WHAT WAS I MADE FOR 👋🏾😫

In case you missed it, a little over a month ago, I dropped this BANGER! And to be honest.. I really do love these covers that are way more groovy, leaning into roots reggae and jamacia rocksteady

People often think ska has to be super bubbly and happy all the time! But the genre is DYNAMIC AS HELL! and leaning into the more soulful vibe leaves more room for the level of feeling a song like this needs

Coves like this also take a little more work. I gotta sit with a lot of rocksteady and reggae, which is normally in my rotation, but I gotta study what makes it sound the way it does and attempt to re-create it. I wouldn’t be able to spend that time curating covers like this without the support here on Patreon! SO A BIG THANK YOU if you’ve been supporting here! This wouldn’t be possible without yall 🥹🫶🏾
