

Pudding

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND THANK YOU GEKSSS

Zipzzty

Merry Christmas

SavDog23

17:45 Buggy the GOAT keeping the Video Snail active so that it delays Sengoku's plan to trap the pirates and execute Ace early. What an amazing guy Captain Buggy is 🙌

Zipzzty

1:20:50 Don’t worry cannon love the real reaction 🐐

Mitch

McKay his real name is Fraudhawk in case u were wondering

지원

Yess

christopher

I feel like you guys are missing the fact that this is a war and pointing out things like why Luffy doesn't use rubber to get over to Ace, because a lot of things are happening, plans are unfolding, pawns and knights are moving. What I'm saying is you guys are playing checkers, not chess.

jrnoodles

Thanks Geks! Luffy's entrance is legendary.

wanira 11

Sengoku cutting the live stream when everyone believed Whitebeard to be a traitor was such a dirty move, but still brilliant. The whole world is watching this war and Sengoku took this opportunity to, once again, affirm the Navy's propaganda "See, this is the true nature of pirates. There is no such thing as a good pirate, all of them are corrupt and selfish, even amongst themselves."

alex

W W DROP, i cant believe i have to wait till next week for the next drop 😭

TrueCrisp

Merry Christmas!!!

Maj

The cooking continues

SavDog23

35:50 "But I love you, son, even if you are a fool." And that's why Whitebeard is the GOAT.

Gorira Kujira

Luffy standing against all 3 admirals by himself is so peak that scene always makes me hype

Nanami's Wife

The amount of aura Whitebeard has is infinite. He's still a beast even being old and sick. Imagine him in his prime?? The Great Pirate era with whitebeard prime as well as roger prime and others was definitely insane

Nanami's Wife

Agreed, and this also showcase the difference of strength between Luffy and the pirates from the New World. In this war it's not easy for Luffy to get around. Whitebeard even said to Luffy "A squirt like you will be dead meat". So, Luffy running is not necessarily a pacing issue, but it does demonstrates how far behind Luffy is and also how insane this battlefield is. I do get their frustration as well

Nonos

Merrry Christmas geks and everyone 💪🏽

SavDog23

48:38 Whitebeard tilting the freaking seas is another insane feat. Such an crazy scene. Our boy Luffy has a long way to go to reach this kind of level.

Nanami's Wife

I love how Buggy and the impel prisoners are streaming the war on twitch😂😂 I've seen too many memes of that😂

Kurofi

Merry Christmas guys! Have more faith in whitebeard guys! He needs to still lead from afar and make smart moves. The war isn’t over yet 😇

shelby

merry Christmas

Hector

Delete spoilers

wanira 11

Not Mckay saying "I don't even think I'm in this arc", only to have Law show up 10 seconds later 😂

Hector

Plazaford has arrived!!!

McKay Carter

Nah we are well aware, just frustrating nonetheless

NINJA SWORD

To answer Mckay's question about the fights not fully shown. Mihawk vs Vista : After Sengoku ordered all troops to retreat he told vista "lets postpone the fight". So both retreated. Crocodile vs Doflamingo vs Jozu : After Crocodile used his tornado the fight was broken up. This one they have their reasons as to why. Why is it necessary to do this? Everyone knows that these characters will be shown in the future. So this was just a glimpse of their powers, like when Itatchi first arrived at the hidden leaf he didn't show his trump cards. It helps keep the surprise and excitement for these characters. Its better to keep some things mysterious or else the pay off won't be good. You will be glad you didn't see them with their full glory here as the surprises and twists won't be exactly surprises if already seen.

wanira 11

Seeing Whitebeards crew having their own Going Merry funeral moment but with the Moby dick broke my heart a little man :( that ship probably had a soul aswell

SavDog23

1:00:14 💔

Kurofi

Why is Cannon so depressed already 🤣

Enma

Bro whenever Cannon's in the depths of hell, he will rip every detail apart no matter what anime it is 🤣🤣🤣

T.Yaseen

Nah that ending was insane , Whiebeard's power is so sick, the sound effects alone when he uses his powers are so good lmao

christopher

lol yeah that is one piece, god i love that strechy dude

Enma

Buggy was given the mandate from heaven (Oda). He is fated to become the King of the Pirates. McKay, your hatred will be returned ten fold in the end...

