I can't believe we hit our first patreon milestone so quickly! An exclusive Patreon QnA!

So here's your chance, over the next 24-48 hrs if you've ever wondered my favorite books, hobbies, or most embarrassing moments, ask away!

I'll do my best to respond to the top rated questions below in video format in the next post.

Comments

Scott

Have you ever been scammed? Do you wear suspenders because you can’t find your belt or because they look cool?

Randy Yue

How many investigations are you running at any one time?

Hunter Harrison

Any other upcoming investigations that you can hint to? Anything you are looking into that isn't related to fake gurus or crypto scams? Great rabbit hole content.

Nishane

What’s the big project you are next working on?

KennyShin

Question: Do you have a team, how do you quickly find such info. E.g I have a friend who lose almost $1mil to a faking mining scam website but i can't follow the trail once it goes to coinbase. Do you use apps like breadcrumbs? I am just trying to see if i ever can get justice.

KennyShin

Also do you do coffezilla full time or have another job? ALso what was your previous job. thanks!

Jason Poirier

Have you ever faced judgement from other YouTuber / Content Creators or others for not taking sponsorship deals?

KennyShin

Can you setup ENS domain wallet so we can help contribute to the cause!! We need more people like you and zachbht or else all these scammers will think they can get away with it. I am still waiting for USDT to fall, thats goin be the next disaster imo

Parker Rogers

Whats something youve wanted to cover in a video that you've just never had a chance to do before?

Isaiah

What is your go to starbucks order, as a starbucks barista myself. Love the videos, they’re very entertaining and very informative.

Dan H

When are we going to get another Coffee Break video? It’s been a while…

Keaton Law

would you take the branding and money of a traditional newspaper (like the New Yorker) and continue making the same content?

Keaton Law

favorite song to play on the piano? and could we get more Coffeezilla tracks from anton pax??? he kills it every time and I love the added depth. It would be awesome to get a new banger for the CryptoZoo debacle

Alex H

When confronting shady characters in interviews, firstly, how do you know when to push them for more info and when to hold back? Also, how on earth do you keep your cool when they start telling you how to do your job?!

Benny

How suspicious were you of your editor Harry working for London Real and Brian Rose (according to his LinkedIn) before seeing the light and joining you? Do you think there's a chance he only joined you to sabotage your operation on Brian's behalf? 😉

Tammy Stahl

Show us your pets!!! Also what’s your favorite style of art and book genre

Andy

How do you verify anonymous sources?

Andy

Have you published videos that you discovered you were wrong about after the fact?

Magnus H

which person you've covered, would you most want investigated by the authorities?

BuyHighSellLow

Have you considered looking into the politicians (on both aisles) that SBF was funding/paying? Have you considered doing a collaboration with ColdFusion?

BRIAN THOMPSON

Stephen, as if you don't have enough to do. Save the children... I'm concerned that Save the Trees is headed in the same direction. I've tried to get verification of the location and acreage of the trees, starting with one tree planted. They claim 20 million trees planted. Thats thousands of acres. They would not even reply with one location or map. Their promotional videos don't even show dozens of trees, and only handfuls of people planting a meager amount of seedlings. They should be able to provide maps, and receipts of the purchase and/or donation of 20 million trees. One tree planted is one of a dozen "charities" that claim to be planting trees by the millions. Where's the trees? Show me the trees!

Ben Revzin

How do you stop scripting in your mind when you're not in the studio? How do you slow your brain to get quality sleep (if you do)? Thanks!

BrandonTWY

would you ever be interested in lobbying the government for more action to be taken against these serial scamming influencers? We all know the names that pop up over and over again, it seems like nothing is ever done. There should be a specific law enforcement special unit team that handles these high profile cases, do you agree?

Holly Smith

I’ve noticed most of your audience (and by extension the wider crypto space) are male - why do you think that is?

Holly Smith

Why do you think people keep investing in these projects, despite the years of evidence that most of them seem to fail?

