Lapp

the lone walker is so peak such good scenes

Mia Malvik ⚞ • ⚟

Jack's ability to stay calm during discussions when everyone jumps on what he says when he's making great points is seriously commendable lol. I would absolutely throw hands

honey☂️

when i figadid out and i figadid out pretty quickly

parALICEis

Hey ^^ i think this is the earliest I ive ever caught a new drop XD. btw i wanted to ask you guys if you also read new comments made on old posts ?

Paris

Hey guys, will you be reacting to XMen 97? They’re both great seasons and they’re very mature in terms of writing. Not kiddish

Luker

here before the million of comments talking about how the lonely walker in the field mirrors shane feeling alone in the group

Ashley K

Why does Beth low key look like Jungkook a little bit lol

Ashley K

DAMN IT ANDREA 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻

Zaraiz Khan

cannon rewinding the moment made me happy ahhaha now you know how we feel lmao

Zaraiz Khan

i dont think shane has an ego problem. I think his situation is just fucked lol. he really believed that his best friend was dead, so he did what rick would want, and he saved his family. i think he then fell in love with lori. shane still cares for rick, thats why he backs off and tries to leave, cuz he just cant handle watching the woman he loves with someone else. you forced the man into a cuck role lol. now he has to watch another man raise his kid(potentially). i think the baby is the main reason he decided to stay too. just a fucked situation all around lol, the writing is too good. especially this episode.

Ayoodude

I hate Lori good gosh

Mia Malvik ⚞ • ⚟

What Shane feels towards Lori isn't love, it's possession. He literally tried to assault her. And no, alcohol is not an excuse

Nasty

Yea worst character in the show for sure

Frizen

I really hate that the Netflix version cuts out the needle drops continuing into the credits, it greatly reduces their impact and ruins the vibe. Them cutting right before the chorus of "The Regulator" in the Nebraska ep is actually criminal.

Jake

Nah it’s okay McKay I love Andrea

Zaraiz Khan

Yeah no excuse for that, but I think that in his mind he thought that she loved him too

Mia Malvik ⚞ • ⚟

Yeah he probably does, and he also probably believes that he loves her. But he doesn't and it's clear through his actions in comparison to Rick

Guremaru

I was dying at Carter’s imitating Andrea talking about the CDC LOL

Pudding

😂😂

Mia Malvik ⚞ • ⚟

I like Andrea too because she's direct and doesn't take anybody's bullshit. Some of her moments are unfortunately cringe and questionable

Ante

Team Andrea low key... she was kinda cooking with the 'she has to decide for herself' thing.

Safaricat

he was always into Lori. Once he got a taste he became possessive. He was envious of Rick before the Walkers and he still is now. He said it in the last episode that they were a long time coming. he's compltely delusional even before the baby issue. he saw his opportunity and he took it. He needs to stop living in a delusion though, Carl is not his kid and Lori is not his wife. The way he tries to parent Carl since season 1 has pissed me off. I can't believe you're saying Shane still cares about Rick when literally a few episodes ago he thought about shooting him and only didn't cause Dale caught him. sure Lori sucks but honestly she's doing right by her husband and family. She didn't force him into a cuck situation he has sto remember that's his friends wife. This just reinforces he harbored feelings for her to begin with. this character is literally the reason i hate Jon Bernthal. "Watch another man raise his kid" he's been trying to do that to Carl even after Rick came back and sorry just because you're boning someone's mom doesn't mean you get to be their dad hence why he's still refered to as uncle. it doesn't matter genetically who that kid belongs to what matters is who raises that kid.

Makenzie

Every time someone mentions Andrea I keep thinking of how different Andrea’s storyline is in the comics.

marco

brodogulus maximus the show totally ruined my waifu andrea she's so much better in the comics

Ayo Bee

I don't find the situation with Rick is different than Shane. What Rick did was no different than what he did in the first episode. He's a police officer. The same thing would have happened before this apocalypse too. What Shane did was NOT the same. His motive can be justified, but the way it went down was not right morally.

Jake

Yes I totally agree

kri

team rick team lori team rick team lori team rick team lori

Enma

Kind of funny how we are going backwards with tv shows with memes in a way. Like first it was breaking bad, then the walking dead, and recently it was dexter. I could see lost making a comeback.