Saki 🏴‍☠️✨❤️‍🔥

the way they try and push their agenda by cutting buggys camera the MOMENT theyve had a chance to make whitebeard look bad...hate it here smh, what a reflection of propaganda

SavDog23

1:15:05 Luffy facing the 3 Admirals is ABSOLUTE CINEMA My personal favorite moment of the arc, it's just beyond epic. Episode 474 is so peak and is probably the best episode of the arc so far. Still plenty of greatness to come.

alizé

hearing them call my goat sentomaru a rat 😭💔

Gilster

I know you painted that sword black, Mihawk.

Cade

WHAT A CHRISTMAS GIFT!!! PEAK PEAK PEAK! MERY CHRISTMAS GEKS!

Saki 🏴‍☠️✨❤️‍🔥

ay i mean luffys been running a never ending marathon but mans keeps getting slingshot back so 😫😫 also in jumping back and forth between battles ofc several r going on at the same time, so i dont necessarily think of it as entirely linear

Milochocodrink (Zoro's wife)

Im loving the predictions in the intro! Its nice getting to hear your thought processes (especially when you have different opinions from my initial thoughts or from each other)

Douglas

lol Luffy is not getting them killed. It’s a war and they’re losing so they made a desperate attempt.

Saki 🏴‍☠️✨❤️‍🔥

laugh burst straight out at mckay standing and immediately doing the room gesture the moment laws on screen for a split second 😂

Rajit Sharma

Merry Christmas everyone!! I’m sure today’s drop is amazing I will have to watch after all the festivities .

Nami Swannn

Buggy has entered his streamer era 🤩

Kylie

Family = gone. Kitchen = clean. Studio Gek = on. Happy holidays y'all

Nami Swannn

Whitebeard will never see a betrayal from one of his sons coming he trusts them too much it’s his fatal flaw ☹️ first Blackbeard now Squard…

beannie

we knew this day would come, mckay is finally into the agenda🧘

Kurofi

The admirals are all about opposites: Aokiji has the warmest/kindest persona but coldest fruit Akainu has a cold persona but hottest fruit Kizaru is slow when he talks and thinks but has the fastest fruit

Maj

The music as luffy lands in front of the admirals is so fire, such a sick scene. One piece always cooks so hard with the OST

beannie

“But i love you son, even if you’re a fool” the only father ever istg

Mr. John Kagurabachi

Oda purposely didn’t show us the fight between Mihawk and Vista because it would reveal him as a FRAUD. Mihawk can’t even cut Orange Town Buggy and has to farm East Blue Don Krieg to look relevant lol

Kylie

"He's the most likable, hatable rat" real

Kurofi

There are no holes McKay lol if you missed it, Mihawk and Vista paused their fight before the walls were raised and doffy, Jozu and Croc were separated when Croc threw a sandstorm at them…..so no holes lol

jack-o-nami-swaaan

The way Carter and Canon fell for the lie hook line and sinker is sooo disappointing.

nexari

omg I just want to scream, these episodes are INSANE

Michael H

I don’t have time to watch it, but it’s a Christmas miracle!

Dasha

Great comment! He also asked about Kizaru vs Luffy but they didn’t really start fighting because WB commanders showed up and helped him to go past Kizaru

Kurofi

I feel like it’s easy to forget stuff with so many characters and such a long running show……they should start taking notes lol I just wish they knew how intentional oda is with everything, even the buggy parts. It all matters and will make sense lol

Saki 🏴‍☠️✨❤️‍🔥

idk, they were still back and forth on it and it was interesting to see since i think a lot of people /do/ usually handle it with a lot more doubt, but it just goes to show what a compelling lie they wove

Zipzzty

THEY ARE

Zipzzty

Better then using Knots

Zipzzty

HES SO DRIPPY

Zipzzty

Merry Christmas enjoy after

Zipzzty

MERRY CHRISTMAS BANG CADE!