Cem

Hope I didn't miss it. What was your first contact with crypto? How did not knowing anything about it to doing extensive blockchain investigations happen? Also, are you a gamer, reader, danser? I can't tell if you're a young looking late 30s guy or a late 20s that's got its life together, so you're a mystery to me.

Tanish Panjwani

Any possibility of going to Joe Rogan? Your podcast with Lex was amazing.

Esam Mohamad

What motivates you the most?

Youssef

What is your most memorable experience while uncovering a crypto fraud, and how did you go about solving it?

RLee

Do you have plans on continuing / rebooting Coffee Break? I enjoyed the way you broke down some of the biggest and brightest marketing campaigns during the 2010s, and would love to hear you analyze marketing in the post-COVID world. Thanks Stephen!

Deehoi

Hi coffee! my question is how prepared are you in the case the person/organization you're reporting decides to sue you? I have just recently started watching your investigations, and I'm loving them! Just curious after seeing the Bitboy vs Atozy incident.

nabil

Hey, What challenges do you face in the process of investigating and exposing fraud and scams? What measures do you take to protect your safety while investigating potentially dangerous individuals or organizations?

Caleb Turner

Why don't you have patreon showing how many supporters you have? Or the actual amount of supporters for each goal? I just like to see how much my favorite creators are making from patreon. You deserve a lot of people supporting you!

Branden Gibson

My wife asked me if I was supporting you. I said no, but I probably should. So here I am! Thanks for the videos Coffee. Do you think investing in crypto is any different from investing in dollars or Japanese yen? Any investor wouldn't advise arbitrarily diamond handing fiat. While the supply is controlled in various ways that aren't quite as arbitrary when it comes to the better cryptos, at the end of the day is still fundamentally just a medium for the exchange of value. Do you view it similarly to me or do you think it offers more than that?

BIG DOG AUS

Take mine as a comment but I’d love to see short stories involving the dystopian universe even when there is not a live story attached.

Connor Moore

What are some policy solutions you have heard from people in the know on crypto (securities) scams? Anything we can do to kill this madness?

Evan Macko

Is there a full version of your outro song and if yes can you share it :) Thank you! Merry Christmas!

gamerguy235

Hello Coffee! Firstly, I just wanted to say to keep up the great work, the work that people like you do is a great help to many and it's truly appreciated! Now for my actual question: In the Patreon Launch video, I couldn't help but notice a Nintendo Entertainment System in the background of the apartment as you were showing it. This leads me to wonder, what's your history with video games, do you have any favorites, do you still play video games today? Once again, thank you for all the hard work that you do and congratulations on reaching 2 million subscribers!

DaveBp

Hey Coffee, it's an awesome amount of work you put into every episode and I feel lucky to have stumbled upon your channel. My question is about your robot bartender. He sounds and speaks like Knowing Better. Is that a coincide or you two know each other?

mikki

Don't mind me. Everyone asked all the great questions. I just wanna drop a random one here. Have you ever watched Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency? Have a merry Christmas! ✌️

Kevin Mackey

Thank you for everything. Are you working on any short films?

Ronald C.

Does the CGI stuff really translate to more viewers and viewer retention? Or is it just fun for you? (Which is completely fine too, not criticizing where you feel best to allocate your time and money.) I am just curious why your Patreon video is partially dedicated to releasing work around the CGI apartment and city. While some of that "world building" is cool, I'd still watch all your content if your videos were just you, the camera, and random shots of documents/graphs/news clips.

Kevin Mackey

I have watched the Lex interview a few times now. I learn more every time. Such an eloquent speaker. (You coffee that is ) Great info. Question: Are you invested in Crypto If so who do you follow in the space? If not where do you invest your money

Ziad Azam

What do you consider a bigger accomplishment, your work on the FTX investigation or Logan Paul NFT scam, or being featured on Netflix!!!!

Nic

Did Logan fake the suicide forest video?

Dami Ola

Would you do any collab work to uncover some int'l scams?

Maarten Bosmans

I am sorry i saw this too late. But this is my question at which scam you investigated or read about you thought to you yourself damm this is kinda genius?
