This represents real life if you think about it when you go to compations for example there are some really bringing it and there are some that are really annoying like they think there all that but they suck ormeita is the example of the rich kid buying his way to success or the illusion of success but really he is a terrible fighting coward when it comes down to the nitty griddy and the young arranger with stark is the example of the person that acts like a child in all situations with no real skill and just sits the complaining and crying I think we all have ran into something similar in our lives to some degree thats whats makes it real for me and i can see it being something needed instead of every arrancar or soul reaper being a absoulute bad ass but it is mos def still annoying AF 😂

I love you guys, but man, sometimes, especially with this show, it's like y'all complain so much. Holy crap. I know y’all don't see it that way and just view him as the ultimate punching bag every time he pops up, and all that jazz, trust me, I get why his loud, cowardly schtick gets old fast. You guys are totally entitled to your opinion, but I've never seen someone complain so much about him with such a deep hatred. Going as far as saying you don't even want to watch the show anymore because of him? Like, come on now. His character design is literally meant to be that annoying, comedic foil. But when you look past the gag, his loyalty as a lieutenant is top-tier, he's honestly one of the few lieutenants who actually follows directions and backs up his captain without question when things get real. He actually steps up when it counts, so reducing his entire presence to a constant groan misses the bigger picture. Let the man breathe for two seconds. McKay, honestly at this point I'm going to get you a shirt that says you're his number one fan. 💀

Honestly, it’s true that those scenes are really unnecessary and not good. And nobody is attacking anyone for liking or disliking him, either. I mean, who would actually be a fan of his? Plenty of other reactors also dislike him, and I’ve seen them get genuinely tired of his scenes or visibly annoyed by them countless times. And you know that’s just how this channel is, not just when it comes to Bleach. They’re honest about their reactions. So what are they supposed to do? Like why tf are we watching multiple episodes of Peche and Dondochoka and Omeada sandwiched between peak moments like Barrangans reveal and Vasto Lorde Ichigo vs Ulquiorra etc. The series had a lot slumps in the middle tbh so I understand them not enjoying certain parts.

at the end of the day it's their raw reaction. Not fake, not people pleasing. It's fully raw emotion of the moment. I wouldn't complain with the honesty they are showing. I'm sure they understand the 'Comedic' aspect of Omeda. That doesn't change the fact that it can still be annoying, so I'm not sure why you're not allowing them to fully express how they feel and tell them how they should feel.

Let me glaze Omaeda since everyone hates him. In the moment he's annoying, especially because the anime adaptation's pacing and burger music don't do him any favors. But looking back, I appreciate him more. He went up against Espada #2 despite having basically no chance, beat the elephant Arrancar, and cut off Soi Fon's arm when the situation required it. That earned him some respect from me at least. And I usually hate characters like him, and I found him annoying at first too and still do on a rewatch, but less, but he's at least trying and consistently proves himself despite being scared out of his mind. And tbh that's realistic, because he is probably the weakest character on the battlefield. He's kind of like Usopp, but less of a bum. Definitely not the worst character in anime history. I can name at least 50 One Piece characters that are worse than Omaeda. BUT!!! It's completely fair to find him annoying tho, but he is not a bad character in my opinion.

From what i read the only spoiler part is the asauchi, the rest is just an observation of soi fon as a character and what shikai and bankai mean in their most literal sense. No one in the show says: " Do you know why its called bankai?...." Just erase the asuachi part The rest is good and insightful.

I’ve removed the part on asauchi. Otherwise, the rest is stuff already shown explicitly and some stuff that is never explained in the show at all and has been put together by fans. Ichigo very clearly achieved his shikai by working with Zangetsu. Then he has to learn bankai in 3 days by fighting Zangetsu. I use Soi Fon as an example because we’ve seen her shikai and bankai officially now, but you can see how zanpakutō spirits take after their wielders when Yumichika and Rangiku are training in the World of the Living. They both complain about their zanpakutō, listing a bunch of traits they themselves also possess.

Just gotta say, Omaeda succeeded in stalling Barragan long enough for her to finish what she needed for bankai. He also cut her arm off without hesitation. I get you guys might not like comedic relief (even though bleach started out that way) and you don't have to like the character. However, he has genuinely been doing everything he has been supposed to do and it's easy to hate when anyone else in the same shoes who isn't as fast would be screwed