Zipzzty

😭😭

Zipzzty

Nah fr bro 😭😭 love to see his reaction tho

beannie

eyecatcher wins counter🔥 Cannon - 9 Carter - 9 Mckay - 6 Jack - 4 Let mckay cook🙏

wanira 11

Cmon it's not dissapointing, just goes to show how immersive the storyline is. You're meant to really wonder : "Wait, did Whitebeard actually do this?" It makes for great reactions

alizé

u must not be caught up on op 😪

beannie

you’re disappointed at such a non issue lil bro

Dasha

It was great tbh, I was not expecting that after all the whitebeard hype. It shows that they know how to set their expectations for shows and characters despite the hype

Milochocodrink (Zoro's wife)

This was a great batch of reactions! I wasn't expecting to like it so much. My emotions on the first watch were entirely different to how I felt this time. Loved the analysis and intense emotions from you guys (especially cannon lol)

esme

as someone who's caught up, luffy vs 3 admirals to this day is one of my ult moments ever in the entirety of the show. everything about that scene is perfect especially the score 🥲

cozo

PEAK FOR CHRISTMAS

esme

"IT'S SO SICK BUT WHAT IS HE GONNA DO⁉️" 😭 cries cannon's reaction is sooo real. precisely my face when i watched marineford for the first time. cud barely enjoy the epic scenes bcs my anxiety for luffy and ace were at an unprecedented high like we're all praying for a miracle at this point

Safaricat

My favorite looking character in this arc who i thought was just a random with no name, actually has a freakin name and a birthday. I tweeted about it with his picture and a random one piece fan on twitter told me his name and birthday, and this is when I realized Oda knows and cherishes every single character. You guys have seen him already his name is Delacuaji he is probably the strangest most confusing looking character i've seen and i wish i knew more about. My second favorite character in this arc is Doma the guy with a monkey that has a gun.... like....what is that pairing.... i need to know more. I've never seen another person that looks even remotely similar to Delacuaji though i'm so curious

Safaricat

I hope the next two batches are 5 ep each just to avoid crazy cliff hangers. Some episodes need to be together.

sil 🧸ྀི

the stand against the 3 admirals is SICK

jack-o-nami-swaaan

nah u really did ur big one there. You're him. Pop it out ur mouth once in a while tho.

Bez Tebya

MERRY CHRISTMAS CHRIST IS BORN!!! Thank you for the gift yall

nexari

it's soo epic

nexari

he's such a kind person

Jessica

THE LUFFY AND ADMIRAL SHOT WAS MY FAVORITE FOR A LONG TIME

nexari

no way😭🤣🤣

GBuckets

Whitebeard must have attended Piccolo's school of Aura farming. Like we see the fit and the pose bro, go do something

nexari

they're the main character in this arc😆

greyxwaren

mckay jimbe couldn't have done this from the start since aokiji froze the whole thing. this was made possible because akainu wanted to aura farm and melted all the ice lol

nexari

I hate it but I love it. literally sengoku's the perfect man to be the govt's dog

ainsley

akainu the biggest rat

Nash
>>197803692

Tears bruh Cannon was acting like he’s also on the battlefield with them 😭😭

PeakZero

More optimism Cannon, believe!

Juicy D. jaloomba

Happy late birthday to chopper and merry Christmas!!!!!!!

John D. Acebes

Squard being told by authorities to betray his father figure but father Whitebeard forgives him because he loves his sons/children unconditionally? Judas v Jesus coded? Not sure if blasphemous but that's what I took away from that

GBuckets

You can blame the anime for that. Every arc goes pretty smooth and fast in the manga, it's the anime that drags it out. That's why it seems like luffy is running for like 5 episodes straight

Lina

me aswell!

