The fatigue is real unless you are a Batman, Spiderman or Deadpool movie right now. They're really the only superhero movies of the last 5 years to hit super high box office numbers. Superman, F4, Thunderbolts, and Guardians 3 were all phenomenal though as well. I think people are more fatigued of bad to just okay superhero movies.

Pedros fantastic 4 is decent and you should watch it before this because it ties in directly and if you guys haven’t watched multiverse of madness thats a good movie too, sam raimi is the director the one who directed the og spiderman movies, thats a good watch too, but i suggest watching fantastic 4 and the thunderbolts before doomsday, ofcourse the loki series which is incredible but those 2 definitely

I'd definitely recommend Fantastic 4, it was really good! I'd day react to it on the channel even since you're going to have to watch it before Doomsday. X-Men are from a different timeline, I'm guessing they will be in this movie through Loki somehow, like the incursions from that show or timelines bleeding together. While I joined the channel for all the anime, I grew up with the MCU like y'all, so I'd love all the MCU content you guys want to put on the channel.

Deadpool 3 and 3rd tom holland spiderman movie convinced marvel that what people want is not a good movie, but to just shove as much characters from every super hero movie ever into one movie. One day disney will buy out the rights to dc comics and will try to put superman and batman in avengers 10.

I don't know if this is recency bias but I just saw The Odyssey in theaters and the look of that film was phenomenal because they used practical effects and shot on location in real places and now I'm watching the Doomsday trailer with cgi and its like night and day. But regardless, I want to give this movie a chance and I'm like you guys I have not seen a lot of marvel movies since endgame....so hopefully this lives up to the hype 👍. I also can't wait for Dune 3, it comes out on December 18th as well so I'm going to see both movies on the same day 😂

I hate to be that guy but man I really just didn’t feel much of anything watching this trailer. When Infinity War and Endgame trailers came out it felt like the entire world was shook. Maybe it’s unfair but it just felt so bland in comparison. Thor giving Steve Mjolnir being the big twist/reveal in big 2026, reheating the nachos with the same elderly X Men cast we’ve been seeing die and restart over and over again for the past 25 years, having to dig up Chris Evans and RDJ because the main cast of Avengers is so weak (Helena, Falcon Cap, MBaku and Namor… come on) WAY more excited for Spiderman Brand New Day

Ya maybe I’m not even excited for new Spider-Man and they taking too long on the spider verse that I forgot it wasn’t even finished. Also Spider-Man don’t count in my book since it’s the only story they can get right. Deadpool too like that shit only exist cause Ryan so the MCU don’t get that on there résumé. Phase 4 has been a one sided cooked pancake with no syrupy. Also I’m putting my bar low so hopefully these will be good so all my disrespect is just due to the handling of phase 4. Like there was some good stuff in it but the good stuff didn’t get cared for like Moon knight, WandaVison, Enternals, flopped the follow up on Falcon x Wintersoldier. Just disappointed😭😭

I’m really not a fan of the direction the MCU seems to be going in. As a huge comic fan, Doctor Doom has always been one of my favorite characters. Victor von Doom has one of the most fascinating and epic backstories in Marvel, and one of the most unique personalities in all of comics, they honestly could have made an entire movie or even series just about his rise. He was born into an impoverished Romani community in Latveria under a cruel monarchy. His family was harassed and persecuted, his mother practiced witchcraft and made a bargain with Mephisto and vanished, his family was persecuted and his father died trying to protect him. Victor escaped, survived through his own genius, eventually mastering both science and magic. Then you have his rivalry with Reed Richards, afterwards his attempts to travel into Hell and rescue his mother’s soul, and his return to Latveria to overthrow the monarchy and become its absolute ruler. There was so much potential to show how someone with understandable motivations and came from nothing, gradually descended into becoming a villain and dictator. They could have spent years developing him and turning him into a fan-favorite character before making him the MCU’s main villain. Instead, it feels like they’re dropping him onto the screen out of nowhere just reducing him into some kind of Tony Stark variant. That’s my biggest problem with the MCU right now. It feels like they’re thinking short term, just stuffing their movie with as many heroes and cameos as possible for shock value, instead of properly building the teams, villains, relationships, and storylines before bringing everything together for a grand finale. Thanos was first teased around 6/7 years before Infinity War. Doom was introduced at the end of Fantastic Four in 2025, and now Doomsday is already coming in 2026. That just feels crazy rushed for a character as important as Doctor Doom. At this point, I’m hoping Doomsday leads into something similar to the 2015 Secret Wars comic and ends with the MCU being rebooted, because honestly, I think that’s what the franchise needs.
