And honestly, you guys have had a better approach towards the parts you don’t like in comparison to the past haha, I see the development Geks🙏 and I appreciate it!

I know these batch of episodes are not as great but I like watching what the other characters are doing and their missions, whether is to save mansherry to robin trying to get to Rebecca. I think getting to know these characters is really cool and they have some unique powers like hakuba

The arcs good to me for the most part but this portion of it is brutal to me (as someone who didn’t watch it with one pace) which lowered its ranking in my book……. Plus I’m just excited about the next two arcs, especially the next big one 🙃 Spoiler Wholecake is one of my fav arcs in the show lol aside from Gear 4, and fujitoras speech about Luffy at the end, Dressrosa falls off for me here as a whole

Yeah, if we hadn’t seen any of these resolutions it would’ve felt like a bunch of plot holes by the end of the arc. All those characters were set up to have some relevance, so it just makes sense that they remained involved until the very end Plus I really enjoy most of them tbh!! I frikin love Leo and the tontattas

For the observation haki especially with characters like Rebecca where they likely don't have the best haki, sure she might be able to know what Diamante was going to do but it doesn't necessarily mean that she can dodge things fast enough. I'd be willing to bet she could possibly dodge his sword once or twice before being overwhelmed by it. Some things are just inevitable. It's like how Luffy was able to beat the Gorgon sisters or the Priests from Skypiea

Yeah not every batch is gonna be peak. This 707-714 run after Law's backstory has some good stuff like the Law vs Doffy scenes and the Colosseum fighters getting their moments, but overall it probably is the weakest section of the arc imo and the production quality is pretty rough. Though I do think you guys will enjoy every batch for the remainder of the arc from ep 715 onwards.

Sometimes we just have to sit back and see what the rest of the OP world is doing so make everything else in the world stand out more/ be more appreciated. Anime wise at least. Best part of a manga is you get to imagine your own voice for the character and typically it’s not as annoying. And the scenes/panels go by way faster. :)

Also anyone else keeping up with black clover now that it’s back? I’m sure the Geks will get to it one day, and I know there are trenches as well as with all long shounen series, but man oh man. I still can’t wait for their journey through it.

to answer Cannons question, if rooster head covers himself with a barrier and walks in water, i think he should be fine, his body has to be submerged in water, for example , brook can run on water because he’s not that heavy

McKay you may not slander my cotton candy loving Tony Tony Chopper. I am here to defend him. To start, he hasn't been seen on screen since like ep 650. And secondly, he did do something last arc by helping the kids deal with their addiction, not completely but enough to start their rehab. He literally saved Mocha's life too. You just got to be patient.

For me it’s not really about peak or not peak. Not every episode has to be PEAK. It’s just moreso what happens between the peaks. Like AoT for example or Vinland saga, not every single episode is peak, but what happens in between is still great. But it’s the big 3 and we know how it goes, just part of the experience