Lina

🤣🤣🤣

Lina

🤣🤣🤣🤣

Lina

i loved it because it was so real! i had the same reaction so i relate 🥺

nexari

love his reaction

Rayanh Shequinah Nansha

Yes McKay, the comments about Mihawk being a fraud are not to be taken seriously

John D. Acebes

Akainu's Meteor Shower being somewhat like Luffy's gatling 👌

nexari

Really love his reaction

nexari

🤣

Hype

Jack I think you should start muting the episode titles.

nexari

me too it's like I really can feel his frustration

greyxwaren

welcome to agenda piece

Benjamin Knock

Luffy also used a sword in the arlong fight. He borrowed one of hachis 300lbs swords that arlong ate for a snack. Him and Wapol are big eaters when it comes to blades

sakeniku

wow i wasn't expecting an upload on christmas, thank you for the gift guys!

andythesaladgod

Idc how many people he killed mf is a LION 🦁

esme

THE SAD ASS FACE THE WHOLE TIME 😭😭😭

Kite

bro Cannon wants the arc to be 5 episodes 😂

cozo

no way carter talks about mrbeast if he made a one piece video right after he actually started one piece 😭

DrumPole15

This is why I love watching your videos. Canon reacting the way he did is real. Not trying to appease the audience, but giving his reaction is what this is all about. So it wasn’t annoying at all when you kept saying you were depressed.

Musoko

GOAT 🐐🐐🐐🌋🌋🌋🌋

Yhwach

Now you know why we say Mihawk is a fraud 🤣🤣

Loyd M

MERRY CHRISTMAS! . . . . . . . . . . . . . im hoping we get to ep 488/489 at dec 31. xD

Yhwach

Akainu is so hot tempered bruh

Kurofi

When I say cold, I mean he’s cold hearted and a cold killer as supposed to aokiji who is more humane. I know he’s hot tempered haha but he won’t hesitate to kill anyone (like that boat of civilians from O’Hara where aokiji let Robin get away).

Yhwach

Only until Marine Ford. Then it takes a whole while to come back

Miitei

Merry Christmas!!

Murasaki

I love that Cannon was immersed in the plot, your reaction is great.

nexari

idk how many times he said "what he's gonna do?" His reaction is so real

Cannon Andrus

You guys are so goated for letting me just be depressed in this arc🤣🤣🤣

Spidey

ATP who isnt a fraud?

Yhwach

We let Whitebeard cure your depression. Here is the Tremor Tremor fruit to shake up Cannon's trauma

Marcus D

Well said and agreed @Bbpop

kuza

PEAKKKKKK

Yoshi

Shanks cosplay is epic, but the scar is on the wrong side

DietCocaine

Streets saying mihawk got black paint under the tree for Christmas

DietCocaine

I heard he got black paint under the tree for Christmas

Error445

Canon so stressed 😭😭😭

Error445

Also I know you’ve heard it a 1000times but don’t be playing about with these titles at all. Sound and/or sight

Error445

Next Thursday should be a 5 episode drop

Marcos

Ifykyk oda always leaving hints

Janice W

Oars just taking a nap cause it can't be helped

kuza

yall sometimes be pre hating the buggy stuff before you actually see it no wonder u hate it so much 😭😭

EmlovesOP

it's actually insane

Marcos

🥲🥲

EmlovesOP

rewatching this show has it's benfits their little hints for future plots thats so cool to catch

cozo

mckay instantly looking away the second buggy is on screen for 1 second 😭

Sasha Ruple

First watch I was wrecked when Squard stabbed Whitebeard, this arc is rough on the nerves

E g g

It's all good Cannon, can't wait for the next batch

kuza

WHITEBEARD🐐

kuza

tremor fruit is just the sickest shit ever

kuza

the navys strat was unreal for sure

Chris Schwirz

Merry Christmas and happy holidays yall more peak good way to cap off the festivities

