First off - yeah, you guys are in for something with the second half of this arc. Gonna be a treat for all of us fans of reactors, for damn sure. Also - you guys should go and check out an early MAPPA project called Terror in Resonance. Was an original anime they created with Watanabe, the Cowboy Bebop creator, and it's one of the early projects that I think most directly resembles, stylistically, where they've now wound up. The show itself isn't JJK level, but it's enjoyable enough and just a cool thing to look back on now seeing where they are. Would also add Kids on the Slope, but that's just because it's fucking amazing.

I’ve been waiting to see the content that will be animated this season put to the screen for almost five years now. If we’re being honest the culling games did not actually kick off for real until Yuta in Sendai. Everything up until that episode was set up. This whole season will be peak! Some of the best fights and moments in the series.

To be fair, I had the same experience when I finished S1 of Chainsaw Man. Burned through all the manga up to that point, roughly 2 or 3 years ago. Can only remember segments, so the watch always brings great things to the forefront 😎

I feel like if Amazon hired lesser known actors for Invincible, maybe they could put more money into the animation, maybe not MAPPPA level, but they’d be able to produce some higher quality animation.

They probably would have announced already whether it was airing in the winter anime season (basically October this year), could be wrong but it will most likely be January or summer 2027 :)

S3 was planned to be 2 parts one coming out at the beginning of the year and the second at the end of the year, when Culling games p1 ended they said they will be doing second part S4 coming out next year, I guess that's why is already like this

I’m pretty sure they have different people animating separate episodes so they have parts of episodes done and they use that as the trailer but they also have it done months ahead too before release.
