YourGirl

love this show

Mason Schutz

The hate for Amber is getting so old 😭 It’s crazy because this girl is doing everything right. She’s being patient with Mark even though it’s been like a year, she isn’t prying or forcing him to get over his trauma. She isn’t trying to control him or get anything from him. She’s literally being every guy’s dream girl, even though she’s probably worried sick every time he flies off somewhere and comes back beat up. She’s literally being a normal person and people act as if she’s the one that’s obliterated an entire city. Lmao. The point of her character is to see if it is possible to have a healthy relationship without secrets when dating a super hero when you are a normal person. We saw how things ended for Red Rush’s wife and Omni-Man’s wife. Now she is being used to see if Mark makes the same mistake.

Not prying and not forcing someone to hurry up and get over their trauma are things people should do anyway so why would Amber get points just for being a good person. It's understandable to not like her or be unable to be invested in her considering the end of season 1 which showed her being a bad person herself. She figured out Mark was a hero months prior to reveal and was basically testing him on whether he'd tell her a secret that was rightfully his to keep. She then proceeded to attempt to chest on Mark at a party and only didn't because the guy had a girlfriend and had no interest. She not only didn't apologize got that, but compared Omni man's betrayal to Mark's secret before just deciding to take it back. The point of her character doesn't invalidate the poor execution of it.

Y'all should also watch the Atom Eve special. It explains her backstory and powers.

Schwifty_Ant

Idk if y’all realized but the skeletons on the roof are the people Darkwing left up there back in season 1 episode 1 😭😭

Alexis Hunting

When are y’all posting your AOT S4 review? I’m super pumped to see your thoughts!

Conell Werts

Idk if you guys watched it but there is an atom eve episode about her and her powers. It's pretty good.

Mason Schutz , ur really making this about something its not wtf. It has nothing to do about her being a black character lmao, ur just pulling things out of ur ass to spin some narrative. She is a badly executed character that cared more about her feelings than Mark saving people even when she knew he was Invincible. He had a legitimate reason to not uncover his identity to her.

Emil, anywayyy, you can hate her. I love the girl. Moving on! See you next week! 😉

Emil, Also, I love how every single character was on the side of Amber. Even Eve said he shouldn’t have strung her along for FIVE MONTHS like get fucking real. If you think it’s smart to have your significant other in the dark about something that can come and get you killed later on just by association, you’re absolutely out of your mind. SHE SHOULDNT HAVE HAD TO FIGURE IT OUT HERSELF! IT’S CALLED HONESTY! 😱 All these superhero movies really didn’t teach y’all shit huh? Stop acting like she was being irrational because she’s mad that the person that she’s meant to be romantically involved with was keeping his identity secret. When you were dating someone like that affects the other person as well. THIS DOESNT JUST IMPACT MARK!!!! Crazy thought I know!

They werent significant others tho lmao. They were a high school couple. And you cant use the other characters opinions as reasoning why Amber is good, its made by the same writers...

Mason Schutz

Emil, Do you not know what a significant other is? Here’s the literal definition of Significant Other: a person with whom someone has an established romantic or sexual relationship. They were literally romantically involved. Eve even confirmed this… so did William when they were discussing it in the car about his break-up. There weren’t just besties. 😭😂
