SUZIE Q MY GOAT WELCOME BACK

spoopyjhope

Hamon slows your aging which is why Joseph looks younger than Suzi Q and why Lisa Lisa looked very young despite being 50

antonio bascuñan

the real question is: to be in a narrow cave or be dropped in the middle of the ocean

Peak

Hobatty

From here on, there are only goated stands, I fear.

Enma

Fun Fact: This episode holds the record of least content adapted in the anime adaptation, with it adapting one and a half chapters.

Alex Ramirez

I love the next intro because it's sung by the 3 previous JoJo opening singers: TOMMY, Coda, and Jin. Their voices are easy to differentiate and they sound great together. It's a temporary group named JO☆STARS.

Pizza_Mozzarella

Suzy Q is pushing 70 years so it's pretty expected she looks old. Hamon keeps you slightly more youthful which is why Joseph is built like a tank DILF even at 68 years old. But Lisa Lisa was also 50 years and looked 30 at most due to hamon

This is Daniel

There was an advert for the UK marines in the 90s; where a cadet crawled through a narrow tunnel of water. I think the tunnel is known as the Sheep Dip. I used to get a sense of unease every time I saw it. PS - Cannon is sadistic, I see what you're doing to Carter 😅

cade-carter

well is it harder to survive how deep they are or how high theyd fly? deep deep ocean is truly worse, but if its shallow enough water is easier

The Funniest Valentine

That would be a record high amount of adapted material if it was a One Piece episode

Enma

lol very true, it'd be a dream if they had adapted something even close to that amount an episode post timeskip

Suzie Q mentioning that Jotaro is a family man and cares deeply about his loved ones is an important insight on his character that should be considered moving forward with this show I think, many people unfortunately misunderstand his character thinking he’s cold hearted / doesn’t care when it’s clearly the opposite. Deep down it’s implied multiple times throughout the show as you saw that Jotaro is a good guy carrying the gentlemanly Jonathan Joestar genes <3

JojoJack

Yall should pay attention to the opening next ep.

Jomi

“I’m sure Jotaro is helping Joseph in many ways” Joseph: “Help me out, Jotaro” Jotaro: “Do it yourself.” I’ve always found this so funny

Navri

new intro soon its gonna be so hype

Vojee

Id rather go to space and drift away like kars then go scuba caving i feel you carter

beannie

Lmaooo, in my defense, my first comment trying to make Avdols death believable was better😔

OceanGate Titan commentary “This is the penultimate episode and last adversary, we had added a lot to the original scenario. We wanted to talk about Holy again, even if the group was battling High Priestess. We had to bring news of her as a red string since she's the reason for this journey after all. To do so, we had used Suzi Q. Since she doesn't want to stay on the side and do nothing as her daughter is agonizing, adding her in this submarine episode is justified and allowed us to show her before her trip to Japan, as well as inform us about Holy's condition at the same time. I think it was appropriate to have all these scenes whose atmosphere is reminiscent of sitcoms, where all these exchanges and interactions happen at the same place. In principle, a submarine is a lot more cramped than here. This one is decidedly too big, a typical anime direction. We took care to include the time difference with New York. The Joestars live in a big tower, real-estate tycoon style. In my mind, they only live in one floor, the others being apartments as well. I like High Priestess's sudden attack in the submarine, it intervenes in the middle of a simple conversation, that's an unexpected twist. It skillfully provokes urgency, even more in such a confined space.” - Naokatsu Tsuda

Jonas

i think they'll manage to spot the fact that it's a whole new opening lol

JojoJack

Theres a post-credit scene in the next episode. Episode 24

Ben

Also Straizo looked way younger than Speedwagon

Ben

Well yea for sure, considering the material for stardust crusaders was already completed they have no reason to stretch out the material

Enma

Of course, and they obviously should’ve went seasonal years ago or at least taken some breaks but you know studio and production stuff.

Hegataro

Just a bit of de-localization; in the subtitles they say the user's name is Rose, but the user's actual name is Midler, being named after Bette Midler, with the localized name being based on her album and song The Rose

Kayanolive

3 one piece episodes 😭

TheDirkiestDigg

Well next time is just the sfx. The episode after is the new one

Lothbrok

Plssss REACT TO SHANGRI-LA-FRONTIER, One the Most Slepped on anime. PEAK

Kayanolive

They got a link to a version with correct subtitles very recently!

marco

"I'll never get in a submarine again" lmao okay Jotaro
