Conman

Avdol is dead rip 🙏

Johnny Joestar ✰ ྀིྀི

Yay Jojos! Will you guys react to the ghost in the shell anime? It’s a 90s anime that got a remake and the first episode is really good.

N P

Aww, no double drop this time

spoopyjhope

SPOILERS// . . . . honestly yeah the comments on the avdol death episode were so bad idk why people thought they were convincing 😭😭

beannie

The cope over Avdol's death is insane lol😭

antonio bascuñan

the reason animals get maimed so often is because author believes that people who hurt animals are irredeemable. TLDR it shows a character's villainy

Shane

I’m curious how many episodes it’s gonna take for Cannon to give up hope on Avdol.

This is Daniel

Joseph Joestar, the master strategist. PS - are we still getting our double drop this week?! 😬

beannie

Can’t wait for them to meet my favorite Jojo: Joe Jonas🔥

Jonas Teigen

Loved the first episode!!! Hope they react to it.

This is Daniel

Are you thinking of the film, or the series? Because the film is amazing; and I've heard the series is also great.

Grenadoxy

Rise like a phoenix?! Sounds a good start to eurovision reaction

Ante

I'm a Jon Jones man myself.

MTB Fallout

I had this reaction the first time I saw Avdol die as well. For a show that usually does deaths so well, his felt so anticlimactic. RIP the goat

Daniella

Cannon's snorting copium with Avdol 💀

Daniella

I can't with Joseph's engrish it's too funny and one of the reasons why i love this part lmao

Apollo

💀CHUMININ~

GBuckets

How the heck did you guys have no faith with the GOAT himself. I'm disappointed in you guys

christopher

yea sure, Avdol is alive, sure and Dio is a good guy who is just misunderstood and Jotaro is actually a fraud who is super weak.

Nrock23

Please we need dune

Shane

I thought Eren’s was 3 episodes? Could be mistaken, it’s been a while since I watched AoT Although I think something they’ve forgotten is how quickly jobros have already died after being introduced. OG Zeppeli dies three episodes after we meet him lmao

Enma

I hope they watch the movie first; its an absolute classic.

Sg

The next episode is a stand alone so doing episode 14/15 together to make up for the missing drop would work out perfectly and much appreciated! I think that would do it Justice

Tarot Trivia The stand of Nena, Empress Based on No. 3 in the Tarot deck, The Empress The Empress stands for fertility, growth, abundance and motherhood. In reverse, it symbolizes dependence, selfishness, and smothering love. Depicted with the symbol of Venus, and often associated with her, The Empress is the representation of secular femininity, matching the Emperor's secular masculinity. There's a very clear connection here, as The Empress is a stand that parasitizes the victim, growing as a tumorous mass on their body, displaying a perverse sense of "parenthood" by the host. The cancerous nature of Empress is a very apparent representation of the selfish dependence the reverse card stands for.

Ep 12 commentary “We begin in fanfare with Enya the Hag's crazy fit even before the opening. This Episode 12 is sure to be wild. There's a certain melancholy exuding from the sacred city of Benarès. This is kind of the storyboard and director of this episode Satoshi Osedo's personal touch. A real treat. The doctor was also really funny. He is dubbed by Ikkyu Juku who has perfectly nailed the character of the shady physician operating with rusted knives. His acting is a perfect fit. Since we're talking about the VAs, I also like Joseph and Empress's performance. Their dialogue is a dogged back-and-forth that doesn't seem to end. Despite its small size, Empress is already capable of the worst. Seeing Joseph struggling and running across the town, we see that his strength has considerably diminished compared to his prime. Even the Ripple (harmon), a technique of which he's an expert, is ineffective. We have trouble recognizing the man who has defeated Kars (laughs)! The Pillar Men would be sad to see him now. Thankfully, the Joseph we know resurfaces with one of his tricks and manages to defeat his opponent. In the last part, Joseph tosses the car keys, which land on Polnareff's hair (laughs). It's an a little original gag, but it's pleasant to see Osedo add his personal touch.” - Naokatsu Tsuda

The namesake of Nena is a reference to the German band/singer Nena that sang the 80 hit, 99 Luftballons or also known as 99 Red Ballons

Yare yare daze

Tbh Avdol's death was a bit underwhelming compared to the Zeppelis, so I think that's also what's making Cannon think he's still alive. I've seen a lot of people criticize that aspect of his character, saying we didn't really go anywhere with him, no character arc, no major development, nothing comparable to the Zeppelis, which I think is a fair criticism if you want to be subjective. But Avdol was never introduced as a character who was supposed to go through an "arc" to me, he's the archetype of a complete character, similar to Uncle Iroh from ATLA

Day 21 of asking studio gek to react to epic the music

Oscar Medina

Good point at 9 minutes. If Silver Chariot had cut the tumor off this episode would not have happened

YWM

the GOAT Joseph

Kurofi

Lmaooooo

DonDuh103

I’m curious to ask what’s y’all’s favorite show to watch right now. I know it’s hard to pick, all the shows are great but what’s giving yall the itch, my guess right now is yall are loving Teach You A Lesson?

Kurofi

HORY SHIEEEET

DonDuh103

Polnareff almost got the Denji first kiss treatment🤮🤮🤮🤮

DonDuh103

I can’t believe homan doesn’t work tho against stands?

Hegataro

The first of many great "Joseph screams in English the entire time" episodes

taybrim

i thought maybe you guys would pick up on it by now but its not joe-tar-oh 😭😭

Joao Pucci

Honestly after the next episode they should be all double drops

1804

Joseph is a very endearing character tbh, and Polnareff is unlucky lol

peachy af

SPOILERS yeah same 😭😭😭😭 like the "sigh gone too soon" like you guys are genuinely pissing me off LOL and i couldnt even say anything either bc then itd be even more obvious so i just seethed in silence

spoopyjhope

spoilers// . . . . . . No fr and they're still doing it in this comment section 👎👎😭

Emmanuel

I really hope they switch to fixed subs (fansubs) for Part 4 onwards because missing out on the musical references in THOSE parts especially is going to take a lot of the personality out of JoJo's...

Emmanuel

Hermit Purple's actual capabilities are a lot better than its first showing would have lead you to believe. It's a great utility stand, divination basically shows you any kind of information you're after as long as you provide a medium (spirit photography, messages through TV channels, the dust map from this episode). I think Araki knew Joseph could potentially steal a lot of spotlight from the Jotaro as the new main JoJo, had he given him a combat oriented humanoid stand like the rest of the main crew has.

Mitch

Amazon is the only streaming service with part 3 uncensored. I’d 100% rather have uncensored anime then fully accurate subs. From the next part onwards I believe streaming has both portions uncensored so it won’t be an issue

Mitch

They never have faith in the 1v1s in this part 😭😭

Kayanolive

SPOILERS . . . . . . . . I cooked with my comment in that episode i wish more ppl locked in

Kayanolive

Is that thing on josephs arm choppers va?

Vojee

Jose Joestar would be cool

kuza

oh no