Marcus D

Buggy the Adin Ross of the verse 😭

Marcus D

“Mandate from heaven(Oda)”😂

kuza

LUFFYS ENTRANCE AGAINST THE 3 ADMIRALS! THE SICKEST FRAME

Marcus D

1:15:06 one of the most iconic frames in all of anime

kuza

that to be continued is too diabolical 😭😭😭😭

sakeniku

i feel bad for mckay, he's so done with buggy 😭😭😭

Marcus D

The common community term is Fraudhawk lol.

nexari

He's so underrated

Marcus D

Just so you know, the Admirals code names are based on Japanese lore/mythos and are thematic to each character, just like their coat colours, here’s the translations of the names: Akainu= Red dog Kizaru= Yellow Monkey Aokiji= Blue Pheasesnt

nexari

IT'S SO SICK

Marcus D

Just to be that guy, there’s only been 1 great pirate era, the one we’re currently in that begun when Roger died and where whitebeard was already in his 50s. Whitebeard and Roger’s prime era wasn’t a great pirate one but for sure I bet it was crazy.

Jae

In the manga squard didn't look so suspicious, toei ruined that scene, i feel like they don't care about anime only fans 🤬

blackleg sanji ୨୧

fraudhawk being the greatest swordsman while only defeating east blue zoro 😭

nexari

Even buggy can't take himself seriously lol

Kasumii_

Idk who's more depressed, Cannon or Squard...

Maya 🌱

“Is he giving him a hug or killing him”💀💀

E L

Oh nooo

1804

Late but Merry Christmas!

Zipzzty

Merry Christmas

Zipzzty

Merry Christmas

Zipzzty

Peak pfp Ouki 🐐 Kingdom

Kasumii_

Ty! I am dying for the boys to watch Apothecary Diaries, seeing as they enjoyed Stein's Gate which has barely any action and how much they love some romance and mystery in animes I think it'd be right up their alley

2026-10-07 09:00 Carter: this is diabolical cinema rn Cannon: it’s so over dude 🫩
2025-12-26 08:38

esme

LMAOO FR 😭😭

Nick K

The Whitebeard grabbing the air frame of animation is probably still one of the sickest screens of anime ever. Also with Roger and Whitebeard getting diseases and things like that, that's sadly just getting old. Roger wasn't that old but the older you get the more you run the risk of getting some kind of disease or illness. Pirates also don't have the luxury of being able to going to full on hospitals like say the marines, and have to rely on their ship doctors for most of their medical care.

Nami Swannn

Put some respect on Buggy’s name 😤 you’d never catch Adin streaming mid-war with a full makeup and production team!

oopppp

One Piece is One Piece. If you keep trying to force a circle into a triangle, you won’t be able to enjoy it. Respect it for what it is.

Maj

When I saw those tears I was shook, unbelievable foreshadowing

blackleg sanji ୨୧

omg same !! i was hoping they would react after frieren but fingers crossed one day it will happen :) yes it's so so well writtennn

blackleg sanji ୨୧

king of the pirates casually streaming during the biggest war this is why buggy is the goat 🙌

Zainah Alajmi

Did they binge the whole arc in one sitting?

mina

I WANT TO BE ABLE TO WATCH MARINEFORD ALL OVER AGAIN FOR THE FIRST TIME

cozo

no cannon was talking about how hype the posts are in patreon, i think they're watching 8 at a time

zoldaic

Clear from this war that Luffy is only a big fish in a small pond all along. There's so many crazy strong ppl out there.

Saint

I think everyone should be done with buggy

Nanami's Wife

Captain Buggy always coming in clutch🙏🏾🙏🏾

James Wirth

Btw Luffy had the mast so he will float in the top part and not get lost in the throw, cuz he cant swim

Umar

yeah me too I remember I was binging the arc by watching 10-15 episodes per day

Nanami's Wife

Wait I’m confused, there was a name for the era with Roger, Garp, Whitebeard, and the rest of them when they was in their prime bc i remember it being mentioned recently or 2 arcs ago of present time. Was it not the great pirate era?

