Somewhat political comic. I just felt like posting this to twitter in order to rationalize maintaining an account there. The United States doesn’t have much that is sacred anymore, but Elon firing all the park rangers makes my stomach squirm.

I read it as the snowflakes celebrating their rebellious individuality while shrinking from anything outside their own consensus (which, this being the internet in 2025, I should state for the record is far less bad than actual Nazis*) *But if you want to understand why millions would rather burn down the world than let (we) liberals assume their (our) birthright as society's prefects then check out the Mastodon comments on the @fesshole thread...

I think we can all agree with the comic but when you call anyone who wants government accountability and efficiency a Nazi you just make 'Nazi' meaningless.

Admittedly, he is unique. And when he melts, no one will mourn him.

At times like these, I think it's important to take a stance, so thank you for doing so.

DOGE-Zilla is destroying Good and Evil alike; I've recently been speaking about this with others who've been directly affected. I have to object anytime someone calls Elon a "Nazi", though, especially for this reason, because it's a betrayal of what the Nazis were, so Orwellian as to be itself Nazi fare. THEY WERE -FOR- "big government", none moreso. Destroying the natural-park system is absolutely bad, but it's NOT something the Nazis would've done, au contraire (not that this *should* make a difference, but I'm an Ashkenazi Jew myself, and like all such, the Holocaust chainsawed entire branches off my family-tree). In all cases, the greater enemy is the moral-binary mindset itself; please read this (I actually think you'll love it, might even give you an idea or two!): https://aeon.co/essays/why-is-pop-culture-obsessed-with-battles-between-good-and-evil Of course, this cartoon could reflect recognition of that, as well, so...nice little Rorschach-test you've made there!
