For me, with shonen anime it's not about "wich one is perfect", it's more about the arcs and moments you do enjoy. Naruto and HxH are far from perfect, just as One Piece is far from perfect and that is, in my opinion, totally acceptable! As long as you know and accept that sometimes you have to endure the slobb to get to the epic stuff, will make it way easier and more fun to watch/experience the show. U guys are doing a great job with this series! Dont let the loudmouths and hindsight-merchants take away or influence your criticism and opinions!

Oda explains in a Q&A that it’s the first bite of a devil fruit that gives you the power, so you don’t need to eat the whole thing. Once that first bite is taken, the rest of the fruit is dead, preventing others from gaining the power from left overs

No, you don't have to eat the whole devil fruit to get its powers. As soon as you take a bite, you get the powers, and the rest of the fruit becomes useless. Pretty sure that was shown when CP9 ate the fruits.

with hxh manga returning this year, the latest arc will finally conclude, at least thats what people hope for. we might have hxh anime return shortly. if thats the case, you'll definitely review the eleciton arc differently since its pretty much just an introduction arc to all the key characters who played a major role in the current ongoing arc. its just sad that the anime stopped right there. as for the zoldyck arc i think its alright, its not anything amazing but its short.

Except when it comes to bad takes on HxH, of course.

To me, Zoro started changing after Thriller Bark. He had plenty of goofy moments. He balanced being a badass with being comic relief. After Thriller Bark, and especially after the timeskip, he became much more stoic and serious. He rarely jokes anymore, barely shows much emotion outside of fights, and just comes across as moody. He’s still cool, but I definitely miss the old Zoro who felt like he was having fun with the crew.

Cannon made an amazing theory just here, never thought of it before but I think subscribe to it now. That Blackbeard's whole cloak trick was to take a fruit underneath, let it turn into the devil fruit as Whitebeard passes, and then for him to eat that. It does take away some of the mystery, because essentially he just does a very normal thing. But the trick is maybe not what he did, but the fact he CAN eat 2 devil fruits without dying. That is a mystery we don't have an answer to yet but we may find out about in the future.
