My favourite character so far is probably Zanka, though I love all of them. Semiu is also sick asf, and her glasses vital instrument is so underrated. I think I’m just more attached to Zanka because his backstory really stuck with me.

Favorite character going to Zanka. His attitude and mindset along with always going through the struggle and trying to rise above it all is very relatable and makes me want to see what he can do but genuinely makes me want the best for him as a character. Bundus is honorable mention as he's the most intriguing unknown type of character to me.

Bundus gives me hidden boss vibes. Like he's an older guy, joins up now with Raiders, collecting information, doesn't really fit the mold and really skilled. Something to me feels familiar in that his character could have a reveal later on and so he's really garnered my curiosity.

Vincent Chansard is not the animator you were thinking of in the intro ("the blocks guy" 😂 is Yutaka Nakamura who worked a lot on MHA), but Vincent is one of many animators who worked on this ep 21 (he animated a ~20 second scene during the Rudo massive nail-gun sequence). You've seen a few of his scenes in JJK 2x17 (Sukuna vs Mahoraga), MHA 8x3 (Bakugo vs AFO), Mob Psycho 3x5 + 3x8. But what Vincent is really known for is being one of the powerhouse animators for modern One Piece (and also a super-fan), having worked on 25+ OP episodes in recent years. He always cooks on whichever anime he works on.

Hiii lurker here!! I’ve been rallied from my hiding spot ^^;; But I’m hella excited to see y’all reacting to Gachiakuta. I’ve been watching you guys since the channel started (although I wasn’t able to become a patron until around when you guys started MHA). Tbh one of my favorite things about Gachiakuta is just how on your toes it keeps you. It tends to not go the way you’d typically expect an anime to go (Riyo pulling a glock mid power fight, the car scene, etc) and it overall just has a very unique art style that personally I’m just super in love with.

GUYS, the MHA and block animator is YUTAKA NAKAMURA not Vincent Chansard. Nakamura storyboarded the fight and animated part of it, Vincent only did 39:42 - 40:06. Vincent has only worked on 2 eps of MHA, one ep in the My Villain Academia arc of s5 with Toga using gravity where unfortunately deadlines nerfed the animation making it unrecognizable as him and 20 seconds during Bakugo vs AFO. I have no idea how he has gotten confused with being the MHA guy when he has barely worked on it and wasn't even working on anime until 2020 with MHA starting in 2016. There's lately been a lot of over the top Vincent glaze and people attributing other people's work to him, I blame Tiktok 🤣

Kinda hoping Enji was gonna be like #2 of the cleaners under the Boss! the Camrea work was really good tho. Feel like it doesnt makes sense like they didnt show him fight Fu like he is to OP so there saving him for later but im thinking hes just suppose to be a cool looking character now sad. Zanka my favorite as a character but Riyo fights are the best so far.

I have mentioned fire force to them numerous occasions and McKay said they would probably watch it at some point. I also started a chant in the twitch stream which got them to watch Fire Force OP one and they enjoyed it so I'm sure they'll watch it one day. They were transported into the trash beast. That thing is huge and the cleaners didn't know they were in a trash beast, so they assumed they were underground. The chokers are the form of communication, but I don't know if everyone has one. I would assume the vast majority do. Edit: I realize that my wording may not have been the best, so I tried to fix it.

The closers definitely sold me on this series. Just killer series Edit: Rio, glad that Enjin has changed her mind on life and we see the outcome of a hitman backstory. And her care for Rudo and noticing his emotions like she may see her past troubles in him
