BEST REFRESH

Mitch

The headband thing in the intro isn’t a super noticeable spoiler however if yall watched the intro 9 straight times before this i definitely think one of yall would’ve caught on

Monkey D.offy Lucci

The whole thing about Lisa Lisa is that Araki wanted Lisa Lisa to be way way more of a lead in part 2 but the editor (and its always the editors in Weekly Shonen Jump) suggested to change his mind because of their own belief ( the editors and publisher Shueisha) that ‘strong female leads’ do not sell big in shonen manga and magazines. This is still in the 80s with that mindset even though shoujo manga, since the 1980s, has developed stylistically while simultaneously branching into different and overlapping subgenres, like action adventures.

JoLen

6:24 Cannon I didn’t think you guys would have been spoiled, but we wanted to ere on the side of caution. The good news is, you should be able to watch the rest of the openings from now on without having to wait

beannie

LIKE A BLOODY STORM🌬️ ATSUKU LIKE A BLOODY STONE♦️🗣

Lamantho

this keeps getting parroted over and over but there is never any actual source provided for this. there is no actual evidence that the editors pushed back on this. its plausible sure, as araki has stated similar things about part 5 & 6, but he never actually said anything of the sorts that the editors made him reconsider lisa lisas presence in part 2

KillerCarWash

the whole time ive been watching the intro, id pause your guys' vid when you guys skipped it to watch it mckay.

This is Daniel

Sakura versus Sasori was a peak fight though...

Miitei

I think Carter probably would have notice the "spoiler" because he mentioned that he liked Ceasar's bandana. He could have made the connection maybe lol Still, the next part you can watch the opening after a few episodes (5-6)

beannie

I feel like if you have watched the show, you would already know the answer, Kishimoto didn’t know how to write female characters🫩

Miitei

Cannon was shipping so strongly that he even looks sad about Lisa Lisa being Joseph's mom 🤣

This is Daniel

What a superb post episode analysis! You guys are giving high IQs and deeply satisfying insights. Flowers to McKay for clocking the secret a few episodes ago, my jaw did droppeth 😅. Anyway, the beautiful thing about Jojo's is the story is extremely well written, and crescendos beautifully as the show progresses. Trust the process. Great reactions 😎👍🏾

beannie

Cannon unfortunately burned the stove with his lisa lisa and jojo hamon sperm theory😭

GBuckets

Guys make sure to watch the after credit of episode 26

Jammy

Momma Lisa Lisa

Julio Martinez

Getting one episode per video is crazy we need more😪. Part 3 and onward is definitely gonna make them do more than 1

Musoko

I need another jojo week like I need oxygen 🥵🥵🥵

Musoko

You people have an evil talent of making me want to fast forward through the weekend just for one 40 minute video

Alex Ramirez

Haha it was crazy in earlier episodes when you guys were shipping Joseph with Lisa Lisa and I kept saying in my head "I can't wait for them to find out about Lisa Lisa's back story 👀"

Mdgk

The Araki redemption concerning writing women will come.

Alex Ramirez

Musical references in this episode: Wired Beck is a reference to guitarist Jeff Beck and his album Wired. I think I forgot to say this but the Red Stone of Aja is a reference to the song and album Aja by Steely Dan.

Alex Ramirez

33:00 most JoJo openings are filled with spoilers, but the greatest thing about that is that they're hard to catch until you've seen what that spoiler is referencing. Next opening is safe to watch unless you want to go in blind on the characters (allies).

isa

y'all are lowkey cooking in the outro despite the bad memory lol

greyxwaren

i need 2 episode drops so bad please geks stop with the the blue balling PLEASEEEE

Monkey D.offy Lucci

The next part of Jojo is uncensored on amazon prime video. I repeat prime video has Jojo Part 3 Stardust Crusaders uncensored for 48 episodes. Netflix and Crunchyroll have part 3 censored.

Zipzzty

Always some editors 😭🤦‍♂️

peachy af

"comment below if you've ever peeped on your mom!"

JeanJean

Peak. Was nice to see some Lisa Lisa action. Can't wait for the next episodes.

peachy af

oh my god johnny joestar. it's an honor

peachy af

at the very least for p3 bc holy shit

beannie

I actually can’t wait for yall to hear Erwin in this show lol

Cipher

Disagree about it being a woman thing for Lisa Lisa. Imo she does more than Will A Zeppeli did (who fills the same mentor figure role). Just in the first two parts its the JoJos that get most of the Ws on the good side.