Loyd M

Sorry hindsight merchant here. . . . . . . . . . . . . . There are clips/scenes in these episodes that ties to the latest arc in the anime. Crying... Its my first time rewatch.

beannie

he and ace have that in common, they lowkey lose rationality when they’re emotional😭

Saint

Huh

Maj

I think the next batch will be a 3 ep drop, then it'll be 479-481, 482-485, 486-489. Someone in the discord gave Jack a good rundown of how they should split up their batches so I think they'll go based off that

zoldaic

He's just a big fish in a huge ocean 😬

Nomaan

I hope ur not talking about the most mid episodes of stranger things ever.

Liptrouski

That ending was so good

GreetswithJudgement

Yea…those episodes…waiting to see what the Geks think of them because holy hell. Mid doesn’t even do it justice.

McKay Carter

It’s called instant trauma

Gilster

the water clears and luffy is knocked infront of the admirals

Nahgi

No way you're comparing Kimimaro with Whitebeard with Roger🤣 That was so funny somehow🤣🤣🤣

Liuxia (edited)

2026-10-07 09:00 Did Oda ever say Whitebeard has cancer, I thought he is just old and sickly or something. There is no confirmation that he has cancer
2025-12-26 16:41

Juicy D. jaloomba

I was wondering how early Oda planned it and that moment answered my question

Nonos

Geks aren’t saying he literally has cancer. They’re just saying that to say he’s been shown to be sick almost like someone who has cancer.

Umar

14:55 This is one of the reasons we say he painted his sword Cannon. Mihawk is a fraud

Blue Forest

Ok, the comment section has been infected by this fraud nonsense. Already losing track of the story at this point. Lol maybe take the agenda to discord

Spidey

W its always op fans that fw kingdom.

Spidey

Cant even cut buggy fr

Promanex(Alex)

I kind of want you guys to talk more about the hug from Whitebeard, because that move made me love Whitebeard so much more and I want to hear you guys takes on it.

Ffion

it's crazy because I never even thought to question that moment when I first saw it

Saint

whitebeard will forever be father

mina

binging it is the best way to watch it

Mags

Mckay, I promise life gets better once you accept the buggy bit!

Marcos

I’m surprised their wasn’t any theory videos for why they were crying during that scene. Makes me excited for what other things we have missed that oda has left for us to question

Benjamin Knock

As soon as you except that pre time skip one piece is a comedy not an action shoenen it's suddenly a much better show

Rachel Dias

I always forget to coment, but this arc is being so hype!!!

Monkey D. Oden

No one in Japan fucking cares about you anime-only fans.

Alexander

Every episode from here is just more and more epic in this arc

A constant criticism I hear is: why does Whitebeard just stay back? But he can’t push forward with everyone. I genuinely think the three Admirals together could take him down, especially when you factor in that Garp and Sengoku are also standing in reserve. Even if Whitebeard could immediately charge in and fight, doing so would be reckless. Instead he stays back, observes the situation, enables plans, while observing and reacting to the Navy's. If Aokiji falls, Kizaru is still there; if Kizaru goes down, Sengoku is still waiting. The rescue mission however, lives and dies with Whitebeard. He’s the planner, the enabler and the executioner. Timing is everything. He has to pick the right moment while avoiding the needless waste of his power and his crew’s resources. I honestly don’t see any positive outcome where he’s constantly on the front lines brawling alongside his crew. That would just be like exhausting the hamster on the wheel. Anyways, great reaction as always and I love hearing all your takes, criticisms and praises. So fun! Especially with the cosplays! Also Marco is the goat! He's my fav character in Marineford.

