Power is such a troll love her

Vibes

"merica RAwwwww"

Josh Knoebel

I would describe Makima's voice as "sinister". Has this edge underneath it that makes me feel like I should be scared, even when she's being totally chill.

Philbo

bro carters face got so red lol ahah

Shiro

On releasing weekly vs whole season, it is better to release weekly to keep the hype alive. AoT, Demon Slayer, enjoyed longer hype periods for their weekly episodes. Netflix released Part 6 of Jojo (another GOAT anime) in three parts, each part containing 12 episodes, and there was barely any response or hype for such an anticipated show.

And yeah Brig, we heard you in JJK 2.1 when you made the gun devil comment... you ain't sly. When you caught yourself before talking about the parallel with the hotel/hallway loop, too. We're always watching. Literally. That's what we pay you for.

leah

its funny how cannon doesnt like aki meanwhile levi & eren had the exact same relationship as aki & denji do lol ... i doubt he'll still hate aki by the end of the season

Cation

I feel like Aki reminds me a lot like Megumi from JJK

PantsuParty

this was a fun watch lmao. any other vids coming out tonight?

Ben Martineau

YOOO AKI MORNING ROUTINE SCENE LETS GOOOOO

James

I watched CSM all in one day, and that was one hell of a binge

Teresa

We getting anymore episodes this weekend? Or is next weekend?

Ale

About the devils I thunk if there is a fear that almost everyone has at some point is the fear of darkness. I believe the darkness devil would be absurdly strong. Also, I still don't understand the Tomato devil, who tf is afraid of tomatoes lol

Carrie

not cannon saying "sounds like women in all of history" bro who hurt you?? 😭

leah

if you wanna keep watching only mappa you guys should watch banana fish. its abt the mafia and gangs and stuff. super wholesome

Ayo I'm not criticizing Brig. Just poking fun at his comment. Carter/Cannon didn't notice either of them, so no harm no foul. I don't want any of them faking it or trying to hold back. We pay for their genuine reactions, so as long as he isn't intentionally trying to ruin things I don't see an issue.

asdfg

if u think this is crazy prepare yourselves because second half of the season is even crazier

Wy

Yo Carter, remember what you did on 1:06, this will be hillarious fr xD

adam

the madness just begin lol brace yourself

Nick K

You guys talking about wanting anime to drop 6-12 episodes in a single weekend is gonna have people in your comments asking for the same thing from you lol

Audreyldo

I like a lot the CSM reactions, it’s fun and serious sometimes, loving the vibe

Huxley Bennett

Definitely think the hype for shows is better when it's spread out more. The longer you spend with a character, the more connected to them you become and the more 'real' they feel, so being able to binge watch something takes away from that

Frizen

They could have made a 24 ep season but then the quality would drop. The show is kind of like a passion project for them. The sheer amount and quality of character acting animation is basically unheard of for a TV anime. Shows usually sacrifice that aspect for the action but they really wanted to give their all for this.

leah

they only ended up animating four volumes in the first season and there’s 11 total. i’m hoping for the second season they do it in 24 episodes so they can fit it all in instead of making it like 3 seasons worth. i feel like there’s a definitive point where they could end the second season at the end of volume 8 and then do the rest in a third season, however the hype for csm isn’t nearly as big as the hype for aot so i cant see too many ppl wanting to stay on board for all those years just for 12 episodes at a time if that makes sense.

Uhm the CSM manga hype is in fact quite a lot bigger than the AoT manga hype was, what really kickstarted AoT's crazy hype was the anime back then after all.

adam

"that's the end?" carter soo disappointed lol the ultimate cliffhanger

leah
>>112527939

i wasn’t talking about the manga hype or else i’d have specified that. the hype for chainsaw man in general is definitely less than attack on titan viewership and rating wise. i just don’t think it’d be fair for mappa to animate four volumes in season two (which were already gonna have to wait a few years for) and then after ANOTHER few years, come out with season 3 which would only cover the remaining 3 volumes. it just wouldn’t be enough episodes to make a whole season out of. i feel like the hype would die out if they dragged it out that long for such minimal episodes but that’s just my opinion

The RZA

Lol what Cannon said about irrational fear devils got me thinking about funny phobia devils. The peanut butter stuck to the roof of your mouth devil lmao! Theres even a phobia for "the fear of being afraid".

Josh Knoebel
>>112540246

Triskaidekaphobia is just a tiny number 13 walking around lmao. Trying desperately to find someone that's afraid of it.

Adri

I hope we get another chainsaw man tonight!!

The RZA
>>112540246

Omg I didn't even think of that one lol now I'm curious about the fear of long words devil Hippopotomonstro - sesquippedaliophobia

Landen Kiviniemi

I love this show so much. as a manga reader I cannot wait for it to get animated all the way through!

Extrasauce

Fun fact the ending song for ep 5 is called backrooms... like how right now they're stuck on the hotel floor like the backrooms lol

Alex Michael Christensen

cant wait for more of the show, I read the manga before the show came out because it was all I was hearing about, and for actual story, I think the only thing better is AOT, the creator of the manga Fujimoto is a psycho who writes some of the craziest stories of all time, and this one is his magnum opus! season 1 will have nothing on the later stuff lol

Christa
>>112500572

Right….. 😂😂😂 but Jackson’s face too got beet red 😳

Riya

These two were fun eps! Really enjoyed the reactions hehe

Blue John

You guys were wilding with that discussion after ep4 lmao

parALICEis

i hope you guys watch "gantz" some day. its similar in gore and in sus but a little nudity.
