Why do I hear boss music?

LuvStarburst

was waiting for this episode ever since Jack mentioned what kind of powers he would have with his glasses.

Sky

I would not react to the second intro if you want to avoid spoilers. The first one shouldn't have any spoilers involving the remaining episodes and is by and large more of a "visual showcase" than animations of moments from the first 13 episodes. There's one particular moment in the second OP that I think you should absolutely avoid seeing, though, so just stay away from that one for sure. Buckle up, though! Pretty much all gas no brakes from here on out. Lots of lore and sone pretty amazing sequences coming up and Bones does some really cool shit with the source material.

Dub_quinn

the bro santa and dear santa names come out of nowhere lol

Dub_quinn

the boss switch up episode, when we think we'll see our boss, we actually meet the raiders boss haha

Maeverly

This upcoming arc is soo good. Lots of great moments and animation!! I would wait to watch this second OP until after you finish the season. There is a fairly big spoiler in there, which I'm honestly surprised they even included.

Tivy

Yayyy let’s go!!!

"We wanna see the boss" Nah, we wanna see Semiu. 👏🏾

Jenny D

Semiu was great! She packed them up quick. The ending portal scene was crazy. If this guy is Rudo's father I wonder if Rudo even remembers what his parents look like? Excited for the next episode.

Ayoodude

🔥🔥🔥🗑️👏

Hobatty

Here come the best episodes of the season

Chosos Wife

McKay why don't you like Dear Santa 😭

Chosos Wife

Regarding the openings, 1st OP has no spoilers, 2nd Op has more stuff in it I believe but can't remember what

Chosos Wife

Don't forget the supervisor of the kids too, bro Santa

Chosos Wife

Man I'm excited for this next arc and the fights. The show just gets better and better

Apex

Flashlight in the dark is a great description Cannon, it’s like in aot where there’s a bunch of unanswered questions. I’m excited to see rudo get stronger and discover the secrets of the world for us

Ayoodude

Peak coming in quick 👏🔥🔥🔥

Sunny

next arc is going crazyyyyy guyss hehe

walkman

Finally in the best arc of the show

Safaricat

even though Guita and Dear Santa are kids, don't count them out, they are still capable Givers that fight trash beasts. They are their own team as well. You saw Dear ready to scrap in that final moment head cocked to the side, mean muggin, binky in his mouth. and my personal favorite, Guita dead pan expression, teeth and claws, ultimate cozy vibes ready to go. Not one bit of hesitation from Enjin's team or Team Child.

Tivy

8:58 — Guys this scene does show us something! You may not remember because you watched it so long ago, but in episode 1 as Rudo is falling into the Pit, the animation switches to this exact same style and he sees something in the distance while he’s falling. This flashback subtly shows us this which makes it an important detail, it’s just very easy to miss if you don’t remember.

jrnoodles

Thank you! This was a slower episode.

Alexander

From here on the show goes crazy

Niko

things are about to get LITTTT

Vextipher

First Opening has no spoilers for the remaining season. Might have some easter eggs for future plots but I dont know/not obvious. More abstract and safe to watch. Second Opening definitely has spoilers to the last episode. +1 to Jack's perceptiveness for recognizing city they had burger in. I have another point I want to make but will have to wait and see.

Vextipher

"I would love a change of pace" Well Cannon, you got it haha. It's not cautious at all, but I love the teams casually walking up face to face at the end ready to throw down lol

Tivy

McKay beefing with Dear Santa 😭

Yuki

their team name's being literally CHILD is so funny

Yuki

this is one of the VERY FEW shows (under 5) that made me urge to read the manga after finishing the anime, usually i just wait for the next anime season to come out, but holy crap the show is GOING LITTTT

Pats

Any change you guys will be watching sentenced to be a hero?

Rubyjane

Day 2 of wondering why I can’t watch ep 15

keyton bush

The heaven/hell angel/demon imagery is striking, I wonder where they’ll take it. I also wonder why tenkaijin is translated “sphereite” It gives the impression that they live on a sphere, but in this context it seems the sphere in question is the sky or celestial heavens. They’re more like sky people, or “heavenites.” It also more closely aligns with the idea of “angels” to translate it like that. As well as the metaphor for hell as an underground (not really underground but yk) trash heap.