Niko

peak peak peak

1804

Besides his power is so destructive, he would put his own crew in even more danger

Saint

Why cannon thinks luffy can just jump over like what he did in water seven… as if we all didn’t watch luffy get stuck between buildings so many times. iirc cannon understandably had a lot to say about that back then too 😭 Please let him run 😭 at the very least it’s better than 4 eps of him in concrete

Saint

I agree 1000% and also I believe he goes in there,, there will be no ace to save. His power could actually kill ace that’s shackled and can’t use his powers, it’s best he stays back and proceeds with caution

Saint

But Carter saying that whitebeard getting stabbed was like an adrenaline boost 😭😭😭 copium levels are high but i would say the same too

cozo

i dont even think they need 3 admirals 2 is probably enough

Arjeezy

PEAK PIECE

Nanami's Wife

The Buggy bits are one of the most engraved moments in the show/fandom. He’s Oda favorite character, he just that guy u know 😭🤷🏾‍♀️

Natacha

We’ll be at 482

Peakkk

Aokiji Piece🧊

Two admirals would definitely beat WB and three is just overkill. One is complicated it depends on the scenario and the situation that they are in.

Hugh

Buggy subathon at marineford man the goat

Ninjinzo

I agree but opinions can still matter for what it is too and some people may find this moment not their cup of tea

Ninjinzo

I mean the buggy stuff

relyct

@cozo @Aokiji Piece Definitely. Though Aokiji gives me the vibes as if he would hold back or even is currently. While Kizaru seems to play with his opponents more. Given these two, I could see all three of them being necessary to take him down. Though two might definitely be enough, if they go all out.

Hugh

Btw the only black blade we have seen in this show yet is the goat swordsmen Shimotsuki Ryumas shusui, which currently zoro has, as to mihawks one, he painted that black blud retreating against vista man😭😭😭

Nash

You saying that with that pfp is hilarious 🤣🤣🤣

EmlovesOP

i thought that to I was confused

Aokiji Piece🧊

Just to clarify, Aokiji is still serious and does care about what he is doing. He simply operates at the bare minimum required, which aligns with his view of justice in the navy.

Nami Swannn

Most dedicated streamer nothing can stop him

Kae D. en

Cannon it’s okay, we were all sick to our stomachs watching this arc

1804

I wasn't the biggest fan of buggy but little by little he won me over and since then it's been more enjoyable lol same for other characters...

EmlovesOP

Last day for the weekly anime 🫶🏽 one piece team has worked so hard to pump out these episodes in this level of quality. I hope they enjoy their break. To ⚔️….🏰!!!

1804

Weekly One Piece is officially over 😔 On to a new era for 2026! (April 5)

cozo

season 1 of one piece is officially over 😭 greatest season 1 oat

Dasha

I think he’s locked in so he would do it properly now, the issue is that there’s no buildings/trees here, it’s just flat earth, so he has nothing to cling to

charlie

I'm a Marineford fan but it has some of the most inconsistent moments and the powerscaling makes no sense

Can’t touch this Gold

I always wondered how strong Vista is. I mean the guy fought the guy who rivals shanks a literal emperor. He has to be solid

Marcus D

Smh Geks are so slow, they’ve been watching one piece for over a year and they’re still not half way through season 1.

Aokiji Piece🧊

Yeah I get the criticism. The power scaling at Marineford can feel weird at first, especially on a first time experiencing it. But what people have to understand is that almost every top tier there is holding back. The Admirals cannot just go all out because they would destroy Marineford and the island itself, which is a symbol of the Marines’ pride, and they would also end up killing thousands of their own Marines fighting there. They can damage parts of it, sure, but they cannot erase the whole place. They need it standing. Whitebeard is also holding back. If he went all out, he would wipe out his own crew, and Ace is literally chained with sea prism stone. He cannot afford to go crazy without killing the people he is there to save. It is also worth keeping in mind that Marineford is a full-scale war, not a sequence of clean 1v1 fights. Fighters are constantly being interrupted, caught off guard, or separated by explosions and chaos. Because of that, even the top tiers cannot just stay locked into full-power fights for long stretches of time. For example, Vista clashing with Mihawk does not mean Mihawk was going all out. If Mihawk truly wanted to, he could probably take Vista down in one or two serious attacks. But Mihawk does not really gain anything from killing Vista. Even though he is technically on the Marines side, he is still a pirate at heart. He does not seem like someone who cares that deeply about the outcome of the war. He would rather keep himself occupied, test his skills and see how things unfold. They all show flashes of what they are capable of, but no one at Marineford is truly going all out, apart from the low to mid tiers.

