I posted in the last episode, McKay liked it, but Brit's power is he is literally invincible. Which is funny cuz he should have that name, not Mark. Brit is a Human who's body can withstand any and all forms of damage. He's got super strength, but not as strong as say a Viltrumite.

Its a setup story line for a later episode just like episode 5 of last season was setup story line for this episode and now they're confused on a part of that story line that was built up. This isn't anime, just because its not dealing with the main concurring story line doesn't mean it should be skipped because this shows main thing is bringing everything back multiple times whether its characters or story lines.

They're entirely different animation styles, my dude. Invincible isn't trying to be anime. It's western cartoon art like Justice League Unlimited or Spider-Man animated cartoons, just with blood, gore and more adult themes.

Man I’ve said it under many posts now and im gonna keep saying it until someone listens. MAN you guys more so than any other channel are in desperate need of some sort of mod or mod team to keep you guys up to date on stuff. You guys seem too be the only channel that is pretty much consistently always wrong and it’s not your fault you seem to listen to your audience and take comments you read as fact and are more time then not given some sort of misinformation. There was one comment over a year ago that told you guys 3x5 is like a filler ep which was COMPLETELY FALSE so you skipped that entire ep before running it by anyone, an episode that set up all the plot threads for this episode not only that but we saw hundred of comments asking you to watch 3x5 and the Adam even special before anything else yet it doesn’t seem like y’all even knew…. I know people are gonna hit me with the bro…. It’s not that serious they watch a lot of shows and it happens and I know and I respect the hell out of the geks for that but my goodness no reaction channel is given more false info they get than these boys and it’s very clearly because they don’t have a mod of sorts to keep them up to date on the stuff they should know and haven’t watched.

I think the problem is some people told the Geks to skip 3x5 cause it was "filler" and you guys also skipped the AtomEve special, so you're missing some content and lack of understanding with what Eve is and what the plotlines for this episode were about

I mean he didn't try to kill the dinosaur guy, he thought about it and was maybe going to if the Guardians weren't there, and similarly probably would have killed Titan if Oliver didn't stop him. Additionally, the dragon is some sort of magical material that can't really be harmed, which is shown in S3 E5, which some said to skip. But yeah turns out if you're strong, it's hard to kill ya.

No, there is nothing filler in Invincible, it all comes back around multiple times. Like someone told you guys to skip S3 E5 which is why you didn't understand the old guy and the dragon. It'll keep happening if you skip things.

Even if he was about to kill dinosaur guy and Titan, he was interrupted before he could. You're making it sound like he couldn't if he wasn't interrupted. He could. Mark hasn't killed anyone himself yet, except the astronaut controlled by the sequids. Also, the dragon isn't just "strong" it's not able to be killed, like at all. It's magical. You gotta take out the old man's body, and the bodyguard, or the old man can be revived. Which is what already happened last time.

I think Mark and Oliver could have killed Liu but when Mark saw Titan he chose to let Liu get away and fight Titan instead. So its not like they were weaker than Liu

Yeah I don’t hate it by any means but I feel like season 1 was the peak of the show. Season 2 was good too but I’ve felt a lot of repetitiveness in the last 2 seasons and it’s not really that intriguing to me anymore. I still have hope they will cook but after episode 4 I’m a little hesitant

Just because we might complain about things doesn’t mean we don’t like the show, we know its potential and we know it’s not living up to that potential, at least in our eyes, so we want to it to get there and we know it can. We wouldn’t keep watching the show if we didn’t like it

The next episode is not filler because it's a show-exclusive storyline that was added by Invincible's author, Robert Kirkman. The show isn't always a one-to-one adaptation of the comics, because Robert is using it as an opportunity to refine the general story, so there's literally never any filler.

So he can't kill fodder, OR strong people is really what you meant. Angstrom survived, came back and then when Mark decided to actually kill him, he escaped again. He'll be back. Conquest survived. The only person Mark successfully killed was astronaut possessed by sequids so far. He tried against Volcanikka, didn't succeed.

Bro he beat Angstrom to the point he thought he killed him, we all did, apparently McKay still thinks he did too lol xD but he also won against Conquest. Just cuz these guys survived what clearly should be dead finishers, doesn't mean he can't kill em. Angstrom would have bled out, but he's got his teleport hacks and surgeon "friends". Conquest would have died, but Cecil decided to rescue him. It seems like every time Mark does try to kill someone, something or someone else intervenes to save them, eh? Whether it's dino guy after transforming back to a regular dude, saved by the Guardians, or it's Titan, saved by Oliver. Only one Mark has taken out is Rus Livingston the Astronaut sequid guy, so far. Even if you agree with Mark's attempts and successes, and are upset at the failures, his character is he's struggling with where to draw the line so he doesn't become a bad guy.

the definition of filler episode is an episode that does not advance the main plot or develop characters. I'd say the episode you guys skipped, which ik can't be changed now and anything up until now isn't filler. It all has character devolpment for the main characters or the main viltrumite story.

This is one of the reasons why I can't hate on the changes made to the show as an OG fan who read the series 10 years ago. I still prefer the comics because I don't think every new change Kirkman makes is good. The worst is obviously Amber, and we're going to miss out on an entire storyline because they changed her so much. Most of them have been good though imo

Robert Kirkman's involvement in the production is a double edge sword. On one side we got the author to improve the source material through the tv show but on the other the visual storytelling and animation was sacrificed for casting high profile actors/actresses to do the voice acting.
