I’ll be honest. I watched Champloo for the first time recently. And I honestly think you are blinded by nostalgia. Like the show is fine, but it’s way too episodic and the characters aren’t that deep. It’s a fun watch sure, but nothing too special

Wish I could vote for both Gurren Lagann and Monster, both are absolute legendary levels of peak and some of the highest highs in anime.. Parasyte is good and a very beloved series but not in the same ballpark. Fate Strange Fake is actually the best Fate work and most interesting grail war.

Yeah, I don’t think they would be at all ok with some of the awfully disturbing scenes in Made in Abyss. That anime has quite a bit of messed up content. The author should honestly be in prison. It has so many well written aspects, but is completely ruined by what is basically CP, and because of that I could not finish watching it and couldn’t in my right mind recommend it to anyone. Which is a real shame because the world building is so well done, but it was just something that I could not get past. It made me quite sick to my stomach actually