Adeeb Alothman

Right like it’s just one season how hard can it be

Nashi

He’s a good running gag

Nashi

Where is the oneeee pieeeeeeece… upload

Niko

Not getting it this week since Carter just spawned a new player into the lobby

Patrick Wisdom

Very disappointed in Jack's cosplay. I see your left arm, buddy!

Patrick Wisdom

Naw, Oda just didn't have the powerscaling mapped out at this point. It's the bane of any long-running shonen. It generally improves after this arc.

mina

should’ve cut it off

Marcus D

They already did in their “plans for this week post”. They said Carter had his baby and they don’t want him to miss Naruto or one piece so they’re holding those off for a week.

Destiny Samuel

Ah! My notifs were off. Thanks! And congrats Carter!

Masta Jags

Consequence of these mostly being brief clashes (especially in the manga, which some are only a few pages long) rather than full length fights. The upside is we get really good pacing, even with the anime stretching these out to one chapter per episode. The arc would probably be twice as long if these were all full length fights

Hiyori

please don't

Ser Dunk the Tall

I mean it's not called "One Piece react channel". They're watching like 10 shows at once while all having jobs and relationships.

christopher

its in like episode 1000plus that i started to like buggy when he had that flashback with shanks made me look at him differently

Marcus D

The joke went completely over your head 😭

cozo

their job is this, they all do it full time

Rhettoric

I'm so glad I'm finally caught up and can experience the rest of this arc with you all in real time! Luffy facing the 3 Admirals is such an iconic scene! I love all of your authentic reactions and I also want to congratulate Carter and Bradlynn for the birth of their child! I'm so happy for you both and I am beyond excited to continue this journey!

Marcus D

Starting to realise Oda’s greatness

S021

yall! im not sure if you already know but you should stop even listening to titles soon! some names are dropped that ruin episodes!!

Matt Haloostock

That Luffy entrance is so sick even though you know he can't take on the 3 admirals. I was so hyped the first time I watched it. I can't believe Carter called that out either lol.

LDragneel

McKay. Just accept Buggy's greatness in your life and you will be blessed 🙏

San

The man who starred down 3 admirals

Shooks

49:11 ahahahahahaha

Ninaly

No, I feel so seen by McKay

Ninaly

I really get Cannon bc I just felt so much dread the whole way through this arc

Kayanolive

Holy reaction shots LMAOO 22:46 onwards is such an insult man they dont respect our time at all, after that long winded slow panning intro we get a FULL MINUTE of reaction shots. Toei sucks the geks are right about the buggy filler comedy too.

Kayanolive

Yeah on rewatch it keeps dropping the ranks, if the objective is to kill, why are people facing luffy 1v1 for example, kizaru does an attack, stands there for ages. Same with mihawk and so many others. Pacing doesnt help cause Toei is dogshit but even in the manga this feels very videogamey where there is an opponnent at a time and the battles are turn based. Its a cool arc as basically the whole story so far comes together here but damn

Kayanolive

dw even against luffy they send one admiral for one attack and then leave, mihawk too. i think whitebeard could walk since the enemy doesnt intend to attack as a group. marineford feels like a jrpg

Kayanolive

1:05:25 yup the anime pacing makes this arc insanely frustrating, we did warn yall to be fair