TheDirkiestDigg

Yeah, I agree. Most side characters so far have not done anything. Hell, she has already done more than Caesar at this point lmao

TheDirkiestDigg

Carter looking for the real freaks in the comments while Cannon really wants Joseph to get with his mom still lmao. Jojo's is making the Andrus brothers get freaky fr

Ricchan

Not really? Caesar and Joseph has had multiple scenes where they worked together and even has a full fight episode with Wamuu.

Miitei

I was ok with 1 episode when they were doing consecutive days drop, but with this one so spread out it's actually a pain 🥲

Crystal

Please watch off-campus😭🙏

Kyle

I love how they break out into opera singing now

Kae D. en

Ah yes, the reverse hindsight technique, haven’t used that one since the heian era

TheDirkiestDigg

Caesar has great moments with Joseph, but in terms of actually fighting/beating anyone, he only fights Wamuu. Once where it's over in half a second, and the other where he gets the lip ring and dies. He also helps save Suzie Q. Actually, now that I think about it, Lisa Lisa is the only non Jojo or antagonist to kill a named character in parts 1 and 2 so far. Other than the Quartet Straizo kills in Part 1 I suppose.

Vojee

saying thumbs up then saying that diabolical sentence is crazy lol

TheDirkiestDigg

Chariot battle is sick. Comes out of nowhere and is very unique. I was very excited to get to the next episodes when I watched this for the first time

Grady

Lisa Lisa finally clears Neptune

DonDuh103

What nob did Jojo just grab if that guy was on the door😭😭😭

DonDuh103

Lady Tsunade, Lisa Lisa, and Seiko Ayase are the Big 3 of cougar baddies😂😂😂

Lucas.

I really hope they decide to watch the uncensored version. The censored version is way too much.

E L

I can’t wait for Part3 😩

Safaricat

yes you did McKay i was shook. you randomly just threw it out there "what if that's his mom?" or something like that then an episode or two later they introduced Susie Q.

DonDuh103

Aye yo Lisa Lisa 50??? Lisa Lisa giving Lady Tsunade some competition😏😏😏

Safaricat

lmfao broooo that theory was so wild!! like a Golden Kamuy theory in my Jojo reference!! i have only seen that wild scene from Golden Kamuy and it's all i imagined but Hamon.

peachy af

OMGGGG *jumps 87 feet into the air*

Kurofi

Really enjoyed the post reaction analysis! Loving the Lisa Lisa redemption arc

kuza

joseph putting on the bandana was so fire

DonDuh103

Crazy how good part 1-2 is how many parts are there?

Lukeasbot

currently 6 parts are fully animated and the manga continues up to part 9 which is still being written. most of the fanbase agrees that the series generally gets better each part.

IQLou

Yeah I was supportive of them watching it earlier, then next episode Ceaser was introduced and Carter said that comment. They would of eventualy got it so its good they waited and didn't listen to me lol

IQLou

its so good!!

Poragami

we need a double drop man i want to finish season 1 so bad lmao

Ricchan

Tell me Lisa Lisa feats so far that puts her above Caesar lol. Killing a nobody when Caesar fought Wamuu for half an episode, Lisa Lisa has nothing on that. The best feats in Part 2 are done by Joseph, Caesar and Stroheim.

harp

wooo im so glad y'all finally watched the intro

Jonas Teigen

Lisa Lisa heard the hate and really just put on the shades and locked tf in lol.

Baccano!

I only just caught that the intro spoils Lisa Lisa. The song mentions inherited will being fate on the nude Lisa Lisa shot.

Baccano!

Agreed there's no proof of this. But their is proof of editor medalling in part 6 to do with women roles so it's easy to believe if they would do it 20 years later why not here as well

harlol

Please drop 2 episodes per drop!!!

mighty

I love it they have no idea how crazy it is going to get, I am so excited for rest of the episodes.

christopher

I watch the opening for 20 episode I dint see him die

mighty

like this comment guys if you don't want censored

Emily Rose

Carter talking about smut AGAIN

Ser Dunk the Tall

[One Piece] Can you guys rank the pre-timeskip arcs? Romance Dawn, Orange Town, Syrup Village, Baratie, Arlong Park, Loguetown, Reverse Mountain, Whisky Peak, Little Garden, Drum Island, Arabasta, Jaya, Skypiea, Long Ring Long Land, Water 7, Enies Lobby, Thriller Bark, Sabaody Archipelago, Amazon Lily, Impel Down, Marineford

JeanJean

It's actually unironically sad for Cannon . Bro can't even headcannon ship Lisa Lisa and Joseph together any more cause that's just disgusting. Brutal.

Emily Rose

It was in the outro, he said cannon was into that teacher to lover smut 😂

beannie

Wait, what the hell happens in golden kamuy that it reminded you of this lmao😭

harp

you guys fr gotta start doing double ep drops

Mikey

I beg for the uncensored version lol
