The previous timeskips were just depressing to me, but I think this timeskip actually intrigues you with its new atmosphere. The introduction of new factions and technology makes you interested in the passage of time instead of resenting it

alex anderson

Great reaction. I like this intro the most I think. And this rest of the series from here I think is my favorite.

jrnoodles

Thanks! I totally forgot about the 25 years skip

Are-eem

Time for a new arc! I love seeing new perspectives and beliefs for some of these new characters. The dialogues between characters in orb is one of my fav things about this show

Red Robin

Wait the movies today??

This is Daniel

Yeah, Orb has a way of silencing the room... I felt this one too, especially on rewatch. That existential crisis when faith is tested isn't meant to derail the spirit, but remind you that it truly exists through belief in a higher power, that can never be denied.

Tyler

I love that throughout the intros they always keep that shot of Rafal with the church burning behind him it perfectly captures the vibe of the show and is just such a perfect shot of him

Yhwach

Yeah. Schmidt is here and we r pacing through because this last batch of episodes is beyond even Orb level.

Pats

When you see the noose in the opening 😭

LuvStarburst

I didn't start watching your guy's reactions to this anime till the 8th episode came out, and I'm glad I gave it a chance.

Red Robin

not bad news bruh we've been waiting for this moment since september! lmao

Elio

I literally got chills when Rafal appeared in the opening with the fire behind him.

rafal's aura in the opening has to be studied bro

MissJodles

Lovvvee the start of this new arc and the fact that you haven't even met the MC yet, but the intro has already done the "lore" job of introducing them. I love the way the intro is utilised in this show, it's so creative. And the start of this arc is full of so many good story hooks!

Zess

I'm now officially caught up with where I left off on my own watch. And damn, stopped right before meeting the goat Schmidt who perfectly described my own spiritual view lol excited to see more of him and this order.

Ninaly

Waiting room time

Ninaly

I think the second timeskip is most people's favourites due to the characters, but I personally agree that this third timeskip is a level up in terms of plot, themes and philosophy!

DonDuh103

Yo Schmidt spitting in the beginning?

May Lin

I particularly love the opening change where instead of the orb necklace getting dropped into a pit of fire, it is now a cross. We also see the drastic shift with Schmidt’s entrance and forcing the heretics to declare to reject everything of the holy scriptures. I think when science is taken to an extreme, it does become faith. To be critical in thinking is to invite faith and still allow room for doubt. So it’ll be interesting to see how the new arc unfolds :)

the time skip rlly felt like like aot time skip