Zaraiz Khan

Shane is not a good guy by any means. I personally just dont think that he was looking at Lori pre apocalypse. I think Lori is equally at fault. Rick's the only one that has done no wrong. Thats why hes the goat. I just dont think its as simple as "shanes evil". I think before the apocalypse he was a good cop and friend. Its showing us that the circumstances we undergo and the decisions we make, change us. For better or for worse. Worse in Shane's case lol.

TheSauceGuy

The walker skulls in this show are actually made of butter lol

TheSauceGuy

If Lori's child is born and the first words are "lemme tell you something," we'll know who's kid it is.

kri

I'm really liking this watch with y'all because its like i have so much opinions after watching this season a third time, it's really insightful to see everyone's newer/fresher perspectives on the characters

Eleeeeeeeee

No the reason why you cant just go around killing people even in this apocalypse isnt just about your own humanity, but its also about social cohesion as a group. How are people going to work with you and trust you if you willy nilly just kill innocent people or seem to hold little regard for human life. With Ottis, it wasnt just that killing Ottis made Shane go crazy, it also ostracized him from the rest of the group who no longer trusts him to make rationale and moral decisions.

kri

diva off between rick and shane . who will reign supreme?!?!

Carter D. Andrus

No plans for it right now but never say never

Sari-chan

I feel like Shane wants to survive just to survive. Rick is still trying to live. Build a future and thrive as much as the world can let him. I think having a wife and two kids definitely changes how you see it. You want more from life than "not be dead". Now about the Lori/Andrea talk, I hate that Lori thinks a woman have to be a domesticated homemaker. Andrea contributes.

Eros Zaragoza

But why leave just that one movie out?🥹 pleaseee its so good!😵‍💫

kri

I understand andrea’s view on the whole beth situation because she views ko’ing yourself as a personal decision/an autonomy thing or whatever . But i feel like she didn’t consider the fact that she’s a grown woman and beth is still a teenager, who is freshly grieving the death of her family members. I feel like she (beth) is in no stable position to make such a permanent decision. I definitely don’t agree with andrea just leaving her alone in there and allowing beth to make that choice .

Ron

Off topic can we bring back movie reacts? Obsession is out on digital

kri

and i also understand that beth may have needed a near death experience to realize she wanted to live, but if you were maggie, would you really let her risk that🤔 . Like let her attempt (andrea literally inviting her to do it) and trust it wouldn't be successful?

codesterr

yeah its crazy how they jump on him immediately for the most lukewarm take. he says alot of good comments. jack's stronger than me fs

Mia Malvik ⚞ • ⚟

Yes thank you! Obviously most of it is just banter but sometimes like the end of this video I'm like... If I were Jack I'd crash out lmao. Not even trying to understand what he's saying

jrnoodles

Thanks Geks! Shane is kinda losing it

Mia Malvik ⚞ • ⚟

Yesss thanks for saying this, I completely agree. Beth and Andrea's situations are completely different and leaving her alone was a huge gamble. Maggie should be angry even if it turned out okay

Mia Malvik ⚞ • ⚟

Also think Beth would have come out of that dark mindset she was in without the near death experience

HeartlandHunny

As someone who has experienced suicidal ideation, I can’t stand Andrea in this episode. When you’re to that point, you *think* you’re thinking rationally, but you aren’t. You’re not in your right mind; your perspective is so skewed. You can only see the bad and somehow think that anyone who sees hope is the delusional one. The people around you who are in their right minds and have perspective should absolutely protect you from yourself until you’re in your right mind again. Beth didn’t need a knife, she needed time! To grieve, to process. What if she’d slit her wrists, decided she wanted to live, but they got to her too late? It’s not caring to humor someone’s suicidal ideation. And whether it was the best approach or not, Maggie had every right to be mad at Beth. I’ve seen the aftermath of people losing a loved one to suicide. It’s the heaviest grief you could ever ask a person to bear. Maggie had every right to yell at her, and to be furious with Andrea.

kri

100% . Beautifully said!

