Jojo fans will hate me for this but highkey I’d prefer one drop with two episodes a week rather than 3 separate single episode drops. Legit every episode from now are two parters and it ruins the momentum of the story splitting it up imo

But before anything else, did you honestly think that the confrontation would take the entirety of the episode? It could have been shorter, but I had to try this approach (laughs). Effectively, I think that stretching the whole battle into a whole episode was the best way to represent this suffocating and unbearable heat. The characters put up with it for a long time and begin to lose their minds little by little. Mr. Soejima was in charge of the direction of the scene where their heads are spinning, literally, with rotation and distortion effects onscreen. He's always full of ideas, and I knew that he'd propose something interesting: I am happy to have followed his advice. The sun looks like it is in 3D, but it was entirely animated by hand by Mr. Kouta. The supplementary arrangements of the image then gave it this striking impression of power. Yeah no... I'd still rather have more episodes ngl. I get that it breaks the rythm for some, but if that bothers you, you're always free to wait until the next drop. Some of the people who wanted double drops were also arguing that we'd still be at part 3 in like october at a 3 episodes a week pace. So that wouldn't get any better either.

I’m fine with how it is. Maybe 2ep with 2 days a week instead of 3 days with 1ep. Only if that would fit in their schedule but it seems they like this schedule and have been on track with drops. It’s hard for them cause one change and people spam complain. Same if they miss a drop.

I think the main reason is the abundance of two parters which can feel even longer as a single drop. But as long as yall dont mind its far from the end of the world. I got one pace over on the one piece drops im pretty happy already lmao.

The manga goes through several artstyles as the parts go on, with it looking more like the anime starting at like part 3? Thing is with the anime coming out wayyy later they were taking from Araki's later artstyle right from the start!

Araki's art style improves after every part. The further you get into the series, you are able to tell that his style has become more detailed and technical, like the posing of his characters and the framing of the characters and using contrast and so on. His earlier parts feel like a romanticization or appreciation for the manga during and/or before his time, like Fist of the North Star. Its really him mastering the fundamentals while trying to find his own unique style. And in the middle parts are where we start to see the fruits of his development, like parts 4 & 5. Parts 6, and especially 7 & 8 are just a masterclass. One of the things I respect about Araki is that he is someone that is constantly trying new things and is never remaining comfortable with where he is at. The man is truly in his own lane.

About the double drops thing, Y’all can sue me for saying this, but as a Part 3 fan (it’s my favorite part in JJBA), I agree with the guys, what they said at the beginning about enjoying the show the way they want to. The comments were lowkey overdoing it complaining they don’t double drop, but I think that one single drop is literally fine, they can enjoy the show more by watching it slow, besides, people saying part 3 is stretched out or long are overdramatic, dare I say, like, no it’s not, it’s literally 48 episodes, compared to other anime’s, that’s nothing. And this show is about a bizarre adventure, we all know it’s impossible to be bored of this show no matter how long it stretches out even if it was a 100000 episodes. Part 3 is fun wether if it’s watched in double drops or single drops! I said what I said!

In regards of the manga style, let's remember the first part came out in 1987 and the anime is from 2012. Even Steel Ball Run was done by the time part 1 was adapted into anime 😭 Anime staff just adapted with Araki's style at the time hence why it looks different

Personally, I'm happy with the 3 x weekly uploads for Jojo's. Occasional double drops work if it means you're not over exerted. Loving the reactions btw. This was a funny episode. Jack's laugh is still the standout performance; coupled with Cannon's reaction to Joseph's cussing 😄

Arakis art definitely changes and grows and its very apparent in the Manga. The animation crew did what they could to mix in the new and old style so thats why it looks so diffrent from the first volumes and slowly begins to look more like the manga.
