i think her stand ability is controlling the hair she already has, her hair itself isnt the stand. like hazamada's dummy (surface), which is a physical object that already exists. i dont know the exact term for it but these types of stands are like bound to material objects

I think Yukako is one of the first or arguably the first female character with the “Yandere” archetype in manga. Araki shared that he made her like that because he didn’t like the typical depiction of a girls personality in manga at that time, so cool he decided to do something different, and it fits the themes of this part very well

Fun Fact: Yukako originated from the experiences that Araki gained after getting married during Part 3. Araki had been married for roughly two years when he created Yukako, choosing to draw her as the other side of women that weren't typically depicted at the time. Araki based Yukako's personality and horrific obsession with Koichi on the 1990 film "Misery". In the film, the protagonist is held captive by an obsessed superfan.

Yukako is considered by many to be the first yandere ( obsessed/ psycho) character in manga history..basically it started the troupe

regarding the convo at the end about watching or not watching openings to avoid any preconceptions or spoilers, i think jojo's is the one exception. not only are the openings super hype, but when you watch an episode, usually you can make out a detail when watching the opening again in the next episode. for example, i started watching Steel Ball Run before reading it. i watched the opening and understood nothing. but i couldn't wait for more episodes and ended up reading the entire part over the weekend, and when i watched the opening again BOY OH BOY does it contain spoilers, you just don't get them until they are featured in the anime.

I do not dare imagine how much trouble it would be to have a girl like this hitting on you… What do you think? In terms of animation, this "hair" Stand was difficult to draw. When adding auras to Stands, there are often cases where the aura will extend to the user. In Yukako’s case, this aura will of course extend itself into her hair. For example, there is this one scene where she implants her own hair into Koichi’s scalp allowing herself to control him. We had to use separate cels to differentiate between Yukako and Koichi's hair, which required a little more time than it normally would. Let’s take stock. Up until now, we saw someone get his teeth broken for having tried to hit on a woman, a high schooler was roasted, and here is a girl that kidnaps you when she falls in love… It's at this moment that I've realized Morioh is frankly a really frightening town (laughs).” -Naokatsu Tsuda

I think its funny when people say p4 style made the men less physically masculine but they're genuinely just realistic male proportions atp while still being shredded lol. But I agree with yall I did love the insane levels of testosterone the crusaders were overdosing on Slight spoiler ahead And then in part 5 people say they're even less masculine but all the smallest builds are because they're literally minors and constantly running around with no time to bulk on pizza
