I hate that Taylor and Britt got eliminated. I love Guileermo. But he had lower scores than everyone. I love him sm but my heart broke for Taylor and Britt bc he has so many fans and he was definitely robbed for sure. I thought they were gonna go so far and I feel bad bc him and Britt were so upset about it. Which is sad. So many people said he had so much potential. Carrie Ann even said week 1 he had sm potential. People hate on Carrie Ann bc she is a tough judge. But then the celebs always understand when she is tough on them. It is def tough love bc she believes and knows they can do better. I love Carrie Ann. Also, They are all tough judges in their own way for sure. I just feel Carrie Ann gets hated on the most which I never understand. Just an opinon

Loving Tuesdays just cause of Geks DTWS reactions👏👏😭😭I think with quickstep what I notice most in bad ones are when the contestant and pro aren't in sync with they're footwork/hops. And when they aren't holding frame, it just looks like they're jumping/hopping. When they do hold frame though, their top half practically stays in place even during the fast footwork

My theory about the judge shushing the audience is the audience was not listening to the producers whose job it is to shush them. The show is live and they can't waste time so my bet is the judge was pissed that the audience hadn't quieted down yet and when she shushed them they finally shut up.

Also yes most figure skaters do peak around 18 for a few reasons: 1. Younger, pre-pubescent bodies have a lower center of gravity and less weight, making it easier to spin fast in the air. As female skaters go through puberty, their body proportions change, altering their balance and rotation speed. 2. Complex jumps like quadruple-revolution jumps are heavily rewarded in scoring, and almost exclusively landed by skaters in their early teens. Growth spurts often make it much harder—or impossible—to land ultra-difficult jumps they performed easily at 14. 3. Younger joints and bones bounce back from hard falls and intense training much faster than older bodies. The extreme pounding from thousands of jumps causes chronic injuries, leading many skaters to retire or step back by their late teens or early twenties. A lot of figure skaters throughout the history of the Olympics (and especially winners) have been between 14 and 18. Around 2022 The International Skating Union raised the minimum age for senior-level international competition to 17 to protect the physical and mental health of young athletes and curb early burnout. It was phased in gradually so in 2022-23 season the minimum age was 15, in 2023-24 it was 16 then in 2025-26 it stayed at a minimum age of 17. This change happened after the intense media scrutiny and doping controversy surrounding 15 year old Russian skater Kamila Valieva at the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. The ISU noted the rule change protects young athletes from physical and mental burnout, eating disorders, and severe injuries tied to performing difficult elements like quadruple jumps at a young age. So at least they’re doing something to help these young athletes, especially after the controversy with the Olympic women’s gymnastics team and the horrible abuse they endured from the hands of the disgraced doctor and the Karolyi’s at the Karolyi Ranch. I’m just glad they’re finally doing something to keep these young athletes safe. Sorry about the long reply, my grandpas really into the Olympics and we watch them every year together so I’ve learned a few things over the years. 😬

Complete radio silence when you drop shows is by far the most frustrating thing you guys do by a lot... tanking ear damage because of audio not being leveled out isnt even as annoying as starting a show, getting invested and not knowing if it'll just stop being uploaded without a word for the rest of time. one of those shows being breaking bad (the default greatest show of all time) is so many levels of insane that idk how you can even be a fan of cinema at any level, and not keep going. I understand views pay the bills but cmon man, ONE episode a week shouldnt put so much of a dent in your time/pockets that its a bad trade off. (theres also paying patrons here that want to see it too so its not like its completely time wasted in the finnancial area either)

Its such a different show for the channel and seeing 3/4 of you watching it for the first time is great lol. Fun Fact about Daniella: -She is - YES - married to Pasha for many years and they have a baby girl - Nikita - together. -Dani & Pasha competed and WON many big comps in both: Ballroom and Latin dances. -She started as a trouper in S28 (a pro without a celeb) . -Got paired with S29 Nelly and she proved to be amazing pro and got into the finales -WON her second season (S30) with 6´5 Iman Shumpert even tho they started pretty bad… (That halloween dance to "Us" still get me chills) -Did S31 while pregnant (early) with their kid but she ended in her worst placement yet (11ª) with Joseph Baena. -S32 she got her most "skilled" partner, Jason Mraz and they ended as runners up. -S33 she got 6´11 Dwight Howard and they ended in (6º) (Another crazy nightmare dance) -Many still say that Dylan Efron (S34) had the perfect vibe with Daniella and they ended in the finale. (That Argentine Tango… ) Another fun fact: She got a Emmy Nom for her coreo for the "Us" dance. She is also on many DWTS tours. Back in 2019 when she tour with Derek he called her the "Ferrari" and she is still called that A LOT.
