That whale discussion was so great and hilarious. It always surprises and amuses me. And I agree Jack does enjoy talking but that's why he love him. He's full of knowledge and wisdom Haha Hmm I guess I would be an orca since I've always been fascinated with them ever since Free Willy and watching them on TV and media. However I know they are part of the dolphin family so I guess I would be a humpback whale They are also really cool and are very majestic looking with their grand presence and beauty :)

And I feel emotional and sad when I learn about North Korean defectors and their journey and story. I can't begin to imagine the trauma, fear, and pain they felt escaping while also possibly leaving their loved ones behind in the midst of it all.. That kind of guilt and hurt never truly goes away. It stays with you forever.... However I don't blame them for wanting to leave and attempt to have a better life where there's actual hope, promise, and a brighter clearer future. I'm happy gor them that they are no longer slaves, prisoners, or puppets of the system. They fight the odds and chose to be brave risking their life. I've watched movies and documentaries about North Korea and it's fascinating how different it is. It's like night and day. The people's stories are a real eye opening and are truly gut wrenching and devastating. It makes you thankful and to realize how fortunate you are to have all the privileges and luxuries while they are barely have anything at all. My heart breaks for them especially the ones that are too afraid to escape but rather endure it until they reach their final breath... Geez I feel like I always ramble and my comments become too long as a result whoops 😅

I'm always eager to see my girl, Woo and to watch her become an even stronger more capable person and attorney that I know she can truly be. She's so special. I love how she's feeling many new normal human emotions and her personality is softening as she sees all the people struggling in some of these cases. It makes me feel a lot of complex emotions as well. She's learning to feel empathy and compassion. It's beautiful to witness. She always stands up for what's right. It's very admirable. She has a big heart especially when she was defending that mother and daughter even if she never got to experience that connection and bond growing up...

Historically, people in both South and North Korea were one people, and the division of the Korean Peninsula was largely shaped by the Korean War and the political circumstances of the 20th century. Of course, this does not mean that South Koreans support the North Korean regime. Rather, many South Koreans know that North Korean citizens have lived in an environment where access to outside information is extremely limited and that many face difficult living conditions, so we tend to feel sympathy and compassion toward ordinary North Korean people. When North Korean citizens escape North Korea and come to South Korea, the South Korean government provides them with legal, financial, and social support to help them settle into society. These days, many North Korean defectors also appear on Korean YouTube channels and television programs, where they talk about what life was actually like in North Korea and how they have adjusted to life in South Korea after leaving. This has given South Koreans more opportunities to learn about North Korea through the firsthand experiences of people who actually lived there. Of course, not all South Koreans share exactly the same views. There are various opinions and political debates in South Korea regarding North Korea, reunification, and policies toward North Korean defectors. However, criticizing the North Korean government is not the same as hating North Korean people. Many South Koreans strongly oppose the North Korean regime while still feeling sympathy and compassion for ordinary people living under it.

Hey everyone! Sorry I'm late. I haven't felt good the last few days. I think the summer heat is getting to me a little ughhh. It makes me feel depressed and anxious. That's why I'm thankful for the geks and this lovely community. It's my safe space. But anyways I'm happy to be with my K-drama friends It's always nice and fun watching more of our adorable and precious genius Woo. This show makes feel a lot of things within each episode especially a second time around. I feel it all over again 😭

It's beautiful and sweet how both Sooyeon and Junho was ready to protect Woo when they could immediately sense she was scared and overstimulated with the sudden loud noise outside the apartment building. They were doing their best to make her feel safe even in a tense and chaotic situation. I love seeing them always have her back and putting her needs before their own. I'm glad she has them in her life. They've become such lovely and trusted friends.

And the scene with Jung Myung-seok telling Woo to practice saying, Whoa, Whoa with Sooyeon was hilarious and I forgot how much I loved it! I really adore his and Woo's mentor relationship. He's a good strong guiding light to help keep her on track but also always remains respectful and considerate.
