Just like we said Sabaody to Marineford was 200 episodes of straight peak (with some hiccups), From Dressrosa, it will also be 700 episodes of STRAIGHT PEAK. Punk Hazard and Fishman island are definitely the two worst arcs of the post-timeskip.

I love how Bellemere will always be a part of Nami, no matter how much time passes. I also love how Oda keeps highlighting that side of her from a storytelling perspective through her bond with Jinbe, the way she is with kids, and her mom. I also really love the little conversation between Nami and Usopp where he mentions that her mom was a Marine. They’re such small moments, but they mean so much.

Re: outro discussion - Being a warlord is a contract with the govt, while being an emperor is more of being a threat/influence/respect level indication. An emperor doesn't need any deals with the govt at all. The warlords are given free reign since they're forced to answer the govt's call to arms for any battle/war. A moment that I felt was a bit underrated was during the first episode of this upload. Momo refuses to eat because he is taught to be someone who shouldn't accept help from anyone and especially from those who are dishonorable ie pirates. The kid has been starving for maybe a week or two and even after collapsing from the hunger and then sitting in front of a banquet of food; he clings to his pride and refuses to look weak by accepting help, aka food. However, it is when Kin'emon sits down and takes a bite out of the sea pork that makes Momo finally let his guard down and accept it. I think this moment is really well done. Kin'emon doesn't say anything to Momo. There is no speech, no command, no discussion, he just sits down and eats. Just like Momo, Kin'emon also upholds this samurai code and we see many times of him being too prideful and continuously refusing any help. He finally puts his ego and principles to the side and chooses to be a father instead of this serious and stoic samurai persona he's trying to present this whole arc.

DRESSROSA SPOILERS The character we're talking about is Trebol. I found him to be only mildly annoying, honestly he didn't really bother me that much. But based on McKay's reactions and comments about certain characters we've seen in the past, and not just in One Piece, he really doesn't like characters with gross designs and/or annoying voices and laughs. I wonder how the one pace will be with Dressrosa because I watched it week to week with original pacing and it was very painful. I caught up to one piece when it was running Dressrosa live and I had to stop for like two years it was so bad in terms of pacing. Hopefully this go around watching it with you guys will be better.
