Look at the filler list and you'll see why the Hueco Mundo arc feels kinda muddy... The studio stretched out a lot of the fights and also made mixed canon/filler-episodes way too often. It's honestly a shame... the manga is goated Stay strong, guys, peak's ahead 🙌 PS: criticism from OP glazers can't be taken seriously 😅 I'm a fan, but the pacing and the (still !!) ongoing humour-tropes (simp Sanji, scared and freaked-out Nami/Usopp/Chopper, etc.) suck 💁‍♀️

Bleach is funny, it's that rn it's not consistent with his jokes. I found this episode funny, because the humor didn't get in the way of the plot. The weird white experiments were funny playing in the background pesche calling him ichigo and messing with him was also fun. Because they were "silent" jokes, in the sense that you didnt need to scream, physical comedy and talking normally, not screaming nonstop if its not necessary, like it has been. If pesche appeared only now and did his joke the majority would think thats kinda funny, calling by the wrong name and ragebaiting uryu, but in previous episodes he was in the way of the plot so his reputation went down the gutter IMO of course.

From what i remember in the manga we only get face shots of the characters. Lillinette, then starkk, when shes playing with him it pans away to the side and to end a shot of lillinette from below. We never cut away to show shes on top of him. .... Just went to see, chapter 269, and yeah no weird shots Kubo's a bit more cultured, big boobs and ass, even the slimmer characters like soi fon or rukia we get sexy poses or a showing the waist. Also the man, anytime he can he shows those muscles to us.

Sorry, but Jack's vendetta for this show is so over the top that it is kinda annoying. One Piece fans and Bleach fans shouldn't have a rivalry. Jack is allowed to have a vendetta, but it's kinda weird because the stuff that is bad about Bleach can literally also be said about One Piece and is even worse in OP tbh. Imo nothing has been more muddy in anime history (for me) than the stretch from FMI and out PH in One Piece. Both anime are peak, and both have their highs and lows.

@Jonas I think it's the same issue with all big three where the animation studio caught up to the source material and had to start dragging out the pacing or adding filler. One Piece also had really good pacing at the start, then they caught up and pacing became what it is.

In the manga: - that a** shot never happened - her first appearance is portrayed as goofy, not se*ual - the "thats my-" part never happened, she jumps on him to tickle him and (from whats known) twist his nipple - finger in mouth does happen Conclusion: Director of OG Bleach is a weirdo who thankfully never came anywhere close to TYBW.

@A Yes ofc, it includes all the big three, but OP honestly has the worst cases of that by far. My point is just that Bleach gets the most hate even though OP’s pacing and characters get way more annoying and way worse at times, and It's not even close imo. I thought they would be used to it by now after suffering through the worst of One Piece lol

Truly I will never forgive these shows for some of these ecchi scenes. The stuff with yoruichi in soul society - whatever, hot woman, I'm cool with it even if I'd prefer it not be there. The scenes where a character is "totally like 100 years old bro, she just looks young" and doing some weird shit - so bad, genuinely mars the series as a whole, and are just so insane to me. I'm glad modern series have started toning it down, but plenty are still really bad and these earlier shows are mental with what were willing to show.

I feel like Bleach fans have been more than willing to admit that there are very slow very muddy parts, I've seen basically no one say that this part is actually great. Very unfair comparison to measure 2006/07 Bleach against one pace. Not to mention the One Piece the boys are watching has been very carefully and meticulously curated for them even more than one pace in order to fix tons of issues. Let them watch regular one piece so they can see just how bad it really is before they can even be fairly compared. Watch Toei FMI and Dressrossa, its hell lmao Or let me edit the series like one piece fans are so that I can remove the pacing issues and fix the anime original crap. :D

Yeah, there were tons of comments before the arc even started saying the beginning isn’t that good. True, I love One Piece, but OP without One Pace is literal torture, but it still gets glazed to the moon. The pacing is so bad that FMI + PH combined have more episodes than the number of Bleach episodes that the Geks has watched. That’s kinda crazy.

just so you guys are aware, if you’re still using hulu or crunchyroll to watch i suggest switching over to a different site after episode 167. after that is when the show goes into widescreen hd (16:9), but hulu doesn’t make this change until alot later and uses in my opinion a really crappy crop job as well as the quality not being nearly as crisp as it should. just letting you guys know since i hadn’t seen a comment on this before.

i just love how realistic ichigo is despite him being out of ordinary as an entity/human. he is claimed to be one of the strongest shinigami, he is a prodigy, has a hollow mask etc. YET he loses some of the fights he is in. he doesn't know how to use the power well or at least adjust to it, and struggles mentally too... so these keep him relevant to us. as a main character, he is one of the greats.

I definitely know One Piece has its issues, and I’ve already tread through that mud once before, so going through it again is not nearly as bad. I think I’m completely valid in my vendetta against some of the pacing issues here, we all know it’s not great. Is it really that personal for me, no, I’m definitely blowing it out of proportion, I’m still really enjoying the show. I hate that it has these issues because I really love the show, hence why I’m making a big deal out of it.

The stark lillinette scene did not feel that weird and uncomfortable in the manga. Not sure why they made it that bad. Incredibly uncomfortable to watch I doubt that was kubos intention with it.

Some of the outfits are definitely questionable. Unfortunately, it isn't that unusual in anime. And yeah, the humor definitely has declined. It seems more elementary school kids. I have heard TYBW is better, but I think the revealing wardrobe is still a thing for some characters.