cruiser

It only gets worse

kri

bruh when worlds collide

Yara

i agree 50/50 with lori & andrea on this one Andrea barking that she should let Beth take her own life and thats her decision that was actually so dumb of her to say that when clearly she herself pulled through only bc Dale didn't let her die same as what Lori is trying to do with Beth so she should actually understand better Lori though still pisses me off like telling Andrea she should be doing laundry or whatever and that shes not pulling her weight, thats so not true like hunting & being on watch are contributing also to the group, you don't need to be a man to do it, and also good point did she ever apologize for crashing Maggie' car like that was not okey her going off on her own doing dumb shit getting herself almost killed for no fkg reason

kri

BRUH IM CRYIGN

Poragami

now i don't know if Jack watched it till now or not because the scene with beth at the beginning like... why would u say that after all she said was "how could u get pregnant" lol

Poragami

andrea's take is actually so incredibly stupid i cant

dia

while i do agree, and i've also had the same experience, i think living i an actual zombie apocalypse is a whole different scenario. obviously giving the knife to a child isn't a great decision, but it is true that they will experience pain, loss and grief exponentially more than if it was the regular world, so i don't think the same rules apply

Owl

I can’t stop laughing 🤣

kri

Ok the whole Lori and Andrea fight is just a whole mess! I don’t think it was right for Lori to push this role on Andrea that she had to do all the domestic chores like all the women while all the men do protecting/fighting. But I genuinely think Andrea’s comments were coming from a place of jealousy. Yes, it was definitely stupid of Lori to crash the car but Andrea had her moments as well. Shooting at Daryl by accident, she could’ve seriously hurt him but lucky for her she freaking missed. Criticizing Lori for making a similar, honest/human mistake. This is why I believe the Lori hate is unjustified, because people just like to nitpick her over the most HUMAN (albeit stupid) things. Just like the rest of the characters she’s definitely not perfect, and can be annoying, but she means well and like others’ have mentioned is doing right by her husband and kid. Anyway, and Andrea emphasizing having a baby on the way as good news! Girl! If anything Lori will struggle the MOST out of everyone in this apocalypse imagine running from walkers w a humongous belly. Be fr. I do like Andrea, but i think her resentment of Lori taking everything for granted, is really just her projecting what SHE’D find ideal for herself in that situation.

DonDuh103

Bro Rick’s head tilt just might be a tick but makes him look more intimidating

Arsheley

What is Skyler sin?? Not wanting the father of her children to be a criminal??

Patrick Bateman

Wait what ? If anything it's Andrea for me lol. On the rewatch Lori doesn't seem so bad.

Patrick Bateman

Man these episodes are really good. Brings back the good old days

Mia Malvik ⚞ • ⚟

I mean I'm not going to point fingers and stuff. Idk how this taken badly when it's simply a compliment to Jack for doing something I wouldn't be able to.

James Burge

Yeah especially when Andrea was a grown ahh woman when she was suicidal but Beth’s like 17 and she wants to give her a knife 🤣

Poragami

especially because its been a couple of bad days, she was literally fine before that and you never know how long those days will last lol

Poragami

-obsession but yes, i'd love to see some Movies again

saida

we’re finally here!!! i can never watch these drops on time bruh, can’t wait for THE LINE to be said!

Keanu

I honestly think the Lori hate and why she's so divisive a character is because of how she is written. She's a bit confusing to me, she sends mixed messages and she's just not consistent. For starters a lot of her character motivations are supposed to revolve around Carl, she is supposed to be a doting mother however we barely ever see her interact with him. And anytime Carl is showing signs of having trouble processing the new world, instead of being a parent and trying to explain or correct the situation, she acts shocked, runs to Rick and blames him for not being around. She even suggests when he is shot that it might be merciful to just let him die, Rick talks her out of it. Then she wants to abort her pregnancy for the same exact reason, didn't we already cover this? He spoke about the deer Lori! Then this episode she berates Andrea for having the same exact worldview towards Beth. On two different occasions Lori has concluded that it is more merciful to take a child out of this world than make them live in it. Yet can't see where Andrea is coming from? Why the writers didn't draw from her past experience here is beyond me. Then there's the whole Shane debacle, pushing him away, to the point he's ready to leave. Then in a moment of vulnerability telling him to stay, then saying he's dangerous to Rick when Shane inevitably falls back into his delusion. What Shane said this episode is really important, "I didn't save them man, they saved me." Shane has latched onto this duty of protecting them as a means of coping with the situation, he was ready to leave, he had accepted that, but SHE pulled him back in. She has this righteous air about her that she hasn't earned, she constantly lectures other members of the group when she hasn't shown any signs of being able to sort out her own problems. Again this is all writing choices in my opinion, she is a confusing character and it's pretty hard to actually figure out what she wants most of the time. Obviously you guys still have a long ways to go but these are just the examples from what you have seen.

