Chao Garden (Sonic Adventure 2) SKA COVER (Patreon)

HAPPY MONDAY TO MY LOVERS OF SONIC, VIDEO GAME MUSIC, AND GENERAL GOOD MUSIC!!

I dropped this cover a little over a month ago, in case you missed it! Never posted it here as a public post on patreon, so HERE IT IS!!!!

THIS was such a formative game to me,. If im being quite honest, most of the music here had such a huge influence on my taste. Not only with the obvious punk vibes that the game gives with some tracks, but even the hip hop and neo-soul on certain stages. Every track from this game is damn near genius, including this one!

I wanted to do this one for YEARS, and always got intimidated by it's deceivingly complex chord structure, but my flipping the skanks exclusively to the keys and allowing the guitar to maintain more of the countermelody and ostinato (big music theory words, i know LMAO) It left room for one of my most interesting covers to date!

AND PAIR THAT WITH THE FLUGELHORN!!!! I had a lot of fun featuring this instrument and making room for this unique cover! I hope y'all enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it!!!!

This one took longer than most covers, nearly 2 weeks of work! SO IF YOU'RE HERE SUPPORTING... Y'all are why I can take and work on covers like this that require more attention to detail and exploring new sounds! If you dig this, I am working on more stuff in this vibe! And the more support I get here, the more I can exclusively focus on work like this! SO THANKS SO MUCH!!!!
