As a premium member, how bothered are you about the “exclusive” aspect of the Q&As? Would you be ok with them being answered on a live stream, with the video library being the Patreon only element?

TBH I would be fine with everything public(Even taking questions) but patreon questions having priority.

I’m here mostly to help support and get access to more, I don’t mind if anyone else gets access, and it’s easier to watch the videos on YouTube than via Patreon.

Most interesting questions come up naturally from discord anyways. The perk is not really necessary. I feel like most of us just want to support the channel.

Personally I support to allow you to make more content I enjoy, not really to gatekeep the content. That being said, leaving the questions to only the patreon might sort out those generic beginner questions that have been asked and answered a thousand times.

I don’t mind it being public. It’s a great perk but I’m a member to support your work and I feel what you offer is already worth its weight in gold. Potentially having them public might encourage more people to opt for a membership, particularly if maybe the questions were still members only, but I wouldn’t feel like I was losing out either way. It’s a really nice offering regardless.

I starting doing them again because people wanted them, but I’ve never been super comfortable doing direct Q&A stuff on YouTube because you answer Person A’s question and then someone else responds as if you’re talking specifically to their situation (or gets annoyed when you’re not). Maybe I just need tighter criteria for questions, in general, and that might make me feel more comfortable with them being public.

imho making them public would reach more people, and also help you/the channel, but I agree as well with adding priority to patreon questions (on any other question you find interesting), like you would do with playtests and game feedback.

Yeah I’m up for anything that helps make IGC better for all indie devs and is good for the channel. Priority questions could be good just like with the live streamed games. Mainly a Patreon member to support your work and for the discord server, which is just 💎

As a fresh patreon member I still mainly check youtube. I also mainly joined to support you, not the get something exclusive, so I am in favour of making it public.

I'm not bothered by the availability of Q&As. Offering my support, being part of the community and having IGUK-priority is more than good enough! I'm more inclined to value a healthy work environment and if public Q&A's impacts you negatively I'm against it.
