In the beginning yes but I feel like he's done enough in front of her and lied enough to her that she should know by now that he's not who he says he is. She's heard from the whole group now what he's done and she still didn't kill him. Like she at least now knows he attacked the prison and sent merle to kill Michonne. Like she should have really started questioning things when she saw the walker heads in tanks.

They still haven’t told her anything he’s done other than shooting at them??? You can’t expect her to kill someone just because you tell her he’s done horrible things. If Maggie and Merle had told her everything he’d done, I genuinely think she could’ve killed him to save both Rick’s group and Woodbury. But him lying about things and making her wait isn’t enough of a reason. Michonne has to blame herself too. She had the chance to tell her BEFORE ANYONE ELSE and explain everything he had done and everything he had lied about when she fought the Governor, but she just walked away. That’s not Andrea’s fault. And of course she would understand the Governor when she later found out why he sent people after Michonne because Michonne had tried to kill him.

She was with this group before hand. I just dont see why she would trust him this much over them. She knows he's a liar and she sees how he acts. She knows he shot at them first now so he obviously came looking for a fight. He didn't even tell her he's was going to the prison. Yes michonne could have spoken up before she left I'll give you that but I feel like enough has happened since then for Andrea to question things. Andrea even said michonne doesn't act like this ( before michonne left) unless something happened or she felt threatened but she never bothered to figure out why. But yea I just think she should have been questioning things when she saw the heads but that's just me. Though with the groups lack of communication sometimes I blame more on the writing. I guess they thought because she was there she knew about it already? That's the only reason I can think of.

That’s true, Jamar, subtitles definitely spoil surprises sometimes. But I think the screen that we see in their video edit isn’t the same one they’re watching. Like some channels will film themselves watching on their tv but the footage from the show they sync with their reaction is not taken from their tv. And they use subtitles on that footage so their viewers will be able to hear when they talk without missing lines from the show. So it’s possible they aren’t watching the show with subtitles. Anyways, at least I think that’s how they do it.

Totally understand the frustration with Andrea. I feel it too. However, she seems to genuinely care about the innocent people in the town and knows that if they fight, there will be a lot of loss and completely change Woodbury as she knows it to be. She’s been desperate to find something to live for, I could kind of see how she wants to find a way to protect this way of life. But I’m just speculating a bit. I believe her character could be done better, but I also believe her motivations aren’t so shallow that it’s just about her feelings for the governor. But maaaaan is it incredibly frustrating to watch cause the governor is such a pos lmfao!

I don’t think there could have been any other way for the governor and the group to meet and it work out. I don’t know exactly the governor’s parameters for deciding to let some people stay, but it’s been shown that he will wipe out any possible “threat”, for their supplies and so there is no chance of someone taking what they have, it seems. I also believe he doesn’t offer to take groups like the military guys for example (and Rick’s group), because he knows he probably couldn’t convince them of his rules/authority and it would cause problems. It would also just be more people to feed. Like you gotta find the perfect person/group to actually bring into the town and not just kill them and/or take all their shit.

I believe Andrea sees how much help the civilians at Woodbury needs and she feels obliged to since she is there now and knowing how capable our group is, probably gives her some reason to help them, not a great one but gotta be the one that the writers had to go with. So many people assume Andrea is standing with Philip or siding with him alone, but that’s not it whatsoever, it is the TOWN & the people there. Michonne was a hardened survivor prior to meeting Andrea & Michonne faulting her for wanting stability for a little while is kinda wack tbh

Up until this point I would have defended Andrea, from her point of view I think its completely understandable. We as the audience see every effed up thing Gov did and we know there needs to be a villian, she doesent know that. After months of being out in the sticks she finds a save heaven and that also messes with her judgement, I think thats understandable. After the fishtank thing and penny thing sank in and we got pirate gov, the "lovespell" got broken BUT what I think still keeps her there is that by that point she actually cares about the townspeople, I dont think that was copium from her. At the end of the convo with Michonne she told her that Gov would have send Merle to kill her too and THAT should have made it clear, you saw it in her expression that she realized it seemingly, she also got what it takes to finish the job but for some reason she doesent. She can muster to sleep with that psycho again but cant kill him? I never really liked her, her character makes bad decisions and her arc places her in the perfect spot to be mainipulated into believing in Woodberry or rather supress seeing the rotten core, but I always thought whe was overhated. At this point though.. she HAD to do it but she didnt, I cant defend that

And so you just might take something at face value and not consider looking for an angle of comedy in what you read. For your own good, and for the greater good of the public. (just for the record, there is an extra layer of humor there because in this reaction the geks and McKay are expressing anti Andrea and Governor sentiment and anti their relationship sentiment, so to use that as a comparison to give a compliment- to take something disliked by someone and frame it in a positive way to compliment them, is an extra layer of humor that is more contextual, although not neccessary to understand the basic premise of the joke) And no writing a joke + compliment is just part of normal social media I would only be embarrassed by it if McKay himself responded in a negative way. Which he hasnt. And as far as Im aware he wouldn't since this isnt the first time I have made a similar comment and he has already responded in the past before in a generally positive way. I already tried to use calm reason and a little bit of sweetness in my initial responses to you and maybe I shouldnt have given up so quickly on that strategy instead of deploying the tough love so quickly. I was hoping you would learn your lesson and either gain some wisdom/logical understanding or gain some self-awareness that you arent smart enough to be arguing with people on the internet in the first place and you would do the world and yourself a service by stepping out of the conversation when you are out of your depth. I hope if anything you take from this, just read this and hopefully take your time. Perhaps the issue is English might be your second language, so maybe I should be more graceful. If you ask someone "what do you mean by that?" and they give you a kind answer. DO NOT respond with "I already knew that". That is what an asshole does. If you do intentionally ask a question you dont really mean to ask genuinely, in order to pivot to a different point, make that clear IMMEDIATELY in your response. For example "I didn't really mean that question genuinely, I just wanted to get your attention to talk about something else". That's some useful advice for you. I would also suggest learning to own up to your mistakes/learning to apologise... (I will roll my eyes again if youre pathetic enough to respond "wow I cant believe you replied twice")

i dont think anyone should like andrea and it is annoying watching her under his spell but man i cannot say its the craziest thing of all time to want to finally have a home/community in a world like this after being through all theyve been through. i can see how you'd convince yourself to ignore a lot of red flags to hold onto that. she clearly is not fully gone, she speaks up when something she thinks something messed up is going on, she does care about the innocent people in the town and she does care about her old group, but now shes in the worst position possible. hope she steps up next episode but shes not even a top 3 rat from the OG group