Jessica

this whole episode is full of memes I can’t 😭

Keanu

I don't think they were jumping on him? I think he started talking about something unrelated and they tried to pull him back on track. If you're talking about what I think you are

S Moonchild⁷

It must be so sad to see your friend spiral down a toxic path in a world that is going the same way. Rick is trying to keep himself sane, his family and the group, while holding onto his best friend's humanity.

Ayoodude

I’ve been apart of this community long enough to know that Jack definitely gets the brunt of most clap backs lol that being said sometimes it is 100% deserved, BUT I think more times then not he ends up being right or on the right track with stuff. All that being said…this is all in good fun love y’all 😘

Mia Malvik ⚞ • ⚟

Yeah I'm just talking about how Jack simply made an additional point about how it's harder to kill someone if you know them, while also agreeing that the situation matters a lot which is what Carter said. Jack made a great point. I don't think providing additional insight is getting off track because it was totally related to the subject. Cannon and Carter's reactions were weird to me, that's all. I would personally have gotten annoyed in this situation that's all I'm saying 😭😭 I'm very aware of how they joke around a lot

jasmin

i help keep this place safe-from who daryl with heat stroke

Anya

So slow 🥀

Anya

We're the ones who live!

Anya

How dare you 😭 take that back!

Anya

LMAO stop it 😭

selmak13

"it's really insightful to see everyone's newer/fresher perspectives" unless they differ from yours, then they are small brained and you are big brained, right?

saida

i know 😔😔

kri

Yeah I meant the Geks since it's their first time watching, and i think they've been pretty thoughtful about their takes

saida

i don't hate or love lori, but you just put into perspective for me why i find her character so confusing.

saida

you're kidding! that explains a lot but now i can't look at butter the same way again.

saida

one thing i keep thinking about when it comes to randall is how come keeping him alive with the group isn't an option? like why are the only two options: drive him out somewhere safe and let him try and survive on his own, or kill him on the spot? i understand the reasons: they can't risk him exposing their location, there is no telling if he isn't a literal psychopath, he could try and kill one of them as soon as he's free and going by who his companions were—he could force himself on one of the girls too. i guess the reason i wonder this is because, if he does try anything, they'd have a less guilt-inducing reason to kill him other than "he knows where we are", yano? but obviously, no one wants to risk that and i know it's a tough decision. could never be in rick or shane's shoes man.

keyla

oh beth....

Ceci

okay can we pleeeeease get more

Akodros

Yesss, I have new episodes built up from while I was on my trip!

TheSauceGuy

I meant they're super soft, not literally lol

saida

“actually” threw me right offff, thanks for clarifying xo

Andrew Lynch

Need more of this shit is addicting

Luke Fox

Why I like Lori, its Andrea thats the annoying one

James Burge

Lucky I wish I was patient and do that

Picasso

Can Carter handle it? Lol nasty stuff in there 🤣

Zipzzty

23:40 Iconic 😭

Jesper

episode 2x2 is still locked

Lumen

What?

Lumen

Do you seriously think that your unoriginal sexism is funny? I mean, sure it’s laughable but not in the way you’d like it to be.

Lumen

That situation vs person debate at the end was weird. Of course both matter. And most likely equally matter. And boy in the white t shirt is wrong. Shane ABSOLUTELY feels zero guilt for killing Ottis. I’d love to hear why he thinks he feels any guilt.

Riya

for some reason it felt pointless just to save the guy, treat him, and leave him deserted with his hands tied in a deserted place. And they also had to come all the down to this place just to get more problems and get tangled in a mess. Rick did not want to bring that guy's buddies that were requesting multiple times and instead bring this guy. I get they felt bad but they just ended up creating more problems for themselves

Damon Sun

both lori and and andrea are so hated is not without reason.

Ainsley Chang

It is even more maddening to me that Andrea quite literally encouraged Beth when she had to experience the loss of her own little sister. And then trying to justify it to Maggie? We really are laust.
